Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the kinds of speech acts performed by Oprah Winfrey. The theory in this research is the speech act theory (locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary acts) from Searle. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were taken from The Oprah Winfrey Show in the episode with special guest stars Celine Dion, Milagros, and Dink Donald.   The results of the research obtained are the most dominant data of perlocutionary act is to get the hearers to do something which occurred in 14 times which represent 28.26%. The highest category of illocutionary acts is directives that occur in 23 times which represent 46.3%. The most dominant illocutionary act of directives is the act of asking that occur in 9 times which represent 18.4%. It happened because Oprah Winfrey as the host often asked the guest stars as the hearers to answer the questions from her as the speaker. It reflects to the purpose of talk show which is to find out and get information from the guest stars, thus the audiences in the studio and the viewers at home could get the information. The hearers were not only the guest stars, but the audiences and the viewers at home also involved. Directives are the most illocutionary acts performed by Oprah Winfrey because she often asked the guest stars to answer the questions from her. It reflects to the purpose of talk show which is to get information. The most dominant data of perlocutionary acts are to get the hearers to do something. It made the talk show became interactive and communicative.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze digital literacy in learning. To analyze digitalliteracy in learning, eight essential aspects are needed, including cultural,cognitive, constructive, communicative, selfconfident, creative, critical, andresponsible. This analysis uses an independent variable, namely digitalliteracy in learning in order to describe and obtain clear informationregarding digital literacy in learning for Economics Education students atFKIP UNTAN. Data collection in this study was carried out by in-depthinterviews. This study uses a snowball sampling technique and the methodused is a qualitative research method that focuses on in-depth analysisrelated to digital literacy in learning. The results of the study show thatdigital literacy in student learning related to eight aspects has been carriedout well but is still not fully optimal. Knowing about various technologiesand understanding how to use them, having awareness and the impact thatwill be made by the students themselves. With digital literacy in learning,students can save time, learn faster, always get the latest information andcan make better decisions.

Abstract

This research was do it because the learning system is still conventional with the lecture method and giving assignments or group work to students using textbooks and LKS and rarely using learning media so that students are less enthusiastic about learning. This study aims to produce Sun Education learning media so that students can more easily follow the lessons. The procedure for this study used the PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation) method by Richey and Klein. This data collection technique is in the form of qualitative data derived from revisions by media experts, interview data, and research questionnaires. With the results of assessments from learning practitioners and students using CVR CVI which are declared valid or suitable for use.

Abstract

The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) globally continues to increase until it triples in 2030, namely 21.3 million (Perkeni, 2019). Physical, psychological, economic and social changes occur due to various complications. Diabetes mellitus, which cannot be completely cured, often results in anxiety and decreases quality of life. The role of patients and families in managing DM is vital because DM is a chronic disease that patients will carry for life (Perkeni, 2019). The research aims to identify family support and the level of anxiety among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Internal Medicine Clinic, Dr. RSUD. Harjono Ponorogo. This research design used cross-sectional research with the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Hensarling's Diabetes Family Support Scale). Data analysis used statistical tests with Spearman's Rink through the SPSS program with α of 5%. The results of the Spearman Rink test obtained a value (p-value = 0.027 ˂ 0.05) indicating that there is a significant relationship between family support and anxiety in patients with diabetes mellitus. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that family support has a significant influence on the level of anxiety among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang peneliti lakukan pada semester Juli-Desember 2020/2021, peneliti menemukan fenomena bahwa tingkat kedisiplinan guru dalam mengumpulkan perangkat pembelajaran masih rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari saat peneliti meminta guru untuk mengumpulkan perangkat pembelajaran masih banyak guru yang tidak mengumpulkan perangkat pembelajaran yang diminta. Terdapat juga guru yang terburu-buru untuk mempersiapkan perangkat pembelajaran saat Kepala Sekolah atau pengawas akan melakukan supervisi kelas. Dari 6 orang guru kelas, jika dirata-ratakan, maka hanya sebesar 60%, guru yang melengkapi perangkat pembelajarannya baik berupa silabus, analisis SK/KD, RPP, prota promes dan bahan ajar. Sementera itu, 40% guru tidak mengumpulkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Sekolah. Prosedur penelitian dalam penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, obeservasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan empat kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 6 orang guru kelas SDN Lebakrejo III yang merupakan guru mata pelajaran peneliti. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembaran obeservasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan sistem reward dan punishment dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru dalam mengumpulkan perangkat pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan dari sebelum diterapkan reward dan punishment, persentase guru yang mengumpulkan perangkat pembelajaran hanya 66,67% dengan yang mengumpulkan tepat waktu hanya sebesar 22,81%. Setelah diterapkan sistem reward dan punishment, maka pada siklus I, guru yang mengumpulkan perangkat pembelajaran menjadi 79,65% dengan persentase yang mengumpulkan tepat waktu adalah 35,79%. Setelah dilakukan siklus II, persentase guru yang mengumpulkan perangkat pembelajaran menjadi 97,54% dengan persentase guru yang mengumpulkan tepat waktu adalah sebesar 81,05%

