Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a high level of cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, which poses challenges in maintaining religious harmony. Issues such as inter-religious conflict, stereotypes, and a lack of cross-cultural understanding are obstacles to social harmony. This study aims to analyze the role of cross-cultural education in building tolerance, moderation, and harmony among religious communities in Indonesia. The research method used is library research, through the collection and analysis of literature in the form of scientific journals, books, academic articles, and relevant documents. The results show that cross-cultural education has a different conceptual basis from multicultural education, with a focus on fostering tolerance through interactions between individuals from different cultural and religious backgrounds. In addition, the dynamics of religious harmony in Indonesia are influenced by historical and political factors, local cultural values, and social conditions, which can either support or hinder the creation of harmony. Cross-cultural education is implemented in formal and non-formal institutions to foster mutual respect and interfaith cooperation, including through religious moderation programs and dialogue- and empathy-based learning. Its implementation in schools and universities involves learning strategies, the active role of educators, policy support, and facing various challenges, but it still opens up opportunities for the development of a sustainable cross-cultural education model. It can therefore be concluded that cross-cultural education plays an important role in shaping tolerant, moderate, and respectful attitudes towards diversity, both in theory and in social practice. With policy support, competent educators, and the use of technology, cross-cultural education can be a strategic instrument in maintaining religious harmony in Indonesia and strengthening national unity.

Abstract

Food security is a global issue that plays a crucial role in achieving food self-sufficiency and poverty reduction. At the national level, Indonesia emphasizes community empowerment, particularly women’s participation, as a key strategy for strengthening sustainable food security through the utilization of local resources. One of its practical implementations is the empowerment of Kelompok Wanita Tani (Women Farmers Group/KWT) in food cultivation and processing activities. This study aims to analyze the impact of seed assistance and food processing technology support on improving household food security in Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using secondary data from the Food Security Agency of Indragiri Hulu Regency (2025) and national literature indexed by SINTA. The findings reveal that seed and food processing equipment assistance programs contribute to increasing food consumption diversification and strengthening household economies, particularly in priority areas for stunting reduction. However, program sustainability remains suboptimal due to the lack of monitoring systems, technical assistance, and market access for processed products. Therefore, this study recommends integrating empowerment programs with digital monitoring systems, strengthening KWT institutions, and enhancing local policy support to build sustainable household-based food self-sufficiency.

Abstract

Four-wheeled Motor Vehicle Tax is one type of tax in Makassar City based on Law Number 28 of 2009 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Levies and South Sulawesi Governor Regulation Number 90 of 2018 concerning Special Regional Taxes for Motor Vehicle Tax and Motor Vehicle Title Transfer Fee. This policy is stipulated in South Sulawesi Provincial Regulation No. 90 of 2018 concerning Special Regional Taxes for Motor Vehicle Tax and Motor Vehicle Title Transfer Fee. Based on the results of the analysis regarding the provisions for the implementation of the progressive tax for four-wheeled vehicles, it can be explained that there is a strong indication of progressive tax avoidance by taxpayers. This is evident from the continued decrease in the total revenue from four-wheeled vehicle tax after the progressive tax was implemented from 2018-2021. This is because, when the progressive tax was imposed, the progressive tax collection rate was considered too high by the public due to the large tax amount that had to be paid. Consequently, people purchase vehicles without putting them in their own names..

