Abstract

The Management of School–Community Relations Program to Enhance Community Participation (At SMAN 1 Ampana Kota). This research aims to describe: (1) the planning of the school–community relations program; (2) the implementation of the school– community relations program; (3) the impact of the school–community relations program; and (4) the supporting and inhibiting factors of the school–community relations program. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, documentation studies, and observations. The data analysis process involves data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: (1) The planning of the school–community relations program at SMAN 1 Ampana Kota is carried out through several stages, including planning, socialization, activity implementation, and evaluation. The school applies a collaborative approach with the community to achieve the program’s objectives; (2) The implementation of the school–community relations program involves the active roles of teachers and school staff in organizing activities and building effective communication with the community to foster active participation and support the sustainability of the program; (3) The impact of the school–community relations program on community participation includes increased community involvement in various school activities, such as parent meetings, social events, and school facility improvements. Moreover, this program has also shifted community perceptions about education. The community is increasingly aware of the importance of their contributions in supporting their children's education, which is reflected in their growing participation in school-organized activities; (4) The supporting and inhibiting factors of the school–community relations program include supporting factors such as awareness of the program's benefits, open communication between the school and the community, and the success of previous activities. Inhibiting factors include the community's limited time, lack of understanding of the program’s objectives, and geographical distance, which makes it difficult for some community members to attend school events. To overcome these obstacles, the school has taken measures to adjust activity schedules, improve socialization about the program's objectives, and provide better access for community members.

Abstract

The application of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in distance education plays an important role in supporting teaching and learning in the digital era. This article reviews various literatures to evaluate the effectiveness, benefits, and challenges faced in using LMS. The review shows that LMS can improve the flexibility and quality of learning by providing various digital features such as material storage, evaluation system, and online communication. However, LMS implementation is also faced with a number of obstacles such as limited internet access, lack of technological literacy, and cost factors. In conclusion, the success of LMS implementation is highly dependent on educational policy support, user training, and adequate infrastructure readiness. With the right attention and management, LMS has great potential to optimise distance education and promote inclusivity in the education system.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of dynamic capability, strategic innovation, and market orientation on competitive advantage among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector. In an increasingly dynamic and competitive business environment, culinary MSMEs must develop adaptive and market-driven strategies to sustain superior performance. Drawing upon dynamic capability theory and market orientation perspectives, this research proposes an integrated framework to explain how internal capabilities and external market responsiveness contribute to competitive advantage. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed, using survey data collected from 210 culinary MSME owners and managers. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that dynamic capability, strategic innovation, and market orientation each have a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage. Strategic innovation emerges as the strongest direct predictor of competitive advantage. Furthermore, strategic innovation partially mediates the relationship between dynamic capability and competitive advantage, while market orientation significantly moderates the relationship between dynamic capability and strategic innovation. The model explains 67.2% of the variance in competitive advantage, indicating substantial explanatory power. These findings suggest that sustainable competitiveness in culinary MSMEs is achieved through the integration of adaptive capabilities, continuous innovation, and strong market responsiveness. The study contributes to strategic management literature by clarifying the interplay among dynamic capability, innovation strategy, and market orientation in enhancing MSME competitiveness, while also offering practical implications for entrepreneurs and policymakers.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between work stress, supervisor support, mindfulness, employee well-being, and job performance outcomes. Drawing on the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) framework, this research investigates how work stress as a job demand and supervisor support and mindfulness as organizational and personal resources influence employee well-being and performance. A quantitative approach was employed using a cross-sectional survey design, with data collected from 250 employees across various sectors. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that work stress has a significant negative effect on both employee well-being and job performance. In contrast, supervisor support and mindfulness show significant positive effects on well-being and performance. Furthermore, employee well-being significantly influences job performance and serves as a key mediating variable in the relationships between work stress, supervisor support, mindfulness, and performance outcomes. These findings highlight the importance of reducing workplace stress while enhancing organizational support and individual mindfulness practices to improve employee well-being and productivity. The study contributes to the literature by integrating job demands, organizational resources, and personal resources into a comprehensive model, offering practical implications for organizations aiming to achieve sustainable performance through employee well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to research the innovation of extracurricular programs carried out by school principals to build 21st-century skills in students at SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. Extracurricular program innovation It is considered a strategy to develop the skills required by students in the 21st-century era, such as creativity, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing the innovation of extracurricular programs implemented by the principal of SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. The study results show that extracurricular program innovations carried out by school principals have a significant role in building 21st-century skills in students. Various innovatively designed extracurricular programs can help students develop critical, creative, communicative, and collaborative skills. In addition, the innovation also provides a space for students to explore their interests and talents outside of the formal curriculum. However, it was found that there were several obstacles related to the program's implementation, namely budget limitations, inadequate facilities, and lack of special training for teachers. These constraints hinder the effectiveness and sustainability of extracurricular programs designed to meet the needs of 21st-century skills. The implication of the results of this study is the need for further support for school principals in developing and implementing extracurricular program innovations relevant to the demands of 21st-century proficiency needs.
