Abstract

The study aims to learn the learning of music creativity.This research uses qualitative methods of descriptive. The subject of this study was the chief of the Temple, the head of Buddhist youth, and members of the band Vijjadara at the Buddhist temple of Bhumika, precisely in the village of Thekelan. The techniques and data collection instruments used are using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data collection instruments using interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and camera or recording device. The way to guarantee the validity of data obtained through persistent observation, triangulation, member check, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The data obtained is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method which includes data collection (data collection), data reduction, data presentation (data display), and withdrawal of conclusions or conclusion or verification. The results of the study included three things, namely (a) the process of learning the creativity of the Buddhist youth Thekelan in the band Vijjadara, (b) The creativity gained through the band Vijjadara, and (c) the impact of Thekelan Buddhist youth in the creativity of the group A. The first is concerned with the learning process of music creativity consisting of three phases, namely before (the music personnel prepare the instrument that will be used before the musical practice begins, when (the music personnel did the discussion together afterwards Music exercises and music personnel who are not able to play musical instruments smoothly ask for help to other advisers or personnel), and after the process of learning music creativity (evaluate it together and Back up the instrument that has been used). The results of the second study explained what creativity the young Buddhist youth had acquired through the band Vijjadara. There are two creativity that arises, which is creative work, and the creativity of organizing an event. The creative learning process of the music group Vijjadara has an impact on the growing cognitive sphere (the enhancement of music personnel to the tone ladder), affective (emerging discipline, cooperation, and so forth), psychomotor (increasing the creativity of youth Buddhist Thekelan in the field of music).

Abstract

Around 4 years ago Dwipaloka Monastery in Parakan subdistrict was located in front of Kyai Parak Bambu Runcing Moslem School and their harmonious relationship was very good. That made me so interested in making a deep research about the perspective of students there about Buddhism. This Moslem school is one of the salaf Muslim schools which means the students just only study Islamic knowledge diligently while living side by side with Buddhist people. Therefore, this research is aimed to know about Muslim students' tolerance to Buddhist people and serves a tolerance learning source. This research used a qualitative method with case studies. Techniques and instruments for the data collection were done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this research include five things as the tolerance learning source, i.e: (a) the teachers' activities for emphasizing tolerance to the Muslim students; (b) the meaning of tolerance for teachers and Muslim students; (c) Muslim students' knowledge about Buddhism concerning on religious leaders in Buddhism, the name of the holy book in Buddhism, Vesakh, and the Buddha's teaching; (d) the range of Muslim students’' tolerance; and (e) Muslim students' tolerance base on theory, textual, and practice.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the insufficiency of PAUD Buddhist teachers in Getasan Subdistrict in playing themselves roles as teachers when teaching in class. This study aims to determine the role of teachers in efforts to improve the learning process of Buddhist PAUD in Getasan District. This research is a study with a qualitative approach. The data was collected through observation, direct and semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The analysis used models from Miles and Huberman. The results of the teacher's role in efforts to improve Buddhist PAUD learning in Getasan District are as follows: (1) Buddhist PAUD teachers in Getasan Subdistrict have been able to improve learning well, be able to master the four abilities of their own, able to portray themselves as teachers well, and able to control the class when teaching and learning activities take place; (2) Efforts made by Buddhist PAUD teachers in Getasan District have been able to control the classroom atmosphere and can overcome obstacles quite well. namely, the teacher is always able to attract the attention of students when students have experienced boredom through the provision of icebreaking and the use of interesting learning media.

