Abstract

The problem in this study is how the ability to write Malay Arabic words in class VI SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study was to determine the ability to write Malay Arabic words for class VI SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru. The data in this study were objects in the form of class VI students at SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru. The data collection method in this study was carried out in the field by giving a skills test to analyze word writing errors in Malay Arabic written discourse, then the results were collected. The research data is in the form of ability test results to analyze writing errors in Malay Arabic written words obtained from the research sample. The research sample was used as a data source in this study, namely all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru, with a total of 38 students. Data processing techniques for ability tests are by collecting, assessing, presenting and concluding existing data. Data collection in this study was taken using an assessment instrument. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the ability to write words in Arabic Malay of 6th grade students at SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru is in the "low" category with a percentage of 5.53%. The application of this learning is expected that students can write words with letters that are arranged into an Arabic-Malay word. However, the categories and percentages of the results of the questionnaires that were distributed indicated that the students were not fully able to write words in Arabic-Malay. There are some students who have mastered letters and are adept at composing Arabic-Malay letters fluently, even though they are not very neat. From the research that has been done, there are also some students who are still not fluent in stringing letters due to the lack of practice in writing Arabic-Malay.

Abstract

Research to find out how Malay Arabic writing skills are in male students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program in the class of 2022-2023, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University. Writing using Malay Arabic script is a cultural lesson, especially for the Malay community. Malay Arabic is used to communicate about culture and customs in written form. Writing is one of the language skills that must be possessed. Writing is an activity that expresses ideas in written form. The research method used is quantitative by giving a writing test with 10 questions to male students class 2022-2023. The test was carried out to test the ability to write in Malay Arabic, for the highest frequency with a score of 90, there were 2 students with a percentage of 9.52% and the lowest was with scores of 50 and 60 which had a percentage of 4.76% and 19.05%. So it was concluded that male students from the class of 2022-2023 were capable of writing Malay Arabic because they got a score of 70-90 reaching 76.19%.

Abstract

The development of the times means that the Riau Malay people no longer use Malay Arabic in their daily lives, so it is necessary to preserve the cultural heritage of the Riau Malay people. The aim of this research is to determine the average category of ability to write animal names in Malay Arabic writing for students of the Indonesian language and literature education study program. The type of research used is quantitative research using quantitative descriptive methods. The data collection technique was carried out using a written test technique. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive data analysis technique. Based on the research results, of the 25 samples there were 3 students who got the very good category with a percentage of 12%, 10 students who got the good category with a percentage of 40%, 11 students who got the fair category with a percentage of 44%, 1 student who got the poor category with a percentage 4%, and no students received the need for guidance category. The conclusion is that the average student ability in writing Malay Arabic is 67.6 in the good category.

Abstract

Bukit Melintang is one of the villages that is the location of Riau University’s Bangun Kampung Community Service through Real Work Lectures (Kukerta) 2023. Kukerta is a form of community service program by lecturers and students. Through Kukerta, students with the guidance of field supervisors contribute by applying the knowledge and technology gained in college directly in the midst of rural communities. The service objectives of the Bukit Melintang Kukerta team are directed at community empowerment to improve the quality of human resources in developing the potentials in the village and providing solutions to existing problems in the village for the creation of a better Bukit Melintang village. The methods used start from observation, interviews, socialisation, and implementation of various work program designs. The results of the Kukerta Bangun Kampung service in Bukit Melintang describe the changes where the points of change of the target community are achieved through each work program that has been implemented in developing the potential and competence of the village community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna filosofis yang ada pada ukiran jenjang dan anjungan Rumah Adat Lontiok di Desa Pulau Belimbing, Kampar. Demikian halnya penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi pengetahuan dasar khususnya bagi masyarakat Melayu agar mampu menyentuh generasi muda untuk menjaga nilai-nilai yang ada dan membentuk karakternya. Adapun metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Penulis mengamati langsung objek yang berfokus pada jenjang dan anjungan Rumah Adat Lontiok di Desa Pulau Belimbing. Dalam metode penelitian, teknik analisis yang digunakan berupa pengumpulan data dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi langsung terhadap bangunan dan arsitekturnya. Selanjutnya hasil ditemukan dari analisis adalah ornamen dan ukiran yang ada pada objek kajian Rumah Adat Lontiok berisikan makna dan motif Melayu. Melalui analisis kajian, ditemukan makna dari lingkaran yang berjumlah 4,5, dan 6 pada ukiran papan tumpuan anak jenjang kiri dan kanan Rumah Adat Lontiok. Hal itu merujuk pada hukum yang mendirikan rumah tersebut, yaitu empat hukum adat, lima rukun Islam, dan enam rukun Iman. Kemudian ditemukan juga makna ornamen pada anjungan rumah tersebut yang berisikan motif flora dari pelambangan makna terhadap sebuah pohon besar tempat bernaungnya ketua adat dan masyarakatnya. Ornamen dalam anjungan tersebut juga terdapat motif berbentuk tombak yang dimaknai pada hukum adat dan kepercayaan, serta peraturannya. Demikian pula di dalamnya ada ornamen yang berbentuk batu nisan di pangkal dan ujung anjungan yang dimaknai sebagai sebuah kuburan. Hal tersebut dikiaskan sebagai rumah terakhir manusia sebelum menghadap Tuhan.

