Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Panoramic radiography is an imaging examination used to visualize the teeth and oral cavity using X-rays. This examination requires proper patient positioning and clear instructions to prevent imaging errors, such as the appearance of artifacts. Providing effective instructions can be initiated through good public speaking skills. Effective communication between radiographers and patients is essential to achieve optimal image quality. Radiographers who deliver clear instructions and explanations can assist patients in understanding the examination procedures they will undergo. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between public speaking indicators—respect, empathy, audible, clarity, and humble—and patient understanding during panoramic radiographic examinations. Methods: Data were collected using a questionnaire completed by outpatients undergoing panoramic radiography. The data were then statistically analyzed using the chi-square correlation test. Results: Based on the correlation analysis between public speaking and patient understanding, among the five indicators of effective communication (respect, empathy, audible, clarity, and humble), two indicators showed a significant relationship with patient understanding (p-value < 0.05), while the remaining three indicators had p-values > 0.05, indicating no significant relationship. Conclusion: Most respondents were aged 21–30 years and were female, and they perceived radiographer communication as effective with a generally good level of patient understanding. The chi-square test results demonstrated that the clarity and humble indicators had a significant relationship with patient understanding, whereas respect, empathy, and audible showed no significant association. Keywords : panoramic radiography, patient understanding, public speaking ABSTRAK  Latar Belakang:Radiografi panoramik merupakan pemeriksaan untuk melihan gigi dan rongga mulut menggunakan sinar X. pemeriksaan radiografi panoramik memerlukan pemosisian dan isntruksi yang tepat agar tidak terjadi kesalahan foto seperti munculnya artefak. Pemberian instruksi yang baik dapat dimulai dengan public speaking. Komunikasi yang efektif antara radiografer dan pasien diperlukan agar mencapai tujuan yaitu hasil foto yang baik. Radiografer yang memberikan instruksi dan penjelasan dengan baik dapat membantu pasien dalam memahami prosedur pemeriksaan yang akan dilakukannya. Tujuan: Penelitian betujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan public speaking indikator respect, empathy, audible, clarity, humble dengan pemahaman pasien saat pemeriksaan radiografi panoramik. Metode: Pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner yang diisi oleh pasien rawat jalan radiografi panoramik yang kemudian hasilnya diolah secara statistika menggunakan uji korelasi chisquare. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi antara public speaking dengan pemahaman pasien, diketahui dari lima indicator komunikasi efeltif (respect, empathy, audible, clarity, humble) terdapat dua indicator yang berhubungan dengan nilai p value< 0.05 dan tiga indicator lain memiliki p value>0.05 sehingga tidak ada hubungan dengan pemahaman pasien. Kesimpulan: Mayoritas responden berusia 21–30 tahun dan berjenis kelamin perempuan, serta menilai komunikasi radiografer telah efektif dengan tingkat pemahaman pasien yang tergolong baik. Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa indikator clarity dan humble memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan pemahaman pasien, sedangkan indikator respect, empathy, dan audible tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan. Kata kunci : pemahaman pasien, public speaking, radiografi panoramik

Abstract

The phenomenon of delegitimization of minority Muslims has become a problem in religious life in Indonesia. Violence, intimidation and division are commonplace. This phenomenon will be seen from the point of view of analytic philosophy. This article aims to examine the chronology of the destruction of places of worship, the main causes of destruction, the inner experiences of the victims, and the pattern of conflict resolution that has been implemented. This article uses Wittgenstein's theory of truth claims, religious exclusivism, and language games. This study analyzes the roots of conflict, the mechanisms of delegitimization, and its impact on social cohesion. This study shows that the conflicts experienced by the Indonesia Institute of Islamic Dawah (LDII) are not solely triggered by doctrinal differences, but are the result of interactions between minority exclusivism, the claims of the majority's truth, social delegitimization, and the failure of inclusive dialogue. The accusation of heresy reflects the struggle for interpretive authority within the Muslim community. With Wittgenstein's framework of language games, differences in teachings are understood as expressions of different ways of life so that they cannot be the basis for misdirection. Therefore, conflict resolution demands an egalitarian dialogue that recognizes the plurality of religious experience and rejects claims of a single truth.

