Abstract

The goal of this study is to describe the issues that students face when trying to plan their careers, both in school and at work. This study is field research, which means that several high school kids were watched and talked to. The study's results showed that most students had trouble planning their careers because they didn't believe in their own skills and had trouble coming up with ideas or ways to solve problems. Problems: not enough self-confidence, hard to be focused, and hard to take the lead. They don't know much about jobs and have a hard time getting information about jobs after they finish school. Lack of conversation experience, which makes it seem like job talks will be hard, and lack of foreign language skills. It's hard to come up with a list of things that can help with preparing a job. It's hard to get projects done on time, and it's hard for students to do jobs that need good results.

Abstract

Background. Religious science education often faces challenges in conveying complex theological concepts to students in a way that is engaging and easily understood. Traditional teaching methods may struggle to capture abstract or difficult ideas, resulting in a disconnect between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding. Recent advancements in technology, particularly virtual reality (VR), offer innovative solutions to enhance learning experiences in this field. Virtual reality has the potential to immerse students in interactive, three-dimensional environments, allowing them to explore theological ideas more deeply. Purpose. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of incorporating virtual reality into religious science education to teach complex theological concepts. Method. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining qualitative interviews with students and educators, along with a quantitative assessment of student performance before and after VR integration. The study was conducted at three religious institutions where VR modules were introduced in the curriculum to teach topics such as creation, eschatology, and religious symbolism. Results. Results indicate that students demonstrated a significant improvement in understanding and retaining complex theological concepts when virtual reality was incorporated into the learning process. The immersive nature of VR allowed students to engage with the material more deeply, leading to greater comprehension and participation. Additionally, educators reported that VR enhanced the overall classroom experience by making abstract concepts more accessible.. Conclusion. In conclusion, virtual reality presents a promising tool for religious science education, providing an innovative approach to teaching complex theological ideas. Future research should explore long-term impacts and scalability of VR in religious education.

Abstract

The development of communication technology is accelerating. Whatever happens in Indonesia can easily be sent through the Internet network. Social media is a communication and marketing tool where people can share their thoughts, ideas and experiences with others. It is a form of electronic media that allows people to create content and share it with the public. Social media has many positive and negative effects on society. If people do not use social media wisely and it goes viral, it can lead to unwanted conflicts. One of them is the religious conflict that is currently widespread, thus becoming a real threat to the Indonesian nation. The threat is not only in the real world, but also in cyberspace. Many people are indirectly uploading what is on their minds to social media, which can cause others to be offended. This is the beginning of religious conflict on social media. This is where the role of the government as well as the community is to understand that we live together in differences of ethnicity, religion and language. The role of the government can also be to firmly control the application of press laws and journalistic ethics. In addition, the role of the community is also important, namely by not being easily provoked by media coverage that is not balanced and seems to favor one particular group.

Abstract

This research aims to identify problems in the implementation of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage related to Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 1991 which regulates the dissemination of the Compilation of Islamic Law as a juridical basis. Although the Marriage Act of 1974 regulates various aspects of marriage in general, it does not explicitly regulate, legalize, or prohibit interfaith marriage. This raises the need for further elaboration in order to cover all religions regulated by the state. The birth of Presidential Instruction No. 1 of 1991, which aims to disseminate the Compilation of Islamic Law, faces challenges in implementation due to its lower position in the legal hierarchy compared to the Marriage Law. Therefore, even though this Presidential Instruction provides additional guidance, marriage issues must still refer to higher and more general rules. This research will explore how the integration of these two regulations can be done to create a consistent and fair legal system.
