Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide a reference for teachers and guidance counselors in overcoming the problem of students' decline in moral decadence through the Ki Hajar Dewantara arts education concept. To achieve this goal, this research uses literature or literature review methods. This research collects literature from various books and articles related to the subject discussed. The results of the research show that Ki Hajar Dewantara's concept of arts education is considered suitable for overcoming the problem of students' moral decadence. This is because art produces refinement and order. So that it can improve human values, through developing various aspects of the human self as a whole.  Apart from that, it can also develop aspects of children's thoughts, feelings and wills in a balanced way, so that they can develop into complete and happy individuals.

Abstract

This study is objective to describe the task aversiveness and procrastination of academics, to analyze the influences between task aversiveness to procrastination of academics and to analyze the relationship between task aversiveness to procrastination of academics. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. Identification of the problem in the study, there is a correlation between procrastination and task aversiveness separately strong and stable. The Purpose of study is test of connection task aversiveness student with procrastination academic. In this study, researchers use a quantitative method with a descriptive correlative approach. The population in their study were 575 students.Amount sample in this study was 236 students which was taken by using Slovin formula. The Sample was taken from each different class, then the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique was used. On this research, there are two types of variables. They are variable free (independent) and variable bound (dependent). As for the free variable or the independent variablein this study is task aversiveness, while the bound variable or the dependent variable is academic procrastination. In this study, the data used is interval data. As for variable in this study is task aversiveness and procrastination academic. The research instrument used is a questionnaire using Likert Scale. The results of this research show 64.41 % of students have high task aversiveness. This shows that students who perceive task aversion bothered or are not comfortable with duty are in the high category. On procrastination academic shows 60.59 % have high academic procrastination behavior. This shows the behavior of procrastination academic student high category because many procrastinating students do academic duty in the period of time you want. From the hypothesis it is found that task aversion influences significantly to the procrastination of academics. We conclude that they are connection task aversiveness significantly to academic procrastination behavior . That is, the more and more high task aversiveness, then the behavior of academic procrastination will also increase, and vice versa .

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of sex education information services using video media to prevent sexual harassment of students.The research method used is quantitative research. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment Design with a Pretest Posttest Group Design. The population in this study were 284 students. The research sample was 30 students for the experimental group and 30 students for the control group. Sampling used Cluster Sampling. The research instrument used a Likert Scale model, the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov with the help of SPSS version 24.00.The results of the study show that; (1) there is a significant difference in students' understanding of sex education to prevent sexual harassment in the experimental group before and after participating in information services using video media, the probability number is below alpha 0.05 (0.003 <0.05), (2) there are differences in understanding sex education of students to prevent sexual harassment in the control group before and after participating in information services without using video media obtained a probability number below alpha 0.05 (0.003 <0.05), (3) there are differences in students' understanding of sex education to prevent sexual harassment in the experimental group given information services using video media with a control group provided information services without using video media obtained by 0.002, or probability below 0.05 (0.002 < 0.05). The difference can be seen from the posttest results of the experimental group which are higher than the posttest results of the control group. The findings of this study can be concluded that sex education information services using video media are more effective in preventing acts of sexual harassment on students.

Abstract

Feelings of anxiety and restlessness in students result in an inability to adapt, resulting in culture shock. The inability to adapt affects a person's psychology in problem solving, learning and the individual's habits. This research aims to describe culture shock in the affective, behavioral and cognitive dimensions. This research method uses descriptive quantitative with numbers subject 25 active students from Papua at Padang State University. The results of the research show that the culture shock picture of students from Papua at UNP is in the medium category with an overall percentage of 96%. Based on the research results, the implications that can be provided are, orientation services, information services, individual counseling services, group counseling services using relevant counseling approaches.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena yang terjadi pada mahasiswa yang memberikan penghayatan tidak tepat ketika dihadapkan pada suatu permasalahan. Mereka memberikan penghayatan pada masalahnya dengan cara menyakiti dirinya sendiri (self injury), dan cara ini diyakini mereka dapat memberikan ketenangan sesaat dan mampu membebaskan mereka dari rasa sakit secara psikologis yang dialaminya.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kecenderungan self injurypada mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling ditinjau dari dimensi lingkungan, biologis, kognitif, perilaku dan afektif.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 254 orang mahasiswa Departemen Bimbingan dan Konseling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner kecenderungan self injury yang sudah diuji valid dengan menggunakan rumus Pearson Corelation dan uji reliabilitas dengan menggunakan rumus Cronbach’s Alpha. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan self injury pada mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling pada umumnya berada pada kategori rendah yakni dengan hasil rata-rata 92,4 (42,95%), yang terdiri dari 1) Dimensi lingkungan berada pada kategori rendah dengan rata-rata skor 20,22 (44,93%); 2) Dimensi Biologis berada pada kategori rendah dengan rata-rata skor 3,64 (36,41); 3) Dimensi Kognitif berada pada kategori rendah dengan rata-rata skor 17 (43,07%); 4) Dimensi perilaku berada pada kategori rendah dengan rata-rata skor 10 (40,63%); 5) Dimensi afektif berada pada kategori rendah dengan rata-rata skor 41,11 (43,27%). Berdasarkan penelitian ini, layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang dapat diberikan untuk menurunkan kecenderungan self injury adalah layanan informasi, layanan konseling individual dan layanan konseling kelompok.Kata Kunci: self injury, mahasiswa, Bimbingan dan Konseling

