Abstract

Dengan memahami potensi dan karakter siswa, kita bisa mendapat gambaran tentang tingkat penguasaan pengetahuan, mengetahui aspirasi dan kebutuhan mereka, serta bisa menentukan kedalaman dan keluasan materi yang perlu diajarkan. Selain itu, informasi tentang potensi dan karakteristik siswa bisa kita gunakan sebagai acuan untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang kreatif dan aktif, agar nantinya hakikat pengajaran mampu terlaksana sesuai keinginan. Pengajar memiliki fungsi pokok dalam dunia pengajaran serta memiliki posisi yang paling strategis guna menggapai hakikat pengajaran yang sesuai standarisasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Agar mencapai sasaran yang diinginkan perlu diadanya pendalaman dengan metode studi kasus. Sekolah juga harus menyediakan ruangan/tempat untuk peserta didik yang berguna untuk menumbuhkan bakat yang dimiliki dengan adanya kegiatan keterampilan ekstrakurikuler Guru kelas memiliki lebih banyak kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas seorang peserta didik. Karena seorang guru itu sebagai penentu arah (tujuan) dan sasaran belajar peserta didiknya, memberikan membantuan pembentukan nilai, memilih pengalaman belajar, menentukan metode/strategi mengajar yang baik dan mudah di terima oleh peserta didik, dan menjadi contoh untuk ditiru oleh peserta didik. Berikut ini adalah faktor - faktor dalam melakukan pengembangan potensi peserta didik yaitu: Pembawaan dalam diri peserta didik, Kompetisi guru kelas, Pihak sekolah seharusnya mampu menyediakan fasilitas (tempat) sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung.

Abstract

This quasi-experimental study evaluated the effectiveness of group guidance with alternative interpretation techniques to enhance social self-acceptance in 16 vocational students (Vocational High School PAB 12 SAENTIS, Indonesia). Using a pretest-posttest control design, social self-acceptance was measured via a Likert-scale questionnaire based on Sheerer’s (2010) framework. Results showed significant improvement in the experimental group (pretest M = 68.75, posttest M = 127, p < 0.001), with normality (Shapiro-Wilk p > 0.05) and homogeneity (Levene’s p = 0.564) confirmed. Qualitative findings highlighted increased self-confidence and peer support. The study demonstrates that alternative interpretation techniques effectively improve social self-acceptance, addressing a gap in non-Western educational settings. Despite its promising results, the study is limited by a small sample size, short intervention duration, and lack of long-term follow-up. Future research should involve larger and more diverse populations and explore sustained behavioral outcomes over time. The findings have practical implications for integrating structured cognitive techniques into school counseling programs to support students’ psychosocial development.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk memahami pilihan konsumen terkait pembelian jeruk Sunkist impor (studi kasus di P. T. Bumi Nyiur Swalayan, Kota Palu). Penelitian dilakukan antara bulan Juli 2024 hingga September 2024. Sampel yang digunakan untuk menentukan responden berjumlah 30 orang yang membeli jeruk Sunkist. Cara analisis yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah pengujian chi kuadrat. Hasil dari studi ini dapat dirangkum sebagai berikut:1). Konsumen di BNS Pusat Kota Palu lebih menyukai jeruk Sunkist yang memiliki rasa manis dan warna oranye cerah. 2). Faktor yang paling diutamakan oleh pembeli ketika memilih jeruk Sunkist di BNS Pusat Kota Palu adalah rasa dari jeruk Sunkist itu sendiri. 3). Dengan derajat bebas sebanyak 6, nilai chi kuadrat (tabel X₂) pada tingkat signifikansi 5% adalah 12,592. Diketahui bahwa nilai chi kuadrat (X₂) sebesar 2,106 lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan nilai di tabel chi kuadrat (tabel X₂). Sehubungan dengan itu, hipotesis alternatif (h₁) diterima sementara hipotesis nol (hₒ) ditolak dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of misconceptions that occur in Cenderawasih University physics education students in the material Temperature, Heat and Waves. This research is a descriptive research conducted in physics department of Cendrawasih University by involving 22 physics education students. The data collection technique used was a test in the form of multiple choice questions of 30 items. The questions were distributed to students and then the results were analyzed by using the Certainty Of Response Index (CRI) method to be categorized into four levels, one of which is misconception category.  The results of the study revealed that students experience misconception in the three materials analyzed with the average percentage of students who experienced misconception in the material of Temperature, Heat, and Waves are 20.7% (low category), and 17,61% (low category), and 32.12% (moderate category), respectively. One of the factors causing misconceptions is the lack of understanding and references from educators. Therefore, it is expected that the physics materials is delivered clearly based on the concept so that students can avoid misconceptions.

