Abstract

Karakter santri dipandang cukup berbeda dengan masyarakat non-santri dalam kehidupan mereka masing-masing, meskipun demikian, problematika yang mengikat antara lembaga pendidikan pesantren dan non-pesantren mempunyai kendala dan faktor pendukungnya sendiri-sendiri dalam meningkatkan karakter peserta didiknya. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsep dan implementasi peingkatan karakter santri melalui sistem pendidikan pesantren yang ada di pesantren kota Alif Laam Miim Surabaya serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya dengan obyek penelitian di pesantren kota Alif Laam Miim surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan tektik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitaian ini adalah; pertama, karakter santri yang ditingkatkan di Pondok Pesantren Kota Alif Laam Miim Surabaya melalui pendekatan klasikal maupun individual, pembiasaan, peneladanan, penanaman, kesadaran, dan pelajaran tambahan tentang akhlak; kedua, sistem pendidikan di pondok pesantren Kota Alim Lam Miim Surabaya meliputi: manajemen, tujuan, kurikulum, proses belajar mengajar pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how Sipakalebbi serves as an intercultural communication model in fostering cultural acculturation between the Bugis and Konjo ethnic communities. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing intercultural communication perspectives. Data collection methods include observation and in-depth interviews. The data processing and analysis techniques involve three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that the Bugis and Konjo ethnic communities build their relationships with a high level of Sipakalebbi attitude in fostering cultural acculturation. This intercultural communication model of Sipakalebbi is supported by a strong sense of kinship between the two ethnic groups. Driven by three local principles, namely sipakatau (mutual respect), siammasei (mutual love), and siasseajingeng (brotherhood), it can be ensured that the Bugis and Konjo ethnic communities will not encounter difficulties or obstacles in fostering cultural acculturation between them.

Abstract

Public ignorance about education in reading and writing the Al-Quran, is characterized by the number of teachers being disproportionate to the number of students learning to read and write the Al-Quran at the Al-Ikhlas Pakalongan Sampang prayer room, resulting in learning outcomes not meeting expectations. Teacher assistance measures students' understanding of reading and writing the Koran, including verses, pronunciation, rhythm, and correct recitation rules. With the ABCD (Asset Based Community Driven Development) approach, this very effective learning to read the Al-Qur'an is carried out through repetition, question and answer methods, deepening the material, and writing, which aims to truly empower the ability to read the Al-Qur'an students optimally. The Al-Ikhlas prayer room educates many elementary school children. This assistance is intended to assess the extent of the ability to read the Koran at the Al-Ikhlas Pakalongan Sampang Prayer Room, using the Qiroati method, where children know and understand how to read the Koran correctly with tartil rhythm. The Qiroati method plays a very important role in learning to read and write the Koran at the Al-Ikhlas prayer room, Pakalongan. The results of this assistance show that children are enthusiastic about participating in learning using the Qiroati method so that children are able to read the Koran fluently according to correct recitation rules and knowledge.

Abstract

Muara Gembong is the most remote coastal area in Bekasi Regency, West Java. This location causes the learning process carried out by teachers to be conventional, both in the use of learning media, methods, and presentation of modules as teaching materials.  The purpose of this community service (PkM) is to increase participants' knowledge and skills in designing learning tools using Gemini AI, Canva, and Quizziz applications. The training method used is a training method with lecture, participatory and simulation learning techniques. After the training activities, participants filled out an evaluation questionnaire to assess the implementation of training activities. The results of the PkM achieved were an increase in the aspects of (1) the knowledge of teachers at Madinatul Ilmi Islamic Junior High School in making learning tools increased, indicated by a gain value of 0.32 with a percentage of 55% obtained from the pre-test and post-test results (2) The training activities of mentoring the development of technology-based learning tools for teachers at Madinatul Ilmi Muara Gembong Junior High School have a positive effect as evidenced by the teachers being able to understand how to develop more interesting and creative learning tools. The long-term target is to provide convenience for the development of teaching materials and support the improvement of the quality of education in Muara Gembong District. Keywords: learning tools, technology media, application Abstrak Muara Gembong merupakan wilayah pesisir paling ujung di Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawab Barat. Lokasi ini menyebabkan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru-guru masih konvensional, baik dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran, metode, dan penyajian modul sebagai bahan ajar.  Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mendesain perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi Gemini AI, Canva, dan Quizziz. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah metode pelatihan dengan teknik pembelajaran ceramah, partisipatif dan simulasi. Setelah kegiatan pelatihan peserta mengisi kuesioner evaluasi untuk menilai penyelenggaraan kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil PkM yang dicapai adalah peningkatan dalam aspek (1) pengetahuan para guru di SMP Islam Madinatul Ilmi dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran meningkat, ditunjukkan nilai gain 0,32 dengan persentase 55% yang diperoleh dari hasil pre test dan post test (2) Kegiatan pelatihan pendampingan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis media teknologi pada guru di SMP Madinatul Ilmi Muara Gembong berpengaruh positif dibuktikan dengan para guru bisa memahami cara mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan kreatif. Target jangka panjang adalah memberikan kemudahan untuk pengembangan bahan ajar dan mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Kecamatan Muara Gembong. Abstract

