Abstract

This comprehensive mentoring and training program is designed to transform the traditional knowledge of the community in Junjangan village, Batang Tuaka District about herbal plants into contemporary health solutions. Through a comprehensive educational approach, this program aims to empower people to use herbal plants as an effective and natural alternative treatment. This mentoring includes identification of local knowledge, practical training and ongoing support to ensure appropriate and sustainable implementation. The results of this program show a significant increase in the community's understanding and skills in processing and utilizing herbal plants for health. Apart from that, this program also contributes to the preservation of traditional knowledge and improves the welfare of the people of Junjangan village, Batang Tuaka District, Riau Province. This article provides in-depth insight into the impact of the program as well as the challenges faced in this transformation process.

Abstract

The background of this research is that road infrastructure development activities, especially farm roads, have great potential to have an impact that will affect the level of welfare of the village community. And with the construction of this farm road infrastructure, it is a transportation infrastructure in agricultural areas, to facilitate the mobility of agricultural tools and machinery. Transporting production facilities to agricultural land and transporting agricultural products from land to storage areas, processing areas or markets. This study aims to examine the effect of Farmer Road Infrastructure Development on Community Welfare in Lauwa Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study were all farmers in Lauwa Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency, as many as 350 people. The sample in this study used a probability sampling technique with a simple random sampling type, while the sample size was obtained from calculations using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% from 78 people. . The primary data source is in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression analysis. Questionnaire measurements answered by respondents used a Likert scale which was processed using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). The results of this study indicate that Jalan Tani Infrastructure Development has a positive and significant impact on the welfare of the people in Lauwa Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency. While the value of R2 (R Square) is 0.081 which indicates that the contribution of the Farmer Road Infrastructure Development variable to the community welfare variable in Lauwa Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency is 8.10%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that the quality of services provided at the Wajo Regency Agriculture and Food Security Service was not yet optimal, as there were still several employees who lacked the technical skills to carry it out. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of Human Resource Competency on Service Quality at the Wajo Regency Agriculture and Food Security Service. The population in this research is the community receiving services from the Wajo Regency Agriculture and Food Security Service during the last 2 months, totaling 28 people, all of whom were used as respondents with saturated engineering samples. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and documentation studies. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and associative analysis techniques. The results of the research show that: Human Resource Competency has a strong influence on Service Quality at the Wajo Regency Agriculture and Food Security Service. It is recommended that the leadership at the Agriculture and Food Security Service of Wajo Regency should strive to improve the quality of their services to the community, namely by increasing the competency of human resources, in this case the employees who work there, along with other factors that influence the quality of service in their organization. .

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world with a wide variety of animals spread from Sabang to Merauke. The number of animals owned, not a few of these animals become victims of human crimes. The existence of regulations cannot be used as a benchmark. Weak law enforcement indirectly makes people underestimate and do not care about animal welfare in human life. This research aims to find out the right steps so that people are aware of the importance of animal protection and examine the applicable rules regarding the sanctions imposed, as well as cooperation efforts between the government as a supervisor and lawmaker with the community as a participant in animal protection in Indonesia. This research uses a normative legal research method using a statutory approach, so that by using this method, researchers can describe the data as a whole and clearly in accordance with field conditions. The results show that there are still a lot of cruel behaviors committed by humans against animals, even to the point of threatening the animal population. The obstacle in handling cases is the low level of public awareness which impacts on the lack of participation in animal protection. The lack of participation is caused by the lack of education to the community, and the regulations applied do not have sanctions that have a deterrent effect on the perpetrators. Therefore, efforts are needed in the form of continuous socialization to the community and the involvement of all parties, both government and society, in dealing with the problem thoroughly and firmly on cases that occur in accordance with applicable regulations and provide a deterrent effect to animal criminals

Abstract

Training on handling corpses according to Islamic law is an in-depth activity in a religious and humanitarian context. This article discusses the importance of this training in understanding, respecting and carrying out funeral arrangements in accordance with Islamic teachings. This training provides the basic knowledge, practical skills, and cultural and ethical understanding needed to carry out the task of handling corpses properly. In addition, this article highlights the important benefits of Student Creativity Program (PKM) activities in expanding religious understanding, increasing respect for religious values, and empowering communities to play an active role in funeral services in accordance with Islamic guidelines. Through these efforts, we can create a society that is more aware of their religious practices, respects traditions, and applies Islamic teachings with full respect in the care of corpses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kontruksi pasif pada Bahasa Batak Toba dengan menggunakan teori X-Bar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan konstruksi pasif pada bahasa batak Toba serta mencari pola-pola apa saja yang terdapat pada konstruksi bahasa batak Toba dengan menggunakan pisau analisis morfosintaksis. Teori yang digunakan mengacu kepada) pasif dalam bahasa Indonesia dapat dibedakan menjadi dua, pertama pasif kanonis (canonical passive) dan kedua pasif pengedepanan objek (passive which has the surface form of on object tapicalization). Pasif kanonis ini merupakan diatesis aktif. Predikat verba pasif kanonis dimarkahi oleh afiks di-, di-- i, dan di--kan, sedangkan pasif pengedepanan objek predikatnya tidak bermarkah, tetapi ditandai oleh pronomina persona (pronomina diri). Tiga tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah mulai dari pengumpulan data, analisis data dan penyajian hasil data analisis. Data penelitian berupa kalimat- kalimat dalam bahasa batak Toba baik lisan maupun tulisan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan pola konstruksi pasif Bahasa Batak Toba yang dianalisis dengan teori X-bar adalah FN yang bergabungdengan N’ dan membentuk N dan diikuti dengan VP serta spesifier, selain itu ada pula pola struktur konstruksi pasif FN bergabung dengan N’ dan membentuk VP diikuti oleh NP yang bergabung dengan N’ membentuk N.

