Abstract

Water energy is indispensable in meeting the needs of all creatures, water energy sources that can be obtained for free must be utilized and maintained as well as possible. Especially in areas that have a large enough potential water source, this potential can later be utilized primarily as a source of electrical energy. Electrical energy is very much used in human activities, so in the process of utilization it must be used as much as possible. With the existence of water energy sources, it will greatly help save energy in this era of rapid development. Wonosobo is one of the areas that has a high potential for water energy sources. This is because the area in Wonosobo has quite high rainfall and a tropical climate, with many streams and water sources scattered in each area. That way it can be maximized regarding the use of water energy sources for power plants located in Wonosobo.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with rapid population growth. With ongoing population growth, the percentage of waste growth in Indonesia is getting higher. Waste is classified into organic and non-organic waste. The waste management system is still less effective and efficient. Piles of rubbish have the potential to produce gases that are dangerous to health. One effort to handle waste is to convert waste into renewable alternative energy. The aim of this research is to determine the potential of organic waste in Indonesia. So that the existing potential can be converted into an alternative biogas energy. This research provides insight into dealing with the potential for managing organic waste as sustainable energy and can reduce the percentage of waste in Indonesia.

Abstract

Air is a component of life that is very important for the survival of living things. Living creatures need oxygen gas to continue breathing. Clean air is hard to find. This is because the air has been polluted by several substances and particles that damage the air network. There are various forms of air pollution, one of which is air pollution due to fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are often used in motor vehicles and industrial factories. This requires special attention by both the government and society. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the impact caused by air pollution and the countermeasures that have been carried out in Indonesia. The method used is the literature study method. This method refers to the analysis of sources such as books and journals. Health is the main aspect that is the impact of air pollution, followed by the economy. The government has issued several policies as an effort to tackle air pollution in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the potential of IoT (Internet of Things) based wind around coastal areas. The research method used is a literature review. Based on this, the data used was obtained from various national and international scientific articles in the form of descriptions. Wind is air that moves from areas that have high pressure to areas that have low pressure. Technological developments provide convenience for human needs. One of them is the application of Internet of Things-based technology to detect wind speed and direction. Based on information obtained from several research journals, the researchers succeeded in detecting wind speed and direction using IoT-based tools. The devices that the researchers used were microcontrollers, Android, power supplies, optocoupler sensors, and magnetic field sensors. So the tool used is designed first to detect wind speed and direction and then the information or data will be stored in a database and can be accessed via the website.

Abstract

Trash is the residue or byproduct of human activities that no longer has economic value, in other words, it is not usable. About 21.1 million tons of trash are generated every year in Indonesia. This trash can come from households or industries. There are two types of trash, organic and inorganic trash. Plastic is one type of inorganic trash. This plastic trash can cause soil pollution because it cannot decompose and can affect soil fertility. With the advancement of technology, many people in Indonesia are starting to shop online, which also affects trash management, especially plastic trash, as it is widely used in online packaging, most of which use bubble wrap. In some areas in Indonesia packaging generates more plastic trash than other types of trash. This article discusses packaging trash from the Indonesian online shopping industry. The research method used in this article is a literature review, which is a way to read, study, and understand something from various sources. Research conducted allows us to understand the impact of increased use of plastic packaging in e-commerce product distribution.

Abstract

Wind is the movement of air from an area with high pressure to an area with low pressure. Wind energy is one of the many abundant renewable energies. One example of the use of wind energy in Indonesia is the Wind Power Plant. A vertical axis wind turbine is a wind turbine that moves vertically where its axis is perpendicular to the ground surface. The advantage of this vertical axis windmill is that the turbine is not always directed towards the wind. The disadvantage of vertical axis wind turbines is that their efficiency is lower than horizontal axis wind turbines because there is lower wind speed and air resistance. In this article we will explain about vertical axis wind turbines, Wind Power Plants, and how wind turbines work. The research method used in writing this article is the literature study research method by reviewing several articles. From the research that has been carried out, the results obtained are an understanding of vertical axis wind turbines and wind power plants.

Abstract

Physics is considered an important subject that is taught as a subject in itself with various considerations. Physics is seen as both a process and a product, so successful physics learning requires attention to effective and efficient learning. The utilization of Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves has great potential in the field of food security. ELF waves have low-frequency characteristics that create a unique potential to influence microbial activity and nutrient availability in improving food security productivity. ELF waves can be used to increase the productivity and quality of food crops, as well as extend the shelf life of food products. Thus, the utilization of ELF waves can help in achieving sustainable food security. In an effort to improve food security, it is necessary to innovate and develop technology that can support agricultural productivity. More research is still needed to fully understand the mechanism of action of ELF waves and how best to use them in agricultural and food processing practices.

Abstract

Climate change and wind patterns have become the focus of global attention due to their damaging impacts on the environment and ecosystems around the world. This study aims to analyze the impacts of climate change, including global temperature rise and changes in extreme weather patterns, and their implications for changes in global wind patterns. The data analysis method is based on a literature study on the interaction between climate change and wind patterns, including their effects on natural cycles and environmental sustainability. The results show that climate change induced by human activities, such as increased greenhouse gas emissions, has led to an increase in global average temperatures. This has resulted in drastic changes to wind patterns in many parts of the world, including an increase in extreme weather events such as tropical storms, floods and extensive droughts. These impacts damage terrestrial and marine ecosystems, disrupt the balance of nature, and threaten the sustainability of natural resources. The effects of climate change and wind patterns are not only limited to environmental aspects, but also affect the economic sector and human well-being. With the increasing risk of natural disasters and environmental damage, mitigation and adaptation efforts need to be enhanced through the implementation of sustainable policies, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and development of environmentally friendly technologies. Increasing global awareness of the importance of collective action to address climate change and wind patterns is key to securing the future of the global environment and ecosystem sustainability.
