Abstract

Indonesia has many Civil Servants (PNS), the Indonesian National Armed Forces and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) who are sure to retire every year. Based on data from the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), Thursday (12/11/2020), in the 2021-2024 period there are around 706,438 civil servants who will retire. In 2021, there are 162,484 employees who will retire either because of the retirement age limit (BUO) or non-bup, which makes many financial institutions focus on serving these retirees. One of them is the Nasari Savings and Loans Cooperative which focuses on providing services to retirees in Indonesia. As well as remembering and Departing from the economic crisis that hit Indonesian society in 1998, a group of retirees who cared about the situation at that time, established a Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) named NASARI. The aim is to provide solutions to retired civil servants, military, police in addressing their needs in their old age.The Nasari Lhokseumawe Cooperative seeks to improve the welfare of its members, namely retired employees by using several strategies, namely Improving the Welfare of its Members by improving Services to Members and facilitating the Administrative process, Improving the Welfare of Its Members with Products Owned by the Nasari Cooperative, Trying to provide low interest rates and allowing retirees those aged over 70 years make loans, Increase Cooperative Capital, namely by increasing member's mandatory savings, and opening unlimited deposits. There are 3 obstacles faced by the Nasari Lhokseuawe Joint Welfare Cooperative in improving the welfare of its members, namely limited capital, sharia regulations, and the many competitors who also provide loans to retired customers so that they have to compete with the Nasari Cooperative, the Lhokseumawe branch. And the strategy carried out by the Nasari Lhokseuawe Cooperative in overcoming obstacles in improving the welfare of its members is by opening deposits that are not covered for customers or other people who want to deposit their money, following the applicable sharia rules, and providing the best service to customers so they can compete with another competitor.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of good corporate governance, free cash flow, and leverage on earnings management with audit quality as a moderating variable in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. This study used secondary data from financial statements of mining companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange accessed at www.idx.co.id. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression methods with the help of Eviews. The results show that good corporate governance, free cash flow, and audit quality have an insignificant effect on earnings management, and leverage significantly adversely affects earnings management. The results also show that audit quality is a variable that can moderate the relationship between good corporate governance and earnings management but cannot moderate the relationship between free cash flow and earning management and leverage with earnings management. Companies must continue to manage the company well in order to achieve company goals

Abstract

This paper examines the impacts, strategies, policies needed, and the sustainability of small and medium enterprises in the tourism sector (SME-Tourism) in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. We used an exploratory research design with a survey approach to 384 SME-Tourism in Indonesia in 2022. The data was collected through interviews with the help of a questionnaire. The data analysis used a simple descriptive analysis model, and the results showed that the pandemic had a broad impact on SME-Tourism, and the impacts tended to overlap with each other. This shows the complexity of their problem. To that end, they implemented a number of strategies to reduce the worse impact. Unfortunately, the strategy they use is not effective if it is not supported by a number of policy packages from the government. Without policy support, most of them cannot predict the viability of their business. Only a small percentage are optimistic that it will last for the next three months, while others are pessimistic that it will last less than three months. Therefore, the right policy package is highly expected from the government, while SME-Tourism itself needs to increase creativity and innovation in various aspects of its business, including in the fields of marketing, production, finance, human resources, and organization

Abstract

In various countries, the application of Justice Collaborators varies, the application of Justice Collaborators was first recognized in Italy, at that time a member of the Italian mafia Joseph Valachi was tested for crimes committed by his group, then followed by America and Australia legally protection. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, arrangements regarding new Justice Collaborators are regulated in joint regulations with law enforcement officials as well as a circular letter from the Supreme Court. In giving testimony, in general, Justice Collaborators were motivated by a reduced term of detention or from their heart the intention to repent. However, in testimony, sometimes a Justice Collaborator is harassed or hindered by a fellow member who commits a crime, and this is what every country in the world needs to regulate so that the dismantling of a crime case can run optimally. In responding to Corruption cases, countries in the world have responded with various regulations so that they can create a deterrent effect for the perpetrators of these crimes, regarding the Justice Collaborator rules they have included in their country's laws. However, in Indonesia, the rules regarding witnesses, perpetrators and reporters are only regulated in the Supreme Court Circular Number 04 of 2011 and regulations with law enforcement officials and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). It is fitting that the rules regarding the protection of reporting witnesses and collaborating witness witnesses be included in the laws of our country, so that the courageous mentality of the witnesses can continue.
