Abstract

Higher education is the face of innovation for any country. The quality and dedication of professors help to maintain quality in this process. With time, parameters were raised to check the quality of professor attributes. In this paper, we discuss all possible parameters taken by universities to evaluate faculty performance. Gradually it grew overhead pressure on professors and impacted the teaching-learning process. Our paper focused on stress parameters with possible solutions for the same issue. The process consists of several parameters to evaluate an employee's performance, such as no publications in conferences and journals, no patents filed, additional responsibilities performed, other qualifications achieved, result in the analysis of courses taught, etc. Still, it also puts a lot of pressure on both of them because they have to balance all this extra work and teaching. This paper focuses on different faculty assessment parameters and their impact on the faculty teaching-learning process. We also propose possible solutions on how this stress can be alleviated, and the existing strategy can be simplified.

Abstract

Over time, there haven't been many significant challenges to the higher education model. Even if the organization of lectures and learning experiences has changed due to the incorporation of increasingly sophisticated technologies, study themes are still evolving. The work being given here is an analysis of blockchain technology and its potential applications in the field of education, with a focus on the potential for upending the current value chain of academic institutions. Institutions act as central authority for providing and approving student knowledge as well as as a bridge between professors and those who would benefit from it (students). The main advancement of blockchain technology is the unbreakable digital transaction ledger, which can record almost any type of value exchange. They open up new possibilities when paired with other cutting-edge technologies like the internet of things and big data. They provide new opportunities for the decentralized sharing of education and the recording of knowledge and skills when paired with other cutting-edge technologies, such as the internet of things and big data. The end results include a thorough examination of the advancement of blockchain technology for educational purposes and a forecast of potential disruptions for educational institutions. There are currently apps targeted at decentralizing educational institutions using blockchain technology, which is developing at an ever-increasing rate. In the interim, a wider group of adepts continue to adopt the technique.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of various digital marketing campaign types—Awareness, Conversion, and Retention—on conversion rates and engagement levels. Using a dataset of 8,000 records, we conducted a comprehensive analysis through ANOVA, Chi-Square tests, and OLS regression to understand the impact of these campaign types. The ANOVA results indicated no significant differences in conversion rates across the campaign types, with an F-statistic of 0.4752 and a p-value of 0.6218. Similarly, the analysis for engagement levels, measured by website visits, yielded an F-statistic of 0.3651 and a p-value of 0.6942, suggesting no significant differences among the campaigns. Despite these findings, the Chi-Square test revealed a significant association between campaign types and conversion outcomes, with a Chi-Square statistic of 84.4544 and a p-value of approximately 3.3983e-18. This suggests that while the overall conversion rates do not differ significantly, the type of campaign does influence whether conversions occur. Pairwise t-tests supported these results, showing no significant differences in conversion rates or engagement levels between specific pairs of campaign types. Further, OLS regression analysis for conversion rates resulted in an R-squared value of 0.001 and a non-significant F-statistic, indicating that the predictors such as AdSpend and ClickThroughRate do not significantly explain the variation in conversion rates. Similarly, the regression model for engagement levels, despite an R-squared value of 1.000, highlighted issues of multicollinearity and overfitting. These findings imply that simply altering the type of campaign may not substantially impact conversion rates or engagement levels. Marketers should focus on improving content quality, targeting precision, and user experience to enhance campaign effectiveness. Future research should incorporate additional variables and advanced modeling techniques to provide deeper insights into the factors driving digital marketing success.

Abstract

This study explores the application of Random Forest, a powerful data mining technique, to predict player ranks in Valorant, a competitive first-person shooter. By analyzing a range of player performance metrics, including headshots, kills, damage received, and traded kills, the study identifies the key features that influence player rank determination. Using a dataset of player statistics, the model was trained to predict player ranks, achieving a prediction accuracy of 50.09%. The analysis revealed that headshots and traded kills were the most influential metrics in determining player rank, suggesting that skill-based metrics like accuracy and tactical gameplay are crucial for ranking in the game. These findings highlight the importance of understanding the relationship between various performance indicators and rank progression, offering valuable insights for both game developers and players. The results contribute to the growing body of research in gaming analytics, showcasing how data mining techniques can be used to analyze player behavior and improve competitive balance in games. The study underscores the potential of using data-driven approaches to enhance game design, providing developers with actionable insights to refine rank prediction systems, adjust in-game mechanics, and ensure a more balanced competitive environment. Looking ahead, future research can explore the use of alternative machine learning models, such as support vector machines (SVM), XGBoost, or neural networks, to improve the prediction accuracy and robustness of the model. Additionally, expanding the dataset to include more detailed player behaviors, match outcomes, and even temporal aspects of player performance could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing player ranks. This can help further unravel the complexities of player behavior and performance in the metaverse, where virtual environments evolve dynamically based on player interactions.

Abstract

Strategic Management (SM) has traditionally focused on competitive advantage and operational efficiency. However, with the increasing global emphasis on inclusive development, SM now includes addressing systemic issues such as inequality, as outlined in Sustainable Development Goal 10 (SDG 10). This study aims to explore how SM research contributes to SDG 10, focusing on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in advancing equity-driven strategies, specifically in the context of reducing inequalities. A bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer on 43 Scopus-indexed articles published from 2015 to 2025. This analysis maps global contributions, themes, and AI conceptual integration into SM. The findings show that Spain and the Netherlands are leading contributors in this field. Core themes emphasize governance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and innovation, while AI is recognized conceptually but lacks empirical integration in reducing inequalities. This study identifies key trends in SM research related to SDG 10 and highlights the need for greater empirical integration of AI in SM. It calls for further research on AI-driven decision-making frameworks that align with equity and sustainability goals.

Abstract

Accurate predictions of the number of public transport passengers on buses in each region are crucial for operations. They are required by the planning and management authority for bus public transport. A deep learning-based LSTM prediction model is proposed to predict the number of passengers in 4 bus public transportation areas (central, north, south, and west), evaluated by MSLE, MAPE, and SMAPE with dropout, neuron, and train-test variations. The CSV dataset obtained from Auckland Transport(AT) New Zealand metro patronage report on bus performance(1/01/2019-31/07/2023) is used for evaluation. The best prediction model was obtained from the lowest evaluation value and relatively fast time with a dropout of 0.2, 32 neurons, and train-test 80-20. The prediction model on training and testing data improves with the suitability of tuning for four predictions for the next 12 months with mutual fluctuations. The strong negative correlation is central-south, while the strong positive correlation is north-west. Predictions are less closely interconnected and dependent, namely central-south. With its potential to significantly impact policy-making, this prediction model can increase public transport mobility in each region, leading to a more efficient and accessible public transport system and ultimately enhancing the public's daily lives. This research has practical implications for public transport authorities, as it can guide them in making informed decisions about service planning and resource allocation.