Microteaching is a learning method that aims to train teaching skills on a small scale, where students can hone their communication skills, classroom management, and develop teaching materials effectively. This research aims to examine the application of microteaching in learning the professional code of ethics for public relations among students at Sunan Giri University, Surabaya. The code of ethics for the public relations profession is an important aspect in shaping the professionalism of students who will later enter the world of the public relations industry. Microteaching, as a teaching method that focuses on developing teaching skills in a short time, is expected to increase students' understanding and ability to apply the principles of the code of ethics in professional practice. This research was conducted using kualitative approach to measure the effectiveness of microteaching in improving students' knowledge, skills and attitudes towards the public relations professional code of ethics. The research results show that microteaching can increase students' understanding of the importance of professional codes of ethics, improve their communication skills, and strengthen professionalism in public relations practice. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that microteaching is an effective method for introducing and deepening students' understanding of the public relations professional code of ethics

Abstract

Based on data from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency in February 2023, the number of unemployed in Indonesia reached 7.99 million with the number of unemployed in Indonesia according to vocational school education level being 2.07 million people. This is contrary to the aim of Vocational Schools to increase community participation rates in education. Vocational School graduates should be able to build their own businesses to reduce the number of unemployed in Indonesia and the number of unemployed Vocational School graduates. Based on the title of this research, a suitable research method is an associative quantitative method with survey techniques and descriptive explanation. This research has two variables which are the object of research, where Creative Project Subjects and Entrepreneurship are the independent variables (X) while the dependent variable is Student Entrepreneurial Interest (Y). This research aims to determine the relationship between PKK subjects and interest in entrepreneurship among students majoring in Culinary at SMKN 33 Jakarta. The results of the hypothesis test show that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the PKK subject and Culinary students' interest in entrepreneurship. The correlation coefficient (r) value shows positive and significant results, the higher the PKK subject score, the higher the interest in entrepreneurship for Culinary students. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that the creative and entrepreneurship project subjects in this research show an important role in building the interest and courage of students majoring in culinary arts at SMKN 33 Jakarta to become entrepreneurs, as well as maximizing students' entrepreneurial skills and knowledge.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan kebangsaan siswa Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) melalui pelatihan Tari Dongklak, tari tradisional Indonesia. Anak-anak di SIKL menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan identitas budaya Indonesia di tengah dominasi budaya asing. Pelatihan ini mencakup pre-test untuk mengukur pemahaman awal siswa, sesi ceramah tentang nilai-nilai kebangsaan, demonstrasi Tari Dongklak, latihan rutin, pementasan di hadapan orang tua siswa dan post-test. Penilaian efektivitas program dilakukan melalui uji T berpasangan untuk menguji hipotesis tentang perbedaan skor pre-test dan post-test.Hasil analisis menunjukkan rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 53,5 meningkat menjadi 78,14 pada post-test II, dengan selisih rata-rata 20,14. Uji T menghasilkan nilai t sebesar 6,92 dan signifikansi p = 0,000, yang berarti p < 0,05. Oleh karena itu, H₀ ditolak, menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara skor pre-test dan post-test.Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan Tari Dongklak secara signifikan meningkatkan wawasan kebangsaan siswa. Pendekatan komprehensif yang melibatkan pengenalan sejarah, demonstrasi, latihan rutin, dan refleksi efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan pada siswa. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan Tari Dongklak terbukti sebagai media yang potensial dalam melestarikan budaya Indonesia sekaligus memperkuat identitas nasional generasi muda, terutama di lingkungan internasional. Program ini diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan variasi pendekatan untuk meningkatkan hasil yang lebih maksimal.

