Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of traditional stilt games in sports learning as an effort to improve learning outcomes and collaboration skills of elementary school students. Stilts, as a game that requires balance and physical skills, have the potential to enrich sports learning that not only focuses on physical aspects, but also social aspects, such as cooperation and mutual support between students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an observation, interview, and documentation approach. The participants of this study were 4th grade students at SDN Bohar Sidoarjo. Through observation and in-depth interviews, it was found that the use of stilts in learning was not only able to improve students' physical agility, but also strengthen collaboration and cooperation skills in groups. Stilt-based sports learning encourages students to help each other and build self-confidence in trying new things, as well as fostering an appreciation for traditional games as part of cultural heritage. The results of this study indicate that learning involving traditional games such as stilts can be an effective method in building students' physical and social abilities in an integrated manner, while supporting the preservation of local culture in elementary school environments.

Abstract

Indonesian language is one of the lessons which must be given to the students from elementary school until university. It is because this lesson can't be separated with other knowledges. This research was to analyze media development needs as an action to improve student's writing skill in Indonesian lesson. The research method was descriptive qualitative and the research instruments were teacher's score record, interview, and questionnaire which was given to teachers and students. According to student's pre test, it could be seen the worst score was 65 and the best score was 85 with the average score 66. This problem was because teaching media was not varied, students were not interested in writing, and teaching method was not varied as well. The research result was shown most of the students need a media in comic strip to help them in writing. The research conclusion was comic strip media can be a solution to improve students' writing skill in writing a story.

Abstract

In the context of primary education, the role of school principals as academic supervisors is critical to improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. This study aims to identify research trends related to academic supervision by principals in primary schools and its effect on teacher motivation and performance. The method used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which involves searching and analyzing 13 scientific articles from the google scholar database within the time span of 2019 to 2024. The results showed that effective academic supervision, which involves data-driven and collaborative approaches, can improve teacher performance and student learning outcomes. In addition, the use of technology in academic supervision was shown to speed up the monitoring and evaluation process, allowing for faster feedback to teachers. The study also found that principals who apply distributive leadership can improve the efficiency of supervision by involving other staff in the process. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that to improve the quality of education in primary schools, principals need to be further trained in academic supervision skills and adequate policy support should be provided. Further research is needed to explore more specific academic supervision practices at the primary school level in order to understand the different dynamics compared to other levels of education Keywords : Academic Supervision, Principle, teacher performance

