Abstract

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds at Anggana 1 State Junior High School. The background of this study is based on the importance of transparency and accountability in the use of BOS funds to support school operations and improve the quality of education. The main focus of this study is to examine how the BOS fund management process, from planning to accountability, is implemented at Anggana 1 State Junior High School. To achieve this goal, this study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach. Important steps in this study include collecting primary data through in-depth interviews with the principal, school treasurer, and several other key informants who are directly involved in the management of BOS funds. Secondary data is also collected through a review of related documents. Furthermore, data analysis is carried out comprehensively by focusing on three main aspects of BOS fund management, namely the budget planning stage, the budget implementation or use stage, and the accountability stage for the use of these funds. The results of the study indicate that in general, the management of BOS funds at SMPN 1 Anggana has been carried out in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Permendikbudristek) Number 12 of 2022. One important finding is the implementation of the School Financial Management Application (ATKP) system in the implementation of the use of BOS funds, where no cash payment transactions were found. In addition, the process of accountability for the use of BOS funds has also been carried out optimally by the school. However, this study also identified several obstacles faced, especially related to the delay in the disbursement of BOS funds from the district government. This delay has an impact on the smooth implementation of activities that have been budgeted by the school. The main conclusion of this study is that SMPN 1 Anggana has made efforts to manage BOS funds well and in accordance with regulations, but its effectiveness can be further improved by overcoming external obstacles such as delays in the disbursement of funds. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis mendalam terhadap pengelolaan dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Anggana. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam penggunaan dana BOS untuk mendukung operasional sekolah dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana proses pengelolaan dana BOS, mulai dari perencanaan hingga pertanggungjawaban, dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Anggana. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Langkah-langkah penting dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, bendahara sekolah, serta beberapa informan kunci lainnya yang terlibat langsung dalam pengelolaan dana BOS. Data sekunder juga dikumpulkan melalui telaah dokumen terkait. Selanjutnya, analisis data dilakukan secara komprehensif dengan memfokuskan pada tiga aspek utama pengelolaan dana BOS, yaitu tahap perencanaan anggaran, tahap pelaksanaan atau penggunaan anggaran, dan tahap pertanggungjawaban atas penggunaan dana tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara garis besar, pengelolaan dana BOS di SMPN 1 Anggana telah berjalan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diatur dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Permendikbudristek) Nomor 1 2 Tahun 2022. Salah satu temuan penting adalah implementasi sistem Aplikasi Tata Kelola Keuangan Sekolah (ATKP) dalam pelaksanaan penggunaan dana BOS, di mana tidak ditemukan adanya transaksi pembayaran secara tunai (cash). Selain itu, proses pertanggungjawaban penggunaan dana BOS juga telah dilaksanakan secara maksimal oleh pihak sekolah. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa kendala yang dihadapi, terutama terkait dengan keterlambatan proses pencairan dana BOS dari pihak pemerintah kabupaten. Keterlambatan ini berdampak pada kelancaran pelaksanaan kegiatan-kegiatan yang telah dianggarkan oleh sekolah. Simpulan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa SMPN 1 Anggana telah berupaya mengelola dana BOS dengan baik dan sesuai regulasi, namun efektivitasnya dapat lebih ditingkatkan dengan mengatasi kendala eksternal seperti keterlambatan pencairan dana.