Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of mathematics learning using madrasah e- learning by mathematics teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Pontianak and describe the problems faced by them, and the issues faced by students of class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Pontianak in learning mathematics using e-learning of madrasah. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method in the form of ex-post facto research. The subjects in this study were students in class XI, which consisted of 36 students in class XI MIPA 1, class XI MIPA 2 with 34 students, class XI MIPA 3 with 35 students in class XI MIPA 4 with 35 students and all 6 mathematics teachers. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of mathematics learning using e-learning madrasah consisted of preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. Many students experience problems influenced by internal and external factors in learning mathematics using e-learning madrasah.

Abstract

Creative thinking is one of the goals of national education, which means that every student is expected to develop it, so that students are accustomed to practicing their thinking skills to create new thoughts. Therefore, in solving problems students are expected to be able to use more than one way of solving. So, this study aims to describe students' creative thinking in variety ways of solving trapezoid area problems. Where students will solve trapezoid area problems using different solutions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 10 students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak. The results showed that the overall average percentage of students in the variety of ways of solving the trapezoid area problem was in the fairly good category (50%). In fluency aspect, there are 7 (70%) students can meet the aspect and 3 (3%) students didn’t. In flexibility aspect, there are 6 (60%) students can meet the aspect and 4 (40%) students didn’t. In originality aspect, there are 2 (20%) students can meet the aspect and 8 (80%) students didn’t. In elaboration aspect, there are 5 (50%) students can meet the aspect and 5 (50%) students didn’t. Keywords: Creative thinking, Solve Problems using Different Solutions, Variety of Solutions

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-modules that can increase independence and understanding of concepts in learning trigonometric equations for students of Class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The 4-D development method (Four-D Model) used consists of four phases: definition, design, development, and deployment. The aim of this research is to develop e-modules that can increase independence and conceptual understanding in learning trigonometry equations for Class XI MIA students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The 4-D development model (Four-D Model) used consists of four phases: definition, design, development, and deployment. This research produced an e-model of trigonometry equation material that is valid, practical and can increase students' independence and understanding of concepts. The results of testing the understanding of the material concept of trigonometry equations average pretest 52.21 and posttest 84.85. This is also supported by the acquisition of a calculated score of 0.68 ?0.7. This means they have a better understanding of trigonometry equations. The results of the analysis of the level of learning independence of students obtained an independence level of 81.27%. The average score obtained is 81.27%, and the data shows that the independent learning of students goes well when learning with the developed e-modules. This research produced a product in the form of an e-module of trigonometry equations which was developed to help improve conceptual understanding of teaching materials and to increase students' independence in learning.Pengembangan e-modul yang dapat meningkatkan kemandirian dan pemahaman konsep dalam belajar persamaan trigonometri peserta didik Kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Model pengembangan 4-D (Model Empat-D) yang digunakan terdiri dari empat fase: definisi, desain, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Penelitian ini menghasilkan e-model materi persamaan trigonometri yang valid, praktis serta dapat meningkatkan kemandirian dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Hasil pengujian pemahaman konsep materi persamaan trigonometri rata-rata pretest 52,21 dan postest 84,85. Hal ini juga didukung dengan perolehan skor hitung sebesar 0,68 0,7. Ini berarti pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang persamaan trigonometri dimiliki oleh mereka. Hasil analisis tingkat kemandirian belajar peserta didik diperoleh tingkat kemandirian sebesar 81,27%. Rata-rata skor yang diperoleh adalah 81,27%, dan data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar peserta didik berjalan baik ketika belajar dengan e-modul yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa e-modul persamaan trigonometri yang dikembangkan guna membantu meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual materi ajar dan dapat meningkatkan kemandirian peserta didik dalam belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis service activity began with the publication conditions of lecturers and students which were felt to be very lacking in both proceedings and journals on a national and international scale in West Kalimantan. This form of service is a workshop or training "to create and publish scientific articles in journals or proceedings for lecturers and students at STKIP Singkawang". This workshop was attended by lecturers and final semester students at STKIP Singkawang. The method for creating and publishing this article includes: 1) adapting the published article to applicable writing rules, 2) creating published article guidelines in the form of an opening, introduction, discussion, research methodology, research results, conclusion, and supporting sections. The subjects of this activity were students and lecturers of the mathematics education study program at STKIP Singkawang. The product of this activity is the publication of scientific works for lecturers and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The stages of this service activity are: 1) Preparation: determining the location and obtaining permission to carry out this workshop activity; 2) Implementation: holding workshops, analyzing test results, and assisting with the preparation and publication of scientific articles, conducting workshops in class; 3) Final: The output of this activity is an article published in a national journal. The result of this service is the holding of workshop activities in accordance with the steps that have been determined and the holding of guest lectures with STKIP Singkawang. Keywords: Workshop, Publication, Journal or Proceeding   ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini berawal dari kondisi publikasi dosen dan mahasiswa yang dirasa sangat kurang baik dalam prosiding maupun jurnal skala nasional dan internasional di Kalimantan Barat. Bentuk Pengabdian ini adalah workshop atau pelatihan “membuat dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal atau prosiding bagi dosen dan mahasiswa di STKIP Singkawang”. Workshop ini diikuti oleh dosen dan mahasiswa semester akhir di STKIP Singkawang. Cara pembuatan dan penerbitan artikel ini meliputi: 1) menyesuaikan artikel publikasi dengan kaidah penulisan yang berlaku, 2) membuat pedoman artikel publikasi berupa pembukaan, pendahuluan, pembahasan, metodologi penelitian, hasil penelitian, penutup, dan bagian pendukung. Subyek kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa dan dosen program studi pendidikan matematika di STKIP Singkawang. Produk dari kegiatan ini berupa publikasi karya ilmiah bagi dosen dan mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun tahapan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: 1) Persiapan: penentuan lokasi dan mendapatkan izin pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan perbengkelan ini; 2) Pelaksanaan: mengadakan lokakarya, menganalisis hasil tes, dan membantu persiapan dan persiapan publikasi artikel ilmiah, melakukan lokakarya di kelas; 3) Final: Keluaran dari kegiatan ini adalah artikel yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal nasional. Abstract

