Abstract

AbstrakStudents’ attention to learning activity is important because it can affect their learning achievement. Using audio-visual media is one solution and good strategy to increase their attention to the instruction because it can make the learning more varied and enjoyable. This study discusses increasing students' attention towards learning through classical guidance using audio-visual media in class X students of SMAN 4 Pontianak. Specifically, this research presents a discussion regarding how was students' attention to learning activity before using audio-visual media, how planning and implementing classical guidance was conducted, and how improvement was achieved after classical guidance using audiovisual media was implemented. 22 students participated as subjects in this study. The method used in this study was descriptive in the form of guidance and counseling action research. The research data was taken using observation and interviews. The findings showed an increase in student attention in learning by 78.2% with a high category after the selected media was applied. Keywords: Students' Attention,  Audio-Visual Media, Classical Guidance

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to identify and alleviate the case of students who behave hyperactively at State Senior High School 1 Sungai Raya. Case Subjects in this study were students of class XI who experienced hyperactive behavior with 2 case subjects. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods in the form of case study research. This study uses interview data collection tools and home visits. From the results of this study, the characteristics of students who behaved hyperactively experienced by the subject of case I were not focused, liked to say rude things, did not want to give in, often made their own decisions. While the characteristics experienced by the subject of case II are often disturbing friends, making chaos during the learning process, leaving class, getting angry easily. The factors that cause students to behave hyperactively are (1) Family, (2) Loneliness, (3) Less interest in learning. To overcome the problems experienced by the subject of case I used a Behavioral model approach with Assertive Exercise Techniques and Positive Reinforcement, and for Subject II used a Behavioral model approach with Response Formation and Pilot Techniques. The role of the counseling guidance teacher is to monitor the development of students by collaborating with subject teachers and parents.Keywords: Behavioral Counseling, Hyperactive Behavior

Abstract

                       AbstractThis study aimed to determine the implementation of individual counseling at SMPN 9 Pontianak due to the unsuccessful resolution of counselees’ problems. Descriptive research with qualitative method was employed in this study. Interview, observation, and documentation were used as the data collection technique. The subjects in the study were the counseling teacher and 3 students. The findings showed that the indicators such as rapport, problem representation, problem interpretation, contract negotiation, exploration of the problem, revaluation, good relation maintenance, conclusion making, action planning, action plan evaluation, and meeting continuation have not been implemented completely. The indicators that have not been implemented were (1) Difficulty in building good relations with all counselees, (2) the counselees engagements were low in the activity, (3) the counselor did not regulate the time contract in activities, (4) the counselor did not pursue the development of potential and empathy in the exploration of the problem, and (5) ineffective counseling activities due to the lack of meeting continuation. Accordingly, the teacher is demanded to build better communication with the counselees, offer better understanding regarding individual counseling activities, make the time contract, and attempt to explore the counselees' potentials. Keywords: Individual counseling implementation, Individual counseling.

Abstract

AbstractThe first education that children receive in their lives comes from their family, particularly their parents, and might take the shape of parenting, attitudes, or conduct demonstrated by parents toward their children in daily life. The researcher is looking into the Parenting Pattern for Class XI Students at Taman Mulia Sungai Raya Private High School in this case. The purpose of this study is to examine the parenting patterns of Taman Mulia Sungai Raya Private High School's class IX students. The research method is descriptive and quantitative, with a survey as the research form. This survey included 56 pupils from Taman Mulia Sungai Raya Private High School. Indirect communication approaches and data collection instruments including questionnaires were employed to obtain data. The % formula is used in the data analysis technique. According to the findings of this study, the overall Parenting Pattern achieves a percentage of 81 percent, placing it in the "High" category, parental control reaches a percentage of 85 percent, and parental behavior demands reach a percentage of 78 percent in the "High" category, In the "High" category, communication between parents and children received 79 percent of the vote, and parenting practices for children received 83 percent.Keywords: Parenting, Parents, and Students.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out more in depth about the relationship between career information services with the understanding of career learners. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach, namely problem-solving procedure by describing the relationship of career information service with career understanding by means of statistics and described descriptively. The sample of this study amounted to 57 students of class XI. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques and documentary/bibliographic study techniques. The data collection tools used were questionnaires and student documents. Data analysis technique used to answer sub problem one and two is percentage, while to answer sub problem three using product moment correlation. The result of data analysis shows that career information service on class XI students reach 73,39%. The achievement is in the good range. Meanwhile, the understanding of career of class XI students reached 78.01% which is in the good range. The result of product moment correlation of both variables is obtained rhitung = 0.387 which means show that there is a positive correlation between career information service with understanding of career of class XI student of State Senior High School 4 Pontianak.Keywords: Career Information Service, Understanding of Career

