Abstract

The topic of this research is conflict between classes in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. This study aims to describe the conflict between classes that occurs in the novel Tere Liye Si Anak Badai. The method used is a qualitative research method. The data source in this study is the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye published by Publisher Republika in August 2019. The data in this study are words, sentences and paragraphs that contain conflicts between classes in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation technique. The analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a conflict between classes that occurs in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. This class conflict occurs between the upper and lower classes. The upper class was represented by Pak Alex, Camat Tiong, Utusan Gubernur, and Pak Mustar. The lower class was represented by the Captain, Wak Sidik, Wak Tukal, Paman Deham, the children of Manowa, Zaenal, and residents of Manowa village. The difference in interests between the upper and lower groups is very obvious, the upper class wants Manowa village land to be used as a port, while the lower class wants the port construction to be canceled because it is considered detrimental to the people of Manowa Village. Conflict is divided into vertical conflict and horizontal conflict. Data about horizontal conflicts or conflicts that occur between degrees such as between ethnic groups or religions are not shown because this study focuses on research between classes that are included in vertical conflict

Abstract

This study entitiled “Analysis of Forms of Violence in Children in Arafat Nur's Novel Bayang Suram Pelangi". The problem in this researchd is how the forms of violence against children in the novel Bayang Suram Pelangi by Arafat Nur. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of violence against children in Arafat Nur's novel Bayang Suram Pelangi. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data source of this research is the novel by Arafat Nur, namely Bayang Suram Pelangi (2018). Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques. Data analysis was done qualitatively by reading the novel repeatedly, then describing or explaining the forms of violence contained in the novel comprehensively. The resultsd showed that there were four forms of violence, namely physical violence which was carried out by hitting and kicking, psychological violence which caused fear, worry, helplessness, and insecurity, verbal violence which was carried out using harsh words, insults, and threats, social violence perpetrated by exclusion. Of the four forms of violence, the most dominant thing experienced by child characters is psychological violence.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Ability of Middle School Students in Banda Aceh in Answering the Problems of Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) on Indonesian Language Learning". The problem this study is how the ability of junior high schoolstudents throughout Banda Aceh in answering the questions Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in learning Indonesian. The purpose of this study is that researchers can determine the ability of junior high school students throughout the city of Banda Aceh in answering questions on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in learning Indonesian. Population of this study was the eighth grade students the three junior high schools in Banda Aceh, namely the State Middle School 1 Banda Aceh, the State Middle School 2 Banda Aceh, and the State Middle School 18 Banda Aceh academic year 2018-2019. Students from the three junior high schools numbered 598 people and sample of this study was 66 students. The method used in this research quantitative descriptive method. This research data was collected through test techniques. Analyzing data using simple statistical techniques that are quantitative. The results showed that the ability students to answer the questions Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) was 42 and included in the less category. The average score obtained by students, namely (a) Junior high school 1 Banda Aceh received a score of 52 included in the less category (b) Junior high school 2 Banda Aceh received a score of 54 and was included in the category of less, (c) Junior high school 18 Banda Aceh received a score 30 and included in the Less category. The conclusions of this study indicate that junior high school students throughout the city of Banda Aceh have not been able to answer the questions Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Sharks have been international problems since 2013 after the emergence of several species of shark in Appendix II CITES status. This is due to the high exploitation of shark fishing, both as a target catch and as a by-catch. This study entitled the identification of shark species caught in the North Aceh Waters, which aims to identify the species of the shark located in the North Aceh Waters and to determine the conservation status of the shark species. The study was conducted at Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Lampulo (PPS Lampulo) for three months, starting from February 2017 to April 2017. The method used in this research is survey method and shark identification done by Rapid Assessment (rapid estimation), refers to the methods undertaken by Fahmi and White (2006). From the results of the observation, sharks identified as many as 747 individuals consisting of 16 families, 20 genus and 32 species of shark. Of these, there are several species included in the IUCN red list, i.e. 1 species with EN category (threatened), 10 species in the VU category (vulnerable), and 13 species in the NT category (Near Threatened). In addition, 4 shark species are categorized into Appendix II CITES status.       Hiu telah menjadi permasalahan internasional sejak tahun 2013, setelah masuknya beberapa spesies hiu dalam status apendiks II CITES.Hal ini disebabkan oleh tingginya ekploitasi penangkapan hiu, baik sebagai tangkapan target maupun sebagai tangkapan sampingan.Penelitian ini berjudul identifikasi spesies hiu yang tertangkap di Perairan Utara Aceh, yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi spesies hiu yang berada di Perairan Utara Aceh dan untuk mengetahui status konservasi spesies hiu tersebut.Penelitian dilakukan pada Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Lampulo (PPS Lampulo) selama tiga bulan, dimulai saat bulan Februari 2017 hingga April 2017.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dan identifikasi hiu dilakukan secara Rapid Assessment (pendugaan secara cepat), mengacu pada metode yang dilakukan oleh Fahmi dan White (2006). Dari hasil pengamatan, berhasil teridentifikasi sebanyak 747 individu terdiri dari 16 family, 20 genus dan 32 spesies hiu. Dari jumlah hiu tersebut terdapat beberapa spesies yang masuk dalam IUCN red list yaitu, 1 spesies dengan kategori EN (terancam), 10 spesies dengan kategori VU (rawan), dan 13 spesies dengan kategori NT (hampir terancam). Selain itu 4 spesies hiu masuk kedalam status Appendix II CITES.

