Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dalam pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya keterlibatan guru BK dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, khususnya dalam membentuk karakter dan kompetensi siswa melalui P5. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif fenomenologis. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru BK, ketua panitia P5, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru BK memiliki peran penting sebagai pendamping, fasilitator, dan motivator dalam pelaksanaan P5. Guru BK turut terlibat dalam memberikan bimbingan terkait nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila serta mendukung pembentukan karakter siswa melalui pendekatan habituasi dan refleksi. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya pelatihan, serta belum optimalnya kolaborasi antar guru. Diperlukan dukungan institusional yang lebih kuat agar guru BK dapat berkontribusi secara maksimal dalam pelaksanaan P5. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan bagi pihak sekolah dalam merancang strategi yang lebih terstruktur untuk mengoptimalkan peran guru BK dalam penguatan karakter siswa.

Abstract

This study intends to analyze the implementation of infrastructure development policies in the Jagoi Babang border area using the Van Meter and Van Horn model, which emphasizes six policy implementation variables. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through documentation studies, field observations, and in-depth interviews with stakeholders at the local and central levels. Border areas are strategic areas that reflect the state's presence in aspects of sovereignty, public services, and community welfare. Nevertheless, infrastructure development in border areas like Jagoi Babang, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan, still faces numerous implementation challenges. The results show that policy implementation faces structural barriers such as weak inter-agency coordination, limited resources, and budget rigidities, as well as cultural barriers in the form of minimal community participation, low sense of ownership, and neglect of local values. The research recommends an improvement strategy that includes local context-based policy adjustments, strengthening cross-sectoral coordination, budget reform, and community empowerment. The findings are significant in encouraging the formulation of border development policies that are more inclusive, adaptive and sustainable, and provide a conceptual contribution to strengthening policy implementation capacity in other underdeveloped and strategic areas

Abstract

This study explores the ethical integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education through the philosophical lens of Thomas Aquinas, addressing the tension between technological efficiency and humanistic values. While AI enhances personalized learning and accessibility (e.g., adaptive platforms like Khan Academy), it risks dehumanizing education by neglecting empathy and equity. Using qualitative philosophical analysis and systematic literature review, the research examines Aquinas’ principles of natural law, virtue ethics, and telos (purpose) to propose a framework balancing AI innovation with moral education. Findings reveal that Aquinas’ emphasis on reason, character formation, and social justice aligns with modern needs to mitigate AI’s pitfalls, such as data privacy concerns and reduced human interaction. The study concludes that AI should complement, not replace, human educators, with policies prioritizing ethical training, inclusive access, and curricula integrating Aquinas’ virtues (e.g., justice, empathy). This synthesis offers a holistic approach to ensure AI serves as a tool for human flourishing in education.

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a chronic growth disorder caused by long-term inadequate nutritional intake, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life. This condition does not occur at birth but develops over time and becomes evident as impaired linear growth in children under five years of age. Objective: This study aimed to assess mothers’ knowledge regarding stunting prevention before and after the provision of module-based education in Sanrobone Village, Takalar Regency. Methods: This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a pre–post approach. The population and sample consisted of 62 pregnant women selected using total sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire administered before and after the educational intervention. Results: Before the intervention, 17 respondents (27.4%) had good knowledge, while 45 respondents (72.6%) had poor knowledge. After the intervention, the proportion of respondents with good knowledge increased to 37 (59.6%), while those with poor knowledge decreased to 25 (40.4%). These findings indicate a clear improvement in maternal knowledge following the educational intervention. Conclusion: Module-based education effectively improves mothers’ knowledge regarding stunting prevention. Strengthening educational interventions at the community level is essential to support early prevention efforts and improve child health outcomes.

Abstract

Perkembangan emosional pada remaja merupakan komponen penting dalam pertumbuhan dan pembentukan karakter mereka secara keseluruhan, terutama selama masa remaja. Salah satu faktor utama yang memengaruhi perkembangan ini adalah gaya pengasuhan, remaja mungkin terpapar pada berbagai pendekatan dari orang tua mereka, yang umumnya diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga kategori: otoriter, permisif, dan demokratis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara pendekatan pengasuhan orang tua dan kematangan emosional siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Martapura. Dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja korelasi kuantitatif, penelitian ini melakukan survei terhadap 233 remaja yang dipilih melalui pengambilan sampel acak sederhana, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Analisis statistik, khususnya uji korelasi Spearman, menghasilkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,367 dan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) sebesar 0,000. Karena tingkat signifikansi ini berada di bawah ambang batas 0,05 (Sig < 0,05), temuan ini menegaskan adanya hubungan yang signifikan secara statistik antara gaya pengasuhan dan perkembangan emosional remaja di sekolah tersebut.