Abstract

AbstractResearchers want to know the implementation of group guidance about student confidence. The research problem is "how is the group guidance about the confidence of students in class X SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak". The purpose of the study was to obtain information and clarity and describe group guidance about the confidence of students in class X SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Method used was descriptive quantitative approach in form survey. Population research was 24 students and 1 counselor. Data collection technique used was indirect communication of questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis technique used was percentage. Overall the implementation of group guidance on student confidence gained 54% category quite well. Characteristics of self-confidence of class X students SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak medium category, the results obtained are 40% medium category. The stage of forming a group guidance service on the students' confidence gained 51% quite good category. The transition phase of group guidance services on student confidence gained 63%, quite good category. The stage of group guidance service activities about the confidence of students gained 59% quite good category. The termination stage of group guidance services on the confidence of students gained 60% quite good category.Keywords: Group Guidance, Confidence

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe and find out about the Characteristics, Factors that cause smoking, and any Impact that arises on FKIP UNTAN Pontianak students in the academic year 2019/2020. This research method is a descriptive method with a form of survey research. The population in this study is an active student of FKIP UNTAN Pontianak academic year 2019/2020 class 2017 which is a total of 69 male students. This study uses a quantitative approach with indirect communication data collection techniques, and the data collection tools used are questionnaires. Based on the results of this study shows that the factors that cause smoking in FKIP UNTAN Pontianak students in the academic year 2019/2020 are in the category "High enough". (1) Characteristics of student smokers with the highest percentage of clothing and mouth smelling of 83.47%, teeth and fingers yellowing 76.66%, loss of eye clarity 66.08%, appearance of wrinkles on the forehead, tip of the lips and under the eyes 65.7 %, obtained the overall result of 72.93% with the category "High enough". (2) Internal factors that cause smoking in students with the highest percentage of addiction and addiction 80.09%, reactions to emotional decline 74.46%, positive emotional reactions 73.14%, social reasons 62.99%, obtained overall results namely 73.27% with the category "Highly High". (3) External factors that cause smoking in students with the highest percentage of peer influence 71.81%, social environment 67.18%, parental influence 58.16%, obtained overall results of 66.56% with the category "High enough" , (4) The negative impact and danger of smoking felt by students with the highest percentage is the negative impact of smoking in terms of health 70.14%, the danger of smoking in the social, economic and environmental fields 69.44% obtained overall results of 69.79% with category Ckup Tinggi ”. Based on the above description, it can be generally known that the factors that cause smoking in FKIP UNTAN Pontianak students in the academic year 2019/2020, overall obtained 70.67% with the category "High enough". Abstract

ABSTRAKKonsep pendidikan progresivisme sangat menekankan pembelajaran yang bersifat suportif bagi siswa, dengan pemecahan masalah, pengalaman langsung, dan eksplorasi menjadi pilar utama proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari esai ini adalah untuk menguji penerapan dan relevansi pendekatan progresivisme terhadap pendidikan di abad kedua puluh satu, dengan penekanan pada pengembangan kemampuan penting termasuk literasi teknis, kerja sama tim, kreativitas, dan berpikir kritis. Pendekatan penelitian ini memanfaatkan tinjauan literatur dan analisis isi beberapa model pendidikan progresif yang telah digunakan di negara-negara industri. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode progresivisme berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan abad 21 dengan melibatkan siswa dalam pengambilan keputusan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Bagian ini juga membahas kesulitan dan hambatan dalam menerapkan strategi ini di negara-negara maju.Kata Kunci: Filsafat pendidikan, progresivisme, keterampilan abad 21ABSTRACTThe educational concept of progressivism places a strong emphasis on learning that is supportive of students, with problem solving, direct experience, and exploration serving as the main pillars of the learning process. The purpose of this essay is to examine the applicability and relevance of the progressivism approach to education in the twenty-first century, with an emphasis on the development of crucial abilities including technical literacy, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking. This research approach makes use of a review of the literature and a content analysis of several progressive education models that have been used in industrialized nations. The findings of the study demonstrate that the progressivism method can successfully enhance 21st century abilities by involving students in decision-making and implementing project-based learning. Abstract

