Abstract

The need for technology in the world of construction is very important, good use of technology can facilitate the completion of the construction process. One of the developments in digital technology that has had a significant impact in accelerating infrastructure development is Building Information Modeling (BIM). The BIM software used is Autodesk Revit. This research aims to model the structure of the Hibatullah Kasiman Islamic boarding school dormitory building using Autodesk Revit software to calculate work volume and cost estimates, then carry out comparative analysis with conventional methods. Structural modeling includes concrete work and reinforcement in foundations, sloofs, columns and beams. The research results showed that the volume of concrete work using Autodesk Revit software was 861.84 m³, and the estimated cost of concrete work was IDR 1,159,002,226.60, while the volume of reinforcement was 123089.27 kg, and the estimated cost of reinforcement was IDR 2,144,978,024.97. The difference between the volume and estimated cost of concrete work using Autodesk Revit and conventional software was found to be 4.48%, while the difference between the volume and estimated cost of reinforcement was 10.69%. Calculations using Autodesk Revit software are fewer and cheaper than conventional ones, conventional volumes calculated are still rough and less detailed, there are many discrepancies in values with those in the drawings, and more estimates are made to anticipate material shortages at the time. work in the field.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of adding quartz sand as a soil stabilizing agent on CBR (California Bearing Ratio) values. Methods of soil stabilization using quartz sand were investigated to understand the potential for increasing soil carrying capacity. CBR testing was carried out to compare the characteristics of the stabilized soil with that of the original soil. Various percentages of quartz sand addition (0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%) were tested in this study. The CBR test results showed that the addition of quartz sand increased the CBR soil stabilization value compared to the original soil. The results showed that there was a significant increase in soil stabilization and carrying capacity with the addition of quartz sand. However, there is an optimal limit on the proportion of adding quartz sand that gives the highest CBR value, where after reaching a certain point, the increase in the CBR value becomes slower. This research provides insight into the potential use of quartz sand as a soil stabilizing agent in improving soil carrying capacity, which can be applied in infrastructure construction and geotechnical engineering..Keywords: CBR(California Bearing Ratio), Standard Proctor, Quartz Sand

Abstract

This research aims to investigate how effective pretests and posttests with gamification in enhancing student learning outcomes in the Indonesian Language course. Learning Indonesian language is often perceived as less engaging, compulsory, theoretical, and comprising abstract concepts. The researcher involved 152 subjects across four different Indonesian language classes, administering pretests and posttests before and after the material was explained. Two types of gamification were employed: Mentimeter in one class and Quizizz for three classes. The results reveal that all classes demonstrated higher posttest scores compared to their pretest scores. This finding suggests that gamification helps students become more engaged, motivated, focused, and better understand the material, as reflected in improved learning outcomes in Indonesian language course.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the legal effectiveness of diversion mechanisms within Indonesia’s juvenile justice system, particularly in relation to the state’s commitment to restorative justice principles. Although a comprehensive legal framework is in place—namely Law No. 11 of 2012 and Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) No. 4 of 2014 (Peraturan Mahkamah Agung)—the implementation of diversion remains limited, with only 14.1% of juvenile cases resolved through this mechanism. This gap reveals a significant disconnect between legal norms and practical enforcement. The study employs a normative-qualitative legal research method, utilizing document analysis of statutory regulations and institutional reports from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), the Directorate General of Corrections, as well as secondary sources including academic literature, media coverage, and official documentation. Thematic analysis was applied to identify structural, cultural, and institutional barriers in the implementation of diversion. The findings highlight three major issues: (1) regional disparities in the application of diversion, especially between urban centers and disadvantaged (3T) areas; (2) structural obstacles, including a shortage of trained personnel, lack of proper mediation facilities, and weak interagency coordination; and (3) the persistence of a retributive and legalistic legal culture among both law enforcement officials and the general public, which impedes the acceptance of restorative approaches. This study makes a significant contribution to the discourse on juvenile justice reform by emphasizing the need for systemic support and cross-sectoral collaboration to ensure the effective realization of diversion. Policy implications include the strengthening of training programs, infrastructure development, and public legal education. The originality of this research lies in its integrative evaluative framework, which combines legal, institutional, and socio-cultural analysis, offering a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of diversion in Indonesia.
