Abstract

This study aims to explain the factors that encourage online impulse purchases on the TikTok Shop application. The study population consists of all Indonesian people who have made online purchases through the TikTok Shop. In this study, researchers used convinience sampling with a total sample of 138 respondents obtained through an online Google Forms survey. The results of this study indicate that 1) there is a positive effect of the hedonic browsing variable on urge to buy impulsively, 2) there is an indirect effect between utilitarian browsing and the urge to buy impulsively through the influence of hedonic browsing, 3) the interpersonal influence variable has a negative effect on both hedonic and utilitarian browsing, 4) there is a positive effect of the visual appeal variable on hedonic browsing, but it has a negative effect on utilitarian browsing, 5) the portability variable does not have a positive effect on hedonic browsing, but it has a positive effect on utilitarian browsing, 6 ) the quality of information variable has a negative effect on the hedonic browsing experience in the TikTok Shop, but it has a positive effect on the utilitarian browsing experience in the TikTok Shop

Abstract

Research skills need to be possessed by students in the era of educational revolution 4.0 and society 5.0. The efforts that have been made to apply a scientific approach still have not maximized research skills for students. An independent curriculum with a new learning paradigm enables the achievement of student research skills and a research culture in schools can be realized. These skills should also be possessed by Indonesian students in other countries, including those at the Indonesian School of Davao (SID)-Philippines. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out dissemination regarding learning that can foster a research culture, through activities carried out together with teachers at SID. This step is a form of educational reform that can help teachers prepare their students to compete at the global level. A research culture can be realized through the application of the Differentiate Indirect Learning (Dif-In-Le) learning model with a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) approach. The agreed activity plan is training. However, because there was a restructuring of school principals, the activity was changed to a brainstorming with the Indonesian Consulate General in Davao attended by Filipino SID teachers.  The aim of this service activity is to identify the needs of SID teachers regarding innovative learning. An innovative learning model was introduced that can foster a research culture for students and schools, namely Dif-In-Le STEM approach. As a result of identifying needs, it was found that an introduction to Indonesian culture was needed for Indonesian children living in Davao, Philippines.

Abstract

Ti-Cu doped ZnO thin film has been successfully deposited on a preparate glass substrate using the spin coating method with post-treatment annealing temperatures of 350oC - 550oC. This research analyzes the structure and morphology of Ti-Cu doped ZnO thin films on DSSC performance. The crystal structure of Ti-Cu doped ZnO thin film was characterized using X-Ray diffraction (XRD) to determine the effect of annealing temperature on the quality of its crystal structure. XRD results show that the crystal structure is dominant in the (101) plane, with lattice parameters in the crystal tending to be constant at a = b = 5.21 and c = 3.25 so that the crystal volume tends to be constant at 47.77 Ã…. Furthermore, the FWHM value tends to decrease from 0.4419o to 0.2523o, crystal size tends to increase from 19.76 nm to 34.60 nm, dislocation density decreases from 0.0025 nm-2 to 0.0008 nm-2, stress decreases from 0.58% to 0.33%, and strain tends to increase from -1.364 GPa to -0.782 GPa. This indicates an improvement in crystal structure along with the addition of an annealing temperature of 350oC - 550oC. The SEM results showed that an annealing temperature of 450oC is a good temperature compared to other film variations, as evidenced by the agglomeration's narrowing and the grain size decrease.

Abstract

The prevalent issue of low social skills and interpersonal communication among adolescents increases vulnerability to violence, such as bullying, both within the school environment and in social circles. Therefore, this research aimed to measure the effectiveness of social skills training (SST) in improving students' interpersonal communication skills. A quantitative experimental method was adopted, using the Quasi-Experimental Design in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Students from grade VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Negeri 3 Bantul were selected as respondents through purposive sampling and were analyzed using paired sample t-tests. The pre-test and post-test results showed significant improvements in students' interpersonal communication skills in the experimental group, whereas no such improvements were observed in the control group. In conclusion, SST effectively improved interpersonal communication skills of students at MTs Negeri 3 Bantul.

Abstract

The millennial generation is a generation of the 21st century whose presence is often called the Gen-Z generation. Psychology is the main difference between this generation and other generations. Factors that support them to remain enthusiastic in learning need to be implemented. In line with this. This research aims to describe survey results related to social support from peers in shaping self-esteem for the millennial generation. This research is a descriptive survey research. The main data sources are observation, interviews and questionnaires. The research steps taken were analyzing the data and validating the data with expert opinions, as well as several relevant studies. The research respondents were class X students at MA Sunan Pandanaran Yogyakarta. The research results show that. Peer support that has been carried out by MA Sunan Pandanaran students is social emotional support; award information. And instrumental. Based on the results of interviews and filling out questionnaires, several forms of social support from peers are considered to be able to increase self-esteem for students.

