Abstract

The increasing urgency of environmental challenges has positioned sustainable architecture as a critical field within contemporary design practice. This article examines the latest innovations in environmentally friendly materials and their transformative impact on sustainable architectural design. Through a comprehensive qualitative analysis of recent developments, this research explores how bio-based materials, carbon-negative products, and circular economy principles are reshaping construction methodologies. The study reveals that emerging materials such as cross-laminated timber, mycelium-based composites, hempcrete, and carbon-capturing concrete offer significant environmental benefits while maintaining structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. These innovations demonstrate potential reductions in embodied carbon of up to 40% compared to conventional materials, while enabling buildings to achieve net-zero or carbon-negative status. The research also identifies key implementation challenges including cost considerations, regulatory frameworks, and the need for enhanced industry adoption. The findings suggest that the integration of these innovative materials, supported by advanced assessment methodologies and policy frameworks, represents a paradigmatic shift toward regenerative architectural practices that actively contribute to environmental restoration rather than merely minimizing harm

Abstract

The development of technology, particularly in the field of education, plays a strategic role in enhancing the quality of learning and student achievement. This research focuses on digital transformation in accounting education at vocational schools in Surakarta, exploring how the application of technology can support the improvement of student learning outcomes. The research approach is qualitative, with data collected through in-depth interviews and direct observations at three schools: SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta, and SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. The research informants include 8 teachers and 6 students from the Accounting program. The results indicate that the implementation of digital technology in the accounting learning process has transformed teaching methods to be more innovative and interactive. This not only enhances students' understanding of accounting concepts but also motivates them to be more active in their learning. Furthermore, this digital transformation positively impacts the mastery of technical skills, such as the use of modern accounting software relevant to industry needs. Student achievement has shown improvement in both academic aspects and practical skills. Overall, this research underscores that the integration of technology in education can serve as an important catalyst in supporting learning success and preparing students for the workforce.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga kerja proyek konstruksi dalam memahami dan menerapkan prinsip pembangunan berkelanjutan dan efisiensi energi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di proyek pembangunan Gedung Pengadilan Tinggi Tata Usaha Negara (PTTUN) Medan, dengan sasaran 56 orang pekerja yang terlibat langsung dalam pekerjaan struktur dan sistem MEP. Metode yang digunakan meliputi edukasi lapangan melalui presentasi, diskusi, demonstrasi teknis, pemasangan media visual, serta evaluasi observatif. Materi edukasi mencakup efisiensi energi, pengelolaan limbah konstruksi berbasis prinsip Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (3R), serta keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terjadinya perubahan signifikan pada perilaku kerja, seperti pencatatan volume beton yang akurat, rotasi penggunaan alat berat, pemilahan limbah untuk digunakan kembali, dan peningkatan kepatuhan terhadap prosedur kerja melalui SOP visual. Lingkungan kerja menjadi lebih bersih, tertib, dan aman dengan penurunan insiden kerja ringan. Model edukasi ini terbukti efektif dalam mendukung pencapaian standar green construction dan berpotensi direplikasi pada proyek serupa secara luas.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh perguruan tinggi memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan, khususnya melalui edukasi langsung kepada tenaga kerja konstruksi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan pekerja proyek dalam menerapkan prinsip bangunan hijau pada pembangunan Gedung Pengadilan Tinggi Tata Usaha Negara (PTTUN) Medan. Edukasi diberikan kepada 56 pekerja melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan visual yang mencakup efisiensi energi, pengelolaan limbah konstruksi berbasis prinsip 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), serta penerapan standar keselamatan kerja. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi penggunaan beton sebesar 15 persen, pengurangan konsumsi bahan bakar alat berat sebesar 10%, dan penurunan volume limbah campuran hingga 20%. Kepatuhan terhadap protokol K3 meningkat sebesar 25%, sementara insiden kerja ringan berkurang sebesar 30%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan edukasi berbasis visual dan praktik langsung efektif dalam mendorong internalisasi prinsip green construction. Model ini dapat direplikasi pada proyek konstruksi lainnya sebagai wujud kolaborasi antara dunia akademik dan industri.

Abstract

In the 21st century, students must have critical thinking skills to face increasingly complex problems and challenges. Students' critical thinking skills need to be measured with test questions. This research is a quantitative and qualitative descriptive study to analyze critical thinking skills questions including validity, reliability, difficulty level, and differentiating power. The research instrument was in the form of descriptive questions tested on 32 students. Data analysis used the Rasch model assisted by Winstep 3.73 software. The results of the validity of the question items showed that 83.33% of the questions were valid and the instrument reliability was good. The difficulty level of the questions meets the criteria of very easy, easy, difficult, and very difficult but the distribution is uneven. The differentiating power of the test items was obtained by three groups, which means good. The conclusion is that the test instrument is suitable as a tool for evaluating critical thinking skills regarding viral infections in food and horticultural crops. Analisis Tes Ketrampilan Berpikir Kritis terhadap Isu Lokal Infeksi Virus pada Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura Menggunakan Model Rasch ABSTRAK: Pada abad 21, siswa harus memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis untuk menghadapi permasalahan dan tantangan yang semakin kompleks. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa perlu diukur dengan soal-soal tes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk menganalisis soal-soal keterampilan berpikir kritis meliputi validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal uraian yang diujikan kepada 32 orang siswa. Analisis data menggunakan model Rasch dengan bantuan software Winstep 3.73. Hasil validitas butir soal menunjukkan 83,33% soal valid dan reliabilitas instrumen baik. Tingkat kesukaran soal memenuhi kriteria sangat mudah, mudah, sukar, dan sangat sukar tetapi sebarannya tidak merata. Daya pembeda butir soal diperoleh tiga kelompok yang berarti baik. Kesimpulannya adalah instrumen soal layak digunakan sebagai alat untuk menilai keterampilan berpikir kritis tentang infeksi virus pada tanaman pangan dan hortikultura.