Abstract

Language has a variety of skills, namely, reading, writing, listening and speaking. In learning Malay Arabic, two language skills are used, namely reading and writing. So, it can be concluded that reading is the process of seeing and understanding something written to obtain information and knowledge and reading is a step in broadening one's horizons. Writing is a productive and expressive activity. Writing activities require a person to be skilled at utilizing what is on his mind, mastering various dictions and understanding language structures. Learning Malay Arabic is essentially a process of learning the rules of the Malay Arabic script which aims to form a generation that is good at writing and reading Malay Arabic script so that it can be preserved for the next generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendekripsikan kemampuan yang dimiliki mahasiswa angkatan 2022B Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dalam menulis kata tulisan Arab Melayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu sampel mahasiswa angkatan 2022B dengan jumlah 20 orang dan objek penelitian yaitu kemampuan menulis kata Arab Melayu. Analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah statistik deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan hasil tes tertulis, kemudian diberi penilaian, menentukan presentase hasil pencapaian tes menulis, dan menghitung skor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis kata Arab Melayu angkatan 2022B belum sepenuhnya memahami kaidah penulisan Arab Melayu dengan baik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil penilaian yang menunjukkan kemampuan mahasiswa angkatan 2022B berada pada kategori rendah dengan rata-rata 57,00%. Saran yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan merefleksikan diri tentang kelemahan dalam pembelajaran Arab Melayu sehingga pada mata kuliah Arab Melayu yang akan datang pada semester selanjutnya dapat membenahi kesalahan dan melakukan pembetulan.

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang penggunaan bahan ajar dalam kearifan lokal. guna menghasilkan tenaga akademik, profesi, dan vokasi (calon guru dan guru) yang memiliki kompetensi unggul. Penyusunan bahan ajar yang selama ini dilaksanakan (model faktual) oleh guru masih ditemukan kelemahan, sehingga untuk mengatasi kelemahan tersebut peneliti mereview berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan di Sekolah dasar. Produk hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan panduan oleh pengawas maupun kepala sekolah dalam melakukan pembinaan bagi guru dalam penyusunan bahan ajar disekolah dalam kearifan lokal. Abstract

Pulau Jambu village, located in Kampar Regency, Riau, Indonesia, has an area of 60.7 km2 and a population of around 3,254 people, with the majority adhering to Islam. This village is divided into four hamlets: Sungai Betung, Kampung Panjang, Kampung Baru, and Pulau Jambu. This article describes the four main pillars that form the essence of Indonesian people's lives in Pulau Jambu Village: the "Kukerta Bangun Kampung" program as a form of community service, a lively 1 Muharram celebration, outreach efforts about stunting, and the commemoration of independence on August 17.each of these elements reflects cultural identity, religious values, health challenges, and the spirit of patriotism in the village community. With a variety of activities that include Adhan, Recitation, Tahfidz competitions, as well as festive competitions on August 17, Pulau Jambu Village strengthens Indonesian unity and culture while overcoming the problem of stunting and improving people's welfare

Abstract

One of the themes included in the Kukerta UNRI 2023 activity is the welfare theme particularly in community health and safety programs. Based on the theme and program, the activity performed by Kukerta UNRI in the village of Pulau Terap is devotion to the community through the 4R method of household nonorganic waste utilization. The purpose of this activity is that students are expected to find solutions to health problems, particularly those caused by household garbage, especially in the village of Pulau Terap. The goal is also to educate people on how to manage inorganic household garbage to be more useful products. As for products made in flower pots using fabrics in cloth litter that are widely found in the household. Students do this activity with the two stages of socialization and practice. Socialization involves the poor health impact of garbage, and how the 4R method can provide solutions to the garbage problem. But practice followed by illustrating steps made to create flowerpots from inorganic household garbage.