Abstract

Work discipline is the actual practice of employees of the set of rules contained in an organization, based on this it is expected that the effectiveness of employees will increase attitude and conduct discipline. Employee discipline can be enforced if the rules that have been enforced can be overcome by most employees in reality, that in an agency what if most of its employees obey all the rules that have been set, then employee discipline can already be established. The purpose of this study is to find out the work discipline of employees at the Rokan Hilir Regency Population and Civil Registry Service, To find out the factors that influence employee discipline in the Rokan Hilir Regency Population and Civil Registry Service.       This study uses a qualitative research method of data collection techniques, namely observation, Interview, literature study. The results of the study show that the performance discipline of employees at the Rokan Hilir Population and Civil Registry Service has not yet proceeded as expected, this can be seen from the stages of the interview results discipline problems of awareness and willingness, From the results of the interview it can be said that the awareness of employees in terms of the implementation of tasks has been running but has not run smoothly in line with expectations because there are still delays in completing tasks, basically employees should be on time and responsible for completing tasks assigned to each field of work. From the results of the study, researchers found factors that hinder the discipline of employee performance at the Rokan Hilir Regency Population and Civil Registry Service, namely first. One of the factors that influences the discipline of these employees is actually the leader because the leader is firm and fair. employee in acting, supervision is also very important for employees, then if supervision is lacking then things that are not right happen as it happens, namely one of them many employees go home early. Keywords : Disclipine, Work, Employee

Abstract

Neem leaves contain flavonoid, triterpenoid and saponin compounds that have antifertility potential to suppress of reproduction rate of rodentia pests. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of neem leaf ethanol extract on gonadosomatic index (GSI), number and size of atresia follicles in female mice. This study used a Completely Randomized Design Method consist of 5 treatments and 4 replications namely K + (Contraceptive Pills); K- (Aqua); P1, P2 and P3 (Treatment of neem leaf ethanol extract at dosage of 8.4 mg / kgBW, 11.2 mg / kgBW and 14 mg / kgBW). The treatment was administered orally at a volume of 0.2 ml / animal every morning for 21 days. Measurement of body weight was conducted at the beginning of treatment and every 7 days. The ovaries were isolated, weighed and histologically processed using paraffin method and H & E staining. the number and diameter of atresia follicles were counted on ovaries. The data was analyzed using ANOVA test and DMRT test at 95% confidence level. The results showed that neem leaf ethanol extract had no significant effect GSI and diameter of atresia follicle but had significant effect on the number of atresia follicle. It can be concluded that neem leaf ethanol extract can increase the number of atresia follicle in mice by suppressing the synthesis and action of reproductive hormone. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of foreign ownership, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, capital structure, company size to company performance. The capital structure in this study is calculated through debt equity ratio (DER) and firm size was calculated with logarithma of total asset. While the bound variable in this research is measured by return on asset (ROA). This study was conducted on property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2011-2015. The samples studied were 36 companies obtained by purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data obtained by using documentation method. Data analysis method used in this research was multiple linear regression. The simultaneous test results of ownership structure, capital structure, firm size have significant effect to company performance. Partial test of foreign ownership does not have on effect on company performance. Managerial ownership does not have on effect on company performance. Instutitional ownership has a significant effect on company performance. Capital structure has a significant effect on company performance. Abstract