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is an essential foundation in facing global challenges, which require educational institutions, including madrasahs, to carry out a comprehensive management transformation. One of the main pillars of this transformation is the adoption of technology through information systems, which are expected to optimize the quality assurance process. This study aims to comprehensively evaluate the implementation of information system-based education management in state madrasahs in East Kalimantan. The main focus of the analysis is directed at the effectiveness of the system in supporting three pillars of management: administration, academic data management, and learning evaluation processes as quality assurance instruments. Through a qualitative approach with an evaluative analysis method, this study in-depth identifies various supporting and inhibiting factors that influence the success of system implementation in the field. The results of the study show dual findings. On the one hand, the implementation of the information system has proven to be successful in bringing significant improvements in terms of time efficiency in the administration process and increasing the transparency of education data. However, on the other hand, the main challenges that are inhibiting are the gap in technological infrastructure between madrasahs and the low level of digital literacy and technical skills of users. Thus, this study concludes that the success of quality assurance is highly dependent on the alignment between technology and human resources, and recommends strategic investment in strengthening digital infrastructure and continuous training programs. ABSTRAKPeningkatan mutu pendidikan merupakan fondasi esensial dalam menghadapi tantangan global, yang menuntut lembaga pendidikan, termasuk madrasah, untuk melakukan transformasi manajemen secara menyeluruh. Salah satu pilar utama transformasi ini adalah adopsi teknologi melalui sistem informasi, yang diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan proses penjaminan mutu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi secara komprehensif implementasi manajemen pendidikan berbasis sistem informasi di lingkungan madrasah negeri di Kalimantan Timur. Fokus utama analisis diarahkan pada efektivitas sistem tersebut dalam mendukung tiga pilar manajemen: administrasi, pengelolaan data akademik, dan proses evaluasi pembelajaran sebagai instrumen penjaminan mutu. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis evaluatif, penelitian ini secara mendalam mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang memengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi sistem di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan ganda. Di satu sisi, penerapan sistem informasi terbukti berhasil membawa perbaikan signifikan dalam hal efisiensi waktu pada proses administrasi serta meningkatkan transparansi data pendidikan. Namun, di sisi lain, tantangan utama yang menjadi penghambat adalah kesenjangan infrastruktur teknologi antar madrasah serta tingkat literasi digital dan keterampilan teknis pengguna yang masih rendah. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan penjaminan mutu sangat bergantung pada keselarasan antara teknologi dan sumber daya manusia, serta merekomendasikan investasi strategis pada penguatan infrastruktur digital dan program pelatihan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Poltekkes Kemenkes East Kalimantan is the only state university in the health sector that has several departments. One of the departments at Poltekkes East Kalimantan is D-III Medical Laboratory Technology (TM). The vision of the TLM department is to become a study program that produces quality D-III TLM personnel, superior in the field of health microbiology, competitive at the national level and with a global perspective. Students' practical abilities are directly proportional to teacher services in classroom practical guidance. Vocational education at Poltekkes focuses on developing practical abilities through a skills-based approach and practices such as health centers, hospitals, laboratories, and clinics. The purpose of the practice is to obtain technical competencies that are relevant to industry needs, especially in the health sector. The purpose of this study was to measure the student satisfaction index towards the practical services of the D-III Medical Laboratory Technology Study Program. This research method is a quantitative approach using a descriptive method with a total sampling of 229 students. The results of the study showed a very satisfactory level of student satisfaction with all aspects with values of 88.21%, 94.32%, 91.27%, 89.52%, 91.79%, 90.74%, 89.69%, 89.52%, 90.22% and 93.54% with an average of 90.88% included in the dangerous category okay. The IKM value obtained was 81.5, which means it has a quality value of "A" or its performance is very good.

