This study aims to develop an E-Book for accounting practicum and evaluate user responses to its implementation. A needs analysis revealed that 48 out of 51 students lacked access to learning resources and required instructional media, correlating with their suboptimal learning outcomes. The research utilizes a Research and Development (R&D) approach, specifically employing the 4D model. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Questionnaire was administered to gauge user feedback. The participants included 51 eleventh-grade students from SMKS Filadelfia Pemangkat. Data analysis involved both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods to address the research questions regarding the E-Book's design, user feedback, and any significant disparities in responses based on socio-economic status. The E-Book, developed using Canva and edited with Heyzine, comprises 2 chapters, 4 videos, 2 Excel files, and 2 online quizzes. User responses from small and large group trials were overwhelmingly positive, categorized as "Strongly Agree." Further analysis indicated that students from higher socio-economic backgrounds had a higher median score (3.95) compared to those from moderate (3.50) and underprivileged backgrounds (3.00). These findings suggest significant differences in user responses based on socio-economic status.

The role to teach reading of recount text material for junior high school is perceived unattractive and ineffective. The purpose of this current study was to figure out the effectiveness of the implementation Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) Method to teach students' reading comprehension on YouTube. Using simple random sampling technique, 33 students were selected from VIII C grade students of SMPN 01 Siantan in academic year 2022/2023. The data analysis method of this study was pre-experimental research with pre-test and post-test one group design model which the experiment carried out only in one group without comparison group. The result of this study revealed that before treatment was given, the students’ mean score was 51.97, while in contrast, the mean score of after treatment was 80.76. In data analysis, the result of the effect size computation was 1.88 which was indicated as strong effect. It can be recommended that junior high school teachers to implement PQ4R learning method to enhance students’ reading comprehension.

This study aimed to develop PJBL-based e-modules in the interactive multimedia created in the context of developing media that can used to make learning more effective. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model through the stages of Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The subjects of this study were students of the multimedia expertise program at SMK. The PJBL-based e-module development was carried by validating media experts, design and materials, measured with a Likert scale of 1-4 and calculated with the Gregory index. Obtaining measurements from media experts a validity coefficient is 0.89, from design and media experts obtained a validity coefficient of 1. So it can concluded that PJBL-based e-module media is suitable for use as material for making interactive multimedia. The results of student responsess as measured by percentages, obtained an average student interest response of 96.34%, student motivation in learning reached an average of 93.26%. The effectiveness test through the pretest and posttest involved 30 participants with a significance of less than 0.05, showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. Based on this, it concluded that PJBL-based e-module learning media was effective in increasing learning in making interactive multimedia in multimedia expertise competencies.

Training on Research Grant Proposal Writing and PKM at FKIP UNTAN aims to improve the ability of lecturers to design superior and quality research proposals. This activity was carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation, evaluation and reporting. The implementation stage consists of two methods, namely lecture methods, interactive discussions and case studies of examples of proposals that pass funding. The discussion revealed strategies for writing competitive proposals, obstacles in data collection and proposal preparation. The active involvement of the participants showed high enthusiasm, with more than half of the participants planning to apply for Bima Grants next year, supported by the materials from this training. The event not only provided in-depth insights into quality proposal writing, but also emphasized the importance of concrete steps to achieve research goals and contributions to society. The training has helped improve participants' understanding and readiness to develop more competitive grant proposals.

This current research aims to improve students' listening comprehension skills using animation videos. The classroom action research was conducted at Senior High School 2 in Teriak, Bengkayang, with 34 first-grade students participating. These students faced challenges in comprehending word meanings, implicit messages, and explicit messages in audio. Over two research cycles, findings indicated that animation videos significantly enhanced students' understanding of simple past tense verbs. The videos provided repeated exposure to vocabulary and, through the combination of moving pictures and audio, helped students better grasp both implicit and explicit messages of the stories. Consequently, the researchers concluded that students' listening comprehension skills can be effectively improved through the use of animation videos.

AbstractThis research was aimed to describe the correlation between students’ selfesteem and speaking performance. This research was conducted due to the fact that many students in English Education Study Program of FKIP UNTAN faced the speaking problem. This problem was mainly caused by students’ less confidence on their speaking ability. This research applied the correlational design. This research worked with students in Batch 2016. The techniques used for data collection were interview and measurement, while the tools were questionnaire and interview guide. The findings revealed that the correlation coefficient between self-esteem and speaking performance was 0.4. This indicated that these two variables had moderate correlation. Thus, there was a correlation between students’ self-esteem and speaking performance. Keywords: Correlational Study, Self-esteem, Speaking Performance