ABSTRACT Leptospirosis is an acute infectious disease caused by Leptospira sp bacteria and has zoonotic properties. This disease is passed on through contact with the urine of infected rat or with contaminated water and food. Confirmed cases of Leptospirosis-infected rats in Donggala Regency have been reported thus, there is a potential of it being a reservoir that can pass on the bacteria to humans. This research aims to identify the leptospira bacteria reservoir that infects rats and humans that infects rats and humans using observational descriptive research design with a cross-sectional study. Human serum samples were obtained from patients, treated at the local public health center with clinical leptospirosis symptoms. Mouse serum samples were obtained from local rat captured during three consecutive days collections in three villages. The confirmation of the existence of leptospirosis bacteria on human and rat serum samples was conducted using the MAT method. The tested serovars were Bangkinang, Grippothyphosa, Icterohaemorhagic, Canicola, Pyrogen, Sejreo, Hebdomadis, Pomona, Djasiman, Bataviae, Mini, Sarmin, Manhao, Tarassovi. The research showed that leptospirosis bacteria was found in two species, e.g. Rattus tanezumi (86,27%) and Rattus norvegicus (13,72%). Agglutination was found in human serum samples at titer dilution 1:10 and 1:20, with serovar type of Bangkinang, Icterohaemorrhagie, Djasiman, Hebdomanis, Manhao, Mini, Pyrogen dan Batavia. However that titer couldn not be confirmed positive for leptospirosis. Infection in rat was found at 25,49% with titer dilution of 1:10, with serovar type of Bangkinang, Icterohaemorrhagie, Djasiman, Hebdomanis, Djasiman, Mini, dan Batavia. Based on the research, potential of infection from rat to humans is found. The proposed suggestion is to maintain a good domestic hygiene to prevent contact with rat urine which can be a source of leptospirosis infection. ABSTRAK Leptospirosis adalah penyakit infeksi akut yang disebabkan bakteri Leptospira sp dan bersifat zoonosis. Penyakit ini ditularkan melalui kontak dengan urin tikus yang terinfeksi atau melalui air dan makanan yang terkontaminasi. Konfirmasi tikus yang terinfeksi oleh Leptospira di Kabupaten Donggala telah dilaporkan sehingga berpotensi sebagai reservoir yang menularkan bakteri tersebut ke manusia. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi serovar bakteri leptospira yang menginfeksi tikus dan manusia dengan menggunakan desain penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan studi potong lintang. Sampel serum manusia diperoleh dari pasien yang berobat ke puskesmas dengan gejala klinis Leptospira menggunakan kriteria WHO SEARO 2009. Sampel serum tikus diperoleh dari tikus yang ditangkap selama tiga hari di tiga desa. Konfirmasi keberadaan bakteri Leptospira pada sampel serum manusia dan tikus dilakukan dengan metode MAT. Serovar yang diujikan antara lain Bangkinang, Grippothyphosa, Icterohaemorhagic, Canicola, Pyrogen, Sejreo, Hebdomadis, Pomona, Djasiman, Bataviae, Mini, Sarmin, Manhao, Tarassovi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ditemukan manusia yang positif leptospirosis, melainkan hanya tikus yang ditemukan positif leptospirosis (25,49%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan tujuh jenis serovar bakteri Leptospira di lokasi penelitian, yaitu: Bangkinang, Icterohaemorrhagie, Djasiman, Hebdomanis, Manhao, Mini, Pyrogen dan Batavia. Saran yang dapat dikemukakan adalah pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan rumah untuk menghindari kontak dengan air kencing tikus yang bisa menjadi sumber penularan leptospirosis.

Abstract

This research stems from the lack of variety of learning media in teaching and learning activities soit is necessary to develop interesting funny products in the form of comics as learning media. Thisresearch describes three items, the first is the development proses of environment-based Islamiccomic media. The second is expediency of environment-based Islamic comic media. The thirth isthe response of educator and student toward environment-based Islamic comic learning media inclass IV SD/MI. This research is a research and development study by ADDIE model whichincludes 5 steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation evaluation. The productfeasibility test was conducted by several validators, namely 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 2linguists, 1 religious expert, 3 class IV teachers on class IV. The research results showed thatenvironmentl-based Islamic comic learning media gained an average percentage of material expertsat 93% with a very decent category, media experts got a score of 80% with a decent category,linguists got a score of 85% with a very decent category, ratings educators get an averagepercentage of 90.75% with a very decent category and the response of students get an averagepercentage of 96% with a very decent category. This shows that Islamic environment-based comicsthat have been developed are very suitable for use as learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) to describe the online game addiction managementplanning in KKPI learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Gemolong, (2) to describethe implementation of online game addiction management in KKPI learningat SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Gemolong, (3) to describe evaluation from the onlinegame addiction management at SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Gemolong. The researchwas conducted with a kind of qualitative research with ethnographic approachdesign. With tkeknik data collection is in-depth interviews, documentation andobservation. Data analysis use an interactive analysis model. The results of thisstudy are; (1) online game addiction management planning with identification oflearners, searching for appropriate learning game reference, making lesson plansand evaluation instruments; (2) implementation of online game addiction in learningKKPI in accordance with the planning that has been made and implemented to adjustthe current situation; and (3) evaluation of online game addiction in KKPI learningdone during daily test, mid semester test and final semester test.
