Abstract

kegiatan sosialisasi food waste dan kegiatan lapangan yang dilakuka oleh mahasiswa P3K UPI Purwakarta untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa SDIT Al-Bina Purwakarta terkait pengelolaan limbah makanan (food waste). Kegiatan ini melalui dua tahap: 1) Tahap perencanaan, mahasiswa program P3K UPI Purwakarta menentukan langkah yang efisien untuk menentukan konsep, konten, media, target, tempat sosialisasi dan demonstrasi serta menyiapkan materi. 2) Tahap pelaksanaan, mahasiswa melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan yang sudah direncanakakn selama tiga hari, yang dikemas dalam sebuah kegiatan festival Generasi Al-Bina (Genbi) bertemakan “cinta lingkungan”.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of learning in primary schools today cannot be separated from the contribution of digital learning media. Technology can make learning more engaging and interactive for students. It supports them in developing creative and innovative skills, which are indispensable to face challenges in the ever-advancing digital age. The purpose of this study is to implement the utilization of technology to improve the quality of learning in primary schools. This research applied a mixed approach with descriptive method, combining quantitative and qualitative data to gain a more comprehensive insight. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires given to students to assess the extent to which technology is used in the learning process, in-depth interviews with teachers to get their viewpoints and experiences, and a literature review that strengthens the theoretical basis. The research findings show that the majority of students are at a moderate to high level of technology use, while teachers and schools are proactively implementing various methods to integrate technology in teaching, although they still face challenges such as lack of facilities and understanding from students. This study provides practical recommendations for schools and policy makers in maximizing technological innovation for the betterment of basic education quality.

Abstract

Community-based curriculum is one of the innovations in the world of education that emphasizes the importance of collaboration between schools, families, and communities in the learning process. 7 Poe Atikan is one of the implementations of community-based curriculum. This study aims to see whether the 7 Poe Atikan program can improve the effectiveness of character education for students at SDN 1 Tegal Munjul Jaya. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to students, teachers, and guardians. As many as 73% of students stated that they knew enough about this program, then according to one of the teachers, this program also encourages students to learn about issues, culture, or potential in the surrounding community. The results of the questionnaire from guardians, as many as 60% of respondents stated that they were very knowledgeable about the 7 Poe Atikan program, while the rest, namely 40%, felt that they did not know much.

Abstract

Education in the era of digital transformation in Indonesia faces new challenges and opportunities. Teachers, as the spearhead of learning, are required to have adequate digital competencies to implement technology-based education policies. This study aims to understand the role of schools and the government in improving the digital competencies of elementary school teachers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with open-ended questionnaire analysis to collect data from teachers at an elementary school in Purwakarta. The analysis results show that schools and the government have provided support; however, there are still obstacles such as unsustainable training and infrastructure disparities. Internal and external factors such as age, learning motivation, and internet network availability also influence the digitalization of teachers. This study recommends sustainable training strategies, mentoring, and improvement of technological infrastructure to enhance the success of digitalization policies in elementary schools. The findings indicate that digitalization can increase student interest and clarify learning materials, but its effectiveness depends on teacher readiness and student access. The study concludes that teachers’ digital capabilities play a crucial role in the successful implementation of technology-based education policies in elementary schools.