Abstract

Kondisi pandemi covid-19, menyebabkan beberapa usaha kecil menengah yang ada di masyarakat mengalami kelumpuhan, tak terkecuali UKM kelompok jamur di Plumbon Sambungmacan Sragen. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian masyarakat dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta melakukan kegiatan pengabdian bagi kelompok petani jamur dengan tujuan perbaikan pengemasan dan pelatihan digitalisasi marketing. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemasaran secara online produk jamur tiram di masa pandemi covid-19. Sebagai Mitra pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah kelompok petani jamur yang tergabung dalam UMKM Gading Sukowati yang terdiri dari 20 orang anggota. Kegiatan pendampingan pengemasan dan pelatihan digital marketing dilakukan pada Tanggal 18 desember 2021. Langkah dalam kegiatan ini meliputi: pemesanan plastik dan stiker untuk packing produk, pembuatan akun intragram, pembuatan akun facebook serta akun shopee bagi UMKM Gading Sukowati dan pelatihan digital marketing bagi anggota kelompok petani jamur. Hasil dari kegiatan ini didapatkan pengemasan produk olahan jamur yang lebih bagus dan menarik serta diperolehnya akun instagram, facebook dan akun shopee bagi UMKM Gading Sukowati. Pada kegiatan ini juga dihibahkan sebuah lap top untuk mendukung dan melancarkan pemasaran produk secara online. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan produk jamur dari UMKM Gading Sukowati Sragen dapat lebih dikenal masyarakat luas dan meningkat pemasarannya.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTIndonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Hong Kong, especially those working in the domestic employment sector, have weak financial planning skills. Financial planning skills are key to helping PMIs manage their income, make wise investment decisions, and plan for a more stable future. This community service program aims to improve skills in financial planning for PMI in Hong Kong through mentoring activities. Through this activity, it is hoped that PMI can gain the knowledge and skills needed in financial planning. This program covers various mentoring topics, such as currency exchange risk management, savings and investment culture according to the Islamic Living Guidelines for Muhammadiyah Citizens (PHIWM), as well as retirement planning. This service activity method is carried out with mentoring and financial planning competitions. The service participants were 45 PMI people in Hong Kong. Training and mentoring is carried out offline and online. This activity was proven to increase PMI's knowledge and skills in the field of financial literacy from a pretest average score of 62.50 increasing to a posttest score of 87.00. This training also received a positive response from participants and was felt to provide benefits for improving their financial management in the future. ABSTRAKPekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Hong Kong, khususnya yang bekerja dalam sektor pekerjaan domestik, memiliki keterampilan perencanaan keuangan yang lemah. Kemampuan dalam perencanaan keuangan adalah kunci untuk membantu PMI mengelola pendapatan mereka, membuat keputusan investasi yang bijak, dan merencanakan masa depan yang lebih stabil. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam perencanaan keuangan bagi PMI di Hong Kong melalui kegiatan pendampingan. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan PMI dapat memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan dalam perencanaan keuangan. Program ini mencakup berbagai topik pendampingan, seperti manajemen risiko kurs mata uang, budaya menabung dan investasi menurut Pedoman Hidup Islami Warga Muhammadiyah (PHIWM), serta perencanaan pensiun. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan pendampingan dan kompetisi perencanaan keuangan. Peserta pengabdian adalah 45 orang PMI di Hongkong. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan secara luring dan daring. Kegiatan ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengatuhuan dan ketrampilan PMI dibidang literasi keuangaan dari nilai rerata pretest 62,50 meningkat menjadi nilai posttest 87,00. Pelatihan ini juga mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta dan dirasakan memberikan manfaat untuk perbaikan pengelolaan keuangan mereka kedepan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The financial literacy mentorship program, which is focused on outdoor classroom activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Program Khusus (MIM PK) 1 Sindon Boyolali, was initiated in response to elementary school pupils' lack of understanding of financial management. Many youngsters prioritize wants above needs and fail to understand the necessity of financial management at a young age. The program aims to improve kids' financial literacy through hands-on experiences and outdoor learning, while simultaneously raising environmental consciousness. The program employs a variety of tactics, including modeling buying and selling using toy money and veggies, sowing vegetable seeds in recycled plastic bottles, and organizing a Market Day where kids sell their produce. Students are taught the fundamentals of transactions, financial planning, and simple entrepreneurship. University students enrolled in the Accounting Education and Elementary School Teacher Education programs also mentor and assess the learning process. The program's results demonstrate that students' financial literacy improved significantly, with an average rise of 1.5 points between the pre-test and the post-test. Aside from financial literacy, kids learn the value of environmental stewardship through horticultural activities. This program successfully improves students' understanding of financial literacy while establishing environmentally conscious ideals.Keywords: financial literacy, outdoor classroom, green school, muhammadiyah elementary schoolABSTRAK Program pendampingan literasi keuangan berbasis kelas alam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Program Khusus (MIM PK) 1 Sindon Boyolali dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar mengenai pengelolaan keuangan. Banyak siswa cenderung lebih fokus pada keinginan dibandingkan kebutuhan, serta belum memahami pentingnya mengelola keuangan sejak dini. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan literasi keuangan siswa melalui pengalaman langsung dan pendekatan berbasis kelas alam, serta menanamkan kesadaran ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan berbagai metode, seperti simulasi jual beli menggunakan uang dan sayuran mainan, penanaman bibit sayuran di galon plastik bekas, serta Market Day yang melibatkan penjualan hasil panen. Siswa diajarkan konsep dasar transaksi, perencanaan keuangan, dan kewirausahaan sederhana. Mahasiswa dari Prodi Pendidikan Akuntansi dan PGSD juga terlibat dalam pendampingan dan evaluasi proses pembelajaran. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan literasi keuangan siswa, dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor dari pretest sebesar 1,5 poin pada posttest. Selain peningkatan literasi keuangan, siswa juga belajar tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan melalui kegiatan bercocok tanam. Program ini berhasil memperkuat pemahaman siswa tentang literasi keuangan sekaligus menanamkan nilai-nilai peduli lingkungan.Kata kunci: literasi keuangan, sekolah alam, sekolah hijau, madrasah ibtidaiyah muhammadiyah