Abstract

Dalam kurun satu dekade, marketplace telah jauh berkembang dengan pesat. Hal ini tidak luput dari kegiatan promosi pada sejumlah perusahaan dagang berbasis elektronik, salah satunya kegiatan online flash sale (OFS). Penelitian tentang OFS masih jarang dilakukan di Indonesia, oleh karena itu penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis faktor pengaruh niat pembelian pada online flash sale di Shopee. Variabel yang digunakan adalah tekanan waktu, sebagai bagian dari keterbatasan yang diciptakan dari OFS, serta keterlibatan produk dan nilai yang dirasakan konsumen. Nilai yang dirasakan berupa nilai harga, fungsional, emosional, dan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer, yakni meninjau langsung pada pengguna Shopee untuk menunjang analisis secara konkret melalui analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian yang digambarkan berkontribusi dalam penelitian lanjutan dan kualitas kegiatan online flash sale di Shopee sehingga dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan dalam mengembangkan strategi pemasaran. Kata Kunci: online flash sale, tekanan waktu, keterlibatan produk, nilai yang dirasakan, niat beli.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explore the opportunity and challenge of implementing community counseling from Indonesian and American perspective. This article used a literature study approach. The literature study was conducted by reviewing books, journals, and research results publications from 2000 to 2017 and previous publications related to community counseling. Data analysis techniques in this study are quantitative data analysis techniques and qualitative data analysis techniques. This article concluded that the possible opportunity that can be applied to meet the challenge faced in achieving the optimization of the implementation of community counseling in Indonesia and America. Community counseling in the Indonesian perspective has the opportunity to be applied in formal and non-formal setting, but the challenge needs to be the provision of professional human resource and system support. Community counseling in the American perspective has the opportunity for rapid development in non-formal setting, but the challenge lies in the complexity of cultural issue and group identity.

Abstract

Social-emotional learning is an essential aspect of an individual's development. Thisresearch aims to determine the profile of social-emotional learning and differences in social-emotional learning scores based on gender and grade level among junior high school students in Java. This research uses a quantitative approach with a comparative research type. The sample in this study was 2036 junior high school students on the island of Java. The data collection technique in this research used a social-emotional learning scale, which was tested for validity and reliability using the RASCH model. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptive statistics and the ANOVA test. The results show that the majority of junior high school students in Java had a high score in social-emotional learning (N=65.4%), and only 0.1% of students categorized indeficient. Students' social-emotional levels were not influenced by gender or grade level. The self-management aspect had the lowest score, and the self-awareness aspect had the highest score in social-emotional learning. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide an overview of the conditions of social-emotional learning in students and become a reference for the development of social-emotional learning program in schools.Guidance and Counseling teachers can improve the lowest aspect of social-emotional learning through various techniques and methods so students can have good social-emotional learning skills in all aspects. Future research needs to explore the factors that influence high levels of SEL in students and expand the research sample to obtain broader generalizations.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have made it easier for public figures, such as the late Kobe Bryant, a basketball star from the United States, to be recognized by people around the world, including Indonesia. Sportswear and footwear manufacturer Nike has capitalized on its popularity to market sports products, especially basketball shoes, products that fit Kobe Bryant’s area of expertise. This study aims to analyze the effect of attitudes towards Kobe Bryant as an endorser, attitudes towards the Nike brand, and subjective norms on consumer purchase intentions for Nike brand basketball shoes. The population in this study are Indonesian people who have knowledge of Kobe Bryant and the Nike brand but have never bought Nike brand basketball shoes. Primary data was collected by distributing questionnaires boldly to 231 respondents. Purposive sampling tech- nique aims to be used to determine the sample. Four hypotheses have been tested using the AMOS program version 24 and the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method, and all hypotheses are supported.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of kombucha produced from a secondary fermentation process with the addition of extracts of cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii) and secang wood (Caesalpinia sappan). The study used a RAK design with 2-factor treatments and 4 replications. Treatment factors included the addition of ingredients (control, cinnamon, and secang wood) and secondary fermentation time (24, 48, and 72 hours). Characteristics observed include analysis of pH, density, and color (Lab). The results showed that there were significant differences in the pH value, density, and color due to the various treatments of adding ingredients. The pH value and density of kombucha did not differ significantly due to the variation in secondary fermentation time, but there were significant differences in the color of kombucha based on the secondary fermentation time.
