Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

A pitching deck is a strategic communication medium that plays a crucial role in delivering value propositions to prospective investors in a concise yet persuasive manner. The effectiveness of message delivery through a pitching deck is highly determined by the quality of the visual language and narrative employed. This study aims to analyze how visual elements such as color, typography, infographics, and iconography interact synergistically with the narrative structure to convey complex business values more intuitively and emotionally. The methodology used is a literature study with a thematic analysis approach of scientific sources published within the last five years. The findings indicate that consistent visual integration and structured narrative not only enhance audience understanding but also strengthen memory retention and emotional engagement with the presented business ideas. Specifically, this combined approach opens significant opportunities for the development of intelligent models capable of adaptively evaluating and recommending pitching deck designs with personalization. The implications of this study point to the need for communication decision support systems that focus not only on business content but also on how data driven technologies and algorithms can improve the quality of visual narrative elements as persuasive tools in the startup and investment world.

Abstract

Today, higher education presents challenges in terms of educational and industrial collaboration. Both theoretical and practical, formal and informal are also part of the application of blockchain in education. Moreover, the assessment is still quite difficult to do to measure the skill level of students so that they can compete for jobs in the future With the problem of the academic curriculum that still uses writing media on paper, problems often arise regarding the validity of reliable document validation. So it is necessary to compare the knowledge obtained to match their abilities. From these problems, the goal was created to improve the higher education curriculum in order to find a revolutionary solution for document validation beliefs.  Evaluation of the iLearning learning system combined with blockchain technology (ledger) has the benefit of being able to support these problems.  By using Blockchain technology, a new learning model innovation is created in the form of the SCi-B (Student-Centered iLearning Blockchain) framework. SCi-B is a new innovation in the learning model where all activities use Blockchain so that its existence is able to manage and store all transactions, competencies, and teaching that can provide intensive assessments through digital certificates for the academic world and the world of work. So that SCi-B has a significant impact on the confidence in the results that have been obtained.  This paper aims to answer the challenges of the world of education which is currently getting wider, more open, and everywhere. The model in the SCi-B framework of this paper can be used for all training institutions because this model can adapt to the specific professional needs of the job sector. This model has been validated by the existence of a web application whose use is very satisfying.

Abstract

Chemicals that cannot be controlled today can pollute resources and the environment. Common sources of pollutants are due to public transportation, cigarette smoke, volcanic activity that emits volcanic ash, factory smoke, forest fires, biogas, or carbon dioxide. The purpose of this paper is to monitor air quality, detect air and anticipate pollution levels. With the specified algorithms, three algorithms will be used to create a good and accurate model where four different gasses are predicted: carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide, in this paper, there are four algorithms used for the Air Qualification Index which are Support Vector Regression, Linear Regression, and Ensemble Gradient Boosted Decision Tree. This research also includes quantitative research which is hypothesized to be evaluated against Root Mean Squared Error, Mean Squared Error, and Mean Absolute error, depending on the performance of the measurements made by artificial intelligence, and the lower error value is selected. Based on the algorithm to be predicted in this air quality monitoring, there are 5 air pollutants like Carbon dioxide, Sulfur dioxide, and Nitrogen dioxide, and the sensors to be used are two sensors like PM2.5 and PM10 that can be predicted.

Abstract

This study relates to the challenges faced by the wood furniture industry, specifically in the production of wooden sofa legs, which encounter issues with production efficiency and product quality. Many small and medium-sized enterprises still rely on manual processes that are time-consuming and result in products with varying quality. This research aims to formulate production efficiency strategies that can improve product quality without compromising costs or quality standards. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study of a small furniture industry in Pacitan, East Java, through observations, interviews, and documentation, and data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. The gap in this research lies in the lack of in-depth studies on the production of wooden sofa legs in the context of small and medium-sized industries in Indonesia, particularly in the application of lean manufacturing principles and quality control. The novelty of this research is the integration of lean manufacturing principles and quality control tailored to the specific conditions of small furniture industries, providing strategic recommendations that are practical for industry players. The results and discussion show that the application of the 5S system and production layout improvements successfully increased efficiency and reduced waste, while the implementation of strict quality control at each stage of production improved product consistency. The study also found that worker training and the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) significantly improved product quality.