Abstract

The service materials provided by guidance and counseling teachers are things that need to be considered and selected according to student needs. The accuracy of providing materials will help meet students' needs. So the selection of service materials for each development area will be different. This research aims to analyze the dominant service sector material provided by guidance and counseling teachers in schools. This type of research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The research population was all guidance and counseling teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The research sample, namely BK teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman, was selected using the total sampling formula. The research instruments are interview guidelines and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results this research show that the provision of service materials for the learning development and social fields is the dominant field of material provided in schools. So that the results of this research can become a reference for guidance and counseling teachers in schools to broaden their understanding of the field of social development and learning so that they can choose service materials that are not monotonous, and with this understanding they can support the effectiveness of the services provided.

Abstract

Kurangnya kematangan karir siswa disebabkan oleh sedikitnya pengetahuan siswa terkait informasi pengambilan keputusan karirnya. Siswa kesulitan dalam menentukan lanjut ke Perguruan Tinggi atau langsung bekerja sesuai dengan keahlian yang dimilikinya serta sedikitnya minat siswa terkait pilihan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan jurusannya saat ini. Hal ini dapat diatasi melalui layanan bimbingan konseling yaitu melalui layanan informasi dengan teknik diskusi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kematangan karir siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan layanan serta untuk mengetahui perbedaan kematangan karir siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan layanan informasi pada siswa kelas XI PMS (Pemasaran) 3 di SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimen menggunakan desain one group pretest posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner (angket) dengan model skala likert dan analisis data dilakukan dengan uji-t menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Hasil pengolahan data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diberikan layanan informasi tingkat kematangan karir siswa berada pada kategori rendah yaitu sebesar 99,90%. Setelah diberikan layanan informasi tingkat kematangan karir siswa berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 133,37%. Perbedaan tingkat kematangan karir siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan layanan informasi berdasarkan uji-t didapatkan sebesar 33,89. Artinya pelaksanaan layanan informasi dengan teknik diskusi efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa. Maka guru bimbingan konseling di sekolah diharapkan dapat melaksanakan layanan informasi dengan teknik diskusi dan layanan lainnya yang ada pada bimbingan konseling untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa.

Abstract

Procrastination is a procrastinating behavior in carrying out tasks. Factors causing academic procrastination. If they do not have awareness of the task they have, such as the character of responsibility, students will increasingly procrastinate this behavior. This study aims to analyze: (1) the character of responsibility, (2) students' academic procrastination, and (3) examine the relationship between the character of responsibility and academic procrastination in students and the implications for counseling services. This research method is a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational research type. The study population consisted of 746 students of class X and XI of SMA Negeri 9 Padang with a sample of 260 students selected by Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used is the "Responsibility Character Instrument and Student Academic Procrastination Instrument" using a Likert model scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson Product Moment correlation techniques. The research findings show that: (1) support for the character of responsibility is in the low category, (2) academic procrastination is in the high category, (3) and there is a significant negative relationship between peer social support and students' emotional maturity with a correlation coefficient of -0.562 and a significance level of 0.000. The implications for Guidance and Counseling will be discussed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang disiplin sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populas dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 393 siswa SMPN 32 Padang tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan sampel sebanyak 198 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik propotional random sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrument berupa angket atau kuesioner persepsi siswa tetang kedisiplin sebanyak 26 item. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa secara keseluruhan persepsi siswa tentang kedisiplian berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 60,61%. Sedangkan persepsi siswa ditinjau dari aspek berpakaian berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 43,93%, berdasarkan aspek ketepatan waktu berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 54,55%, berdasarkan aspek perilaku sosial berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 55,56% dan berdasarkan aspek etika belajar berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 50,51%. Layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa yaitu layanan informasi, layanan individu dan layanan bimbingan kelompok.

Abstract

Fenomena trauma psikologis pada anak yang menjadi korban kekerasan oleh orangtua merupakan suatu isu kritis yang semakin mengemuka di Indonesia. Anak-anak yang mengalami kekerasan tidak hanya menderita luka fisik tetapi juga dampak psikologis yang mendalam, seperti trauma, kecemasan, depresi, dan masalah perilaku yang sering terbawa hingga dewasa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran trauma psikologis pada anak korban kekerasan orangtua berdasarkan pada aspek fisik, aspek kognitif, aspek emosi, aspek behavior, aspek sosial. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah 37 peserta didik, menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket trauma psikologis dengan menggunakan model skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) gambaran trauma psikologis berdasarkan aspek fisik pada kategori sedang (45,05%); 2) aspek kognitif pada kategori tinggi (48,6%); 3) aspek emosi pada kategori sedang (48,6%); 4) aspek behavior pada kategori tinggi (45,9%); 5) aspek sosial pada kategori tinggi (54, 1%). Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa trauma psikologis pada anak yang mengalami kekerasan terhadap anak dikategori sedang dalam artian trauma ini biasanya tidak melibatkan ancaman langsung terhadap kehidupan, tetapi tetap menimbulkan dampak yang signifikan pada kesejahteraan emosional dan psikologis anak. Maka dari itu diperlukan layanan konseling individual dan konseling kelompok sebagai tindak lanjut untuk mengentaskan permasalahan yang dialami peserta didik.
