Abstract

This research was conducted to find out and analyze the application of technology to the learning process of elementary school students facing the CBNA (Computer-Based National Assessment) government program, which aims to map the quality of primary and secondary school education in Indonesia. This research aims to determine students' readiness to face CBNA and what factors are obstacles in preparing to face CBNA. This type of research is qualitative, with a case study approach regarding students' readiness to face CBNA. Preparations made by students facing CBNA include following socialization by teachers who serve as proctors and technicians. Then students take part in computer use training accompanied by a teacher, carried out after school. During this training, the teacher also provides motivational support to students so that they remain enthusiastic and not worry about facing CBNA. There are several obstacles to students' readiness in facing CBNA, namely, students have low technological literacy, limited computer equipment available, limited electricity sources as a resource for using computer devices, and limited internet networks, causing students not to be able to take part in the simulation on the CBNA page. Even though it is accompanied by If there are obstacles during the preparation process, students have good readiness to take part in the implementation of CBNA, which can be proven by the implementation of CBNA well.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the quality of teaching in elementary schools by leveraging technology, with a focus on developing students' digital literacy skills. A descriptive qualitative method was used with two teachers as research subjects at SD Inpres Malakantu. The study's results showed a lack of technology use in learning, with the primary teaching materials still being books. The researcher provided examples of multimedia-based learning materials, particularly utilizing the slide master feature in Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, and Google Classroom. This study found that the limitations of teachers' technical skills can be overcome through the development of skills using technology. The integration of technology in elementary schools is considered to increase student engagement and the quality of learning. The use of technology at SD Inpres Malakantu was identified as a solution to challenges in delivering learning materials. Research recommendations include strengthening teacher technology skills training, full support from schools and the government in integrating technology into the curriculum, and further research to understand the long-term impact of technology implementation on student achievement and their learning experiences.

Abstract

Queuing systems in the Indonesian healthcare sector play a crucial role in delivering efficient and high-quality services to patients. This study aims to analyze various queuing system models implemented in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, with a primary focus on the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) method. In this system, patients who arrive earlier will be served first. Although the FIFO method has been proven effective in increasing efficiency, various challenges affect the performance of the queuing system, including high patient numbers, limited human resources, and inadequate infrastructure. This study also identifies the potential of technology in optimizing the queuing system, such as information technology-based applications that can expedite the registration process and reduce patient waiting times. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the health sector in Indonesia has been increasingly encouraged to adopt digital technology in queue management, which can improve the quality of health services. This technology can enhance the flow of information to patients and aid in setting queue priorities, particularly for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and pregnant women. Additionally, government policies that support digitalization in the healthcare sector also play a crucial role in overcoming various existing obstacles. By employing a holistic approach that incorporates infrastructure, technology, and human resources, it is anticipated that the queue system in the Indonesian healthcare sector can be significantly improved, offering faster and more efficient services and enhancing patient satisfaction.
