Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, students studied from home, affecting various aspects of student life, one of which was the way of learning. The aim of the research is to find out how students study at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. There were 5 student key informants, 1 Guidance and Counseling teacher and 3 parents. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data processing techniques use descriptive qualitative analysis and techniques to test the validity of the data with data trigulation. Based on the results of research on SMA N I Matur students, it shows that the way students learn during the COVID-19 pandemic is the first method of learning from the aspect of making a schedule, namely not carrying out all the schedules that have been arranged, and students not using their free time to the fullest. second, how to learn from the aspect of reading and taking notes, that is, there is still a lack of motivation for students to read, and in making notes students only make it in summary form. third, how to learn in the aspect of repeating lesson material, that is, students repeat lessons when they are going to face daily tests or exams. Fourth, how to learn from the aspect of concentration, that is, students can concentrate, but the student environment is less supportive. The five ways of learning from the aspect of doing assignments, namely, students rely on sources from the internet in doing assignments that are not sure of the truth of the source, and also if the internet network does not support the student's assignments will pile up.

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the phenomenon that existed in Korong Matua Nagari Sikucua Timur, Padang Pariaman Regency which showed that there were teenagers in this Korong who were less responsible for their learning activities, were less able to choose their own learning activities and there were also teenagers who lacked initiative and lacked able to do the task independently. To increase the change in adolescent academic procrastination, one of the services provided in counseling guidance is implemented, namely group counseling. The goal to be achieved in this research is to find out whether there is a significant difference before and after the extinction technique is given to academic procrastination. This research belongs to the pre-experimental model of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population is all adolescents in Korong Matua at the junior and senior high school levels, 20 people, while the technique used in sampling is the Non-Random Sampling technique, namely Purposive Sampling where sampling is based on certain considerations, the sample in this study is 10 junior high and high school level youth person. The data collection instrument is a Likert scale. Data on adolescent learning independence was collected through a scale, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Rank Test with the help of SPSS 22. The results of the research that are known from the results of the Z test (Wilcoxon) show the difference between pretest and posttest scores. From the results of the calculation of the Wilcoxon test, a significant p value of -2,805 was obtained. Based on the applicable provisions, it is known that the results of the Wilcoxon sig p-value test are 0.004 <α(α = 0.05), which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is a change in Adolescent Academic Procrastination before and after being given the Extinction technique.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the success of credit provision to horticultural farmers in Kemuningsarilor Village, Panti Sub-district, Jember District, East Java. Given the capital-intensive nature of horticultural farming, access to credit is essential to support productivity. The research employed a census approach, using a saturated sampling technique that included all 50 farmers in the population. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to evaluate the influence of farmer experience, education, income, credit interest rates, and credit terms on the success of credit provision. The results indicate that farmer experience, income, interest rates, and credit terms significantly affect the success of credit provision, while education shows no significant impact. This is because, in rural agricultural settings, success in credit provision is more strongly influenced by practical farming experience, financial capability, and institutional criteria than by formal educational attainment. These results highlight the importance of strengthening farmers’ financial readiness and providing tailored credit schemes that consider their experiential knowledge rather than relying solely on formal qualifications. Future research is recommended to explore additional socio-economic and behavioral factors, such as financial literacy, access to farming advisory support, and risk attitudes, which may further explain variations in credit success among farmers.
