Abstract

Understanding the Arabic text is a fundamental skill for students in Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools. However, many novice students struggle to read Arabic texts due to their weak mastery of basic grammar. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to implement and measure the effectiveness of the Al-Jurumiyah method in improving students' understanding of Arabic sentence structure at the Ibrahimy Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School. The implementation method included structured training, intensive mentoring, reading exercises, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests. The results showed a significant increase in understanding of basic grammar rules and reading ability in the Arabic text. These findings confirm that the Al-Jurumiyah method is highly relevant as an approach to teaching basic grammar for novice students. This program is expected to continue as a model for teaching Arabic grammar in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented to address the spiritual and psychological needs of detainees at the West Kalimantan Regional Police Detention Center, who commonly experience emotional distress, limited positive activities, and insufficient access to religious guidance or mental support. The program employed an integrative approach that combined spiritual interventions including Qur’an recitation, supplication, reflective discussions, and religious study with mental health techniques such as group counseling, stress management, and relaxation exercises. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and participant engagement assessments. The results indicate significant improvements in religious awareness, worship discipline, emotional stability, and stress regulation. Detainees also demonstrated positive behavioral changes, including heightened empathy, cooperation, and motivation for self-improvement. These findings highlight that structured spiritual and mental guidance effectively enhances detainees’ spiritual well-being and psychological resilience while fostering a more supportive social environment. The program is recommended for ongoing implementation as a humanistic, Islam-based rehabilitation model within the police detention system.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Sungai Raya with the aim of improving students’ Qur’anic literacy and religious character through the implementation of the Action Learning and Uswah Hasanah (Role Modeling) methods. The Action Learning approach emphasizes students’ active participation in real religious activities, while the Uswah Hasanah method positions teachers as moral exemplars in shaping students’ behavior. The program was carried out through four stages—observation, planning, action, and reflection—integrated with the habituation of religious values. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ Qur’anic reading and writing skills, worship discipline, and involvement in religious activities. Furthermore, the school environment became more religious, respectful, and collaborative. In conclusion, the synergy between teacher role modeling and student engagement effectively fosters a sustainable character education ecosystem within the school setting.

Abstract

Kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru RA dalam merancang dan menerapkan media pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) mengakibatkan proses belajar anak usia dini kurang kreatif dan menarik. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, telah dilaksanakan pelatihan media pembelajaran PAI melalui kegiatan mind mapping di RA Baitul Ghufron, yang diikuti oleh lima guru. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, praktik, serta evaluasi menggunakan observasi, penilaian produk, dan kuesioner. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam membuat dan menerapkan mind map sebagai media pembelajaran PAI, meningkatkan kreativitas, rasa percaya diri, dan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis mind mapping efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru RA dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan program pelatihan serupa di masa mendatang

Abstract

Kegiatan muhadloroh merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran aplikatif yang memiliki potensi strategis dalam mendukung pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sekaligus pembentukan karakter santri. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya berorientasi pada latihan berbicara di depan umum, tetapi juga menjadi sarana internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman secara kontekstual. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan kegiatan muhadloroh sebagai media penguatan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), pengembangan keterampilan berbicara, dan pembentukan karakter santri di Madrasah Diniyah Biba’afadlrah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan partisipatif berbasis praktik langsung (praxis) yang disusun secara bertahap, meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan program, pelatihan dan pendampingan, pelaksanaan muhadloroh, serta monitoring dan refleksi tindak lanjut. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keberanian, kepercayaan diri, dan kemampuan komunikasi santri dalam menyampaikan materi keagamaan secara sistematis. Selain itu, kegiatan ini turut memperkuat internalisasi nilai-nilai PAI, seperti disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan etika berbicara. Dengan demikian, muhadloroh dapat diposisikan sebagai model pembelajaran aplikatif yang efektif dalam mendukung penguatan pembelajaran PAI secara holistik di lingkungan madrasah diniyah.

