Abstract

This study aims to prevent juvenile delinquency behavior by developing a counseling model of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The problem of counseling skills for counseling teachers is an interesting study to do because in the industrial revolution era there were many problems for adolescents. The counseling model of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is important to train teachers BK because this counseling model has a problem-solving focus on cognitive restructuring compared to other counseling models and approaches. The development of this model training was carried out for BK Teachers at SMP and SMA Padang Panjang. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis that has been carried out, it shows that the implementation of individual counseling by BK teachers with the CBT approach is generally in the medium category with an achievement of 74.6%. Furthermore, the implementation of individual counseling by BK teachers with the CBT approach is in the high category with an achievement of 17.6% and a small proportion is in the low category with an achievement of 5.9%. The results of this analysis illustrate that, the implementation of individual counseling by BK teachers with the CBT approach still needs to be developed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas model Just Community terhadap pengembangan karakter Anak Binaan Hukum (ABH) di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA). Subjek penelitian ini adalah ABH yang berusia 14 sampai 18 berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan telah berada di LPKA selama 1 bulan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksprimen model randomized pretest-posttest control group design yaitu dua kelompok kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan pengolahan data didapatkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara karakter ABH pada kelompok eksperimen dengan karakter ABH pada kelompok kontrol. Rata-rata gain score karakter ABH pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,302 lebih besar dari rata-rata gain score karakter ABH kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,165. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Just Community dapat meningkatkan karakteristik ABH di LPKA

Abstract

This article focuses on the development of, and research about, a strong democracy education intervention, the Just Community approach. Three questions frame the discussion: 1) Does Just Community change student or do student in these program change their school? 2) How Just Community change student and how Just Community change their school? 3) How can democracy be 'learned' by student in these program? This article begins with a brief history of the Just Community approach, a description of the original developmental model created by Lawrence Kohlberg, some research has been created in European and US. Just Community’s theoretical basis: Piaget’s cognitive development theory and Durkheim’s view of collective socialization. How to run this program? The aim of the program and implementation for education.

Abstract

This study objective to describe self efficacy , task aversiveness and procrastination of academic, to analyze the influences between self efficacy to procrastination of academic and to analyze the relationship between task aversiveness to procrastination of academic. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The population in this study were student with a sample of 236 people. From result testing hypothesis seen that self efficacy and task aversiveness take effect significant to behavior procrastination academic.

Abstract

Academic resilience is a form of student resilience in stressful conditions, a way to rise from adversity, adapt, and how to solve problems to face various existing academic demands. One of the factors that influence academic resilience is social support. This study was conducted to examine the significant relationship between peer social support and student academic resilience. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach with a sample of 176 students taken using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between peer social support and student academic resilience of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang. Thus, the higher the peer social support, the higher the student academic resilience of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang. Vice versa, the lower the peer social support, the lower the student academic resilience of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Remaja saat ini lahir dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang sudah berkembang pesat, sedangkan bagi orangtua dan guru teknologi adalah hal yang baru dan butuh waktu untuk dapat menguasainya. Hal ini menyebabkan munculnya kesenjangan antara orangtua/guru dan remajanya. Dimana orangtua dan guru tidak sepenuhnya mampu memantau aktivitas remaja. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orangtua dan guru tentang literasi media sosial sehingga dapat mencegah ancaman siber pada remaja. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah 63 orangtua dan 28 guru di SMA Laboratarium Pembangunan di kota Padang. Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan psikoedukasi. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan tentang literasi sosial media, dampak ancaman siber pada siswa dan upaya pencegahannya.

Abstract

The "manjanguak" tradition is a series of funeral ceremonies held at the funeral home which is attended by family and relatives. The study of the manjanguak tradition is more concerned with the social values contained in it such as value of character education. This is because the manjanguak tradition is a tradition that exists in the human social realm that contains character education values. However, there has not been much discussion of its influence on the individual psychological aspects of this tradition. Humans are social creatures that are closely related to their environment. Humans who are detached from social ties will experience mental health problems such as low self-esteem and low self-control. Therefore, this article is a literature review that discusses all the dimensions contained in the manjangauak tradition. This article focuses not only on the social learning process and the values of character education, but also on the individual psychological effects of the manjanguak tradition.

