Abstract

Rapid world developments and changes in society demand an innovative and relevant learning approach to improve the quality of student education. In this context, the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model offers interesting potential for increasing student creativity through project-based learning which emphasizes students' active involvement in planning and implementing projects that are relevant to the real world. Therefore, this research aims to identify students' perceptions of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model and the extent to which its application can influence student creativity. The research method used was a quantitative approach with data collection techniques used with instruments in the form of questionnaires, as well as data analysis through simple linear regression using SPSS Statistics 20. The results of the research showed that students had a positive perception of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model. They also have a supportive view of student creativity at the school. Apart from that, the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model significantly influences students' creativity, which means that this learning model can increase students' creativity in the learning process in the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the planning, implementation, assessment, and characteristics of the global citizen project learning model in civic education learning. This study used qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques and data sources were obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results and discussion in this article indicated that the planning of a global citizen project learning model was carried out by preparing a learning planning design that includes approaches, methods, models, media, and learning evaluations. The implementation of the global citizen project learning model was carried out with the concept of blended learning in two meetings based on the syntax of the global citizen project learning model consisting of topic determination, project design, implementation, evaluation, and publication. The assessment of the learning model of the global citizen project was carried out using observation sheets, written and oral test formats, as well as the observation sheet format for evaluating the results of global citizen project products. There are six characteristics of the global citizen project learning model in civic education learning, i.e. developing religious attitudes of faith, piety, and character; tolerance; global insight; critical, creative, and innovative thinking; collaboration and communication, and media literacy.

Abstract

Berbagai isu-isu global yang terus menghantui negara-negara di dunia menjadi kekhawatiran bersama terutama berkenaan dengan eksistensi warga negaranya. Kehidupan yang semakin dinamis dan kontekstual menyebabkan warga negara dunia harus menyesuaikan dengan lingkungan dengan berbagai macama isu-oisu global dan persoalan yang kompeks. Hal ini berdampak pada berbagai sektor kehidupan diantaranya meliputi bidang pendidikan, kesehatan, lingkungan, kemiskinan, dan kesenjangan sosial lainnya. Berbicara mengenai sektor pendidikan tidak terlepas dari pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang menekankan pada isu-isu global dan cara mengatasinya melalui diskusi kelas. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam perspektif global menawarkan solusi yang menarik bagi warga negara muda khususnya di lingkungan formal untuk terlibat secara aktif, kritis, dan mampu memecahkan masalah. Penelitan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif berbasis studi literatur berkenaan dengan dampak isu-isu global terhadap perkembangan pendidikan kewarganegaraan khususnya di negara Indonesia. Berdasarkan kajian literatur yang ditemukan oleh penulis bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan global dapat dalam pembelajaran di kelas dapat memecahkan berbagai persoalan dan isu-isu global yang actual. Hal ini disebabkan karena pendidikan kewarganegaraan pada hakikatnya merupakan program pembelajaran yang multifaset. Dengan pendidikan kewarganegaraan, peserta didik mampu memiliki komitmen dalam memecahkan isu-isu lokal, nasional bahkan global melalui tanggung jawab sosial, berkompetensi global, dan keterlibatan yang aktif.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Materi Komitmen kebangsaan dalam pembelajaran PPKn  berfokus pada upaya mewujudkan cita-cita nasional dan membangun wawasan kebangsaan. Namun, banyak guru PPKn menghadapi tantangan dalam menyampaikan materi dengan efektif. Salah satu permasalahan umum adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional yang hanya mengedepankan penjelasan satu arah tanpa adanya interaksi dengan siswa, menyebabkan keterlibatan siswa yang rendah dan pemahaman yang terbatas. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan penggunaan model pembelajaran SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dengan metode kuasi-eksperimen dan pendekatan kuantitatif, peneliti menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan dari model pembelajaran SQ3R terhadap peningkatan pemahaman siswa pada materi komitmen kebangsaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang menerapkan model SQ3R (kelompok eksperimen) dan kelompok yang tidak (kelompok kontrol), dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (2,743 > 1,678) dan taraf signifikansi 0,08 > 0,05 Kata kunci : komitmen kebangsaan, model pembelajaran SQ3R, pemahaman siswa

