Abstract

Pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) tidak semata-mata diadakan hanya untuk memenuhi persyaratan kelulusan pada perguruan tinggi. Pelaksanaan KKN ditujukan untuk menumbuhkan kecakapan dan keterampilan Mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan berbagai problematika yang terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat melalui beberapa program kerja yang direncanakan, salah satunya yaitu penanaman dan pembagian bibit buah gratis kepada masyarakat desa untuk membantu permasalahan cuaca yang kian memanas dan membuat penghijauan dilingkungan setempat, serta menambah pemasukan masyarakat melalui buah yang dihasilkan oleh bibit yang ditanam. Desa Kuripan Timur merupakan desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Kuripan, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Desa Kuripan Timur memiliki luas sekitar dan terdiri dari empat dusun. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah seluruh masyarakat desa Kuripan Timur. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu, tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penanaman dan pembagian bibit dilakukan selama 3 hari. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu sebanyak 2.000 bibit buah berhasil dibagikan kepada seluruh masyarakat desa Kuripan Timur dan 20 bibit juga berhasil ditanam pada bagian depan green house milik desa. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan permasalahan yang dialami oleh masyarakat desa mengenai udara dan cuaca yang kian memanas dapat teratasi dengan baik, serta lingkungan hidup sekitar dapat tertata dengan baik pula.

Abstract

The purposes of this program are (1) to motivate student becoming entrepeneurs at the Javanesse wedding traditional ceremony package, (2) to increase the students’ entrepeneurship knowledge at the Javanesse wedding traditional ceremony, (3) to create connection between higher education, especially Javanesse Study Program of the Yogyakarta State Universty, and business partners of the Javanesse wedding traditional ceremony package, and (4) to increase the students’ and the lectures’ capabilities, skills, and practical experiences at  conducting of the Javanesse wedding traditional ceremony package. This  program  has  carried  out  at  three  stages,  those  are  (1)  an upgrading of the development of Javanesse wedding tradisional ceremony package, including MC materials, Javanesse speakers, the Javanesse cultural knowlege, the experiences of conducting wedding package, discussion and practice  of  determining  of the  package  and  suplying  clothing,  and  the knowladge of the entrepreneurship and business operational, (2) conducting of the training at Griya Rias Wijayaningtyas, and (3) work shop of structuring the wedding business plan and simulation of wedding ceremony pakcage. The result of this program are (1) all of the participants have motivation  to  wrestle  with  the  entrepreneurs of the  Javanesse  wedding package ompletely or partial, and as an individually or agroup, (2) all of the participants have busness operational plans at the Javanesse wedding package, (3) there is a conection between higher education, especially Javanesse Study Program of Yogyakarta State  University,  and  business partners of the Javanesse wedding traditional ceremony package, and (4) the participants of the  students and  the  lectures have  improved their skills, especially in practical skill of the Javanesse wedding ceremony

