Abstract

Anxiety is an emotional condition characterized by feelings of worry or fear without a clear cause and is commonly experienced by pregnant women, especially in the third trimester. Anxiety during pregnancy can negatively affect maternal and fetal health, increasing the risk of pregnancy complications, impaired fetal development, and difficult labor. The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that approximately 15% of pregnant women experience anxiety, which may increase to 30% in first pregnancies. In Indonesia, the prevalence of anxiety among pregnant women is 28.7%, while in Sumatra it reaches 52.35%. Data from Baso Public Health Center in 2024 showed that 40% of third-trimester pregnant women experienced anxiety symptoms. One important factor influencing maternal anxiety is husband’s support. This study aimed to determine the relationship between husband’s support and anxiety levels among third-trimester pregnant women at Baso Public Health Center in 2025. This study used a quantitative cross-sectional design involving 30 third-trimester pregnant women selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a husband’s support questionnaire and the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) and analyzed using Chi-square tests. The results showed that 56.7% of respondents did not experience anxiety and 53.3% received husband’s support. A significant relationship was found between husband’s support and anxiety levels (p = 0.001).

Abstract

Background: There are many growth and development problems that occur in children, including stunting. Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children under five due to chronic malnutrition so that children are too short for their age. Malnutrition occurs from the time the baby is in the womb and in the early period after the baby is born, however, stunting conditions are only visible after the baby is 2 years old. Thus the period of 1000 HPK should receive special attention because it determines the growth rate of physique, intelligence, and productivity in the future. In 2020, the national stunting prevalence rate was 27.6%. In Bukittinggi city, the stunting rate in 2021 is 19%. This figure is still far from the national target for 2024 to 14%. Given the importance of stunting prevention, researchers are interested in conducting research on the Influence of 1000 HPK Video Media on Increasing Knowledge and Attitudes of Uisa Subur Couples as Stunting Prevention Efforts at the Guguk Panjang Health Center.Purpose: To determine the influence of health promotion media videos about 1000 HPK on increasing knowledge and changing attitudes of mothers of couples of childbearing age as an effort to reduce the incidence of stuntingMethods: This study is a quasi-experimental study, which uses a one-group pre-test post test design, with a sample of 18 people in the Guguk Panjang Health Center work area. Results: The results showed that before being given education through video media about 1000 HPK, the average maternal knowledge was 7.44 and after it was carried out it became 9.61. The average attitude of mothers before being given education was 34.88 and after it was carried out it was 37.88.Conclusion: There is an influence of 1000 HPK video media education as an effort to prevent stunting on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of mothers of couples of childbearing age at the Guguk Panjang health center..

Abstract

The elderly population in Indonesia has a high prevalence of hypertension reaching 63.2%. This physical condition is exacerbated by anxiety reaching 45-60% in hypertensive elderly people in nursing homes who have not received comprehensive non-pharmacological interventions. This activity aims to empower the elderly in managing anxiety through the application of a combination of Mindfulness therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). The program involves hypertensive elderly. The implementation method is carried out through the preparation stage, implementation; health education, demonstrations, hands-on practice of mindfulness and EFT therapy, mentoring, and evaluation of ability to practice therapy, and anxiety levels before and after the intervention using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) and structured questionnaires. This activity is supported by educational media in the form of pocket books and therapy guide videos. The results of the activity showed an increase in the knowledge and skills of the elderly in conducting therapy independently, a decrease in anxiety levels. The combination of mindfulness therapy and EFT has been shown to be effective in improving the ability of the elderly to manage anxiety and can be applied sustainably as a non-pharmacological approach to improve the quality of life of the elderly with hypertension.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of nature-based moral education in enhancing the understanding and practice of morals among autistic students through the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Moral education is crucial for autistic students to foster better social interactions and adaptive moral comprehension. This study employed a qualitative approach utilizing a case study method, involving participatory observation, in-depth interviews with educators and parents, and relevant document analysis. The research subjects were autistic students in an inclusive educational institution that had implemented a nature-based moral education program. Key findings indicate that the natural environment, rich in sensory and interactive stimuli, significantly facilitated the learning of moral concepts such as honesty, patience, and empathy. The application of ABA principles, including positive reinforcement and gradual behavior shaping, proved effective in guiding autistic students to internalize and express desired moral behaviors within natural contexts. The conclusion of this study affirms that nature-based moral education combined with ABA principles is a promising strategy for character development in autistic students, promoting their independence, and improving their quality of life