Abstract

Based on the analysis and calculations from daily production reports, there was a decrease in oil production of about 500 barrels of oil per year in the Widuri Field. The output of fluid produced occurred since drilling activities, completion of wells and production. In addition, other problems arise related to production optimization, namely excessive use of electrical energy in electrical submersible pumps, artificial lifts used to produce hydrocarbon fluids in Widuri Field with limited electrical energy capacity. ESP optimization can use VSD, because the ESP pump motor is an induction motor, where the speed is very proportional to the electric power supply. By adjusting the frequency of the ESP motor on the VSD, of course, you will be able to control the operation of the ESP in a wider range of capacity, head, and efficiency, so that you can determine the price of the desired optimum production rate based on 70% - 80% of Qmax. The optimization will be carried out in this research is to replace the ESP type with the number of stages and the number of new frequencies as well as calculating the lifting cost ratio. The purpose and objective of writing this research is to evaluate the volumetric efficiency of the pump that is being installed in the well so that optimization can be done in the study well by doing various ways and calculating the economic of each pump, that it gets the most economical lifting cost price. The method of this paper is the variation of stages and frequencies to get how much% volumetric efficiency, the Pump Discharge (P2) and Pump Intake (P3) methods to optimize the pump in the study well and Oil Lifting Cost for its economy. The conclusion is that you can determine which ESP pump to use based on the oil lifting cost.

Abstract

Material Balance method is a concept of material equilibrium with measurement of response from reservoir (pressure) due to production, injection, and influx activities so that it can calculate the appropriate Original Oil in Place. By creating a material balance model, it can be done the development plan of Batang Field with the aim of obtaining cumulative optimum oil production. Batang Field is still feasible to be developed using pressure maintenance scenarios seen from OOIP of 144.3 MMSTB, Recovery Factor of 14.9% and Current Pressure of 70-80 psi.  Pressure Maintenance is a water injection with the aim of replacing the fluid that has been produced so that it is expected to keep the reservoir pressure from falling. Ideally this method requires Voidage Replacement Ratio (VRR) = 1 as the target injection. Economic calculation using Cost Recovery from this scenario shows a positive NVP ($ 2,865,000 USD). Therefore, development projects using Pressure Maintenance can be applied in the field. With this paper, it is hoped that it can increase reserves and  lifespan of the Batang oil field.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, some people experienced difficulties due to declining family income. The community service team and women farmer groups in Bantul Regency saw a business opportunity by utilizing the yard around the house for organic farming. Organic farmers receive training and assistance from the service team so that they are able to grow organic vegetables for their own use and sell to consumers. The women farmers are also equipped with an understanding of farmland layouts, online marketing, and simple accounting. The results of this program are savings in family expenses and an increase in family income. This program is very helpful for women farmers in Bantul, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the role of Bhabinkamtibmas in the context of overcoming criminal acts committed by young people through empowering coffee farming in the Purwosari area, Kapanewon Girimulyo Kulon Progo in order to prevent criminal acts, and the obstacles encountered by Bhabinkamtibmas in the context of overcoming criminal acts committed by young people through empowering coffee farming, as well as solutions in anticipating the obstacles encountered. This research approach is carried out using sociological juridical, namely identifying and conceptualizing law as a real and functional social institution in a real life system, after primary and secondary data are obtained, a qualitative analysis is carried out, namely a material analysis method by describing the data obtained in the form of detailed and clear sentences, using deductive and inductive thinking methods. The results of the study can be concluded that the role of Bhabinkamtibmas in the context of overcoming criminal acts committed by young people through empowering Coffee Farming is carried out in two ways, namely first identifying the background of the problem related to the importance of carrying out agricultural empowerment, Second implementing the results of the identification that has been formulated by preventing criminal acts through a social approach, the lack of employment opportunities and skills possessed by young people, carrying out mentoring efforts to encourage becoming entrepreneurs who are closer to the digital market and becoming a facilitator with competent stakeholders. Obstacles encountered are lack of technical knowledge, lack of resources and facilities, lack of community participation, weather and environmental constraints, climate change, pests, and plant diseases that can affect crop yields, coordination with related agencies, and the private sector. budget limitations. Solutions in overcoming obstacles in changing mindsets by showing that coffee farming can be a profitable business holding interesting training and workshops, such as barista techniques, coffee roasting, and digital marketing, by promoting the success stories of young coffee farmers as inspiration, Encouraging business capital assistance programs or people's business credit (KUR) specifically for young farmers. Proposing a land rental program from senior farmers to young people to start farming, Encouraging cooperation between young people in the form of cooperatives or agribusiness communities, Holding coffee cultivation training from upstream to downstream by involving agricultural experts and coffee industry players, providing internship programs on coffee plantations or coffee processing industries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis variabel program peningkatan kemandirian usaha melalui program workshop, magang, prototype produk dan pemasaran di inkubator bisnis Universitas Muhamamdiyah Surakarta. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis pengaruh variabel program yang mempengaruhi kemandirian wirausaha mahasiswa. Manfaat dihasilkan variabel tahapan program yang mempengaruhi kemandirian wirausaha mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, observasi langsung, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan validitas, reliabilitas, dan analisis regresi. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa teknik industri pada pusat studi inkubator wiarusaha dan bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Variabel program pemasaran produk memiliki pengaruh dominan terhadap peningkatan kemandirian wirausaha. Kata Kunci: pengetahuan, magang, kemandirian, wirausaha, mahasiswa
