Abstract

This study addresses the gap between 21st-century multiliteracy demands and the limited integration of local wisdom in Indonesian language learning at the elementary level. It aims to formulate a conceptual model of multiliteracy-based local wisdom through a philosophical approach. A qualitative literature review was conducted on 25 scholarly sources (2020–2026), analyzed thematically across ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions. The findings reveal that multiliteracy expands literacy into multimodal and critical domains, while local wisdom strengthens contextual relevance and value internalization. The novelty lies in a philosophical synthesis that reconstructs Indonesian language learning as an integrative paradigm bridging global literacy and local identity. This integration leads to contextual, reflective, and transformative learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by teachers' difficulties in learning mathematics. The lack of teacher ability in designing and implementing methods is an obstacle to student success in mathematics subjects. This research was conducted to improve teacher performance in managing mathematics learning using the Cooperative Learning Method. The purpose of this research is to determine: 1) Student learning outcomes in solving problems regarding the area of ​​a plane area before using the Cooperative Learning method, 2) Student activities during the learning process in mathematics learning by applying the Cooperative Learning method. , 3) Student learning outcomes in solving questions on the area of ​​flat built areas after using the Cooperative Learning method. The method used is classroom action research (Classroom Action Research), the research process is carried out in two cycles, the previous action being carried out in the pre-cycle stage, each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection . The results of the research show an increase, seen from students' answers on student worksheets and an increase in students' activeness in working in groups, asking questions in class, thinking more critically and actively. Likewise, the learning results for each cycle show an increase, the average test score in the first cycle is 70.32 and the average test score in the second cycle is 86.45, while in the pre-cycle stage the average score is 54.19. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of the Cooperative Learning method in mathematics learning in elementary schools can improve mathematics learning outcomes and teachers can try to apply this method so that students are active and motivated in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia has developed but still faces challenges in improving the quality and relevance of learning. One of the challenges faced is the low interest in learning of students in class IV-C SD Negeri Lidah Wetan II. Factors causing low interest in learning include uninteresting learning models, learning methods that are less varied, and students' kinesthetic learning styles that are not fulfilled. Therefore, a more innovative and interactive learning approach, such as the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model, is needed to improve student learning outcomes. Furthermore, the research was conducted using a classroom action research approach based on the Kemmis and Taggart model, where the application of PjBL successfully improved student learning outcomes. It is known that in cycle 1, the percentage of learning completeness was 75.86% or as many as 22 students who were complete and 7 students who were not complete with an average score of 80. Meanwhile, in cycle II, it is known that the percentage of learning completeness was 89.66% or as many as 26 students who were complete and 3 students who were not complete with an average score of 90. The results showed a significant increase from pre-cycle to cycle II in terms of the percentage of student completeness and the average score of students on the material of buying and selling activities as a fulfilment of life.

Abstract

Student ability to solve problems in the field of mathematics has an impact on low learning outcomes. The choice of learning model and learning media used can influence the learning process. One way that can be used to help students improve learning outcomes in mathematics learning is using a problem based learning model with the help of learning videos. The aim of this research is to improve mathematics learning outcomes regarding the circumference of flat shapes through a problem based learning model with the help of learning video media for fifth grade elementary school students. This research is classroom action research (PTK) with qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the research show an increase in mathematics learning outcomes for class V students at SDN Lidah Wetan II/462 Surabaya. The scores obtained at the pre-cycle stage were 19 students or 61% incomplete, cycle I was 13 students or 42% incomplete and cycle II was 0% incomplete. Before the class action was carried out (pre-cycle), there were 12 students or 39% of the results completed, in the first cycle stage there were 18 students or 58% of the results completed, and in cycle II there were 31 students or 100% of the results. The KKM score for class V mathematics is 75.