Abstract

Quantum Learning is a learning model that brings students to activities. Technological advancement is known as the 21st century era. The demands of global progress have changed the paradigm of teacher-centered learning into new student-centered learning. The four basic competencies that must be possessed in the 21st century are Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration. The method used in this research is qualitative with an interview and documentation approach, using oral questions and oral answers, plus documentation that serves as supporting data so that the results can be considered valid. The results showed that in phase A, phase B, and phase C, quantum learning had been applied which included giving awards and praise to students. In phase A, contextual learning was done through concrete media. While in phases B and C, teachers try to relate the subject matter to students’ real experiences. For competency-related learning, the school provides worship facilities for all religions, so that students gain an understanding of tolerance. This is certainly in line with some of the skills needed in the 21st century, such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication. In this way, it is hoped that there will be an improvement in learning innovation at the primary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the innovation policy of the IT Movement Program (GENIT) in improving the quality of students in one of the elementary schools in Purwakarta Regency. The background of this research is the importance of integrating information technology in primary education to equip students with 21st century skills. The method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews with teachers and closed questionnaires to students. The results show that technology development policies, including the provision of digital devices and teacher training, have improved interactivity and learning effectiveness. The GENIT program as an extracurricular activity has been proven to encourage the improvement of student achievement in the field of technology. Despite challenges such as lack of student participation in technology activities, parental involvement and school policy support play an important role in successful implementation. This study concludes that collaboration between schools, teachers, students, and parents, as well as structured policy planning, is key in creating an adaptive and competitive quality of education in the digital age.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media teknologi dapat mendukung jalannya proses pembelajaran yang menarik, interaktif, dan efektif. Saat ini, tantangan dalam dunia pendidikan semakin kompleks, terutama dalam menghadapi karakteristik peserta didik yang cepat merasa jenuh dan memiliki motivasi belajar yang rendah. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan teknologi menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai sarana penyampaian informasi yang bersifat interaktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Purwakarta. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui pendekatan studi literatur, angket, dan wawancara langsung terhadap guru dan siswa sebagai subjek utama penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan media teknologi dalam pembelajaran memiliki dampak positif terhadap minat belajar peserta didik secara signifikan. Selain sebagai sarana belajar, teknologi turut memfasilitasi guru dalam menyampaikan materi dengan cara yang lebih kreatif, fleksibel, serta mudah dipahami. Teknologi juga memungkinkan pembelajaran berlangsung secara dua arah, sehingga peserta didik menjadi lebih terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Dengan integrasi yang tepat, penggunaan teknologi menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang lebih energi, menarik, menyenangkan, juga mendukung tujuan pembelajaran tercapai dengan cara yang maksimal.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan dasar yang penting untuk membangun individu yang memiliki keunggulan moral dan spiritual selain keunggulan akademik. Penelitian ini membahas kebijakan yang diterapkan di Purwakarta terkait pembentukan kepribadian siswa melalui program Beas Kaheman di SDN 1 Nagrikidul Purwakarta. Program Beas Kaheman adalah sebuah kebijakan inovatif di 7 Poe Atikan Purwakarta yang fokus pada pembentukan kepribadian siswa melalui tema-tema yang dikembangkan berdasarkan nilai-nilai yang harus diterapkan setiap hari selama seminggu, seperti nasionalisme, religiusitas, daya saing global, penghargaan terhadap seni dan budaya, serta keharmonisan. Program Beas Kaheman ini bertujuan menanamkan nilai-nilai kepedulian sosial, empati, dan semangat berbagi di kalangan siswa, khususnya di SDN 1 Nagrikidul. Metode yang diterapkan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data berbentuk naratif, seperti observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini mengkaji pelaksanaan program beas kaheman, kendala yang muncul selama pelaksanaan, serta usaha guru dalam mengatasi kendala tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa program beas kaheman ini berhasil mengembangkan karakter siswa menjadi  lebih peka lagi. Guru juga merasakan bahwa siswa semakin bersemangat untuk berbagi, berempati, dan peduli terhadap lingkungan di sekitarnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan program Agama, Keagamaan, dan Pendalaman Kitab (AKPK) sebagai upaya penguatan pendidikan karakter di SDN 1 Tegal Munjul, Purwakarta. Program AKPK merupakan bagian dari kebijakan pemerintah Kabupaten Purwakarta yang difokuskan untuk memperkuat nilai-nilai religius siswa, membentuk sikap toleransi, serta menanamkan kebiasaan perilaku religius sejak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket tertutup. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program AKPK memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap semangat belajar, rasa percaya diri, serta penguatan kompetensi religius serta sosial peserta didik. Program ini dinilai sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa serta mampu mendukung proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan. Dukungan sekolah serta peran aktif guru sangat menentukan keberhasilan pelaksanaan program ini. Selain itu, temuan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi tenaga pendidik diperlukan untuk mempertahankan efektivitas dan konsistensi pada pelaksanaan program AKPK. Dengan demikian, program AKPK diharapkan dapat menjadi model praktik baik dalam membentuk karakter siswa secara holistik melalui pendekatan keagamaan yang inklusif dan juga toleran. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini meliputi perlunya evaluasi berkala, penguatan peran keluarga, serta sinergi antara sekolah, pemerintah, dan masyarakat dalam mendukung pendidikan karakter yang berkelanjutan. Secara jangka panjang, program ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga spiritual, emosional, dan sosial peserta didik secara menyeluruh. Program ini juga dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi dalam membangun generasi muda yang berintegritas tinggi, memiliki empati sosial, serta mampu beradaptasi dengan dinamika kehidupan beragama di tengah masyarakat yang majemuk serta multikultural.

Abstract

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) serves as a strategic framework for cultivating students’ character and ecological awareness from an early age. Primary school teachers hold a crucial role as change agents in embedding sustainability values within the learning process. This study aims to analyze elementary school teachers’ competencies in implementing ESD through the Tatanén di Bale Atikan (TdBA) approach and to examine its alignment with the Asia-Pacific ESD Teacher Competency Framework. Employing a descriptive quantitative method, data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) consisting of 15 competency indicators completed by 38 teachers from various elementary schools in Purwakarta Regency. The instrument encompassed three domains: Capacity to Create Learning, Capacity to Connect through Learning, and Capacity to Continue Learning. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings reveal that all indicators achieved an average score above 3.5, with percentage achievements ranging from 71.58% to 92.63%. Teachers demonstrated strong performance in the domains of Capacity to Create Learning and Capacity to Continue Learning. However, the Capacity to Connect through Learning domain requires further improvement, particularly in aspects of community engagement, cross-sectoral collaboration, and sustainable professional development. These findings highlight the importance of reinforcing community-based continuous professional development to ensure a more comprehensive and sustainable integration of ESD within school practicesKeywords: teacher competence, ESD, basic education, TdBA, sustainability.
