Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi Kemampuan motorik halus di PAUD Harapan Bunda Desa Riding Kec. Pangkalan Lampam Kab. Ogan Komering Ilir, pada anak-anak di kelompok B tergolong masih rendah. Dari 15 anak yang ada terdapat 11 anak yang motorik halusnya rendah, yaitu koordinasi mata dan tangannya yang masih kurang baik yang ditandai dengan anak belum mampu memegang pensil dengan benar Plastisin bisa menjadi alternatif untuk mengembangkan motorik halus anak karena dalam menggunakan plastisin melibatkan jari jemari, koordinasi mata dan tangan, dan manipulasi benda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan motorik halus anak di PAUD Harapan Bunda Desa Riding Kec. Pangkalan Lampam Kab. OKI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas.  Menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Tindakan yang dilakukan peneliti dan guru yaitu menjelaskan terlebih dahulu sebelum melakukan kegiatan belajar menggunakan plastisin, dengan menggunakan tahap penelitian prasiklus, Siklus I dan Siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap pra-siklus tingkat kemampuan motorik halus anak berada dikategori mulai berkembang yaitu skor 314 dengan presentase 20%. Sedangkan menggunakan plastisin pada siklus I berada dikategori mulai berkembang yaitu skor 434 dengan presentase 33%.  Pada siklus II mencapai peningkatan yang dikategorikan berkembang sesuai harapan yaitu skor 558 dengan presentase 80%.

Pembimbing : (1) Dr. Sumarno, M.Pd; (2) Dr. Muhtarom, M.Pd Dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar guru perlu menenerapkan inovasi model pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan sehingga anak dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan sebaik-baiknya. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kemapuan berbahasa awal dan motivasi siswa dengan upaya tercapai pelaksanaan model pembelajaran tutor sebaya ramah anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran tutor sebaya ramah anak terhadap kemampuan berbahasa awal dan motivasi siswa di SDN 02 Gejlig serta pencapaian pelaksanaannya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa siswa SDN 02 Gejlig Kecamatan kajen kabupaten Pekalalongan yang memiliki karakteristik siswa baru disekolah umur 6-7 th dengan jumlah siswa 16 anak dalam 1 kelas dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok dengan masing-masing kelompok 4 anak terdiri dari 1 tutor dan 3 resipien. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Pengujian penelitian terdiri dari uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrument, uji prasyarat, dan uji hipotesis yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji t, uji manova, dan uji N-gain score. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan bantuan program komputer SPSS 16.0 for windows dan microsoft excel. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran tutor sebaya ramah anak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa awal dan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil uji hipotesis ditemukan bahwa uji manova pada tabel box's M test diperoleh nilai signifikannya 0,208 yaitu kovarian kelompok data adalah sama, tabel multivariate test dan test of between subject effect diperoleh nilai signifikannya 0,000 yaitu menunjukkan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran tutor sebaya ramah anak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak berbahasa awal dan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, serta uji N- gain score berada pada kategori cukup efektif terhadap kemampuan berbahasa awal dengan N-gain score senilai 0,67 dan kategori efektif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan N-gain score senilai 0,79. Hasil pencapaian pelaksanaan tutor sebaya ramah anak berkategori baik ditunjukkan dari hasil rata-rata prosentase dari rekap nilai ketercapaina pelaksanaan model pemeblajaran tutor sebaya senilai 92,57 %. .Semoga dengan adanya penelitian ini sebagai bahan masukan bagi guru dan calon guru untuk memilih metode pembelajaran yang tepat terhadap kemempuan berbahasa awal dan motivasi belajar siswa sehingga perkembangan yang dicapai dapat maksimal. Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan pokok yang harus diselesaikan adalah rendahnya kemampuan serta keterampilan guru SD di Kabupaten Demak dalam menulis artikel ilmiah berbasis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah guru khususnya terkait pembuatan artikel ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian diikuti sebanyak 40 guru SD di Kabupaten Demak. Pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan andragogi dimana persentase kegiatan praktik lebih besar dari pada kegiatan penyampaian materi. Pendampingan secara intensif juga dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa luaran dari kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat tercapai. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingginya antusiasme guru saat pelatihan maunpun pendampingan praktik pembuatan artikel ilmiah. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pemahaman guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah, sebanyak dua puluh guru telah dapat membuat artikel dengan baik dan telah mensubmit artikelnya di jurnal ilmiah yang dituju. One of the main problems that must be resolved is the low ability and skills of elementary school teachers in Demak Regency in writing scientific articles based on classroom action research (PTK). Service activities are carried out to help solve teacher problems, especially related to making scientific articles. The service activity was attended by 40 elementary school teachers in Demak Regency. The training uses an andragogical approach where the percentage of practical activities is greater than the delivery of material. Intensive mentoring is also carried out to ensure that the output of this training activity can be achieved. The results of the activity show the high enthusiasm of teachers during training and mentoring in the practice of writing scientific articles. The results of mentoring activities show that there is an increase in teachers' understanding of writing scientific articles, as many as twenty teachers have been able to make articles well and have submitted their articles to the intended scientific journals.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic like today, the majority of teenagers who are members of the RT 7 RW 9 Karangtaruna RT 7 RW 9 Kelurahan Gemah Pedurungan Semarang have been laid off and unemployed. This PKM activity aims to provide training for youth Karangtaruna RT 7 RW 9 Kelurahan Gemah Pedurungan Semarang City to have knowledge and skills in batik. The method used to achieve this goal is by training more demonstrations, question and answer and practice as well as mentoring. The training material is presented with more practice than theory, with a ratio of 25% theory and 75% practice. The expertise of the PKM team will be useful in training in batik skills, making batik motifs, making online marketing media implemented to PKM partners. The involvement of experts will be carried out to optimize the results of PKM activities. The results of PKM activities show that the level of understanding of the participants in the understanding of batik theory and business promotion through online media has increased. This is shown by the work produced by the community service participants.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing this service activity is to provide training and assistance to teachers at SMP N 1 Pecangaan and SMP N 2 Pecangaan in classroom action research (CAR). The output to be achieved in this program is that teachers at SMP N 1 Pecangaan and SMP N 2 Pecangaan attend CAR training so that they are able to make proposals, carry out CAR in class, are able to compile CAR reports and can write scientific articles for publication. The training is carried out in groups with an andragogy approach. The training method is carried out using the following methods: lectures and questions and answers, demonstrations, exercises and practices. Simultaneously the training was followed by mentoring activities in the preparation of proposals, implementation of open classes and assistance in the preparation of reports and articles. Training and mentoring activities through IbM Class Action Research activities for teachers of SMP N 1 Pecangaan and SMP N 2 have implications for teachers' understanding of the implementation of CAR to their ability to compile published articles.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the mapping of new mathematics education students at the PGRI University of Semarang (UPGRIS) in 2017 - 2019 based on the distribution of regions and school origins. The test uses a descriptive method, namely explaining and describing an object with existing facts. The research data was sourced from the UPGRIS PMB Bureau and UPT TIK UPGRIS, namely registrants at FPMIPATI, PGRI University Semarang from 2017 to 2019. Based on the mapping of the region of origin of prospective students, it was found that the applicant base for the Mathematics Education Study Program was Semarang City, Demak Regency, Pati Regency, Grobogan Regency, Rembang Regency, Blora Regency, Jepara Regency, Kendal Regency, and Pemalang Regency.