Abstract

Tujuan utama kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengembangkan dan menerapkan bahasa Jawa bahasa Jawa, idiom-idiom bahasa Jawa, dan seni budaya Jawa guna memenuhi kebutuhan penyuluhan pembangun para juru penerang di DIYOleh karena bentuk kegiatannya berupa pelatihan dan lokakarya keterampilan berbahasa, maka metode yang dig adalah ceramah, diskusi, laboratori, dan praktik lapangan.Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah khalayak sasaran telah meningkat kemampuan berbaha untuk komunikasi Iisan. Peserta telah dapat menyusun naskah penyuluhan pembangunan dalam bahasa Jawa. Peser dapat mengembangkandan menerapkanragam bahasa Jawa, yaitu ragam bahasa krama alus. Peserta telah dapat mengemb dan menerapkan idiom-idiom bahasa Jawa yang berfungsi sebagai penjelas, alat pendidikan, dan pengawas norma masyarakat agar selalu dipatuhi. Peserta telah dapat mengembangkan unsur seni dan budaya Jawa untuk men penyuluhan pembangunan, dengan menggunakan karya sastra dan budaya Jawa sebagai sumber nilai dan hiburan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Drill learning method assisted by puzzle media on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade III students of SD No. 21 Bulukunyi, Takalar Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design type, involving two groups, namely class IIIA as the experimental class and class IIIB as the control class. The research instruments were in the form of learning outcome tests and checklists, which had gone through validity and reliability tests. Data analysis used an independent sample t-test to ensure that the data was normal and homogeneous. The results of the study showed that the application of the Drill learning method assisted by puzzle media had a significant effect on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. Thus, the drill method assisted by puzzle media can be an effective, innovative method to improve mathematics learning outcomes, especially in building concrete conceptual understanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian kurikulum matematika di Indonesia dengan tuntutan kompetensi abad ke-21, yang mencakup keterampilan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan kreativitas. Kajian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur terhadap berbagai dokumen kebijakan kurikulum, artikel ilmiah, dan laporan hasil implementasi Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kurikulum secara konseptual telah mengakomodasi kompetensi abad ke-21, implementasinya di lapangan masih menghadapi berbagai kendala seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, kurangnya pelatihan guru, serta paradigma pembelajaran yang belum sepenuhnya berubah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi implementasi yang lebih holistik agar kurikulum benar-benar mampu membekali siswa menghadapi tantangan global melalui penguasaan kompetensi abad ke-21 dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Critical thinking and reasoning skills are essential cognitive aspects that must be developed in mathematics education to address the demands of the 21st century. This study aimed to analyze the differences in students’ critical thinking and reasoning abilities in solving open-ended problems through the implementation of Problem-Based Learning and Discovery Learning models. A quantitative approach was used, employing an experimental method with a factorial design. The sample consisted of two groups of students, each receiving a different treatment, with a total of 58 participants. The research instrument was a set of open-ended essay questions. Data were analyzed using univariate t-tests and multivariate mean difference tests. The findings indicated no significant difference in critical thinking skills between students taught with the two learning models. However, a significant difference was found in reasoning ability, as well as a simultaneous difference in both critical thinking and reasoning between the groups.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to analyze and evaluate the use of social media in product promotion amid the continuously evolving digitalization era. The partner in this project is the women's organization Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana, Ranting 05 Masbagik. Based on initial observations, several problems were identified, including: a lack of understanding regarding the use of social media as a marketing tool, limited technical skills in creating engaging promotional content, and the suboptimal use of social media in increasing household income. The community service activities were carried out in the form of outreach and training sessions on using social media as a promotional tool. The program showed a significant improvement in the participants’ knowledge about how to utilize social media to initiate and optimize product promotion, ultimately achieving the goal of increasing family income.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills in Indonesia are categorized as low. Low mathematical communication skills are caused by students' lack of interest in learning mathematics. In addition, relations and functions are other factors that can affect students' mathematical communication skills. This study aims to determine the mathematical communication skills of students in grade VIII who have high, medium, and low learning interests and to find out what obstacles cause low mathematical communication skills of students in grade VIII on the material of relations and functions. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII A of SMP Negeri 3 Sinjai. From these subjects, 3 students were selected, consisting of 1 student with a high learning interest category, 1 student with a medium learning interest category, and 1 student with a low learning interest category. The main instrument used in this study was the researcher himself. The data collection techniques used were learning interest questionnaires, mathematical communication ability tests, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that students with a high category were able to master 3 indicators, and students with a medium learning interest category were able to master 2 indicators, while students with mathematical communication skills in the low learning interest category were able to master 1 indicator. The obstacles that cause low mathematical communication skills of students consist of namely that high learning interest significantly influences students' mathematical communication skills. Therefore, efforts need to be made to increase students' learning interest to develop their mathematical communication skills well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivan penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, yang dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Bulukumba dengan populasi berjumlah 201 peserta didik kelas IX dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 peserta didik yang dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan literasi matematika. Teknik analisis data berupa statistic deskriptif dan statistic inferensial yaitu independent sampel t test dan uji efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik kelas IX SMPN 2 Bulukumba.

Abstract

AbstrakRendahnya minat dan prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika menjadi salah satu masalah besar dalam pendidikan di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu satuan pendidikan telah melakukan berbagai cara untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar peserta didik salah satunya adalah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat dan prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas VIII.A di MTs Madani Alauddin Pao-pao melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui kegiatan Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan 2 (PLP 2). Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII.A MTs Madani Alauddin Pao-pao yang berjumlah sebanyak 35 orang peserta didik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) mengalami peningkatan dalam tiga siklus dengan enam kali pertemuan dan satu kali pertemuan untuk ulangan harian. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar peserta didik mencapai 46,13% dan mengamali peningkatan pada siklus ketiga dengan nilai ulangan harian sebesar 64,63%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) mampu meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar peserta didik.
