Abstract

Problems in PAI learning are often encountered, namely the superiority of PAI learning is still low, how to educate parents, environment, climate, strict teachers. The purpose of this study is to describe the model, preparation, implementation, evaluation, follow-up and analysis of the learning constraints of the LMS model in PAI learning. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach that is critical-analyst with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are: (1) The use of technology is very important to support modern learning activities; (2) In planning learning with LMS, the teacher makes syllabus and lesson plans, determines, designs the methods and media used when learning with LMS; (3) The implementation of PAI learning begins with greetings, opening by the teacher, checking student attendance, providing stimulus, providing teaching materials by presenting teaching materials using LMS; (4) In the evaluation there are affective, cognitive and psychomotor assessments, with supporting applications such as quizizz, interactive videos, google forms, for UTS and UAS using the LMS application with integrated questions from Al-Azhar Center; (5) Follow-up to PAI learning requires training and socialization of LMS; (6) Factors inhibiting PAI learning with LMS: LMS system disturbances, internet network disturbances, display features and notifications on the Al-Azhar LMS are out of sync, the smartphone LMS application needs to be upgraded

Abstract

Mentally retarded children are a classification of children with special needs who have cognitive deficiencies because mentally retarded children only have an IQ of approximately 30-70. The shortcomings possessed by mentally retarded children become a basis for parents, teachers and people around them so that they receive opportunities and proper treatment from their environment as received by normal individuals. This research was carried out at SLBN 2 Padang because this school is one of the Special Schools (SLB) which has the largest number of mentally retarded students in Padang. The problems explored in this research are the lesson plans used by PAI teachers in learning, the PAI learning process for mentally retarded children, evaluation of PAI learning for mentally retarded children, inhibiting and supporting factors in PAI learning for mentally retarded children at SLBN 2 Padang. This research uses a qualitative approach aimed at describing, analyzing phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually and in groups. The results of the research show that the lesson plans used by PAI teachers in terms of format are the same as those used in normal schools, however the KI, KD and indicators have been lowered according to the abilities of mentally retarded children, in the learning process there are differences with children in normal schools even though they have not been implemented optimally. The evaluation carried out is also different from normal children, but it is very unfortunate that PAI teachers at SLBN 2 Padang do not carry out mid-term assessments (PTS).

Abstract

Keragaman agama dan etnis di Sumatera Utara merupakan identitas dan kekayaan bangsa Indonesia, namun hal itu juga menjadi persoalan ketika sentimen etnis menguat melampaui identitas agama dan justru mendorong eksklusivisme dalam bermasyarakat. Sementara di sisi lain, pemahaman dan partisipasi warga dalam beragama justru melemah. Hal inilah yang dialami oleh masyarakat etnik Jawa-Melayu di Desa Tanjung Mulia. Artikel ini membahas kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dengan fokus pada penguatan moderasi beragama bagi masyarakat etnik Jawa-Melayu sebagai strategi mengatasi rendahnya partisipasi beragama dan eksklusivisme antaretnis di Desa Tanjung Mulia. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 1 bulan, melibatkan 27 orang mahasiswa KKN 80 UINSU, menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) untuk memahami persoalan, merancang dan melaksanakan rangkaian program intervensi dalam rangka penguatan moderasi beragama. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa program penguatan moderasi beragama melalui (1) perayaan Muharram; (2) pengajian anak-anak; (3) gotong royong berkelanjutan; (4) perayaan dan lomba Agustusan, telah berhasil mengubah eksklusivisme antara suku Jawa dan Melayu secara perlahan, dan meningkatkan pemahaman dan partisipasi warga dalam aktivitas keagamaan di desa. Abstract

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) merupakan salah satu gangguan saraf perifer yang umum terjadi, terutama pada individu dengan aktivitas berulang yang melibatkan pergelangan tangan. Edukasi mengenai pencegahan dan penanganan CTS sangat penting untuk meningkatkan pemahaman komunitas berisiko, seperti kelompok ibu-ibu penggiat rebana yang sering menggunakan tangan dalam aktivitas musik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang CTS melalui metode ceramah dengan media leaflet dan demonstrasi. Materi edukasi mencakup pengenalan CTS, faktor risiko, gejala, pencegahan, dan teknik latihan rehabilitasi. Demonstrasi praktis meliputi Phalen Test dan Tinnel Test untuk mendeteksi CTS, serta nerve gliding exercise untuk mengurangi gejala dan meningkatkan fungsi saraf. Metode ini diterapkan pada komunitas ibu-ibu rebana di lingkungan tertentu, dengan pendekatan partisipatif untuk memastikan pemahaman dan keterlibatan peserta. Edukasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model intervensi kesehatan yang aplikatif dan relevan untuk kelompok komunitas serupa.

Abstract

Background: WEF (World Economic Forum) data in 2022 shows an increase in the number of hijab users in Indonesia by 5.7%. It seems that easily accessible social media is one of the factors influencing the growth of the fashion industry. because anyone can see, create and even spread ideas, concepts and works with various purposes. Methods: This study employs a qualitative approach with content analysis of social media platforms, interviews with Muslim celebrities, and literature reviews on the commodification of religion and fashion trends. Data collection focuses on identifying the motives behind hijab fashion promotion and its impact on public perception. Findings: The Islamic cultural industry creates opportunities for the commodification of religion, particularly through the fashion industry in Indonesia. Muslim celebrities use social media to influence hijab fashion trends, which carry both positive and negative meanings. Social media serves as a platform for interaction, inspiration, and sharing experiences, making hijab fashion more modern and increasingly secular. Conclusions: The study finds that social media plays a crucial role in shaping hijab fashion trends in Indonesia, driven by the dual motives of Muslim celebrities—ranging from attraction and inspiration to existential expression. This phenomenon reflects the commodification of religion, where hijab fashion is increasingly modernized and secularized, blurring traditional religious boundaries and reinforcing consumer-driven identities. Novelty/Originality of This Study: The novelty of this study lies in its exploration of the dual motives of Muslim celebrities in shaping hijab fashion trends through social media, highlighting the commodification of religion and the evolving modern-secular interpretation of hijab.

