Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the monitoring, supervision, and curriculum improvement system in the Arabic Language Education Study Program at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Mandailing Natal (STAIN Madina), assessing its effectiveness in enhancing Arabic language competence and supporting Islamic learning. Utilizing a qualitative research design, the study employs a case study methodology, combining interviews, observations, and documentation analysis. The findings reveal that the monev system, involving comprehensive planning, implementation, and reporting, effectively covers graduate competency standards, content standards, process standards, and learning assessment standards. The structured approach, involving multiple stakeholders, ensures thorough evaluation and continuous improvement. However, limitations such as the need for more in-depth internal supervision of content standards and challenges related to human resources and stakeholder engagement were noted. These findings are significant for higher education institutions aiming to enhance their curriculum systems, offering a model for structured monitoring and supervision. Further research is recommended to explore integrated internal supervision mechanisms and long-term effects on student outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore value-based parenting strategies implemented by parents in instilling morality and ethics in children in the digital era. In this context, advancements in information technology have created new challenges in parenting, particularly related to children's engagement with digital content. This study conducted in-depth interviews with ten parents who have elementary school-aged children. The method is a descriptive qualitative approach. Reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing are the steps used to conduct data analysis. The research results show that parents use various methods to communicate, supervise technology use, and integrate religious and cultural values in parenting. Parents who effectively teach moral values to their children also tend to talk to them about the positive and negative impacts of digital technology. This study suggests that parents need training and guidance to enhance their ability to navigate the dynamics of the digital era. Abstract

Pembangunan di Kota Batu telah mengakibatkan peningkatan lahan terbangun dan penurunan vegetasi. Perubahan penggunaan lahan dapat terlihat melalui analisis sebaran vegetasi menggunakan data Citra Landsat 8. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan sebaran dan luas kerapatan vegetasi di Kota Batu pada tahun 2018 dan 2020 menggunakan klasifikasi indeks kerapatan vegetasi Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Metode NDVI digunakan untuk membandingkan pantulan sinar merah dan sinar inframerah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun 2018, sebaran nilai NDVI di Kota Batu memiliki klasifikasi vegetasi rapat, vegetasi cukup rapat, dan non-vegetasi dengan luas masing-masing 8.687,62 hektar, 4.076,20 hektar, dan 7.051,36 hektar. Pada tahun 2020, sebaran nilai NDVI di Kota Batu juga memiliki klasifikasi vegetasi rapat, vegetasi cukup rapat, dan non-vegetasi dengan luas masing-masing 7.070,40 hektar, 4.978,05 hektar, dan 7.760,40 hektar. Dari data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi perubahan yang signifikan dalam klasifikasi kepadatan vegetasi selama dua tahun. Terjadi peningkatan sebesar 1% dalam klasifikasi yang cukup rapat, peningkatan sebesar 7% pada klasifikasi non-vegetasi, dan penurunan yang signifikan sebesar 16% pada klasifikasi vegetasi yang rapat. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya pergeseran fungsi lahan yang cukup signifikan, yang perlu menjadi pertimbangan penting dalam perencanaan tata ruang di Kota Batu.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the literature that discusses the influence of work climate, work culture, and commitment to contracts on teacher performance and conflict management in Islamic elementary schools. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this article identifies research trends, theories used, and factors that contribute to improving teacher performance and conflict management in Islamic educational environments. This article is expected to provide practical recommendations for school administrators in creating a conducive and harmonious work environmen.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia became an opportunity to enrich themselves through corruption of social assistance funds. However, existing regulations do not provide a deterrent effect on the perpetrators. This research is a normative legal research (library research) using a case approach and presented in the form of descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the existence of legal regulations related to corruption during the pandemic has not been fully implemented by Indonesia considering that the Corruption Law, especially Article 2 paragraph (2), is still open to multiple interpretations regarding "certain circumstances". Then the relevance of the Corruption Law to corruption during the pandemic is certainly related to its eradication to provide a deterrent effect even though the sanctions have not been applied. The government then prioritized the data management improvement program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan amanat teks anekdot ‘Anak Anjing’ menurut interpretasi siswa. Pendeskripsian itu juga dilakukan menurut jenis amanat per kelompok sampel yakni nama sekolah. Penelitian deskriptif ini dilakukan di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Singkep dan SMK Negeri 1 Singkep di wilayah administrasi Kabupaten Lingga, Kepulauan Riau. Penelitian berlangsung di awal semester ganjil 2021/2022. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 240 yang terbagi dari 181 siswa SMA Negeri 1 Singkep dan 59 siswa SMK Negeri 1 Singkep. Sampel berjumlah 140 siswa dengan rincian 113 siswa SMA Negerri 1 Singkep dan 37 siswa SMK Negeri 1 Singkep. Disediakan 5 jenis amanat untuk dipilih siswa sebagai amanat utama, amanat pendukung-1, dan amanat pendukung-2 sesuai dengan interpretasi mereka masingmasing. Data amanat teks anekdot menurut interpretasi siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan tes objektif melalui aplikasi google form. Analisis data menggunakan teknik modus untuk menentukan amanat utama dan 2 amanat pendukung menurut interpretasi siswa. Menurut interpretasi siswa, amanat utama teks anekdot ‘Anak Anjing’ adalah ‘sebutkan rujukan setiap pendapat’, amanat pendukung-1 adalah ‘akuilah kebenaran’, dan amanat pendukung-2 adalah ‘bantulah pekerjaan orang tua’. Terdapat perbedaan interpretasi amanat utama, amanat pendukung-1, dan amanat pendukung-2 antara siswa SMA Negeri 1 Singkep dan siswa SMK Negeri Singkep.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pendidikan politik pemilih pemula pada Pemilu2024 di Kota Palembang, dengan fokus pada Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik(Kesbangpol). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan datamelalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan model Miles danHuberman (reduksi data, penyajian data, dan inferensi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkanpartisipasi aktif pemilih pemula dalam pendidikan politik yang diselenggarakan olehKesbangpol. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi ini meliputi pemahaman politik,pengalaman organisasi, dan afiliasi politik orang tua. Kesbangpol berhasil meningkatkanpartisipasi pemilih pemula melalui program pendidikan politik di sekolah-sekolah. PadaPilkada 2018, partisipasi pemilih mencapai 70,26%, dan meningkat sebesar 11,74% menjadi82% (214.446 pemilih) pada tahun 2019, melebihi target nasional sebesar 77,5%.Kesbangpol terus berupaya meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih pemula dalam pemilu melaluikegiatan edukasi dan sosialisasi.

