Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran wordwall terhadap penguasaan konsep pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SDN 20 Cakranegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Experimental dengan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas kelas IV dengan jumlah 40 siswa. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, dengan kelas IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV A sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data  menggunakan tesenguasaan konsep yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dan lembar observasi. Kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. (2 tailed) ) ≤ 0.05 yaitu 0,001 ≤ 0,005 pada taraf signifikansi 5% yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Wordwall berpengaruh terhadap penguasaan konsep IPAS siswa kelas VI SDN 20 Cakranegara.

Abstract

Salah satu bidang yang diampu oleh konselor dalam hal ini guru kelas di SD yaitu menangani kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa. Berbadasar penelitian terdahulu di SDN 1 Kekeri terdapat beberapa,siswa yang menunjukkan gejala kesulitan diantaranya: (1) kesulitan membaca dan memahami isi bacaan; (2) kesulitan menulis; (3),kesulitan berhitung dan operasi matematis; (4) kesulitan memahami pelajaran secara umum; dan,(5) kesulitan siswa fokus dalam pembelajaran. Terdapat salah satu alternatif bagi guru dalam meminimalisir kesulitan belajar siswa yaitu kemitraan dengan orang tua. Faktanya guru di SD Negeri 1 Kekeri belum melibatkan orang tua secara tersetruktur dan terencana. Pelibatan orang tua aasih dilakukan secara insidental,atau apabila ada temuan siswa berkesulitan belajar yang tidak dapat ditangani sendiri oleh guru baru orang tua diajak dan dilibatkan. Bertolak dari hasil penelitian tahun 2023 tersebut, maka tim pengabdian PGSD FKIP Universitas Mataram tergerak untuk memberikan sosialisasi kepada pihak sekolah. Adapun sosialisasi yang dimaksud yaitu memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang urgensi pelibatan orang tua dalam menangani siswa dengan kesulitan belajar. Untuk mencapai tujuan penyuluhan dan pelatihan seperti yang tersirat dalam judul pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan beberapa metode, yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab atau diskusi dan pendampingan. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Kekeri dengan 16 peserta pada hari sabtu 14 Juni 2024. Untuk mencapai tujuan penyuluhan dan pelatihan seperti yang tersirat dalam judul pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan beberapa metode, yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab atau diskusi dan pendampingan. Adapun materi utama yang disampaikan yaitu: (1) konsep pelibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan; (2) teknik perencanaan pelibatan orang tua dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajaar siswa; (3) teknik pelibatan orang tua dalam pelaksanaan pembimbingan siswa berkesulitan belajar; (4) teknis evaluasi dan pelaporan pelibatan orang tua dalam upaya mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa; dan (5) Peer praktik latihan melibatkan orang tuaa secara langsung dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa SD. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang materi yang disampaikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the two stay two stray learning model combined with picture and picture on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SDN Gugus 06 Cakranegara in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design . The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN Gugus 06 Cakranegara in the 2020/2021 academic year, while the samples in this study were fourth grade students at SDN 35 Cakranegara as the experimental class and fourth grade students at SDN 14 Cakranegara as the control class with purposive sampling. The results of data analysis obtained the value of sig. 2 tailed is 0.007 which the value is less than 0.05, then based on the research hypothesis, if the value of sig. 2 tailed <0:05 t-table then H0  is rejected and Ha diterime. This shows that there is an effect of the two stay two stray learning model combined with picture and picture on the social studies learning outcomes of fourth graders at SDN Gugus 06 Cakranegara in the 2020/2021 school year.  The conclusion of this study is that the two stay two stray learning model combined with picture and picture has a change in students' cognitive learning outcomes seen from the learning process in the classroom and the two stay two stray learning model combined with picture and picture has a significant effect on student learning outcomes based on the hypothesis test obtained sig. 2 tailed is 0.007 < 0.05. The influence of the two stay two stray learning model combined with picture and picture on social studies learning outcomes is 0.22, which is included in the large category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1). Bentuk kolaborasi guru dan orang tua dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa (2). Bagaimana guru merespon aspirasi orang tua terkait pembelajaran siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan grounded theory yang menekankan penemuan teori dari data observasi emperik dilapangan. Subjek penelitian ini addalah kepala sekolah, guru dan orang tua siswa SDN 23 Ampenan. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1). Bentuk kolaborasi guru dan orang tua dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa adalah komunikasi, yaitu komunikasi formal dan komunikasi non formal, rapat dan keterlibatan orang tua pada pembelajaran anak di rumah. (2). Bagaimana guru merespon aspirasi orang tua terkait pembelajaran siswa, Guru sangat berterimakasih apa lagi mengajar anak-anak itu bukan cuman tergantung dari gurunya jadi memang harus betul-betul ada aspirasi dari orang tua.

Abstract

Poetry writing material is one of the important contents of learning the Indonesian language and literature in elementary school. However, in its implementation, students needed help understanding the learning material for writing poetry. To overcome this problem, teachers can use learning media. One medium that can be used in teaching poetry writing is the visual octopus word learning media. This media is in the form of an imitation octopus with poetry-writing material on each tentacle. This study was carried out to examine the effectiveness of the word octopus in poetry writing material. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design at Public Elementary School (SDN) 1 Kekeri. Preliminary and final test questions regarding poetry writing material were used as the main instruments for data collection. Data collection underwent three stages: an initial test, providing treatment by applying octopus word learning media, and a post-test. Data analysis was carried out in two phases: prerequisites and testing media effectiveness. The study results show that the Octopus Kata learning media has high effectiveness. It can be seen from the significant difference in the average initial and final test results. This study concludes that the octopus word learning medium effectively increases elementary school students' understanding of learning to write poetry.