Abstract

The integration of virtual laboratories has become an innovative solution for enhancing physics education, particularly in addressing challenges related to limited access to physical laboratory resources. This study aims to investigate the perceptions of physics education students at Cenderawasih University regarding the use of EveryCircuit-based virtual laboratories in learning dynamic electricity concepts. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 16 students. The questionnaire assessed three key aspects: material comprehension, usability of the EveryCircuit application, and students’ motivation and skills. The results revealed that 42.50% of students agreed that the EveryCircuit-based virtual laboratory improved their understanding of dynamic electricity concepts, while 46.87% agreed on its usability, and 43.75% reported enhanced motivation and skills. Despite positive responses, some challenges emerged, including limited proficiency in using EveryCircuit and occasional technical barriers such as unstable internet connections. Overall, the findings suggest that EveryCircuit-based virtual laboratories offer an effective alternative for teaching dynamic electricity, promoting a more interactive and accessible learning environment. The study recommends further research to address technical challenges and improve training on the use of virtual laboratory tools. Additionally, incorporating complementary digital resources and hands-on guidance could enhance the overall effectiveness of virtual laboratory implementation in physics education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini  merupakan bagian dari pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kondisi geografis Desa Naman Kecamatan Naman Teran, Kabupaten Karo terhadap aktivitas sosial masyarakat. Kondisi geografis, seperti topografi, iklim, dan sumber daya alam, membentuk pola interaksi sosial, mata pencaharian, serta kebudayaan masyarakat. Desa Naman dengan karakteristik geografisnya menjadi studi kasus untuk memahami bagaimana faktor-faktor alam memengaruhi kehidupan sosial warganya. Selain itu, Desa Naman yang terletak di Kabupaten Karo memiliki kondisi geografis yang khas. Pada Penelitian ini menfokuskan pada kondisi geografis yang memengaruhi aktivitas sosial masyarakat desa. Desa Naman, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara, memiliki kondisi geografis yang unik dengan pegunungan dan perbukitan yang mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakatnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi geografis Desa Naman mempengaruhi mata pencaharian, hunian, transportasi, dan budaya masyarakat. Masyarakat Desa Naman telah mengembangkan strategi adaptasi untuk menghadapi tantangan geografis, seperti mengembangkan pertanian terasering dan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam lokal.

Abstract

Tumbuhan yang berdaun merupakan salah satu kategori tumbuhan yang memiliki berbagai manfaat. Tumbuhan ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan dalam produk kecantikan, makanan, obat-obatan, pewarna alami, dan kain. Makalah ini membahas cara mengidentifikasi jenis daun untuk ecoprint dengan menggunakan metode Deep Learning, khususnya Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Tujuan dari identifikasi ini adalah untuk mempermudah menentukan jenis daun yang bisa dan tidak bisa untuk ecoprint teknik steaming. Metode yang digunakan saat ini masih manual, dengan mengambil beberapa jenis daun dan diproses. Dalam pemrosesan manual sangat lama lebih dari satu hari, dan tidak efisien untuk membuktikan bahwa sampel daun yang dicoba tersebut bisa atau tidak untuk ecoprint. Mengatasi masalah ini, solusi mengunakan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algoritma Deep Learning lebih tepat. Penelitian ini menganalisis 400 gambar daun yang diambil dari 10 jenis daun untuk diidentifikasi. Proses pelatihan dilakukan dalam dua tahap: Feature Learning dan Klasifikasi, dengan jumlah epoch sebanyak 15. Hasil training (0,9850) dan valisasi (0,9796) sedangkan hasil pengujian accuracy rata-rata diperoleh (0,9194). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa algoritma Deep Learning yaitu Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) bisa mengidentifikasi jenis daun untuk ecoprint.

Abstract

Problems with specialization and planning services in schools are often caused by pressure from the social environment, a mismatch between students' interests and skills, and limited resources. SMA Negeri 12 Jakarta runs an merdeka belajar curriculum facing problems in implementing specialization and planning services, namely limited counseling teachers as resources. The purpose of the research is to describe the specialization and planning services implemented by counseling teachers at SMA Negeri 12 Jakarta and the problems faced in the merdeka belajar curriculum. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Through interview, observation, and documentation methods. The research subjects were the principal, vice principal for academic affairs, counseling teacher coordinator, and students. Data processing using the NVivo14 application results in the world cloud and project map. The results show that collaboration between counseling teachers, vice principals of academic affairs, subject teachers and parents can support the implementation of specialization and planning service programs in schools to help overcome the problems that occur in these schools.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study aimed at understanding the social interaction abilities of students with special needs (SEN) in schools, as well as the role of the Guidance and Counseling (GC) program in fostering these abilities. The research subjects included the GC teacher, principal, vice principal, SEN students, their peers, and the parents of SEN students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that the school adopts an inclusive approach, providing a special admission pathway for SEN students during enrollment and offering opportunities for participation in school activities such as art performances and Islamic holiday celebrations. GC teachers play an active role in providing individualized counseling services tailored to the needs of the students, and in building communication with homeroom teachers and parents. The social interaction skills of SEN students develop gradually within the school's inclusive and supportive environment. The implemented GC programs are not significantly different from those for regular students but still take into account the individual needs of SEN students. Collaboration between GC teachers, the school, and parents plays a crucial role in supporting the development of the students' social skills.

Abstract

The multi-party system in Indonesia has experienced significant dynamics since the Reformation era, marking an important change in the journey of democracy in this country. Political freedom obtained after the reformation paved the way for the birth of many new political parties that participated in the general election, so this is the reason for the creation of a complex multi-party system and provides various challenges and opportunities for the consolidation of democracy in Indonesia. This study aims to determine and describe the challenges and opportunities of the multi-party system in strengthening democracy in the Reformation era. The method used in this study is qualitative. The results of the study show that the multi-party system in Indonesia in the effectiveness of political party management is still dominated by elite figures and families so that parties function more as individual political vehicles than institutions that represent the interests of the wider community, and this is the main challenge for the multi-party system in Indonesia. Then, the most highlighted opportunity is the increase in political representation for democracy in Indonesia. The multi-party system allows various interest groups, including minorities, to establish parties and compete in general elections. This opens up space for various political aspirations that may not be represented in a two-party system or a one-party dominance system. This political pluralism should be able to create public policies that are more inclusive and represent the interests of various levels of society. In addition, a multi-party system can also encourage the emergence of new, fresher and more innovative parties, as well as provide alternatives for voters who may be dissatisfied with the existing major parties.Key words: Multiparty, Reform, Political System
