Abstract

Integrated educational management plays a vital role in enhancing national education quality, particularly in regions like Kepahiang Regency, which faces challenges of educational disparities between urban and rural schools. This study aims to explore the application of this approach to address such challenges and improve the quality of high school education. Using a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The findings reveal that human resource management, curriculum, and infrastructure in Kepahiang schools are not yet fully optimized. Rural schools face limitations in facilities and training opportunities, while urban schools benefit from better resource access. The implemented Merdeka Curriculum shows potential but is hindered by inadequate infrastructure support. This study underscores the importance of collaboration among local governments, schools, and communities to achieve a more holistic and sustainable education system.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the importance of integrating moral education with academic education to create a more holistic learning environment. Islamic values such as honesty, justice, and responsibility are considered essential in the cognitive development of students. This research aims to identify and analyze how Islamic values can be integrated into students' cognitive development, as well as the normative approaches that can be used to incorporate Islamic values into the educational curriculum. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various relevant data sources. The key findings show that values such as honesty, justice, and responsibility play a crucial role in shaping students' critical and analytical thinking. Strategies like curriculum integration, thematic learning, and project-based learning (PBL) have proven effective in incorporating Islamic values into education. The results of this study support holistic education theory, which combines moral and cognitive aspects in learning. These findings make an important contribution to the existing literature and offer practical guidelines for educators and policymakers in creating a more holistic and balanced learning environment. The study has some limitations, including reliance on available literature and variability in the quality and methods of the research used. Further research is needed to explore how Islamic values can be integrated into various educational contexts and to evaluate the long-term impact of this integration on students' cognitive and moral development. Overall, the integration of Islamic values in education has the potential to yield long-term positive effects on students and the broader society.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of social media as a collaborative tool in high school mathematics learning. Social media enables students to collaborate, share materials, and engage in discussions flexibly. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study analyzes fiveteen accredited national and international journal articles as its research subjects, this research analyzes various social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram, and their impact on student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes. The results indicate that social media enhances student collaboration, motivation, and understanding of mathematical concepts. However, challenges such as distractions, platform misuse, and low digital literacy among students persist. To address these issues, the study suggests strategies such as focused learning groups and digital literacy training for students and teachers. With proper management, social media can effectively improve the quality of mathematics learning in high schools.Keywords: Social media, collaboration, mathematics learning

Abstract

Modern society's awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle has brought new ideas not only limited to diet and sleep but also exercise. In this case, exercise is believed to be important in realizing physical and mental health. However, some groups limit the practice of exercise to archery, swimming, and horseback riding, as referred to the hadith delivered by the prophet. This study aims to analyze the concept of sports in the Prophetic traditions as a basis for developing a holistic sports education program, as well as to examine the permissibility of the Prophetic sports tradition through the contextualization of hadith in the modern era. Through a qualitative approach based on literature study, the author uses a collection of literature and relevant sources of information as research sources. In analyzing the data, the author uses the stages proposed by Miles & Huberman, namely data identification, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. From two questions; how is the contextualization of sports hadith in realizing physical and mental health, and how is the application of hadith about sports in the development of sports education programs, the results show that the concept of sports in the prophet's traditions is not seen from the form of sports alone, such as swimming, archery and horse riding, but rather on the aspect of its purpose and usefulness. Philosophically, the purpose and benefits of sports education in children through the context of archery and horse riding during the Prophet's time are more directed at the form of children's education so that they become individuals who understand the goals and objectives of life, calmness, concentration, and strategies in achieving these goals, including mastery of modern technological means that support the ease of physical activity in facilitating towards every goal of life.