Abstract

Depressions among women, especially young women can happen due to the lack of support systems around them. Thus, it is important to create a support system where women can thrive from the support given to them. In this regard, Rahasia Gadis, an online community developed aims to provide a support system for women, especially young ones. This research analyzed the effectiveness of messages given in the #DariGadisKeGadis, an online campaign created by Rahasia Gadis to the participants’ eagerness to create a support system for people, especially young women around them. This research used a descriptive quantitative research design. This research applied a convenience sampling technique to obtain the participants. The results of this research indicate the positive impacts of the #DariGadisKeGadis campaign’s messages to the participants' willingness to develop a support system.

Abstract

Low back pain (LBP) merupakan salah satu keluhan muskuloskeletal yang sering dialami oleh pekerja, terutama mereka yang bekerja dalam posisi duduk dalam waktu yang lama, seperti operator CC (Container Crane) di PT. X. Posisi duduk yang statis dan tidak ergonomis dapat meningkatkan risiko LBP, yang berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas dan kualitas hidup pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara lama duduk dengan kejadian low back pain pada pekerja operator CC di PT. X. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan pengambilan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 32 operator CC di PT. X. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji chis quare untuk melihat hubungan antara lama duduk dan kejadian low back pain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara lama duduk dan kejadian low back pain pada pekerja operator CC (p < 0,05). Semakin lama durasi duduk, semakin tinggi intensitas keluhan low back pain yang dilaporkan oleh responden. Lama duduk berhubungan signifikan dengan kejadian low back pain pada pekerja operator CC di PT. X. Disarankan untuk menerapkan program intervensi ergonomi dan peregangan rutin guna mengurangi risiko LBP serta meningkatkan kesehatan dan produktivitas pekerja.

Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai negara yang terdiri dari beragam suku, agama, ras, dan budaya, menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa, terutama di Sumatera Utara yang memiliki tingkat heterogenitas tinggi. Forum Pembauran Kebangsaan (FPK) Sumatera Utara hadir sebagai wadah untuk memperkuat persatuan melalui program-program seperti dialog antaragama, workshop kebangsaan, dan mediasi konflik sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk menganalisis peran strategis FPK dalam menciptakan harmoni sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FPK berhasil memediasi konflik adat dan agama, meningkatkan literasi media, serta membangun kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya toleransi dan kerukunan. Melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan kerjasama dengan lembaga pendidikan, FPK telah menjadi mediator dan fasilitator yang efektif dalam memperkuat persatuan dan kesatuan masyarakat di Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

This study examines judges' interpretations in deciding divorce cases based on the grounds of “continuous disputes” and “no hope of living harmoniously anymore.” These reasons are often used as legal bases by plaintiffs or defendants in divorce proceedings in Indonesia, as stipulated in Article 39 paragraph (2) of Law Number 1 of 1974 on Marriage and Article 19 letter (f) of Government Regulation Number 9 of 1975. The study aims to analyze how judges interpret these terms within the context of law and facts presented during trials. The research specifications used in this study are descriptive analysis, namely describing the facts in detail about the object of research so that problems are found in the form of inconsistencies between applicable regulations and practices that occur in the field, then trying to analyze and find a way out of a problem. This research is a normative legal research supported by empirical, namely research that continues to emphasize secondary data accompanied by taking samples of empirical data as implementation practices in the field. Secondary data consists of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The way to obtain data in this study is by conducting a study of library materials in the form of legal literature and legislation. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed using a qualitative legal method, which is closely related to the type of research categorized as normative legal research whose approach is more abstract-theoretical. The research findings indicate that judges' interpretations are based on evidence submitted by the parties, such as witness statements, documentary evidence, and facts about marital life revealed during the proceedings. “Continuous disputes” are defined as recurring conflicts that remain unresolved despite efforts for mediation or peaceful resolution. Meanwhile, “no hope of living harmoniously anymore” refers to a marital relationship that has become disharmonious and irreparable based on solid evidence. In making decisions, judges also consider principles of justice, the welfare of children (if any), and the impact of divorce on the parties involved. The study concludes that judges’ interpretations are dynamic and highly case-specific, requiring a comprehensive approach to ensure that rulings address legal, social, and moral aspects appropriately.

Abstract

This study examines the curriculum and learning processes implemented at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan and Pembangunan Islamic Elementary School, focusing on integrating character values. Utilizing a qualitative research methodology, the investigation collects data through in-depth interviews, direct observations of classroom activities, and analyses of relevant documents, all aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the educational practices at these institutions. The findings indicate that both Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan and Bina Insani Elementary School exhibit distinctive learning characteristics that set them apart from other Islamic educational institutions. The academic policies at these schools have successfully embraced digital learning models that are closely aligned with character education. This approach effectively fosters essential character values among students, including a heightened sense of responsibility and a strong discipline regarding the appropriate use of information technology. The results suggest that the integration of digital learning with character education can substantially enhance the overall development of students within Islamic educational environments.