ABSTRAKArtificial Intelligence (AI) memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap pendidikan, terutama dalam konteks filsafat ilmu  pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dampak AI terhadap pemahaman mahasiswa teknologi pendidikan mengenai epistemologi, ontologi, dan aksiologi pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain survei yang melibatkan 30 Guru dari berbagai Jenjang  di Kalimatan Barat.  Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa AI memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pemahaman epistemologis (p < 0,05), di mana 65% responden merasa AI membantu mereka mengakses pengetahuan dengan lebih efisien. Secara ontologis, 50% responden menganggap AI mengubah peran pengajar menjadi fasilitator, sementara 40% merasa bahwa AI dapat mengurangi interaksi langsung antara pengajar dan siswa. Dari perspektif aksiologi, terdapat kekhawatiran tentang etika penggunaan AI, dengan 55% responden mempertanyakan bagaimana AI mempengaruhi nilai-nilai sosial dalam pendidikan. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pengintegrasian perspektif etis dan filosofis dalam pengembangan AI di bidang pendidikan, guna memastikan bahwa teknologi ini mendukung tujuan pendidikan yang holistik dan humanistik.Kata Kunci: Artificial Intellogence, Filsafat Ilmu PendidikanABSTRACTArtificial Intelligence (AI) has a significant impact on education, especially in the context of the philosophy of educationscience. This study aims to measure the impact of AI on educational technology students' understanding of the epistemology, ontology, and axiology of education. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a survey design involving 30 teachers from various levels in West Kalimantan. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression tests with the help of SPSS software. The results of the statistical test showed that AI had a significant positive effect on epistemological understanding (p <0.05), where 65% of respondents felt that AI helped them access knowledge more efficiently. Ontologically, 50% of respondents considered that AI changed the role of teachers to facilitators, while 40% felt that AI could reduce direct interaction between teachers and students. From an axiological perspective, there are concerns about the ethics of using AI, with 55% of respondents questioning how AI affects social values in education. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating ethical and philosophical perspectives in the development of AI in education, to ensure that this technology supports holistic and humanistic educational goals.Keywords:  Artificial Intelligence (AI), philosophy of education

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian untuk mengeksplanasi pengaruh  program wisata literasi nasional dan pembuatan buku antologi guru terhadap budaya literasi SD di Kecamatan Kota Kabupaten Sintang. Bentuk penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 5A SD.. Teknik pengumpulan data random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data Angket Kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda, untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari 3 variabel secara bersama-sama dengan bantuan SPSS versi 29. Hasil penelitian  (1)Terdapat hubungan dari program wisata literasi terhadap budaya literasi sekolah hasil sign. 0,110 < 0,05 pearson correlation yaitu 0,227.(2) Terdapat hubungan  pembuatan buku antologi guru  terhadap budaya literasi sekolah, nilai sig. 0,158 < 0,05 dan pearson correlation 0,201. (3) Terdapat hubungan program wisata literasi nasional dan pembuatan buku antologi guru secara bersama – sama terhadap budaya literasi sekolah,   nilai sign. 0,113 < 0,05 dan pearson correlation yaitu 0,225.Kata Kunci: Wisata Literasi Nasional,  Buku Antologi Guru, Budaya LiterasiABSTRACTThe aim of the research is to explain the influence of the national literacy tourism program and the creation of teacher anthology books on elementary school literacy culture in Kota Subdistrict, Sintang Regency. Quantitative form of research. The sample in this study was class 5A elementary school students. Random sampling data collection technique. Questionnaire data collection method that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression, to determine the influence of 3 variables together with the help of SPSS version 29. Research results (1) There is a relationship between the literacy tourism program and school literacy culture with significant results. 0.110 < 0.05 Pearson correlation, namely 0.227. (2) There is a relationship between making teacher anthology books and school literacy culture, sig. 0.158 < 0.05 and Pearson correlation 0.201.