Abstract

Manajemen Kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelayanan kepala sekolah telah banyak dikaji dalam berbagai konteks pendidikan, tetapi masih minim penelitian yang membahas implementasinya di sekolah yang berada di lingkungan hutan tropis lembab. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru melalui kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelayanan di sekolah dasar lingkungan hutan tropis lembab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di sekolah dasar yang berada di lingkungan hutan tropis lembab mencakup empat aspek utama. 1) Perencanaan saat memberikan kebebasan guru dalam menyusun strategi pembelajaran, mendukung pengembangan kompetensi melalui pelatihan, serta mempertimbangkan pemanfaatan teknologi dan kondisi alam. 2). Pengorganisasian dalam pembentukan komunitas belajar (kombel) dan kelompok kerja guru (KKG), kolaborasi dengan masyarakat, serta upaya mengatasi keterbatasan fasilitas melalui pengajuan bantuan. 3). Pelaksanaan mencakup penerapan workshop, pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal, pemanfaatan teknologi, serta kebijakan pembelajaran mandiri saat terjadi banjir. 4). Pengawasan dilakukan melalui pemantauan berkelanjutan, evaluasi rutin, motivasi dalam peningkatan kinerja guruTemuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelayanan kepala sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan meningkatkan kinerja guru.

Abstract

Ketidakseimbangan dalam dua ranah peran guru perempuan akan menambah beban pikiran yang berujung pada munculnya konflik peran ganda. Siklus peran ganda yang berulang memberikan perasaan kejenuhan bagi guru perempuan, terlebih bagi guru perempuan yang memiliki beban tanggungan anak dan yang harus mengerjakan sendiri pekerjaan rumah tangganya. Perasaan kejenuhan ini disebut dengan “Burnout Syndrome”. Variasi tekanan yang dialami guru perempuan menumbuhkan sikap Hardiness atau kekuatan dalam dalam diri.Melalui latar belakang tersebut pnelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh konflik peran ganda dan burnout sydrome terhadap kinerja guru perempuan baik secara langsung dan tidak langsung dengan hardines sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei eksplanasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana data yang diperoleh melalui kusioner akan dianalisa menggunakan rumus statistik untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah diuraikan. Tempat penelitian dilakukan pada SMA Negeri di Kawasan pesisir Kabupaten Berau. Pupulasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru perempuan yang mengajar di SMA Negeri di Pesisir Kabupaten Berau yang terdiri dari 9 sekolah berjumlah 143 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling dengan metode Proportionate Random Sampling dan diambil dengan menggunakan rumus Solvin dengan hasil berjumlah 105 Guru perempuan. Alat bantu analisis data menggunakan SPSS dan Kalkulator Sobel untuk menguji variabel intervening. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil konflik peran ganda memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai sig. -0,272 dan Burnout Syndrome juga memberikan pengaruh negatif dengan nilai sig.-0,238. Pada pengaruh tidak langsung yang di uji dengan kalkulator sobel didapatkan hasil bahwa hardines mampu memediasi pengaruh Konflik peran ganda dan Burnout Syndrome terhadap kinerja Guru. Nilai P Value atau Nilai Signifikansi pada konflik peran ganda dan burnout syndrome terhadap kinerja melalui hardiness sebesar 0.040 (Jalur I) dan 0,049

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja satuan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di TK Sabili Bandung dengan menggunakan pendekatan Balanced Scorecard (BSC) sebagai alat ukur kinerja yang komprehensif. BSC digunakan untuk menilai kinerja berdasarkan empat perspektif utama, yaitu perspektif keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, dan pembelajaran serta pertumbuhan. Melalui evaluasi ini, diharapkan dapat mengidentifikasi area-area yang perlu diperbaiki guna meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di TK Sabili. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan BSC mampu memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang kinerja PAUD, sekaligus menjadi dasar strategis dalam perencanaan peningkatan mutu layanan pendidikan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengelola TK Sabili dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja dan mewujudkan visi misi pendidikan berkualitas bagi anak usia dini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the extent to which the implementation of academic supervision by the principal influences the improvement of teacher performance at SMKN 1 Sangatta Utara. Academic supervision is a professional guidance process carried out by the principal to support teachers in improving the quality of learning. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The results of the study indicate a significant positive relationship between the implementation of academic supervision and the improvement of teacher performance, especially in the aspects of planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. This finding confirms the importance of the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of education in vocational schools. The study's findings underscore the critical role of principals in fostering a supportive environment for teacher growth and development. By effectively implementing academic supervision, principals can provide targeted feedback and guidance to teachers, helping them refine their instructional practices and enhance student learning outcomes. Future research could explore specific strategies and best practices for principals to maximize the impact of academic supervision on teacher performance in vocational education settings.