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning management in the subject of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in shaping the discipline of grade VII students at MTs Negeri Samarinda. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of one PPKn teacher and four students of grade VII who were selected through purposive sampling techniques based on variations in the level of discipline of different students. Data was obtained through in-depth observation and interviews to explore the implementation of learning management and students' responses to the application of discipline in the classroom. The results of the study showed that PPKn teachers manage learning through structured planning, organization, direction, and supervision, so as to be able to foster student discipline in four main aspects: neatness of dress, punctuality, task completion, and behavior during learning activities. Students in general have shown a good, disciplined attitude, although there are still some obstacles such as differences in learning styles and limited learning time. Overall, the learning management implemented by teachers plays an important role in shaping the culture of discipline in madrasas, and needs to be supported by habituation and continuous strengthening.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan akhlak terhadap diri sendiri dengan perilaku menyimpang remaja dalam kerangka Pendidikan Islam. Latar belakang masalah mencakup kerentanan remaja terhadap penyimpangan seperti penyalahgunaan narkoba, judi, dan kekerasan akibat pelemahan kontrol diri dan kesadaran moral. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengintegrasikan konsep akhlak Islam yang mencakup pemeliharaan fisik, mental, kehormatan, waktu, serta taubat melalui muraqabah dan muhasabah dengan faktor penyebab perilaku menyimpang, baik internal (kontrol diri lemah, kurang pemahaman agama) maupun eksternal (keluarga, teman sebaya, media). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui library research dengan sumber pustaka berupa buku, jurnal, dan artikel. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa akhlak terhadap diri sendiri berfungsi sebagai benteng preventif terhadap perilaku menyimpang, yang diperkuat oleh pendidikan akhlak terpadu di keluarga, sekolah (melalui guru agama sebagai panutan), dan masyarakat. Kesimpulan menyatakan bahwa Pendidikan Islam efektif membentuk karakter remaja berakhlak mulia untuk mencegah penyimpangan.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the pedagogical competence of teachers in Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar (independent learning curriculum) at Assalam Elementary School of Bandar Lampung. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research. The subject in this research is lower class teachers totaling 12 teachers. Data collection techniques use interviews and observation. Data analysis techniques in research apply three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The research results display that the pedagogical competence of teachers at Assalam Islamic Elementary School is running well and optimally. There are 5 of the 6 indicators of pedagogical competence in the reasonable category. These indicators include the ability to master student characteristics, master learning theory and educational learning principle, organize educational learning, facilitate the development of student potential, effective communication, and be empathetic towards students. Meanwhile, the indicator of mastering the evaluation of learning outcomes is in the quite good category. In this way, the pedagogical competencies possessed by teachers can be a pioneer of change in realizing the goals of the Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Therefore, mastery of pedagogical competencies which is capable and adaptive is able to navigate the flexibility offered by the independent curriculum and create student-centered learning that is delightful and meaningful.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teori permintaan dan penawaran dalam ekonomi Islam dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya kesenjangan antara praktik pasar kapitalistik yang bebas nilai dengan prinsip syariah yang mengedepankan keadilan, transparansi, dan larangan terhadap riba, gharar, dan maysir. Permasalahan utama yang dikaji adalah sejauh mana teori permintaan dan penawaran dalam ekonomi Islam dapat diimplementasikan dalam sistem pasar modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan menganalisis literatur klasik dan kontemporer. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa teori permintaan dan penawaran dalam Islam mengutamakan kebutuhan (needs) bukan keinginan (wants), serta mengharuskan adanya pengawasan negara melalui lembaga hisbah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai syariah dalam mekanisme pasar membutuhkan sinergi antara regulasi, literasi masyarakat, dan peran institusional. Saran yang diajukan meliputi penguatan lembaga pengawas, redistribusi kekayaan melalui zakat, dan formulasi kebijakan ekonomi berbasis maqashid al-shariah. Kata Kunci: Ekonomi Islam, hisbah, keadilan pasar, mekanisme pasar, permintaan dan penawaran   Abstract This study aims to analyze the theory of demand and supply in Islamic economics through a literature review approach. The background of this research is the gap between value-neutral capitalist market practices and sharia principles that emphasize justice, transparency, and the prohibition of riba, gharar, and maysir. The main issue addressed is the extent to which Islamic economic theories of demand and supply can be implemented in the modern market system. This study applies a qualitative-descriptive method by analyzing classical and contemporary literature. The findings show that Islamic demand and supply emphasize needs (not wants) and require state supervision through the hisbah institution. The conclusion reveals that applying sharia values in market mechanisms requires synergy between regulation, public literacy, and institutional roles. Recommendations include strengthening supervisory bodies, wealth redistribution through zakat, and policy formulation based on maqashid al-shariah. Abstract

This study aims to improve the initial arithmetic skills of first grade students of SD Negeri 207 Gresik through the jarimatika singing method. The background of this study is the low quality of education in Indonesia, which is a challenge for education managers to improve the quality of learning. The method used in this study is a fun learning approach, where a lively classroom atmosphere can arouse children's enthusiasm for learning. Finger aids and the jarimatika singing method have proven effective in helping children master and remember arithmetic materials. This study involved two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, with 29 students as research subjects in each class. The results of the study showed that the experimental class using the jarimatika singing method had an average posttest score of 80.52, while the control class only achieved an average of 68.62. based on the results of data analysis and discussion which can be concluded that there is an influence of the jarimatika singing method on the learning outcomes of first grade students of SD. Because Ho is rejected from the results of Equal Variances Assumed”, the Sig. (2-tailed) value is known to be 0.000 < 0,05, meaning Ho is rejected, thus it can be concluded that there is an influence on the research