Abstract

Abstrak. Membaca merupakan suatu kegiatan atau proses kognitif yang berupaya untuk menemukan berbagai informasi yang terdapat dalam tulisan. Siswa dengan kemampuan membaca dan memahami dapat dengan mudah menyerap ilmu dan pengetahuan akan tetapi pembelajaran membaca yang terkesan monoton membuat siswa kelas IV mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami teks bacaan yag berdampak pada rendahnya motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan awal dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran berdeferensiasi menggunakan media cerita bergambar pada siswa kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskritif dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data melalui observasi,wawancara, dan angket kepda guru dan siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memerlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat memvisualisasikan pembelajaran secara konkret dan menyenangkan, Temuan ini mendukung pengembangan media pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbantuan buku cerita bergambar sebagai sarana yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan motivasi belajar pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class III students at SDN Wonokusumo IV/43 Surabaya through the application of smart box media in learning science and technology, material forms and energy sources. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with two cycle stages starting from action planning to reflection on learning. Based on the research results, it was found that in the initial conditions or before being given action, there were 24 students (82.7%) who had not completed their studies and 5 people (17.2%) who had completed their studies with an average score of 41.7. In cycle I there were 17 students (58.6%) who had not completed their studies and 12 students (41.4%) who had completed their studies with an average score of 60.3. In cycle II there was an increase, namely: there were 26 students (89.6%) who had completed their studies and 3 students (10.3%) who had not yet completed their studies with an average score of 81.4. It can be concluded that the application of Smart Box media is effective in improving student learning outcomes regarding forms and energy sources.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian untuk peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa, pada Tema 7 Sub Tema 2 dikelas IV MIS Nurussalam Palang. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen.Hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dengan nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen 67.45 dan mengalami peningkatan pada nilai rata-rata posttest 86.41, nilai rata-rata pretest kelas kontrol 62.28 dan mengalami peningkatan pada nilai rata-rata posttest 71.17. Namun dari hasil posttest, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada hasil kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis uji t diperoleh thitung sebesar 10.107 dengan ttabel 2.028, maka dapat dilihat hasil thitung kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ttabel. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu jika thitung > ttabel maka Ha diterima dan dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan media big book terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dari hasil observasi pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen yakni sebesar 10,98% dan menunjukkan presentase yang besar dengan nilai 84,96%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan media big book berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing problem-based learning, analyze the results of the device development, describe student's problem solving with problem-based learning on the scale materials on the map. This research uses research and development (R&D) type, namely 4D-Model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The developed learning tools are including; lesson plans (RPP), LKPD, and a problem-solving ability test (KPM). The results of the development of the scale learning device on the map is valid, practical and effective. The validity of the learning tools is as follows: the average RPP validation is 3.68 or 91.91% in the valid category; LKPD of 3.39 or 84.75% in the valid category; and the KPM test of 3.12 or 78% in the valid category. Therefore, based on the results of the assessment of the validator, problem-based learning tools can be used for learning activities. Practicality of learning tools: the ability of teachers to manage learning is 3.48 or the percentage of implementation is 87% with the category of good implementation; student activity in learning activities is 97.5%. Therefore, it could be claimed as effective. The effectiveness of learning tools: the percentage of changes in KPM of positive students is 75%; the increase in KPM gets an N-Gain score of 0.59 in the medium category, the completeness of percentage in classical learning is 90% thus, it could be claimed as complete, while the student response in positive learning is in an average score of 97 %. Based on the results of the research on the learning device scale on the problem-based map based on good criteria which is valid, practical and effective so that it can be used for learning activities.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and validate a Sustainable Ecological Cultural Learning (SECL) model integrated with indigenous values for elementary education. The model was designed to address the limited integration of ecological sustainability and cultural literacy in elementary school learning while supporting culturally responsive and sustainability-oriented education. This study employed a research and development approach using the ADDIE framework, focusing on the analysis, design, and development stages, with evaluation limited to expert-based validity testing. The SECL model was validated by experts in elementary education, environmental education, and cultural studies using a structured validation instrument with a four-point Likert scale. The validation results indicate that the SECL model achieved an overall mean validity score of 3.53 out of 4.00, categorized as very valid. High validity scores were obtained across key aspects, including integration of indigenous values (M = 3.70), relevance to sustainable education principles (M = 3.60), and alignment with elementary student characteristics (M = 3.55). These findings demonstrate that the SECL model is conceptually sound, feasible, and appropriate for elementary education contexts. The validated model provides a solid foundation for further classroom implementation and effectiveness testing in future studies.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilanmenjahit busana daerah pada siswa Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Insan Mulia Payakumbuh melaluipelatihan pembuatan pola dan praktik menjahit. Siswa SLB memiliki potensi yang dapatdikembangkan melalui pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional yang terarah salah satunyaketerampilan menjahit yang berfungsi sebagai sarana pengembangan kemandirian, motorik halus,serta pelestarian budaya lokal. Namun, keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis dalampembuatan pola dan menjahit busana daerah menjadi salah satu kendala dalam prosespembelajaran keterampilan di sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan,pelatihan praktik, demonstrasi, dan pendampingan. Penyuluhan dilakukan untuk memberikanpemahaman dasar mengenai jenis busana daerah, alat dan bahan menjahit, serta prinsip dasarpembuatan pola. Pelatihan praktik dan demonstrasi difokuskan pada pembuatan pola busanadaerah secara sederhana dan teknik menjahit yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan siswa SLB.Selanjutnya, pendampingan dilakukan secara intensif untuk memastikan setiap peserta mampumengikuti tahapan kegiatan dan menyelesaikan produk busana yang dirancang. Hasil kegiatanmenunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam membuat pola danmenjahit busana daerah. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian sebelumnya siswa hanya mampu membuatbusana sederhana, namun pada kegiatan ini siswa mampu menghasilkan produk busana daerahsederhana sesuai dengan pola yang dibuat, serta menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dankemandirian dalam proses pembelajaran keterampilan. Luaran kegiatan ini meliputi produk busanadaerah hasil karya siswa, modul pelatihan menjahit sederhana, serta dokumentasi kegiatan sebagaibahan laporan dan publikasi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengembanganketerampilan vokasional berbasis budaya lokal bagi siswa SLB dan berkontribusi padapeningkatan kualitas pendidikan inklusif.

Abstract

The use of E-Modules is not new for educators; however, there remains a limited number of studies that specifically develop Flipbook-based interactive modules integrating local cultural values to enhance elementary students’ fiction writing skills. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of the interactive E-Module “Andum Alpukat” as a learning medium, employing a research and development (R&D) design that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. The development process involved validation by material experts, module design experts, peer reviewers, and trials conducted individually, in small groups, and in large groups with fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Pulosari 1 Bareng Jombang. The findings reveal that the module received a feasibility score of 75% from material experts, 93.75% from design experts, 97.5% from peer reviewers, and 89.99% based on student responses. These results indicate that the “Andum Alpukat” interactive E-Module is both feasible and effective in improving students’ fiction writing skills. The study concludes that a modified Flipbook aligned with students’ learning needs can produce a high-quality and engaging instructional medium. The implications of this study suggest that similar modules have strong potential for broader implementation within Merdeka Curriculum–oriented classrooms and for fostering culturally grounded creativity in fiction writing to strengthen meaningful learning experiences.
