Abstract

Academic information quality plays a strategic role in supporting decision-making processes and enhancing the effectiveness of educational management in schools. However, in practice, many schools continue to experience challenges related to the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of academic information due to information system governance and management that have not yet been optimally implemented. This study aims to assess the current condition of academic information system governance and management while formulating an improvement model based on the COBIT 2019 framework to enhance academic information quality in schools. This research adopts a quantitative approach using an evaluative method. Data were collected through literature review, field observations, interviews, and questionnaires developed according to selected COBIT 2019 domains, namely EDM02 (Ensure Benefits Delivery), EDM04 (Ensure Resource Optimization), EDM05 (Ensure Stakeholder Engagement), and APO14 (Manage Data). The collected data were analyzed to determine process maturity levels, identify existing gaps, and formulate improvement recommendations. The results indicate that the maturity level of academic information system governance and management falls within the defined process to established process categories, with maturity scores ranging from 60.1% to 70%. The primary gaps were identified in academic data management, optimization of information technology resources, and the measurement of information system benefits. Based on these findings, this study recommends strengthening academic information system governance and management through improved data management practices, optimal utilization of IT resources, and enhanced stakeholder involvement. The proposed model is expected to serve as a reference for schools in sustainably improving academic information quality

Abstract

A crucial component of the legal system that governs how the testator's posthumous assets are divided among his heirs is inheritance law. Indonesia now has two different systems of inheritance law in place: civil inheritance law and Islamic inheritance law. Islamic inheritance law is based on the Qur'an, Hadith, and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), whereas civil inheritance law is regulated by the Civil Code (KUHPer). These two systems have differences principles, distribution mechanisms, and dispute resolution. These differences are often a source of problems in practice, especially for people between the two legal systems. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare Indonesian civil and Islamic inheritance laws in order to give a more thorough understanding of their traits, parallels, and divergences. The study employs a comparative legal perspective and a normative legal research methodology. The legal provisions found in both Islamic and civil law's inheritance-related laws and regulations are examined using the normative legal approach. To find the distinctions and parallels between the two legal systems, a comparative legal technique is also employed. This study's data sources include secondary legal documents like books and pertinent periodicals, as well as main legal materials like the Indonesian Compilation of Laws, the Civil Code, and other laws. It is anticipated that this study will aid in the development of Indonesian inheritance law, particularly by offering suggestions for initiatives to unify civil and Islamic inheritance laws in order to establish legal clarity and fairness in the distribution of inheritance in society

Abstract

Background: As sustainable finance gains prominence, blockchain technology has emerged as an innovative tool to enhance transparency, efficiency, and trust in Islamic capital markets. Blockchain-based Green Sukuk is one of the applications in finance and has the potential to attract investment interest from Generation Z, a demographic characterized by a strong openness to innovation. Objectives: This study aims to examines the determinants of Generation Z’s investment interest in Indonesia’s blockchain-based Green Sukuk. Novelty: This study addresses the relationships between digital financial literacy, Islamic fintech, and Generation Z’s investment interest in blockchain-based green sukuk. Research Methodology / Design: This research adopts a quantitative approach, collecting survey data from Generation Z respondents with knowledge or experience in digital financial services. The study focuses on two main predictors: digital financial literacy and Islamic fintech adoption. Findings: Findings reveal that higher digital financial literacy significantly increases the likelihood of investing in blockchain-based Green Sukuk, as it equips young investors with the ability to assess risks, understand product features, and navigate digital investment platforms. Furthermore, Islamic fintech serves as an enabler by providing Sharia-compliant, user-friendly, and accessible channels for sustainable investment products. The integration of blockchain in Green Sukuk issuance is found to strengthen investor confidence by ensuring accountability and traceability of funds toward environmentally beneficial projects. Implication: The results offer practical implications for policymakers, Islamic financial institutions, and fintech providers seeking to engage younger generations in sustainable Islamic finance. By combining sustainability goals, Sharia compliance, and emerging technology, this study contributes to bridging the gap between environmental objectives and the evolving investment preferences of Generation Z in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation on customer satisfaction and trust in the Islamic insurance industry in the digital era, while also examining the moderating role of digital literacy. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory and cross-sectional survey design, the research involved 200 Islamic insurance customers in the Greater Jakarta area selected through purposive sampling. The study focused on evaluating the influence of AI features such as chatbots, automated claim processes, and service personalization on customer perceptions. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 25 with multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results indicate that AI has a positive and significant impact on both customer satisfaction and trust. Furthermore, digital literacy significantly moderates these relationships. These findings highlight that the effectiveness of AI implementation is greatly influenced by customers’ digital literacy and alignment with Sharia principles. This research contributes empirically to filling the gap in literature on Islamic financial technology and offers practical implications for developing ethical and inclusive AI-driven digital service strategies.