Abstract

The science of Mawaris or Faraidh is a science whose interest is decreasing every time. We have felt this together today, in fact this reality was conveyed specifically by the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam 1400 years ago. In the hadith narrated by Imam Ibn Majah number 2719, the Prophet said to  Abu Hurairah which means: "O Abu Hurairah, learn the science of faraidh and teach it, because in fact it is half of knowledge. And that knowledge will be forgotten and it is the first knowledge to be revoked from my people." This includes the 6th grade students of MMU (Madrasah Miftahul Ulum) B-73 Darul Maghfur Islamic Boarding School who are starting to feel bored and tired of understanding this knowledge. It was proven that their 1st dan 2nd examanation (IMDA) scores had dropped and were in the red.  The purpose of this research is to provide education and specific direction to the 6th grade students of MMU (Madrasah Miftahul Ulum) B-73 Pesantren Darul Maghfur so that they truly understand the 4 calculation methods in the science of Faraidh and the parts of the heirs in an easier, more practical, and interesting way, so that they can master this scientific field well and get written and practical exam scores that meet the graduation requirements in IMNI (Imtihan Niha'i) organized by the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School which is the parent of the Madrasah. The method used was descriptive qualitative through interviews, observation, and documentation. After the mentoring, the students became more active and creative in creating problem formulation tables, memorizing the number of heirs and their components, creating problem outlines, and presenting inheritance problems and their solutions to other students.