Abstract

Learning mathematics using traditional setting make students only memorize formulas and are good at counting without knowing the meaning behind the formula or calculation. As a result they cannot use mathematics in problem solving. Good quality in learning mathematics can only be realized by teachers who master the right mathematical approach. Realistic Mathematics Education Smart Camp is a 32 hours model training activity to facilitate mathematics teachers who are members of the city/district Mathematics council to improve the quality of mathematics learning through training in making progressive learning designs through the RME approach. This article compares how the condition of teachers related to their mathematical abilities in solving problems before and after participating in the training. Mathematics teacher show that their ablity in beginning were still lay on third level Bloom Cognitive hierarchy. They master calculating and applying formula in certain mathematics application. However, in the real context, they failed to use mathematics. After given progressive workshop, they were able to apply mathematics in any condition. They literated in using mathematics to solve daily problem. From this comparison, it can be concluded that the RME Smart Camp training has a significant role in improving the ability of teachers to prepare mathematics lessons that foster meaningful understanding using students' abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the analysis of mathematical literacy in solving quantity content PISA-oriented questions for high school students in terms of gender differences. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Tanjung Brebes Regency in 2020/2021. The subjects of this study were six students of class X MIPA representing groups of mathematics literacy test results (low, medium, and high) and of different genders. The subjects in this study used a purposive sample technique, which was determined based on the results of written mathematical literacy tests and gender. The data was collected through a mathematics literacy test oriented to the quantity content PISA and interviews. Meanwhile, the triangulation used in this study was method triangulation. The results showed that female students had better mathematical literacy than male students on 2 of the 4 indicators of mathematical literacy. Overall, female’s mathematical literacy is superior than male students.

Abstract

Many teachers have difficulties in publishing scientific articles in National Journals. This service activity aims to provide training and assistance to teachers at SMP N 2 Gubug so that they have the knowledge and skills in making scientific articles and can be published in National Journals. The method used to achieve this goal is to train more questions and answers and practice as well as mentoring. The training material is presented with more practice than theory. The team's expertise is very helpful and useful in solving service partner problems so that teachers at SMP N 2 Gubug can create and publish scientific articles. Community service activities have been able to improve teacher understanding in the preparation of scientific articles, the use of Mendeley for reference management and how to submit scientific articles in national journals through OJS. This is in line with the increase in the average pre-test score from 3,494 which increased to 4,381.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the mathematics communication profile of junior high school students in solving statistical problems based on gender differences. This research is descriptive qualitative. The triangulation used in this research is the triangulation of techniques / methods. The results showed that on indicators linking everyday language with mathematics language, students with masculine gender got lower results than students with feminine gender by a difference of 16.7%. Meanwhile, for the second indicator, namely reflecting / describing mathematical statements in tabular form, students with masculine gender were superior to students with feminine gender by a difference of 16.7% as well. Furthermore, for indicators of understanding, evaluating and interpreting mathematical ideas in solving problems in writing, students with feminine gender are superior to students with masculine gender by a difference of 33.37%. for the last indicator, namely concluding the answers according to the questions, students with masculine gender get lower results again than students with feminine gender by a difference of 50%.