Abstract

This research was written based on problems that occur in the field, namely the low mathematics abilities of students in Indonesia and teachers in schools who still generalize learning for all students, even though students have different characteristics and learning needs. The aim of the research is to determine the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes in fraction topic for 4th grade students at SDN Lidah Wetan II/462 Surabaya using a differentiated learning approach. This classroom action research used the Kemmis and Taggart model and involved 28 students of 4th grade at SDN LIdah Wetan II/462 Surabaya. The research was conducted in two cycles with students written tests for data collection techniques. The research data obtained was then analyzed using quantitative techniques. The results of the research show that the use of a differentiated learning approach in mathematics learning in fraction topic has succeeded in improving student learning outcomes. This increase can be seen from the learning results of students during 2 cycles. In the pre-cycle, only 9 of the 28 students who managed to get a score ≥ 75 or 32% were declared to have completed their studies. In the first cycle, 14 out of 28 students managed to get a score ≥ 75 or 50% were declared complete. In cycle II there were 22 out of 28 students who succeeded in getting a score ≥ 75 or 79% who were declared to have completed their studies. The average student learning outcomes also increased, namely 75.11 in cycle I which then increased to 83.39 in cycle II.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia as the language that unifies the nation is actually considered difficult to learn for the Indonesian people especially to master the language skills. Lack of ability to understand the writing and lack of writing skills can cause conflicts to arise. Expository texts require an understanding of an event but students cannot see it directly in observation, thereby they will find it more difficult to learn. Choosing the right learning model will help students learn any lesson, one of which is expository texts. Problem Based Learning is one of the most frequently used learning models because it is considered capable to improving student learning outcomes. This research aims to improve the ability to write simple expository texts as a result of student learning. It is hoped that this research can help students to explain things in good and correct written language, provide alternatives for teachers in teaching simple expository text lesson, and help schools develop curricula also improve overall student learning outcomes. This research used Classroom Action Research method with a Qualitative Approach. The results of research in cycle 1 showed that the average score was 73.75, which means they had not yet reached the minimum completeness criteria. Therefore, cycle 2 is needed for improvement actions. After being given action in cycle 2, it was found that the average score was 94.42, which means they had achieved the target determined at the beginning of the research. Therefore, there is no need to continue to cycle 3. Based on observations made during the learning process, students have become more proficient in writing good and correct spelling and punctuation so that learning outcomes can improve significantly.

Abstract

This research is research on improving elementary school students' writing skills using magic books. This research aims to produce magic book learning media with pictures and descriptions for grade 1 students in elementary schools. The method used in this research is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. By using the SLR method, researchers will identify, study, evaluate and interpret all research that has been obtained. Researchers will conduct a systematic review of the journals that have been obtained. The research data included in this literature review is an analysis of summaries of several documented articles related to improving students' writing skills using image media. The research data included in this literature review is an analysis of summaries of several documented articles related to improving students' writing skills using picture word books. Based on the results of research in the period 2018 to 2023, there were positive results with the use of Picture Sentence Book media which can improve students' initial writing skills. Students are happier with the use of image media as a support in their learning process. Picture word media attracts students to better understand and recognize the various kinds of images presented.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low listening skills of 3rd grade students at SDN Gebang 1 Sidoarjo due to the use of monotonous conventional media where listening skills require a comprehensive information synthesis process. The purpose of this study is to produce a valid, practical and effective Canva-based CERMAT (Smart Interactive Listening) E-book learning media for narrative text material. Using the ADDIE Research and Development (R&D) model, data collection techniques were carried out through validation sheets, response questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The results of the study showed that the media was very feasible with validation from material experts of 88%, media experts 90%, and teaching modules 96%. This media is also very practical (student responses 89.08% and teachers 95%) and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The results of qualitative interview analysis supported these findings, where respondents assessed the material as having high accuracy, appropriate curriculum suitability, practical features, and proven to stimulate students' listening focus. In conclusion, the CERMAT E-book media has proven to be valid, very practical, and effective in improving elementary school students' listening skills.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran digital BATAKU berbasis Android bertujuan untuk mengatasi rendahnya keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses dan hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran digital BATAKU berbasis Android guna meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan model ASSURE. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa kelas VI di SD Negeri Sumput, Kecamatan Sidoarjo. Validasi media yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil yang tinggi dalam berbagai aspek, yaitu aspek materi (89,09% - sangat valid), aspek penyajian (92,5% - sangat valid), aspek kebahasaan (89,89% - sangat valid), dan aspek kegrafikan (90,09% - sangat valid). Keefektifan media pembelajaran digital BATAKU berbasis Android yang telah dikembangkan dapat dilihat dari perbandingan keterampilan menulis siswa sebelum dan setelah penggunaan media tersebut. Pada awalnya, seluruh 34 siswa memiliki keterampilan menulis di bawah KKM (kriteria ketuntasan minimal), tetapi setelah menggunakan media tersebut, keterampilan menulis mereka mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan melebihi KKM. Uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks menghasilkan nilai P sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Android, termasuk validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan, telah menghasilkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Media permainan MINOPA berbasis android digunakan untuk mengatasi rendahnya keterampilan menulis pantun siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengembangan Media Permainan MINOPA Berbasis Android Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Pantun Peserta Didik Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk penelitian pengembanagn dengan model 4D yang terdiri dari define (definisi), design (desain), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (disemminasi). Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa SD Negeri Glagaharum yang menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V sebanyak 25 berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan sebanyak 11 dan peserta didik berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 14. Waktu penelitian yaitu semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan April-Mei. Tempat penelitian yaitu SD Negeri Glagahrum tepatnya kelas V. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validasi media menggunakan persentase sedangkan efektivitas menggunakan SPSS Uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks. Kevalidan media permainan MINOPA berbasis android yang telah dikembangkan dengan persentase sebesar 92,26% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Pada Uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks didapatkan nilai P 0,000 < 0,05. Secara garis besar dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media permainan MINOPA berbasis android efektif meningkatkan secara signifikan keterampilan menulis pantun peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar.
