Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Field Work Practice, Self-Efficacy, and Family Environment on the Job Readiness of students from SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta. The research method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study consists of 196 students from SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling with the Slovin formula, with a level of difficulty accuracy of 5%, resulting in a sample size of 132 students. The data analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) PLS using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The data analysis techniques in this research consist of measurement model analysis, structural model analysis, and testing the hypotheses of direct influence. The results show that variable X1 to Y has an original sample value of 0.254, t-statistics of 3.164 > 1.96, and a p-value of 0.001 < 0.05. The results for X2 to Y have an original sample value of 0.192, statistics of 2.565 > 1.96, and a p-value of 0.005 < 0.05. Then, the results for X3 to Y have an original sample value of 0.370, t-statistics of 3.343 > 1.96, and a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. The F-Square calculation results for variable X1 to Y are 0.288. The F-Square value for variable X2 to Y is 0.179. The F-Square value for variable X3 to Y is 0.189. The results of this research indicate that there is a positive and significant direct influence simultaneously between Field Work Practice, Self-Efficacy, and Family Environment on Job Readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of a website-based digital employee attendance system at PT David Roy Indonesia, including the obstacles encountered and efforts made to optimize its application. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques included interviews with five informants consisting of operational employees and Human Resources (HR) staff, observation, literature study, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of a website-based digital attendance system at PT David Roy Indonesia has been carried out well and has facilitated employee attendance administration. The procedures for using the system are considered practical and easy to understand. Supporting factors for implementation include ease of access, automatic attendance recording, and support from HR. However, there are still several obstacles, such as technical disruptions at certain times, dependence on internet connection, and the process of employee adjustment to the new system. This study is expected to serve as material for the evaluation and development of digital attendance systems to be more effective and sustainable.

Abstract

Cashless transactions offer the advantages of simpler, faster, and safer transactions compared to non-cash transactions, and can increase economic activity in a country. To support digital payments, BI released QRIS as a national QR code standard. The utilization of QRIS as a payment channel has increased every year. This research focuses on the strategy of Bank Indonesia Jakarta Representative Office in developing non-cash payments through QRIS for MSMEs in Jakarta, the impact of non-cash payment development strategies through QRIS, and constraints on non-cash payment development strategies. This research is a field study using a descriptive qualitative research approach. The results of this study show that there are several strategies including conducting socialization, including MSMEs in BI strategic events, connecting with Perumda Pasar Jaya traditional markets which were later designated as S.I.A.P QRIS markets, and receiving complaints about QRIS. As an impact of the strategy of developing cashless payments through QRIS, the findings of this study show how QRIS shortens the payment process and makes transactions more secure for both merchants and consumers. On the other hand, people's dependence on cash transactions and public understanding of payments through QRIS are the main challenges faced by Bank Indonesia Jakarta Representative Office in implementing non-cash payments through QRIS for MSMEs in Jakarta.

Abstract

This study investigates how parenting styles influence vocational students’ entrepreneurial intentions and career choices, considering self-efficacy and entrepreneurial attitudes as mediating variables. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 381 vocational school students and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 24. The participants consisted of 55.7% females and 44.3% males, representing families from low-, middle-, and high-income groups based on the 2024 Jakarta provincial minimum wage, with parents working as civil servants, private-sector employees, entrepreneurs, and others. The results indicate that authoritative parenting positively fosters entrepreneurial intentions and encourages students to pursue entrepreneurship as a career path. Furthermore, the mediating roles of self-efficacy and entrepreneurial attitudes are confirmed, providing a clearer explanation of how parenting influences entrepreneurial career decisions. The study contributes theoretically by extending models of entrepreneurial intention with family socialization factors, and practically by offering a tested framework to guide efforts in promoting entrepreneurship among vocational students.

Abstract

Student executive organizations play an important role in developing students’ leadership and professional competencies, yet maintaining motivation within these organizations remains a challenge. This study aims to investigate the motivational dynamics of students in a student executive organization within a vocational school context. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling, data were collected through interview and observation,  and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that self-consistency is the primary intrinsic motivator sustaining students’ engagement, while social support from family and peers serves as a significant external source of motivation; furthermore, motivational stability is maintained through a positive mindset and effective time management. These findings highlight that motivation is shaped by the interaction of internal commitment, social environment, and self-regulation strategies. This study contributes by providing contextual insights into motivational dynamics in vocational student organizations and offering practical implications for enhancing student engagement and organizational performance.