Abstract

Minyak biji jintan hitam (MBJH) memiliki aktivitas farmakologi sebagai anti-trombositopenia. Pada penelitian sebelumnya telah berhasil dikembangkan sediaan likuid SNEDDS (Self Nanoemulsion Drug Delivery System) MBJH, namun SNEDDS MBJH masih memiliki kekurangan yaitu komponen berinteraksi dengan soft capsule. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan formulasi dan karakterisasi  S-SNEDDS MBJH dengan pengering aerosil dan krospovidon. Metode yang digunakan untuk memformulasi SNEDDS MBJH menjadi S-SNEDDS MBJH adalah adsorbtion to solid carrier dengan pengering aerosil dan krospovidon dan dikarakterisasi dengan parameter kejernihan, waktu emulsifikasi, sifat alir, bulk density, tapped density, dan uji stress. Diperoleh formulasi S-SNEDDS MBJH berupa 0,4 g aerosil sebagai pengering tiap mL SNEDDS, dan bila menggunakan krospovidon 0,7 g tiap mL SNEDDS.  Persen transmittan S-SNEDDS MBJH dengan aerosil adalah 99,72 ± 0,62 % sedangkan dengan krospovidon adalah 95,51 ± 0,62%. Waktu emulsifikasi S-SNEDDS aerosil adalah 15 ± 0,28 detik dan S-SNEDDS krospovidon adalah 6,26 ± 0,28 detik. Density bulk dan tapped density S-SNEDDS aerosil berturut-turut adalah 0,50 ± 0,05 dan 51,34 ± 2,08o , sedangkan S-SNEDDS krospovidon berturut-turut adalah 0,34 ± 0,00 dan 0,38 ± 0,00. S-SNEDDS MBJH dengan pengering aerosil memberikan granul dengan karakter yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan S-SNEDDS MBJH dengan pengering krospovidon. Abstract

AbstractAt SD Muhammadiyah 24 there are symptoms that students feel bored with teachers when they explain lesson material using the lecture method. This is because if the lecture method is used continuously, students will become bored and not focus on the lesson material. However, if the lecture method is alternated with the use of audio-visual media such as flipbooks and PowerPoint, students will be more focused in the learning process because it is fun and they will not feel bored. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya. Research subjects included school principals, teachers and students. Observations were carried out at the site to get a real picture of how to optimize PAI learning through creative design of learning media. Comprehensive interviews were conducted to find out the problems and solutions used. Based on the results of interviews with teachers, cooperative learning makes it easier for students to receive information from their classmates or other friends because they are not embarrassed or reluctant to ask questions. Based on the results of the author's interviews with teachers, the learning media implemented at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya uses types of learning media such as PowerPoint and flipbooks. The final result is that optimizing PAI learning can be achieved through cooperative learning and the use of interactive teaching methods based on lecture, PowerPoint and flipbook learning media. These strategies can improve students' understanding, social skills, collaboration and self-confidence. Teachers must be creative and innovative in using learning media to actively involve students in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of products in the form of digital flipbook learning media for making chiffon cake. This media was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) model with the ASSURE development method by Heinich Heinich, Molenda, Russell, and Smaldino. The stages of this research consist of Analyze learner characteristics, State objectives, Select, or modify design media, Utilize media, Requires learner response and Evaluate. The resulting media consists of 3 parts, namely the introduction, core and closing parts. The teaching media was validated by expert examiners with a score of 98% for material aspects, 95% for media aspects and 97% for language aspects. The results of the one to one test assessment response by learners were 92%, the small group test was 93% and the field testing test was 92%. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the development of a digital flipbook for making chiffon cake is categorized as very feasible to use as media in the subject of Indonesian Cake and Cake Products at SMK Negeri 70 Jakarta.
