Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of diagnostic assessment in the independent curriculum at SMA N 1 Sitiung. This research utilizes a Descriptive method with a Qualitative approach. The participants in this study are two English language teachers in the E phase at SMAN 1 Sitiung. Data were collected from these two English language teachers through audio-recorded interviews. The researcher employed nine research questions using indicators from the diagnostic assessment implementation stage to understand how assessment is conducted by English language teachers. Based on the research findings, it was discovered that diagnostic assessment plays a crucial role for teachers in identifying students' weaknesses and challenges. In terms of implementation, it aligns with the procedures for applying diagnostic assessment to students in English language learning. However, based on data collected through teaching modules, diagnostic assessment results for students, and interview transcripts, it was found that teachers are effectively applying diagnostic assessment in accordance with the existing procedures to identify weaknesses and measure students' abilities.

Abstract

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) states that the number of cases of breast infections that occur in women such as cancer, tumors, mastitis, fibrocustic disease continues to increase, where breast cancer sufferers reach 1.2 million people who are diagnosed, and 12% of them. they. is a breast infection in the form of mastitis in postpartum women, this is due to a lack of knowledge about breast care. Objective: To determine the effect of the role of health workers, sources of information and support from husbands on the compliance of postpartum mothers in breast care. Methods: This type of research is quantitative using a cross sectional study design with a sampling technique using accidental sampling obtained a sample of 42 respondents. Results: The results showed that there was a significant relationship between sources of information and adherence of postpartum mothers to breast care p. The value of 0.028 ≤ α = 0.05, for the role of health workers there is a significant relationship with postpartum breast care compliance. p. value = 0.000 ≤ α = 0.05 and there is a significant relationship between husband's support and adherence to postpartum mothers for breast care p. value = 0.035 ≤ α = 0.05. Suggestion: puskesmas officers or health promotion program holders provide counseling in health education.Key words : Breast Care

Abstract

The aim of this research was to figure out the code mixing that existed in English communication among the students while doing group discussion and to classify the types of code mixing that occurred during this speaking activity. Actually, code mixing may probably happens while English is being taught as the foreign language since we have Indonesian as our first language so that the concept of bilingualism could be built among Indonesian students. For example, the English students of Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat in 2021 Academic year, as the subjects of this research, used code mixing during the speaking activity although most of them are good enough in English. This phenomenon became the big concern for the researchers to do this research by using descriptive qualitative design, because the researchers need to analyze and to describe the types of code mixing. The data of this research are all utterances of code mixing used by the students during the discussion. The instruments were observation, field note and recording. After analyzing the data, the researchers found that there are three main types of code mixing; insertion, alternation and congruent, used by the students while doing discussion. It is hoped that the result of this research make all the teachers aware that the fluency of speaking English could not be obtain since the students allow their mother tongue interfere their English so that the teachers should find out the strategies to avoid code mixing among the students while doing speaking activities.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) always has an impact on changes in human paradigms, both positive and negative. This change in the human paradigm will conflict or not conflict with Indigenous law which is the guideline for the Indigenous law community. The question is, to what extent are the boundaries that guide Indigenous law community that this paradigm change is or is not in conflict with Indigenous law that applies to Indigenous law community, thereby resulting in restrictions on the use of ICT by Indigenous law community? In this research, there are two case studies, namely the development of ICT, which is considered contrary to Indigenous law and the acceptance of ICT development in the Indigenous law community of Baduy Dalam, Baduy Luar, and Kasepuhan Ciptagelar Sukabumi. This research aims to examine the impact of ICT developments on the paradigm of the Indigenous law community of Baduy Dalam, Baduy Luar, and Kasepuhan Ciptagelar so that the results of this research can be used as a reference for the government to determine appropriate regulations for implementing digital transformation programs for Indigenous law community.

Abstract

Abstrak: Determinan Auditor Switching secara Voluntary. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pergantian manajemen, Qualified opinion (Opini Wajar Degan Pengecualian) dan Ukuran perusahaan yang berpengaruh terhadap Auditor Switching (Pergantian Auditor) secara voluntary (sukarela) pada perusahaan Pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun periode 2015-2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kausal asosiatif dan Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 25 .Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan-perusahaan sub pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2015 - 2018. Namun untuk beberapa variabel dibutuhkan data tahun sebelumnya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, yaitu berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Sebanyak 6 perusahaan yang digunakan sebagai sampel perusahaan. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan regresi logistic.  Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa pergantian manajemen, qualifiedopini , dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap auditorswitching secara voluntaryKata Kunci : pergantian Auditor, pergantian manajemen, SukarelaAbstract: Determinants  Of Voluntary Auditor Switching. This research has a purpose to analize the effect of management changes, qualified opinion and size of clien to auditor switching voluntary in mining companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2018 .The type of this research was associativecausal and  the type of data used is secondary data. Data analysis uses SPSS version 25. The population in this research are sub-mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 - 2018.However, for some variables the previous year's data is needed. Data collection method used in this research was purposive sampling, which is based on predetermined criteria. A total of 6 companies were used as sample companies. Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah pukulan lob bulutangkis siswa ekstrakurikuler masih kurang maksimal, sarana dan prasarana siswa pada saat praktek juga belum memadai, sehingga mempengaruhui pukulan lob bulutangkis siswa tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini untuk menciptakan terobosan terbaru dalam siswa ekstrakurikuler yang berprestasi yakni dengan melakukan pengembangan instrumen pukulan lob pada olahraga bulutangkis usia 15-18 tahun. Jenis penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (researce and development/R&D methode). Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang, Teknik penarikan sampel adalah total sampling yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil validasi ahli materi yakni 100% katergori “sangat layak”, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli media yakni 98,55% kategori “sangat layak”, Hasil validitas tes korelasinya adalah 0,836 dengan besarnya kontribusi koefisien determinasinya adalah 69,89, sehingga dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrument tes pukulan lob pada olahraga bulutangkis usia 15-18 tahun tersebut sangat layak untuk digunakan. Kesimpulannya adalah tes tersebut sangat layak untuk digunakan instrument tes pukulan lob pada olahraga bulutangkis usia 15-18 tahun

