Abstract

This study aims to map the zonation of soil bearing capacity in Padang City, covering five districts —Koto Tangah, Padang Barat, Nanggalo, Padang Timur, and Padang Selatan —comprising a total of 12 test points. The data were obtained from Cone Penetration Test (CPT) results, which were subsequently analysed to determine the ultimate bearing capacity of the soil, the safety factor of foundations against load eccentricity, and settlement at several test points. The analytical approach focused on assessing vertical bearing capacities, comparing estimated working loads with calculated ultimate bearing capacities, and determining settlement under representative design load conditions. From 12 test points distributed across the five districts, the results indicate that all locations exhibit safety factors significantly above the minimum requirement (FS > 3), suggesting that the ground has excellent capacity to sustain structural loads. In addition, the observed settlements are small, ranging from 0.8 mm to 6.4 mm, and remain well below the commonly accepted tolerance for foundation settlement (25–50 mm). These results support the notion that the subsurface layers in these areas are stable and do not pose a significant risk of foundation settlement. Therefore, the soil conditions at all test points can be categorised as safe, stable, and suitable to support the assumed design load of 100 kN, regardless of whether pile foundations or shallow foundations are used. The resulting soil bearing capacity zonation map is expected to serve as a practical reference for foundation planning, assisting engineers and planners in selecting appropriate foundation systems, and supporting sustainable infrastructure development in Padang City in a safer, more effective, and efficient manner.