Abstract

Technological developments, particularly in m-learning, have provided new innovations in learning and opened up the potential for future educational transformation. This research uses a qualitative method that emphasizes the meaning, perception, and experience of the research subject. The purpose of this research is to analyze the flexibility of learning with m-learning approach. Data collection techniques used interviews and observations. The informants of this research include the manager of the m-learning platform, 2 teachers, and 5 students at Vovational high school 6 Surakarta. Data analysis techniques include three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The research findings show that VHS 6 Surakarta presents innovation through the integration of m-learning using the Viska Learning platform. The implementation of m-learning positively increases the flexibility of learning, allowing access to materials anytime and anywhere. Teachers and learners recognize the significant benefits in improving learners' learning outcomes and material understanding. There is a need to improve teachers' understanding in order to maximize the utilization of m-learning, and improve the smoothness of internet access to support the use of m-learning for learning in schools.

Abstract

The background of this research is to find out the challenges in implementing basic accounting education learning. This research aims to determine the role of a Project Based Learning system with a student-centered teaching approach in Vocational School basic accounting education in Surakarta. The research method uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach with descriptive qualitative methods. Research data consists of books, journals and publications that can be accessed openly according to needs that support research. The research results show that there is a significant influence of a student-centered learning approach with Project Based Learning on increasing student academic achievement. Several previous studies revealed that there is a positive correlation between Project Based Learning and increased student academic achievement. Through this approach, students feel more engaged and have a better understanding of accounting concepts. Despite its positive impact, the implementation of PBL also faces challenges. Some challenges identified include difficulties in collaborating with teams, resource limitations, and limited technological capabilities. However, students show initiative in overcoming these challenges through active communication and collaboration. Support from teachers and schools is crucial for the success of PBL implementation.

Abstract

A PISA Data 2018 Analysis: Do Parents’ Education and Students’ Learning Supports Affect Learning Achievement? Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of parents’ education level and students’ learning supports on students’ academic achievement. Methods: A quantitative approach was applied carried out multiple linear regression analysis as the technique. The data was obtained from the result of Program International Student Assessment (PISA) in 2018. The sample size was 10.820 students from 397 schools in Indonesia. Findings: The results indicated: 1) fathers’ level of education has a significant effect on learning achievement; 2) mothers’ education level has a significant effect on learning achievement; 3) students’ learning supports at homes have a significant effect on learning achievement; 4) parents’ education level and students’ learning support significantly affect students’ learning achievement. Abstract

This study aims to explore the success of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in the elements of Service, Trade, and Manufacturing Company Accounting. The approach used in this research was qualitative with a case study method. This research selected one vocational school with high integrity, namely SMKN 1 Banyudono, with several informants consisting of students in Financial and Institutional Accounting classes, Accounting Teachers, and the School Principal. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation studies, with data validity tested through technique triangulation and source triangulation. The collected data was analyzed through three activities: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that PjBL had a positive impact on students' learning outcomes, the quality of learning, and learning motivation. However, its weakness laid in requiring longer project implementation time and preparation. Nevertheless, PjBL can create an innovative learning environment, make graduates more prepared for the industrial world, and have a positive impact on students' learning outcomes and the quality of learning.