Abstract

Early childhood is a crucial period in child development, encompassing the time from birth to around eight years old. During this phase, children experience rapid growth, both physically and mentally. The foundation of skills, values, and knowledge established during this time will influence their future development. In this research, a qualitative research design is used. The qualitative approach is chosen because the primary focus of the study is to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of the Montessori method, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. This educational approach values the unique learning styles of children. By emphasizing learning through direct experience and creating a supportive environment, practical, sensory, and academic activities in the classroom are designed to encourage independent learning and help children understand concepts concretely. The Montessori method facilitates a meaningful and sustainable learning process, making it an effective choice in early childhood education.

Abstract

Textbooks are teaching materials that are the main element in the ongoing learning. This research and development is based on the gap in the delivery of material in Arabic learning. The purpose of this research is to develop audio-visual-based textbook teaching materials for class X SMK students that are packaged in an attractive, practical and effective way. The development model in this study refers to the Borg and Gall development model. The test subjects of this research product were students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kalirejo. The results of this study explain that design and media expert validators give a percentage of the design of textbook teaching materials on the display aspect with a score of 98.43% (very feasible); aspects of use obtained a score of 97.91% (very feasible); and the aspect of Utilization obtained a score of 91.66% (very feasible), while from the material and language expert validators for the Introduction aspect, a score of 100% (very feasible); the content aspect obtained a score of 97.5% (very feasible); Learning aspects obtained a score of 95.83% (very feasible); and the Task/Exercise aspect obtained a score of 92.5 (very feasible); and the results of the posttest of students obtained the average overall score of the three aspects of 94.17% (very feasible). Abstract

This study discusses the transformation of Islamic education in fulfilling children's rights in the digital era, with a special emphasis on the rights to education, protection, and involvement of children. This study uses a qualitative methodology based on literature and investigates research and policies on technology, education, and children's rights. The results show that digital technology brings many benefits, such as more efficient information delivery, more dynamic teacher-student interactions, and increased accessibility of learning. However, there are also major challenges, such as the digital divide, lack of technological literacy among educators and students, and threats to children's safety while in the digital environment. This study shows how important it is to incorporate technology into the curriculum, create inclusive policies, and raise digital awareness based on Islamic values in Islamic education. Technology-based curriculum innovation, active participation of children in learning, and strengthening digital literacy for all stakeholders are all ways that Islamic education can change. Collaboration between Islamic educational institutions and technology providers, as well as policies that support digital inclusion and protection of children, are some of the potential futures. In this paper, conceptual and practical foundations are provided to make Islamic education more relevant and responsive in the digital era.