Abstract

This paper discusses the emergence of student social loafing in group learning. It is known that social loafing is when an individual's effort is not maximized in group work rather than independent work. Project-based learning is recommended in the independent curriculum with teaching and learning activities designed to make teachers and students actively involved. This study aims to find the effect of project-based learning in social studies learning on reducing social loafing of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 29 Bandung using a quantitative approach correlational method. Using probability sampling techniques, researchers used instruments or distributed questionnaires to a sample of 170 people across class VII. The data processing results from this study show a positive and significant influence between variable X project-based learning and variable Y decreasing students' social loafing with a percentage of 56.4% of the project implemented and the remaining 43.6% is influenced by other factors. The implication of this study shows that project-based learning can be one of the alternatives to reduce social loafing in the classroom.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the social studies value-based hypothetical model of Islamic boarding schools to build social intelligence. This research was conducted at the Islamic Boarding School of Al-Ihya 'Ulumaddin Cilacap Indonesia using a qualitative approach with the case study method. The data were obtained through observation of educational activities in Islamic boarding schools, in-depth interviews with informants, and evaluation of the documents obtained during the research process. The data is then analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion/verification. Based on these stages, it is then presented in the form of information about a hypothetical model of social studies education based on Islamic boarding schools. Values education in Islamic boarding schools is carried out integrally in a religious education system that refers to several sources, namely Islamic religious teachings, the legacy of the clergy, the heritage of Islamic boarding schools, the thoughts of Imam Ghozali, the thoughts of the founders of the Islamic boarding school, community culture, and Pancasila. The values explored and developed at Islamic boarding schools consist of worship values, suhbah values, taadun values, tawasuth values, consistent commitment values, istiqomah values, patience and gratitude values, taawun values, mutual respect values, perseverance values, simplicity values, values courage over kindness, and the value of sincerity. The hypothetical model of social studies education based on Islamic values is carried out by bringing students to the pesantren environment to be involved in learning activities so that students can feel the atmosphere of the Islamic boarding school environment. The key to the success of values education in Islamic boarding schools is leadership and exemplary kyai so that support from all components appears, both from the internal pesantren and the community. Keywords: Hypothetical Model, Social Studies Education, Islamic Boarding School Values

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of cyberculture on digital literacy skills in the context of social studies learning. Adopting a quantitative research design, the study employs a correlational approach and utilizes various data collection methods, including observation, document review, and questionnaires. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 50 Bandung, where 1,169 students were surveyed in grades seven, eight, and nine. The sample was determined using the proportional stratified random sampling technique, resulting in a sample size of 300 students. The data analysis technique employed is a simple linear regression analysis test. The study's findings indicated that cyberculture in social studies learning significantly affected the literacy skills of students at SMP Negeri 50 Bandung, with a variable correlation level in the medium category.

Abstract

Belakangan ini kerusakan lingkungan cukup memprihatinkan sebagai akibat ulah manusia yang kurang bertanggungjawab. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengungkap kerusakan lingkungan dan keterlibatan warga negara dalam mengatasi kerusakan lingkungan tersebut. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi atau kajian terhadap berbagai literatur jurnal dan buku yang relevan. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara mendalam guna menghasilkan data sasih. Hasil penelitian menunukkan bahwa kerusakan lingkungan, memiliki dampak secara langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap proses Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Indonesia. Dampak langsungnya berkaitan dengan karakter masyarakat Indonesia yang cenderung keliru dalam mengelola lingkungan. Sehingga, menimbulkan bencana, seperti tanah longsor, banjir, kekeringan, polusi udara, peningkatan suhu gumi, sumber daya energi yang semakin menipis, pendangkalan dan pencemaran sungai. Dampak tidak langsung adalah, karena Indonesia menjalin kerjasama dengan negara lain dalam lingkup bilateral dan multilateral. Sehingga, isu kerusakan lingkungan menjadi salah satu prioritas pemerintah untuk turut andil dalam penyelesaiannya. Oleh karena lingkungan ini merupakan rumah kita bersama, maka menjaga kelestariannya merupakan tanggung jawab bersama seluruh warga negara Indonesia dan dunia. Masing-masing orang, kelompok, suku, perusahaan, Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat, dan pemerintah harus memiliki komitmen bersama untuk menjaga supaya kerusakan lingkungan tidak semakin mengkhawatirkan di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The main challenge of education is to require students to have social skills. However, there are still many students who need more social skills. Students who lack social skills will feel challenged or have more difficulty adapting to the school environment. Based on this, this study aims to analyze 21st-century competencies (4C) to improve students' social skills. The method used in this study is a survey research method with a quantitative approach. This study uses a quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest posttest design. The population of this study was 423 class students. The sample of this study was 166 students. The methods of collecting data used were questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The instrument used in collecting data was a questionnaire sheet. The technique used to analyze the data was inferential statistics. The study results positively influenced 21st-century competencies (4C) and students' social skills. The regression coefficient shows that 21st-century competencies (4C) positively affect students' social skills. It is concluded that 21st-century competencies (4C) can improve students' social skills. Students' social skills are becoming increasingly important in the digital era. Therefore, improving students' social skills with 21st-century competencies (4C) in the learning process is necessary.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab dan model radikalisasi di kalangan generasi muda ditinjau dari berbagai literatur. Data hasil penelitian diolah dengan beberapa prosedur yang ditentukan, meliputi proses kompulasi, analisis, dan simpulan dari berbagai jurnal nasional dan internasional bereputasi yang relevan serta portal berita online terkait radikalisme di kalangan mahsiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa radikalisasi terbentuk dalam dua level utama, yaitu mikro dan makro. Serta secara spesifik disebabkan oleh faktor pendorong, penarik dan pribadi. Kecenderungan individu rentan (mahasiswa) berafiliasi dengan kelompok radikal karena proses radikalisasi yang terbentuk melalui fase atau tahapan-tahapan menjadi semakin radikal. Prosesnya dimulai dari fase kepekaan akan ideologi menyimpang, perubahan perilaku, bergabungnya pada kelompok radikal hingga berujung pada tindakan aski kekerasan (terorisme).