Abstract

Lingkungan merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi terhadap pembentukan dan perkembangan perilaku individu, baik lingkungan fisik maupun lingkungan sosiopsikologis, termasuk didalamnya adalah belajar. Perilaku sosial yang akhirnya akan membentuk karakter seseorang seyogyanya mengarah pada karakter yang baik dan sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan. Salah satu faktor siswa memiliki perilaku sosial negatif dikarenakan adanya kurangnya mendapat kasih sayang dari keluarga yang utuh, pergaulan lingkungan yang bebas serta kurangnya pemahaman dalam berperilaku sosial yang terarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku sosial negatif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yaitu mendeskripsikan fenomena yang ada. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas  VII SMPN 22 Padang berjumlah 285 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 48 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data  menggunakan perilaku sosial dengan model skla likert. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku sosial negatif siswa dari keluarga broken home secara keseluruhan berdasarkan pada kategori rendah terdapat persentase 68,75%, terdapat siswa yang memiliki perilaku sosial negatif pada kategori sangat rendah terdapat persentase 31,25%, tidak terdapat siswa yang memiliki perilaku sosial negatif dengan kategori sedang, tinggi, dan sangat tinggi. Implikasi bagi Bimbingan dan Konseling dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian layanan informasi, layanan bimbingan kelompok, konseling individual. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku sosial negatif siswa dari keluarga broken home secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori rendah yang dimana pada perilaku nya berdasarkan pada aspek-aspek perilaku sosial negatif siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe parenting styles, describe fatigue, describe academic procrastination and examine the relationship between parenting styles and fatigue with academic procrastination. This type of research is quantitative research using descriptive and correlational analysis approaches. In this study, what was described was parenting parents, fatigue and academic procrastination of students. The population in this study were students of class VIII MTsS Al-Hidayah Pasaman Barat, totaling 182 students. The number of samples in this study were 125 students who were taken using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. This study used two data analysis techniques, namely descriptive analysis and correlational analysis. Descriptive analysis was carried out using the percentage formula while correlational analysis used the product moment correlation formula and the calculation was assisted by using the SPSS version 20.0 for windows program. The results showed (1) the level of parenting in general was in the low category, (2) the level of fatigue was generally in the high category, (3) the level of academic procrastination of MtsS Al-Hidayah Pasaman Barat students was generally in the high category and (4) there is a significant relationship between parenting and fatigue with academic procrastination of MTsS Al-Hidayah Pasaman Barat students with a correlation coefficient of 0.704 and a significance level of 0.000. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between parenting and fatigue with academic procrastination of students at MTsS Al-Hidayah Pasaman Barat. The implications of the research results can be used as input for creating a guidance and counseling service program at MTsS Al-Hidayah Pasaman Barat. Abstract

Pencegahan Covid-19 bersumber dari self awareness dalam mengimplementasikan penerapan protokol kesehatan. Siswa belum menerapkan protokol kesehatan dengan baik. Hal ini menunjukkan masih kurangnya self awareness siswa dalam penerapan pencegahan penularan Covid-19. Berbagai himpitan yang dialami siswa di era new normal belum ampuh dengan diberikan bimbingan kelompok untuk penanggulangan  hal itu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment design dengan rancangan pretest posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 467 siswa, dan diambil 20 siswa yang dibagi menjadi 10 siswa untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 10 siswa untuk kelompok kontrol. Penarikan sampel yang digunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan model skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan wilcoxon signed ranks test dan kolmogorov Smirnov. Berdasarkan Hasil Penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa bimbingan kelompok pendekatan Gestalt dengan teknik sosiodrama efektif untuk meningkatkan self awareness dalam pencegahan penularan Covid-19 di era new normal Kata Kunci : bimbingan kelompok, teknik sosiodrama, self awareness