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini hendak memberikan tambahan pengetahuan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) sejak dini kepada para guru dan siswa SMPN 20 Purworejo yang terletak di Pituruh Purworejo, Jawa Tengah. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra antara lain: (1) keterbatasan akses informasi hukum terlebih tentang pengetahuan HKI, (2) kurangnya wawasan pengetahuan hukum guru dan siswa terkait HKI, dan (3) para guru dan siswa belum pernah mendapatkan penyuluhan HKI. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan edukasi, motivasi dan pelatihan serta pendampingan, dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi dilengkapi pre test dan post test. Hasilnya, terjadi peningkatan signifikan kesadaran dan pemahaman akan pentingnya implementasi budaya HKI dalam proses pembelajaran dan terkait (1) permasalahan keterbatasan akses informasi hukum khususnya HKI telah ditangani dengan baik melalui penyuluhan dan sosialisasi, (2) demikian pula kurangnya wawasan pengetahuan HKI para guru dan siswa telah ditingkatkan, dan (3) edukasi dilakukan, hasilnya mereka termotivasi untuk berbudaya HKI dengan menerapkannya dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Mitra dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah para guru SMAN 36 Jakarta. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra antara lain: (1) kurangnya pelatihan peningkatan literasi, (2) belum dilakukan pengayaan modul belajar sebagai media pembelajaran, dan (3) lemahnya budaya literasi di sekolah. Tujuan program ini agar mitra meningkat kompetensinya dalam berliterasi sesuai dengan bidang mata pelajaran dan keilmuannya, selanjutnya Guru mampu memberi motivasi yang signifikan kepada peserta didiknya sebagai wujud menggerakkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, dan mitra meningkat skillnya dalam pembuatan modul pembelajaran yang inspiratif inovatif sesuai dengan bidang ilmunya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode persuasive dan participatory action. Hasil program ini sangat baik, upaya meningkatkan kompetensi literasi mitra telah dilakukan SMAN 36 Jakarta sejalan dengan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah bekerjasama dengan Tim Abdimas Universitas YARSI. Terkait permasalahan Peningkatan Kompetensi Literasi Guru SMAN 36 Jakarta melalui Implementasi Modul Belajar Guna Menunjang Gerakan Literasi Sekolah telah ditangani dengan baik melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan secara berkesinambungan. Rata-rata angka peningkatan dalam kegiatan Peningkatan Kompetensi Literasi Guru SMAN 36 Jakarta Melalui Implementasi Modul Belajar Guna Menunjang Gerakan Literasi Sekolah sebanyak (40.1%). Mitra pun telah menyiapkan modul pembelajaran sebagai bentuk media pembelajaran guna meningkatkan budaya literasi di sekolah, dan secara bertahap terus diupdate mengikuti kebutuhan pencapaian pembelajaran.

Abstract

The capacity for creative thought is one of the skills that people in the 21st century need to have. Creative thinking ability refers to a person's ability to use their way of thinking to generate new ideas. Teachers must choose the best teaching strategy to provide pupils the chance to be creative. This study seeks to give a general picture of students' capacity for creatively thought about momentum and impulse. This study is quantitative and descriptive. As the research subjects, 57 students from classes XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Menggala participated in the study. The sample for this study was chosen using the cluster random sampling technique. A four-essay creative thinking exam with a reliability score of 0.610 and measures of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The study's findings demonstrate that student have a considerable ability for creative thought. The indicator of fluency in thinking received the highest score of 54.67%, the indicator of flexibility of thinking was 47.2%, the indicator of originality was 34.93%, and the indicator of elaboration received the lowest proportion, 28.27%. This shows that students have the ability to develop different ideas in different ways, but they still have difficulty explaining these ideas.

Abstract

In the learning process, the use of media in learning becomes one that must be used and utilized by teachers, because Learning media has a very important role, by using the teaching and learning process media makes it easier for students to understand a material that will be conveyed. The material presented is mainly for Grade I elementary school students in reading, writing and calculating the beginning (Calistung) contained in the learning of Indonesian language and mathematics. Researchers develop multimedia flash corresponding analysis of student needs. The purpose of this research is to develop flash multimedia as a learning media focusing on reading, writing and counting exercises, and this multimedia makes students more practical, and effective in improving students ' Calistung skills. This research method uses R & D with Lee & Owens model which has 5 stages (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stage). The subjects of this study were first grade students of SDN Jatimulyo 5 as an experimental class and SDN Sukun 3 Malang control, with a total of 20 students in field trials. The results showed that the validity of multimedia multimedia products 83.1%, the practicality of teacher users 91.6%, the practicality of students 95.8%, and the effectiveness of using the Test Independent Sample t-Test GIS (2-tailed) of 0.034 is smaller than the significant level set at 0.05. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that flash multimedia can be developed as a learning medium, in Indonesian and mathematics subjects that focus on reading, writing and counting Grade I elementary school students in improving the ability to read, write and count beginning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah fisika. Metode penelitian ini adalah meta-analisis. Metode penelitian meta-analisis ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu masalah penelitian, pengumpulan data (studi), pengkodean data, analisis data, dan interpretasi. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 8 artikel yang sudah memiliki ISSN. Teknik analisis data menggunakan effect size. Hasil meta-analisis diperoleh effect size sebesar 2,1 yang dikategorikan tinggi. Artinya pengaruh penggunaan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika sebesar 90%.