Komunikasi matematis lisan, pemahaman konseptual, dan motivasi belajar merupakan bagian penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, akan tetapi fakta dilapangan yang diperoleh bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan, pemahaman konseptual, dan motivasi belajar pada peserta didik masih terdapat masalah. Sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan, pemahaman konseptual, dan motivasi belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika materi persamaan kuadrat menggunakan media Quizizz pada peserta didik kelas XII di Pontianak.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif.Partisipan penelitian ini yaitu empat orang peserta didik kelas XII.Sumber data diperoleh data lapangan dan pengamatan dilakukan oleh peneliti sendiri dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi, hasil wawancara, dokumentasi berupa video dan rekaman suara selama kegiatan berlangsung.Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan tiga kali pertemuan dengan data yang diperoleh meliputi hasil observasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan, motivasi belajar, dan hasil tes kemampuan pemahaman konseptual pesertadidik dengan data pendukung berupa video dan rekaman suara.Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran matematika materi persamaan kuadrat menggunakan media quizizz pada peserta didik kelas XII selama tiga pertemuan diperoleh kemampuan komunikasi matematis lisan terkategori baik, pemahaman konseptual terkategori sangat baik, dan motivasi belajar terkategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa lembar kerja siswa (LKPD) berbasis problem based learning (PBL) persamaan garis lurus pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini terbatas pada tahap pengembangan. Selanjutnya dilakukan validasi dan penilaian oleh tiga ahli terhadap kelayakan LKPD yang dikembangkan berdasarkan PBL dan tanggapan dari lima siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan LKPD berbasis PBL persamaan garis lurus pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN yang dikembangkan dapat diinterpretasikan dalam kategori sangat layak dengan persentase rata-rata 82,54%. Dilihat dari masing-masing aspek kelayakan isi 87,12%, kelayakan penyajian 81,94%, kelayakan bahasa 83,33%, dan kelayakan grafis 77,78%. Berdasarkan tanggapan siswa, LKPD berbasis PBL yang dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan ke dalam kriteria interpretasi menarik dengan hasil tanggapan rata-rata 77,5%. Jika dilihat dari setiap aspek yang ditanggapi siswa yaitu; kejelasan konsep (67,5%), penyajian materi (82,5%), desain tampilan (80%), dan tugas pembelajaran (80%)