Abstract

Merging between Islamic religion and Javanese cultural behavior has become an interesting phenomenon for any study related to religion. This is supported by the strong Javanese people’s belief in their tradition and therefore cannot be abandoned. Some people may assume that such a tradition is against religious teachings, especially Islam. Apart from that, this study sought to see another side of the tradition, especially the Suroan’s tradition in the Javanese community in Sindanti Dataran Menanti village, Rejang Lebong regency, Bengkulu, whether there were values ​​in Islamic education. To answer this problem, a qualitative approach was used by conducting direct observations and in-depth interviews. This study concluded that there were some Islamic education values ​​such as (I'tiqodiyah) which represented the value ​​related to faith such as the faith in Allah SWT; Educational value (Amaliyah) that was associated with behavior such as worshiping education; and educational value (Khuluqiyah) which was related to ethics (morals) aiming to avoid oneself from negative behavior and decorate oneself with commendable behavior.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the implementation of an Islamic Education learning approach with religious moderation insights at State Senior High School 1 Rejang Lebong, focusing on three aspects: the implementation process, students' attitudes of tolerance, and their responses to the learning approach. The research employed a qualitative case study design involving three Islamic Education teachers and 21 purposively selected students. Data were collected through interviews and observations and then analyzed using an interactive method encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation ensured data validity through cross-verification between sources and methods. The learning approach integrated values of moderation (tawasuth), tolerance (tasamuh), balance (tawazun), and fairness (ta’adl) into teaching. Group discussions on religious diversity, collaborative projects addressing social issues, and constructivist methods enhanced critical thinking. Teachers facilitated discussions, guided projects, and employed contextual, inclusive materials. Extracurricular activities like interfaith dialogues and community service reinforced classroom lessons. Students displayed tolerance through respectful interactions, diversity acceptance, and fairness in school activities, supported by personal experiences and a harmonious environment. They responded positively, showing enthusiasm, active participation, and a deeper understanding of tolerance and social harmony. This study highlights the importance of integrating religious moderation insights into Islamic Education through inclusive policies, structured activities, and interactive methods to foster tolerance, inclusivity, and social harmony. The research's novelty lies in its comprehensive exploration of the implementation process, students' attitudes, and responses. It offers practical insights into embedding ethical and moderation values in Islamic Education to promote harmony and prevent radicalism.

Pendekatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter religius siswa serta motivasi belajar mereka. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi, seperti kesiapan guru dan keterbatasan sumber daya pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan bagi pendidik serta kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan implementasi religius pragmatisme dalam pembelajaran PAI

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya implementasi metode burhani dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya Rejang Lebong. Pada penerapannya, tentu dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis hal yang berkaitan dengan penerapan metode burhani dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, terutama di SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya Rejang Lebong.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yakni penelitian lapangan yang menuntut peneliti secara langsung ke tempat yang diteliti untuk mendapatkan informasi secara langsung dari informan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research), yakni penelitian yang dilakukan secara langsung terjun ke lapangan untuk mendapatkan serta mengumpulkan informasi dari responden dan informan serta objek yang diamati melalui instrumen pengumpulan data. Jenis penelitian adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penggunaan metode analisis menggunakan model yang dikemukakan oleh Huberman dan Miles yang meliputi: reduksi data, display data, pengambilan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Kemudian, keabsahan data menggunakan sistem triangulasi, yaitu triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik, dan triangulasi waktu.Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan metode burhani dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya Rejang Lebong dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah, yakni mengajak siswa berpikir rasional melalui pemberian stimulus oleh guru. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil wawancara maupun observasi, baik dari aspek gurunya yang saat mengajar mengajak siswa berpikir rasional melalui stimulus berupa pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh guru. Salah satu contohnya dalam materi PAI yang berkaitan dengan perjalanan hidup Rasulullah. Sedangkan untuk kendala dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam menggunakan metode burhani, ada beberapa siswa yang belum mampu merespons stimulus yang diberikan guru secara cepat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai aksiologis dalam pembentukan karakter siswa melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada urgensi pendidikan karakter dalam membentuk generasi muda yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki integritas moral dan spiritual. Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai mata pelajaran inti di MTs memiliki potensi besar dalam mentransformasikan nilai-nilai luhur yang terkandung dalam ajaran Islam ke dalam sikap dan perilaku siswa. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, yang menelaah berbagai literatur akademik terkait aksiologi pendidikan, karakter, dan implementasi nilai-nilai dalam pembelajaran PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai aksiologis seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, toleransi, dan religiusitas sangat menonjol dalam materi dan proses pembelajaran PAI. Nilai-nilai ini secara langsung dan tidak langsung terinternalisasi dalam diri siswa melalui metode pembelajaran aktif, keteladanan guru, serta interaksi sosial di lingkungan madrasah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pembelajaran PAI memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui muatan nilai-nilai aksiologis yang terintegrasi dalam setiap proses pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, guru PAI perlu mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang tidak hanya bersifat kognitif, tetapi juga menekankan aspek afektif dan moral.