Abstract

The principal must have good management skills in improving teacher performance. This study aims to describe the planning, organizing, implementing and supervising carried out by the principal to improve teacher performance at the Islamic Center Elementary School in Samarinda. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with data validity tested through triangulation of sources and methods. The research findings reveal that 1) Principal  planning through comprehensive identification of teacher professional development needs, designing relevant ongoing training programs, providing resources and infrastructure that support learning innovation, and formulating measurable performance targets and transparent evaluation systems 2) Organizing principal  must be reflected through the application of collaborative management principles, including clear and accountable division of tasks, the formation of competent supervisory and mentor teams, and facilitating effective communication and synergistic collaboration between teachers, 3) The implementation of principal  is implemented through the provision of training, application workshops, and the adoption of innovative technology-based learning models to spur teacher creativity and mastery of technology, 4) Supervision of principal  is carried out through clinical supervision that focuses on development, formative evaluation of teacher performance, constructive follow-up of evaluation results, and ongoing individual coaching programs. Comprehensively, principal leadership management to improve teacher performance through training has been implemented effectively and consistently with the principles of modern education management. This study provides practical implications for the development of an effective principal leadership model in improving the quality of education at the elementary school level.

Effective leadership plays a crucial role in determining the sustainability of community empowerment initiatives in educational advancement, yet the relationship between leadership styles and long-term program sustainability in learning centers remains underexplored. This systematic literature review aims to examine the relationship between leadership styles and sustainability of community empowerment initiatives for educational advancement in learning centers, identify contributing factors to program sustainability, and analyze how contextual characteristics moderate leadership effectiveness. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this review analyzed 24 studies published between 2008-2025 retrieved from Scopus database. Articles were systematically screened using predetermined inclusion criteria focusing on leadership styles, community empowerment, and educational contexts. Data extraction covered bibliographic information, methodological characteristics, contextual factors, and key findings. Thematic analysis was conducted to synthesize findings across studies. Transformational leadership emerged as the most effective style for promoting sustainable community empowerment, demonstrated through enhanced vision creation, stakeholder engagement, and distributed leadership practices. Authentic leadership development programs showed significant impact on breaking barriers and creating sustainable empowerment opportunities. Key sustainability factors include gender-inclusive approaches, community coalition building, empowering supervision mechanisms, and systematic quality management. Contextual moderators such as cultural background, institutional size, resource availability, and program orientation significantly influence leadership effectiveness. Technology-mediated leadership approaches show promise for extending reach and impact of empowerment initiatives. Sustainable community empowerment requires integrated leadership models combining transformational, authentic, and distributed approaches with systematic attention to contextual factors. Success depends on both individual leadership capabilities and supportive organizational systems that facilitate collaboration, inclusion, and quality management. Future research should prioritize longitudinal studies, cross-cultural comparisons, and technology-mediated leadership development.

Abstract

This study examines the development of effective leadership models for promoting educational equity in tahfidz boarding schools serving underprivileged communities. Using a Literature Systematic Review (LSR) methodology, this research analyzed 92 peer-reviewed articles from 2021-2025 to identify key leadership competencies, organizational structures, and management practices that enable Islamic educational institutions to deliver equitable education while maintaining religious authenticity. Five research questions guided the investigation, focusing on leadership characteristics, Islamic-modern integration, organizational effectiveness, student challenges, and comprehensive managerial models. The findings reveal five core leadership competencies: transformational leadership, instructional leadership, cultural competency, moral integrity, and adaptive innovation capacity. The study identifies effective integration mechanisms between Islamic principles and contemporary management practices, including values-based systems, community-centered governance, and holistic development frameworks. Key organizational structures include distributed leadership, community-based governance, integrated support services, and flexible financial management systems. The research addresses primary challenges facing underprivileged students, including academic preparation disparities, socioeconomic stress, cultural adjustment issues, mental health concerns, and career preparation needs. Based on these findings, the study proposes the Integrated Islamic Educational Leadership (IIEL) Model, consisting of five interconnected components that provide a comprehensive framework for establishing and sustaining equitable tahfidz boarding schools. This model offers practical guidance for educational leaders, policymakers, and community stakeholders seeking to develop Islamic educational institutions that effectively serve underprivileged populations while maintaining educational excellence and spiritual authenticity.