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah merangkum beberapa studi-studi tentang pengaruh media e-learning pada hasil belajar peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dapat menjadi satu referensi yang mudah diakses oleh pengguna hasil penelitian sebagai pilihan media pembelajaran bagi peserta didik dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar maupun sebagai bahan pengembangan media e-learning yang jauh lebih baik untuk selanjutnya. Metode penelitian digunakan kuantitatif, teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumen skripsi maupun tesis dan analisis data menggunakan meta-analisis. Terdapat 9 penelitian yang telah dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, serta diperoleh dari perpustakaan Universitas Tanjungpura. Hasil penelitian diperoleh effect size (r) dari penggunaan media e-learning berdasarkan jenjang, pada jenjang SMP memiliki besaran pengaruh yang bertanda positif, sedangkan pada jenjang SD, SMA dan SMK memiliki besaran pengaruh yang bertanda negatif. Berdasarkan jenis media yang digunakan, seluruh kategori berdasarkan media tidak ada yang memiliki besaran pengaruh yang bertanda positif. Hasil perhitungan meta-analisis berbantuan aplikasi JASP diperoleh nilai r* sebesar -0,646 dan nilai p-value dari Z bernilai lebih dari 0,05. Kesimpulannya adalah penggunaan media e-learning tidak ada pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, hipotesis penelitian ditolak.AsbtractThe research purpose is to summarize the study of the effect of e-learning on student’s mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, this research can be a reference that is easily accessible to users of research results as a choice of learning media for improving students learning outcomes and as a reference for developing better e-learning media in the future. The research method used is quantitative research, data collection techniques in the form of dissertation and thesis documents and data analysis used with a meta-analysis approach. There are 9 studies selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria that were obtained from the Tanjungpura University library. The results of the study obtained the effect size (r) of using e-learning based on the level, that junior high school has a positive effect size, meanwhile, that elementary school, senior high school, and vocational high school have a negative effect size. Based on the type of media used, all of them there are have no positive effect size. The results of the meta-analysis using the JASP application has a value of r* -0,646 and a p-value of Z value of more than 0,05. The conclusion is the apply of e-learning media has not a positive effect that is not significant on student’s learning outcomes. Therefore, the research hypothesis was rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to create learning media for Android using Articulate Storyline 3 (AS3) as well as identifying validity and practicality of this Android-based learning tool developed with AS3. This research uses the ADDIE model, encompassing five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The participants in this study consist of two subject matter experts, two media experts, and 32 respondents from the ninth-grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. The focus of the research is on the Android-based linear program learning media developed during the study. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire with descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the validation analysis, based on assessments from material and media experts, yields an average score of 4.18, categorizing as 'good.' Furthermore, the practicality analysis, gauged through student responses, averages at 4.33, indicating a 'very good' category. Consequently, the Android based learning media employing AS3 is deemed both valid and practical for utilization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to observe the problem-based learning model in an effort to improve students' interest and learning outcomes. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. In this study, the sociology teacher acted as the actor and the researcher as a collaborative partner as an observer. The learning process was conducted in 2 cycles, with 4 meetings in each cycle, consisting of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection tools in this study were observation to observe students' learning interest, observation of teacher activities, tests to determine students' learning outcomes, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the sociology teacher's teaching using the problem-based learning model in cycle I and cycle II improved, as well as students' learning interest, which showed improvement in both cycles. Based on the research data, it was found that students' learning outcomes also improved from the pre-test and post-test results, with improvements in learning mastery for each cycle.

Abstract

The ability to understand space and spatial relationships between objects has a significant relationship in human daily life. Not a few studies that have been conducted show that GeoGebra is one of the many media that are said to support the improvement of spatial abilities. Thus, this study is designed to examine and review the extent of the use of GeoGebra in improving spatial abilities. This Systematic Literature Review aims to provide a comprehensive description through analysis of the application of GeoGebra to spatial abilities in the context of mathematics learning, using a literature review approach. Data were collected by documenting and reviewing 49 relevant articles on the use of GeoGebra in improving spatial skills in the period 2017-2024 published in Sinta indexed journals that can be accessed and downloaded on the Google Scholar database. After the selection process, 14 literatures were used for further analysis. The results revealed that the utilization of GeoGebra has a positive impact, effective, and more efficient in improving the spatial abilities of students. In addition, GeoGebra can be developed into learning media that can support optimizing the development of students' spatial abilities.