Abstract

This study aims to describe or describe the stages and processes of implementing the Computer-Based School Examination (USBK) describing and explaining how the implementation of the Computer-Based School Exam, describing and analyzing the success rate of implementing the Computer-Based School Exam, describing the obstacles in the implementation of the Computer-Based School Exam in Indonesia. SMPN 5 Sungai Penuh City. This research method is a qualitative method with the type of case study research. The design of this research uses informants, namely principals, teachers, students and USBK operators. Teacher participants who teach in the classroom can be seen from the demographic data of participants in the form of gender, years of service, education level. USBK Research Results have a good impact on teachers, schools, and students. For teachers, by using a computer, it is easier to correct students' test results. For the USBK school, it helps to determine the quality and quality of school education and understanding of student learning materials, then students can increase their self-confidence and the value of honesty and transparency in the implementation of the exam. As well as being able to help students in understanding Technology, Conclusions, USBK is an alternative technology-based exam that makes it easy for all parties involved in the evaluation of student learning, the implementation of USBK at SMP N 5 Sungai Penuh City is running smoothly and has been well prepared by the school regarding the necessary facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

The goal of the research is to find out the comprehension, internalization, and the practical side of the Islamic Work Ethics (IWE) concept by the teaching staff of an Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT) located in East Kalimantan. The study applies the interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA) technique to highlight the teachers’ experiences in the course of balancing the spiritual values, the demands of the organization, and the social responsibilities. The research used semi-structured interviews, observations, and school documents to collect data, and then the data was analysed by the method of iteration to find out the main themes. The results uncovered four overarching themes that can be summarized as follows: (1) work as a form of worship and a responsibility that nurtures inner drive and ethical devotion; (2) the principal's (uswah hasanah) exemplary leadership is the major factor that either fortifies or undermines the practice of IWE; (3) the continuing interaction between the ideal religious principles and the organizational structures, especially in relation to work, administration, and pay issues; and (4) the promotion of IWE as a social distinction that places teachers in the role of moral protectors of the community. The research findings indicate that IWE is more than just a personal moral quality, rather, it is a lively and dynamic interpretable framework directed by the expected spirituality, the organizational environment, and the cultural norms. By this research, the theoretical engagement with IWE moves toward a phenomenological understanding and contributes to the discussions on the practical and policy implications of work culture strengthening, ethical leadership, and teacher well-being in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study investigates the pharmacological potential of Cassia fistula (Tilai), a plant traditionally used by Indonesian tribes as both medicine and food. The ethnobotanical significance of this species has inspired scientific exploration of its bioactive compounds. The ethanol extract of Cassia fistula stem bark demonstrated strong antioxidant activity, with an IC50 of 7.512 μg/mL, comparable to Vitamin C's IC50 of 4.716 μg/mL, indicating effective free radical scavenging. Additionally, the extract exhibited notable cytotoxicity against MCF-7 breast cancer cells, with an IC50 of 51.26 μg/mL. UHPLC-HRMS analysis revealed nine bioactive compounds, mainly flavonoids, phenolics, and quinones, which may contribute to its biological activities. These findings support the hypothesis that Cassia fistula stem bark contains potent antioxidant and anticancer constituents, highlighting its potential as a natural source for developing therapeutic agents. This research provides valuable insights into the phytochemical profile of Cassia fistula and its cytotoxic effects, encouraging further studies to explore its mechanisms and applications in cancer treatment.

Abstract

This study aims to design a strategic implementation of productive waqf through a plasma waqf scheme to support sustainable development in Cirebon Regency. Waqf management is still dominated by traditional models that are not aligned with human development. Waqf has not yet been able to reduce poverty and suffering. This study employs a qualitative case study approach; data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving key stakeholders, including waqf managers, the Cirebon Regency government, and beneficiaries. The research findings indicate that the design for productive waqf development utilizes the plasma waqf scheme through a dual-track investment approach: the development of micro-enterprise units and business projects developed by government financial institutions. Waqf institutions and the government conduct regular joint oversight to ensure success. To strengthen human resources, all business unit managers are trained in skills and management through a group-based concept where members mutually evaluate one another. Evaluation and monitoring are conducted in an integrated manner among the government, the waqf trustees (nadzir), and the business units as implementers. This scheme represents a new model where waqf management undergoes a shift in coordination and managerial transformation. This scheme aligns with the path toward achieving the SDGs to eradicate poverty and strengthen humanity.