Abstract

Leadership plays a crucial role in determining organizational success, particularly in fostering a supportive and productive work environment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of character-based leadership in enhancing organizational performance within the Business and Partnership Bureau of the Student Executive Board. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to explore leadership practices in context. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that character-based leadership, reflected in openness, motivation, appreciation, communication, and humility, contributes to a collaborative and supportive work environment. These practices enhance member engagement, creativity, and organizational performance, as shown by successful program implementation and business outcomes. This study provides empirical evidence on the importance of character-based leadership in improving student organization performance.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating role of self-efficacy in the relationship between peer tutoring and collaboration skills among Office Management students at SMK Negeri 3 Jakarta. A quantitative explanatory approach with a survey method was applied. The sample consisted of 118 students drawn from a population of 174 through proportional random sampling based on the Krejcie and Morgan table. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS. The results show that peer tutoring has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy (β = 0.793; p = 0.000), peer tutoring has a positive and significant effect on collaboration skills (β = 0.397; p = 0.000), self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on collaboration skills (β = 0.478; p = 0.000), and self-efficacy partially mediates the effect of peer tutoring on collaboration skills (β = 0.379; p = 0.000). The model explains 68.7% of the variance in collaboration skills and 63.0% of the variance in self-efficacy. These findings confirm the importance of strengthening self-efficacy as a psychological bridge that optimizes the effect of peer tutoring on vocational students' collaboration skills. Abstract

Digital technology transformation has changed the learning process across various levels of education. The increasing use of social media as a manifestation of technological advancement has also given rise to technostress as a new challenge, making self-regulation is expected to play a crucial role as an internal capacity in managing these effects. This research was conducted to analyze the mediating role of self-regulation in the relationship between social media overload and technostress among students at SMKN 3 Jakarta. In this quantitative survey, the sample consisted of 118 Office Management students and was selected using the proportionate random sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on the Partial Least Square (PLS) method in SmartPLS 4. The findings indicate that the direct effect of social media overload on technostress was not significant (β = -0,155; p = 0,147). In addition, social media overload on self-regulation (β = -0,309; p = 0,001) and self-regulation on technostress (β = -0,619; p < 0,001) both showed significant negative direct effects. Furthermore, self-regulation was found to fully mediate the relationship between social media overload and technostress (β = 0,191; p = 0,008). These findings indicate that self-regulation transmits the effect of social media overload on technostress, suggesting that the level of self-regulation is a determining factor in technostress levels.

Abstract

The insufficient feedback in business correspondence education at the higher education level necessitates innovation in adaptive and responsive learning resources. This study seeks to create and evaluate the efficacy of an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven correspondence learning assistant (CORLA) to enhance students' correspondence abilities. The study employs a research and development (R&D) methodology by utilizing the Dick and Carey model, which has ten phases of instructional development. The participants in the study were students enrolled in Digital Office Administration Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Data were gathered by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and assessments (pre-test and post-test), and evaluated by three experts in materials, learning design, and media. The findings indicated that CORLA demonstrates a significant degree of feasibility, practicality, and efficacy. CORLA's advanced features encompass AI-driven automatic feedback, letter composition simulation, learning progress monitoring, discussion forums, and an intuitive user interface (UI). This study advances the creation of an effective and practical AI-based learning media model tailored to the requirements of teaching business correspondence abilities in higher education.

Abstract

This community service initiative sought to enhance school leadership and bolster teacher proficiency in executing the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) curriculum via Passion-Based Learning at the Laboratory Elementary School of Universitas Negeri Malang, Blitar. The activity utilized a participative methodology comprising many phases: socialization, training, classroom implementation, mentoring, and assessment. Twenty participants, comprising one principal and nineteen instructors, engaged in the program. Quantitative data were gathered using pre-test and post-test instruments and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon test, whereas qualitative insights were derived from reflection sessions and observations. The results indicated a substantial enhancement in participants' comprehension and abilities, with the average score rising from 68.81 (good) to 90.36 (very good). Participants exhibited enhanced confidence, teamwork, and motivation in implementing Passion-Based Learning within the Merdeka Belajar framework. The program effectively improved instructional leadership, cultivated a passion-driven school culture, and established a sustainable framework for executing meaningful, student-centered learning.