Abstract

Penciptaan komposisi musik maqam duo ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pekembangan musik Islam dan musik Melayu yang  kecendrungannya mengarah pada syair-syair yang bersifat duniawi. Ketertarikan penggarap mengolah komposisi musik baru, karena penggarap ingin mengembangkan musik Islam ini tidak dalam bentuk syair tetapi dalam bentuk ritem dan melodi lagu. Rumusan Penciptaan dalam penggarapan komposisi “Maqam Duo” ini adalah: 1) Bagaimana bentuk komposisi musik Maqam Duo setelah digarap berangkat dari skala Maqam Saba diolah dengan sestem pengembangan motif, 2) Mampukah penggarap mempertahankan nuansa musik Melayu Islami yang digarap dengan perkembangan musik popoler saat ini. Adapun tujuan dan konstribusi penciptaan karya ini adalah: 1) Mewujudkan karya komposisi musik baru yang bernuansa musik melayu Islami. 2) Memanfaatkan kekayaan musikal Melayu Islami dalam memasuki wacana kreativitas yang kreatif dan inovatif. 3) Merangsang penggarap untuk berkreativitas dalam karya musik. 4) Membangkitkan motivasi sekaligus memberikan suport mahasiswa sebagai generasi muda dalam menggarap komposisi musik. Metode penciptaan  menggunakan pendekatan metode yang ditawarkan oleh Konsersium Seni yaitu: persiapan, elaborasi, sintesis, realisasi dan penyelesaian dalam bentuk tahap-tahap kerja. Komposisi musik Maqam Duo ini digarap dalam bentuk musik dua bagaian, dengan format ensambel perkusi  dikaloborasikan dengn intrumen tradisi antara lain, gendang melayu, indang, gambus dan biola sebagai pengisi melodi-melodi dalam pengembangan  skala nada maqam duo. Bagian pertama terdiri dari 53 birama yang dimainkan secara berulang pada bagaian patron yang dibuat berdasarkan pengembangan skala nada  maqam saba dengan nada : D-Es-F-Ges-A-Bes-C-Des ( Re-Ri-Fa-Fi-La-Li-Do-Di ), patron melodi inilah yang digarap dengan pola motif yang dimainkan instrumen marimba dan fibraphone yang dimainkan secara berulang-ulang  berdurasi  7 menit yang dimainkan pada tanda sukat 4/4 dengan tempo largo dalam nada dasar C mayor. Bagian kedua terdiri dari 123 birama, dengan durasi 09.50 menit, bagian ini dimainkan dengan tanda sukat Alegro tempo 100 digarap masi dalam skala nada maqam saba. Pada Bagian kedua ini penggarapan bernuansa melayu, pengembangan melodi yang digarap dari maqam saba ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan tehnik pengembangan motif seperti, pengembangan motif repetisi, imitasi, augmentasi, diminusi dan sekwen.Kata kunci: makam, duo, musik, arab, melayu

Abstract

The objective of this research aims to find out whether or not significant correlation between parents’ education and the parents’ involvement, parents’ education and the twelfth graders’ English achievement , parents’ involvement and the twelfth graders’ English achievement , and parents’ education parent’s involvement and the twelfth graders’ English achievement of SMAN 5 Prabumulih academic year of 2019/2020 which consisted of six classes. A quantitative method used in this research also used a stratified random sampling methods. There are two kinds of data will be analyzed. The first is questionnaire and the second is the data of documents. There was any significant influence because significant output (0,000) was lower than the mean of significant influence at 0.05 levels. It could be concluded that there were any significant influence of parents’ education and parents’ involvement toward English achievement.

Abstract

The main objective of this thesis was to find out the effectiveness of using clustering technique in improving students' writing ability to the eighth grade students of state junior high school 2 of Makarti Jaya. The method of used in this study was the experimental method. In the other words, experiment tries to compare one or more groups which are given the treatment, and other groups that is not given the treatment. The population of this research was students the eighth grade students of state junior high school 2 of Makarti Jaya with 46 students. The writer took two classes that were class 8A and 8B using purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were collected by written test: giving pre-test and post-test to the students sample. The collected data were analyzed using t-test formula. The result of the data analysis showed that the two-tailed-test with 22 (df) had a critical value of 0.000 at the 0,05 significant level. Because the t-value of 1,645 was higher that the t-table, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Students in the experimental group were able to improve their writing skills through descriptive writing as a result of their treatment. It also means that clustering technique was effective to improve the students writing ability to the eighth grade students of state junior high school 2 of Makarti Jaya. _____________________

Abstract

Currently, corruption is a very worrying problem. The rampant acts of corruption not only affect adults, but also students. Apart from curative action, in the form of providing sanctions, both criminal and administrative, to perpetrators of corruption. It is also important to take preventive action against acts of corruption. This preventive action is taken to prevent corruption in the future. Preventive measures can be taken for adults and students. Providing education on anti-corruption values among students is one of these preventive steps. Starting from this, the authors who are members of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) group organized anti-corruption values education for students at SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta. Through this education, the author also conducted research on the effectiveness of corruption education in terms of preventive measures for corruption. This research uses qualitative methods by collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. This research involved 80 respondents from students at SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta. The majority of respondents expressed the effectiveness of the education that the author held.