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi digitalisasi dan branding pada usaha laundry sebagai bagian dari pemberdayaan UMKM di Jalan Polonia, Tunggul Hitam, Kota Padang. Digitalisasi memberikan dampak signifikan bagi pengembangan usaha kecil dan menengah. Namun, masih banyak UMKM, termasuk usaha laundry, yang menghadapi kendala dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital secara optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun usaha laundry di Jalan Polonia telah memanfaatkan media sosial dan sistem pembayaran digital, penggunaan teknologi digital dan strategi branding masih terbatas. Tantangan utamanya adalah rendahnya literasi digital dan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yang terampil dalam pengelolaan media digital. Meskipun memiliki loyalitas pelanggan yang baik, usaha laundry ini belum mampu memaksimalkan potensi digitalisasi untuk memperluas pasar. Fitriyani (2021) menyebutkan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial dapat memperkuat identitas branding UMKM secara efektif. Oleh karena itu, pemberdayaan UMKM melalui pelatihan digitalisasi dan penguatan strategi branding sangat penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing usaha laundry di pasar lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency. This study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative experimental method. The research subjects were 74 people (37 students in grades VII, C and E). Multiple-choice objective tests in the form of pretest and posttest are used as data collection techniques, and observation guides are used as data collection tools. The hypothesis was tested by paired sample t-test, and Shapiro Wilk's normality test was used in the data analysis method. Empirical evidence shows that the STAD model has been effectively applied in an educational environment. The results of the analysis showed that before and after the test of the normality test of the experimental class. After that, a parametric hypothesis test was carried out, and the results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance level (asymbiotic growth) of the asymptotic sig of 0.000<0.05 for the type of 2-tailed cooperative learning type which represents the 2-tailed asymptotic sig cooperative learning model. The STAD model influences students' learning goals.

Abstract

One of the common problems faced by MSMEs is ineffective and efficient financial management. Many MSME owners experience obstacles in budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and controlling expenses. As a result, the sustainability and growth of MSMEs are hampered and may even fail. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve the understanding and financial management skills of MSMEs to support sustainable business growth. To overcome this problem, literacy on MSME financial management was held which was followed by MSMEs in Mukim Singkir Village, Yan Kedah. This activity is a community service cooperation between Universitas Islam Riau and University Utara Malaysia. The methods used are exposure to literacy materials, simple practice, and case discussion. The results obtained were an increase in participants' understanding and skills related to financial management which included: Financial recording, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, accounts payable and receivable management, financial analysis, and cost and expenditure control.

Abstract

Abstrak Penyakit degeneratif sering terjadi di masyarakat, termasuk di Pulau Pari Kepulauan Seribu. Tindakan untuk mencegah dan mengobati penyakit tersebut membutuhkan pendekatan yang kuat dalam komunikasi, informasi, dan pembelajaran. Artikel ini menjelaskan program pengabdian masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kesadaran warga Pulau Pari Kepulauan Seribu tentang penyakit degeneratif. Kegiatan ini diarahkan oleh seorang apoteker yang juga menjadi dosen di Program Studi Profesi Apoteker Fakultas Farmasi dan Sains Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA (PSPA FFS UHAMKA), melalui metode penyuluhan, kampanye, dan pembentukan kelompok diskusi. Sebanyak 20 warga dari Pulau Pari Kepulauan Seribu turut serta dalam program ini, menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap penyakit degeneratif. Dampaknya adalah bahwa masyarakat memiliki pemahaman dan kesadaran yang lebih baik tentang penyakit degenerative (t stat > t kritis). Masyarakat kini dapat mulai mengenali tanda-tanda pertama penyakit dan menerapkan pola hidup yang lebih sehat. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam menurunkan angka kejadian penyakit degeneratif di Pulau Pari Kepulauan Seribu serta dapat dijadikan contoh bagi daerah lain dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit tersebut melalui komunikasi yang efektif antara tenaga kesehatan dan masyarakat. Kata kunci: KIE, pengabdian; penyuluhan; penyakit degeneratif AbstractDegenerative diseases, including Pari Island in the Thousand Islands, often occur in society. Actions to prevent and treat these diseases require a robust communication, information, and education approach. This article describes a community service program to increase awareness of the residents of Pari Island about degenerative diseases. The activities are led by a pharmacist who is also a lecturer in the Pharmacy Profession Study Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Science at Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA (PSPA FFS UHAMKA), through counseling methods, campaigns, and the formation of group discussion. Twenty participants from Pari Island joined this program, showing increased community understanding and awareness of degenerative diseases. The impact is that the community has a better experience and awareness of degenerative diseases (t stat > t critical). The community can recognize the early signs of diseases and adopt a healthier lifestyle. This activity can contribute to reducing the incidence of degenerative diseases on Pari Island. It can be used as an example for other areas in efforts to prevent these diseases through effective communication between healthcare professionals and the community. Keywords: KIE; devotion; counseling; degenerative disease
