Abstract

Industrial development plays an important role in supporting Indonesia’s economic growth, particularly in the property sector, which attracts increasing investor interest. This study examines the effect of the price earnings ratio, current ratio, and debt to equity ratio on stock prices of property sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with return on assets as a moderating variable. The study uses panel data from 12 property companies over the 2018–2022 period. Panel data regression with moderation analysis is applied using EViews version 12. The results indicate that the price earnings ratio and return on assets have a significant effect on stock prices, while the current ratio and debt to equity ratio do not show a significant influence. The moderation analysis reveals that Return on Assets strengthens the relationship between the price earnings ratio and stock prices, but does not moderate the effects of liquidity and leverage ratios. The coefficient of determination shows that the independent and moderating variables explain 37.58 % of stock price variation, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings provide useful insights for investors and related institutions in evaluating stock price movements in the property sector.

Abstract

Abstract

This study focuses on the merger of three Islamic banks into Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), a significant development in Islamic banking in Indonesia. This merger presents a fundamental issue for examining how customers respond to and contribute to the sustainability of Sharia compliance at BSI. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, this study collected data from 252 BSI customers selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that service quality has a positive and significant influence on the sustainability of Sharia compliance. Conversely, trust does not significantly influence the sustainability of Sharia compliance.

Abstract

Background: Rising environmental awareness pushes firms to build green brand image, yet many suffer gaps between claims and reality. This study examines the effects of Ecosentris Values, Green Authority, Ecological Operational Consistency, and Sustainable Identity Coherence on Green Brand Image. Methods: Quantitative causal-explanatory design with 100 randomly selected consumers. Data processed via SPSS within a SEM-PLS framework to assess measurement and structural models. Results: All four variables exert positive significant effects: Ecosentris Values (β=0.168; p=0.041), Green Authority (β=0.215; p=0.006), Ecological Operational Consistency (β=0.194; p=0.016), and Sustainable Identity Coherence (β=0.342; p=0.000). The model explains 62.8% of variance in green brand image. Conclusion: Green brand image emerges from synergy among foundational values, competence trust, behavioral alignment, and unified identity. Sustainable identity coherence is the strongest predictor, indicating holistic alignment matters more than partial efforts.

Abstract

Batik Tapak Dara micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are a group of business actors facing challenges in financial management, particularly in recording business transactions in a simple and systematic manner. An initial survey conducted in January–February 2026 indicated that most MSME actors had insufficient understanding of basic financial recording. The problems were reflected in irregular recording of income and expenses, the absence of separation between business and personal finances, and increasing business management pressures due to declining income and rising operational costs. This community service activity aimed to improve the financial literacy and basic financial recording skills of MSME actors and assist participants in applying more systematic financial records in their business activities. The activity was conducted from March to May 2026 and involved 30 MSME actors through the Participatory Action Learning System (PALS) approach, consisting of training, practical exercises, and mentoring on basic financial recording. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test assessments to measure changes in participants’ knowledge before and after the intervention. The evaluation results showed that the mean knowledge score increased from 42.3 in the pre-test to 78.6 in the post-test. This represents an increase of 36.3 points or 85.8% compared with the initial score. Furthermore, 26 participants (86.7%) were able to correctly practice cash-flow recording, sales records, purchase records, and the separation of business and personal finances after participating in the activity. These results indicate an improvement in participants’ basic financial knowledge and practical skills following the intervention. The contribution of this activity was to provide MSME actors with practical skills for implementing simple financial records as a basis for more organized business management and improved decision-making.

Abstract

Online fashion retail is characterized by intense competition, abundant product choices, and increasingly digital consumer decision-making. This study examines the effects of purchase interest, celebrity endorsers, and brand equity on Zalora purchase decisions, with variety seeking positioned as the central mediating mechanism. A quantitative survey was conducted using purposive sampling, involving 71 respondents who had purchased products from Zalora. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that purchase interest, celebrity endorsers, and brand equity significantly influence purchase decisions, whereas variety seeking does not have a significant direct effect. Importantly, variety seeking significantly mediates the effects of purchase interest and celebrity endorsers on purchase decisions, but does not mediate the effect of brand equity. These findings indicate that variety seeking plays a mixed and context-dependent role: it does not independently determine the final purchase decision, but it can transmit the effects of consumer motivation and promotional cues. The study, therefore, contributes to digital consumer behavior research by positioning variety seeking not simply as a direct driver but as a conditional pathway through which selected antecedents translate into online purchase decisions. Managerially, online fashion retailers should strengthen purchase interest, select credible, product-congruent endorsers, build brand equity, and manage product variety as a decision-support tool rather than relying on assortment breadth alone.