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out the pattern of management and implementation of BK at SDN 1 Kekeri, Kec. Gunungsari. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, with a descriptive research approach where data is collected and expressed in the form of words and images, the words are arranged in sentences, for example sentences resulting from interviews between researchers and informants. This research will be carried out at SDN Kekeri District. Gunungsari, Kab. West Lombok and is planned to be implemented for 8 months. The research subjects were school principals, teachers and students. Primary data sources, which include data in the form of interviews obtained from school principals, teachers and students. Apart from interviews, researchers also use data sources in the form of field observations, namely in the form of classroom learning processes and documentation. Secondary data is data sourced from reports or related documents found at the research location. This research uses data collection techniques: in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles, Huberman and Saldana model of data analysis with stages: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verifications. Based on the research results, several important points were obtained. At SDN 1 Kekeri, various supports and assistance are provided by class teachers as supervisors/counselors at the elementary school. Various types of guidance and counseling support services and activities are carried out by class teachers with the aim of solving and overcoming potential problems arising in students. The scope of management and implementation of BK at SDN 1 Kekekri includes: (1) Direct services; (2) guidance and counseling services through the media; (3) administrative activities; and (4) additional duties/professional development for guidance and counseling teachers or counselors. To ensure the proper implementation of BK services at SDN 1 Kekeri, supervision of guidance is needed both technically and administratively. Abstract

This study scrutinized teachers' strategies for developing students' speaking confidence. The qualitative approach was adopted using observation and interviews as data collection methods. Four English teachers with a myriad of experiences in coping with students' problems with speaking confidence were invited as samples. The analysis of data procedures involved Kawulich's (2004) work, including Narrative, Coding, Interpretation, Confirmation, and Presentation. The findings revealed that the students had low confidence in speaking due to being Afraid of Speaking, Feeling Inferior, and Being Shy. Teachers developed strategies to cope with problems, including guiding the students when speaking, conducting peer tutoring, habituating students to speak, and giving games to motivate them to learn. Based on the data, some improvements were achieved after the strategies: teachers as guides followed by speaking as habits improved students' speaking confidence; Peer Tutors and Teachers as Guides boost students' understanding; Peer Tutors and Games promote more enthusiasm for students. This study recommends that the principals facilitate teachers' autonomy in teaching, such as conducting programs compatible with students' learning needs by providing collaborative learning opportunities and involving fun learning activities to get students' enthusiasm, which will generate their motivation and confidence

Abstract

Recruiting international students is highly beneficial yet challenging for universities in Indonesia. This study raised research focusing on strategies applied by Indonesian Universities to attract international students' willingness to enroll. It also figured out the challenges and solutions encountered by the students in their initial studies. This study adopted Vincent Tinto's theory about the factors affecting students' academic accomplishments and learning failures. Qualitative design, case study approach, and open-ended questionnaires were implemented. This study invited three staff members of the International Affairs and International Center as the participants. Thematic analysis was adopted utilizing Atlas. Ti software to analyze the data from the respondents following Kawulich's (2004) framework, encompassing Narrative, Coding, Interpretation, Confirmation, and Presentation. The result demonstrated some strategies implemented by Mataram University for international students, such as providing proper facilities, including library and study spaces, access to technology, and a health center. The university also utilizes international alumni to endorse the university in their home country. Alongside the hurdles, the university provides students with a welcoming ceremony that includes a language course, academic orientation, and cultural adaptation programs upon their arrival

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab rendahnya keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam menggunakan bahasa Indonesia kelas IV di SDN Barelantan, Lombok Tengah. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam menggunakan bahasa Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, terutama dalam aspek pelafalan, intonasi, kelancaran, isi pembicaraan, dan ekspresi. Faktor penyebab rendahnya keterampilan berbicara dalam menggunakan bahasa Indonesia terdiri dari faktor internal seperti kepribadian pemalu, kurang percaya diri, dan rasa takut; serta faktor eksternal seperti pola asuh orang tua, metode pembelajaran guru, dan kurangnya media pembelajaran. Upaya yang dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut antara lain memberikan motivasi, memahami karakter siswa, menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang lebih variatif, serta menjalin kerja sama dengan orang tua untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam menggunakan bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is based on the low early reading ability of students, as indicated by their difficulties in beginning reading. The aim of this study is to describe the use of the scramble technique assisted by picture card media in improving the early reading ability of third-grade students at SDN 20 Ampenan. This research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental type and a pre-test post-test control group design. The sample consisted of two classes. Data were collected using pre-tests and post-tests in the form of performance-based reading tests. The results show that the scramble technique assisted by picture card media is quite effective in improving the early reading ability of students at SDN 20 Ampenan. This is indicated by an N-gain score of 65.10, which falls into the "quite effective" category, as well as an increase from a pre-test score of 58.46 to a post-test score of 85.3, showing a significant improvement in early reading ability.