Abstract

Program pelatihan keigo dan pemahaman budaya Jepang ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi siswa dalam rangka persiapan keberangkatan ke Jepang, khususnya bagi siswa yang akan mengikuti program magang, studi, atau kerja. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi siswa adalah keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap penggunaan keigo (bahasa hormat Jepang) serta rendahnya kesadaran akan nilai-nilai budaya Jepang yang sangat menekankan kesopanan, hierarki sosial, dan etika komunikasi. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan melalui pelatihan intensif yang meliputi pemaparan materi, simulasi komunikasi kontekstual, diskusi interaktif, serta praktik langsung penggunaan keigo dalam situasi formal dan semi-formal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dasar keigo, kemampuan memilih ragam bahasa yang sesuai dengan konteks sosial, serta meningkatnya kepercayaan diri siswa dalam berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Jepang secara sopan. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap nilai-nilai budaya kerja dan kehidupan sosial masyarakat Jepang. Program ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mempersiapkan siswa agar mampu beradaptasi secara linguistik dan kultural, sehingga diharapkan dapat meminimalkan kesalahpahaman komunikasi dan meningkatkan kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi lingkungan Jepang yang multikultural dan profesional.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan PKK RW 04 Desa Karangnangka melalui One Village One Product (OVOP) menjadi konsep tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Unsoed. Konsep OVOP berperan sebagai peningkatan kualitas potensi perdesaan. Konsep OVOP akan mengimplementasikan 3 prinsip yaitu; 1) mengoptimalkan potensi lokal dalam menghasilkan suatu produk yang only one and number one, 2) pengembangan berdasarkan kemandirian, kreatifitas dan inovatif, 3) pengembangan SDM. Desa Karangnangka merupakan desa dengan mata pencaharian yang didominasi oleh bercocok tanam dan perikanan. Tujuan dari PKM ini adalah; 1) meningkatkan keterampilan dan kapasitas anggota PKK dalam pengembangan produk berbasis potensi lokal sebagai produk unggulan penciri OVOP, (2) pelatihan pemasaran secara online. PKM dilakukan dengan teknik PRA (Particioatory Rural Appraisal) untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan serta potensi desa yang dimiliki. Teknik PRA, merupakan metode yang berfokus pada pemberdayaan dan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam setiap kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yang menekankan identifikasi permasalahan dan potensi desa secara partisipatif sehingga masyarakat terlibat aktif dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan peserta terkait teknik pengolahan singkong dan abon lele dengan standar yang lebih higienis, konsisten, dan inovatif. Peserta juga mampu membuat variasi produk serta memahami strategi pemasaran digital menggunakan platform media sosial. Selain itu, terbentuk komitmen kelompok PKK untuk mengembangkan produk unggulan desa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has encouraged hospitals to implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR) as part of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS). EMR implementation is expected to improve patient safety, documentation quality, and nursing efficiency. However, the use of EMR may also affect nurses’ workload, particularly in inpatient settings where documentation demands are high.  This study aimed to determine the relationship between the implementation of nursing care documentation using the EMR application and nurses’ workload in the medical-surgical inpatient unit of Welas Asih Regional Hospital. This study used a cross-sectional design with a total sampling technique involving 35 nurses working in the medical-surgical inpatient unit. Data were collected using a modified questionnaire that had been tested for validity. The results showed that most nurses implemented nursing care using EMR well (54.3%), and the majority experienced a moderate workload (40.0%). Bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between EMR implementation and nurse workload (ρ-value = 0.026; α < 0.05), indicating that better EMR implementation was associated with lighter nurse workload. There is a significant relationship between the implementation of nursing care documentation using the EMR application and nurses’ workload in the medical-surgical inpatient unit. Effective EMR implementation can help reduce nurse workload and support better nursing care delivery. Continuous system improvement, adequate infrastructure, and ongoing training are necessary to optimize EMR use in clinical practice.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is essential for achieving organizational objectives, with work discipline, work commitment, and work motivation identified as key factors shaping employee attitudes and performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work discipline, work commitment, and work motivation on employee job satisfaction. The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach, involving 33 employees selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were obtained using a 1–5 Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The findings show that work discipline, work commitment, and work motivation each have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Work motivation emerges as the most dominant variable, indicated by the highest regression coefficient. The simultaneous test confirms that all three variables collectively influence job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.878) reveals that 87.8% of the variation in job satisfaction is explained by the studied variables, while 12.2% is affected by other factors not included in the model. These results emphasize the strategic importance of strengthening discipline, enhancing commitment, and improving motivation to elevate employee satisfaction and organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a flashcard-based in-depth learning approach to improve badminton skills in 5th grade elementary school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. The subjects of this study were SDN 3 Kasmaran as the experimental class and SDN 1 Kasmaran as the control class. The measurement instrument used the Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI). This study was validated by 3 experts. 2 media experts and 1 material expert validated the flashcard media to have a validity level of 93.25% (very valid). The practicality test of the flashcard media reached 96.68% (very practical). The results of the normality test for the posttest scores of the experimental class and the control class were 0.889> 0.05, the homogeneity test was sig. 0.525 > 0.05 The N-gain test result is 0.4389 and the independent sample t test is 0.029 < 0.05. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of an in-depth learning approach based on flashcard media is valid, practical, and effective in improving the badminton skills of 5th grade elementary school students. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui motivasi dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) Parepare. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasi, Kuesioner, dan Dokumentasi. Sebagai populasi adalah seluruh pegawai Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) Parepare. Agar penelitian ini tepat dan proporsional, maka dalam penelitian ini digunakan sampling jenuh, dimana anggota populasi sejumlah 39 orang. Dengan demikian jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 39 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Variabel Motivasi (X1) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) Parepare dengan thitung > ttabel (3,292 > 1,688) dan nilai signifikan > 0,05 (0,002 > 0,05). Variabel Lingkungan kerja (X2) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) Parepare dengan hasil thitung > ttabel (2,999 > 1,688) dan nilai signifikan < 0,05 (0,005 < 0,05). Motivasi dan Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) Parepare dengan Fhitung > Ftabel (14,678 > 3,25) dan nilai signifikan < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Nilai R2 = 0,449 dapat diartikan bahwa pengaruh variabel Motivasi (X1) dan Lingkungan kerja (X2) terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y) sebesar 44,9%. Sedangkan sisanya 55,1% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini seperti gaya kepemimpinan, reward, beban kerja, dan kemampuan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between kitchen layout and the level of employee work productivity at Senja Café & Resto. The research is motivated by the importance of kitchen spatial design in supporting the smooth operation of restaurant activities. Inappropriate space arrangement, inefficient equipment placement, and unstructured workflow have the potential to hinder performance and increase employees’ physical workload.This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design to determine the relationship between kitchen layout as the primary factor under investigation and employee productivity as the observed outcome. Data were collected through questionnaires and direct observation involving all 15 kitchen employees. After the research instruments were confirmed to be valid and reliable, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Spearman Rank correlation test.The findings reveal a positive and significant relationship between a well-organized kitchen layout and increased employee productivity. An ergonomic kitchen design, balanced distances between work areas, and a well-structured workflow were proven to help accelerate task completion, reduce fatigue, and create a more comfortable working environment. Conversely, poorly planned layouts and limited movement space may decrease employee work effectiveness.Therefore, improving the kitchen layout can serve as an effective strategy for management to enhance operational efficiency, speed up customer service processes, and strengthen business competitiveness. Furthermore, this study is expected to serve as a practical reference for medium-scale culinary businesses in managing kitchens in a more structured, efficient, and ergonomically oriented manner. Tujuannya adalah menjaga etika, serta meningkatkan harkat dan martabat guru agar menjadi pendidik yang profesional dan mampu mengembangkan potensi siswa secara optimal. Penelitian kualitatif ini, yang berfokus pada studi penelitian studi pustaka (library Research), dan analisis deskriptif, mengkaji bagaimana kode etik guru PAI. Kode etik guru adalah pedoman utama agar guru tetap profesional, berintegritas, dan bertanggung jawab. Dengan memahami esensi profesi ini, guru diharapkan dapat bertindak secara profesional, etis, dan bermartabat di tengah perkembangan pendidikan. Kajian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi bahan refleksi dan penguat pemahaman bagi calon guru, guru yang aktif mengajar, dan pembuat kebijakan untuk memenuhi kode etik profesi guru terutama guru PAI. Oleh karena itu, penerapan kode etik profesi sangat penting untuk menciptakan pembelajaran berkualitas. Keberhasilan pendidikan secara keseluruhan sangat bergantung pada kemampuan profesional guru PAI dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, norma agama menjadi dasar kuat bagi guru untuk menjunjung tinggi perilaku baik dan menghindari perilaku buruk.

Abstract

This article examines the existence of the Tax Court within the Indonesian judicial system following Constitutional Court Decision Number 26/PUU-XXI/2023. The transfer of authority over the Tax Court to the Supreme Court constitutes a significant structural reform in the tax judiciary aimed at strengthening the principle of judicial independence. Previously, the implementation of a dual-roof system created a potential conflict of interest because the Ministry of Finance, as part of the executive branch, continued to control the non-technical aspects of the Tax Court, which could affect the independence of judges in adjudicating tax disputes. This condition contradicts the principle of an independent judiciary as stipulated in Article 24 paragraphs (1) and (2) of the 1945 Constitution. This study employs a normative legal research method using statutory and conceptual approaches to formulate an ideal regulatory framework for the institutional structure of the Tax Court in Indonesia. The findings indicate that the current position of the Tax Court is not fully aligned with the one-roof judicial system mandated by the Constitution. Therefore, a comprehensive institutional restructuring is necessary to ensure the Tax Court becomes an integral part of judicial power, including institutional strengthening at the provincial level to guarantee faster and more equitable access to justice for taxpayers.