Abstract

The traditional Islamic educational institution known as the pondok pesantren plays an essential role in preserving classical scholarly traditions, particularly in the study of kitab kuning, which requires mastery of nahwu and sharaf. However, learning methods that remain centered on oral tradition often pose challenges for novice students in understanding Arabic texts. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance students’ understanding of nahwu and sharaf through the implementation of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method at Pondok Pesantren Darul Maghfur Wonosari Bondowoso. This method was selected as a modern instructional innovation that presents Arabic grammatical principles in a simpler, more practical, and engaging manner, thereby bridging the gap between classical pesantren traditions and contemporary learning needs. The study employed an Empowerment-Based Research (EBR) approach grounded in a participatory-empowerment model, following the systematic stages of ECA–EVARED, which include exploration, planning and action, evaluation, and dissemination. The mentoring program was conducted through material delivery, practice exercises, observation, and assessment of students’ ability to read kitab kuning. The findings indicate that the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method effectively improved students’ skills in reading and understanding classical Islamic texts. Out of 48 participants, 23 students passed with good and fair categories. This success was supported by concise material presentation, attractive book design, and the use of nadzam and songs as memorization aids. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, including student fatigue due to repeated material, limited instructional time, and the shortage of certified teachers. Overall, the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method proves effective in strengthening foundational nahwu and sharaf competencies, although further development is needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify the causal factors and the relationship between speech delay in lower grade elementary school students and parenting styles in Dasan Lekong Village, Sukamulia District, East Lombok. The researcher employed a case study approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The findings of this study conclude that: (1) The causes of speech delays in students are both internal and external. Internal factors include physical issues such as an students lodged in the throat, and delayed development since the prenatal stage. Meanwhile, external factors include parenting patterns that are not appropriate for the students' needs, such as authoritarian parenting patterns, by the students' parents. (2) The policies implemented by schools for students with speech delays involve adapting school programs to the students’ needs, such as providing special classes after school hours, grouping students with similar difficulties, and delivering instruction tailored to their abilities. Additionally, schools provide learning support through special teachers in different settings outside the classroom. Schools also conduct morning programs such as public speaking to foster and improve students’ speaking skills. (3) Parenting styles are strongly related to students’ speech delays. The parenting style that best supports the development of speaking ability is the democratic style by paying attention to students' needs, such as checking students' health, inviting students to talk and exchange ideas. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab dan hubungan keterlambatan bicara pada siswa kelas rendah SD Negeri berdasarkan pola asuh orang tua di desa Dasan Lekong kecamatan Sukamulia Lombok Timur. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Data dikumpulkan dan dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) faktor penyebab siswa mengalami terlambat bicara disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal terdiri dari adanya suatu benda yang menyangkut di tenggorokan siswa dan terlambat pertumbuhan yang dialami dari dalam  kandungan. Sedangkan faktor eksternalnya yaitu pola asuh yang kurang tepat untuk diterapkan dengan kebutuhan siswa oleh orang tua siswa seperti pola asuh otoriter. 2) kebijakan yang diterapkan sekolah terhadap siswa terlambat bicara yaitu dengan menyesuaikan program sekolah terhadap kebutuhan siswa. Seperti menyediakan kelas khusus setelah pulang sekolah, mengelompokkan siswa yang mengalami kesulitan yang sama, lalu diberikan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa, pendamping belajar dengan guru khusus di tempat yang berbeda atau di luar kelas. Selain itu, setiap sekolah memiliki program setiap pagi seperti berpidato yang dapat mendukung dan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. 3) pola asuh orang tua sangat berhubungan dengan keterlambatan bicara siswa. Pola asuh yang dapat mendukung kemampuan bicara subjek yaitu pola asuh demokratis dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan siswa seperti memeriksakan kesehatan siswa, mengajak siswa berbicara dan bertukar pikiran.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the challenges faced by schools in implementing inclusive education policies at SDN 2 Denggen. This research focuses on the obstacles in providing educational services for students with special needs. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted at SDN 2 Denggen using primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were collected from key informants including the principal, teachers, and parents of students with special needs. Secondary data included school documents, inclusive education regulations and policies, and literature reviews from previous research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments consisted of interview guides, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of inclusive education at SDN 2 Denggen faces interrelated challenges. Limited understanding, lack of school preparedness, inadequate infrastructure, and misperceptions from various parties are major obstacles, resulting in suboptimal management of students with special needs. The conclusion of this study confirms that the implementation of inclusive education still needs to be strengthened through increased teacher capacity, provision of supporting facilities, and support from policymakers. This study recommends that schools and local governments provide more serious support for the implementation of inclusive education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tantangan yang dihadapi sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan pendidikan inklusif di SDN 2 Denggen. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada hambatan-hambatan dalam pelaksanaan layanan pendidikan bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 2 Denggen dengan sumber data primer dan skunder. Data primer dikumpulkan dari narasumber kunci meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua siswa berkebutuhan khusus, sedangkan data skunder meliputi dokumen sekolah, peraturan dan kebijakan pendidikan inklusif, dan studi literatur dari penelitian sebelumnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrument penelitian berupa pedoman wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan inklusif di SDN 2 Denggen menghadapi tantangan yang saling terkait. Keterbatasan pemahaman, kurangnya kesiapan sekolah, minimnya sarana prasarana, dan persepsi keliru dari berbagai pihak menjadi penghambat utama, sehingga penanganan siswa berkebutuhan khusus belum berjalan optimal. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa implementasi pendidikan inklusif masih perlu diperkuat melalui peningkatan kapasitas guru, penyediaan fasilitas pendukung, dan dukungan pemangku kebijakan. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar sekolah dan pemerintah daerah memberikan dukungan lebih serius terhadap penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the low collaboration skills of students, who tended to be passive, dominant, and less able to work cooperatively in groups. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of applying the Small Group Discussion (SGD) method on improving the collaboration skills of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Kabar in the 2024/2025 academic year. The study employed a quantitative experimental design. The subjects were 22 fourth grade students. Data were collected through tests (pre-test and post-test) and observation sheets of collaboration skills. Data were analyzed using the Liliefors normality test and paired sample t-test to determine the differences before and after the treatment. The results showed that the mean pre-test score of 47.27 increased to 86.36 in the post-test, with a difference of 39.09 points. The t-test revealed that tcount = 10.52 was higher than ttable = 2.08 at a 5% significance level, with a p-value of 7.94 × 10⁻¹⁰ < 0.05, indicating that H0 was rejected. This means that the Small Group Discussion method had a significant effect on students’ collaboration skills. Qualitatively, students became more active in sharing roles, appreciating others’ opinions, and resolving conflicts through consensus. Therefore, the Small Group Discussion method can be considered an alternative strategy to improve collaboration skills in IPAS and other subjects. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik yang masih cenderung pasif, mendominasi, dan kurang mampu bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran Small Group Discussion (SGD) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Kabar tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah 22 peserta didik kelas IV. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes (pre-test dan post-test) serta lembar observasi keterampilan kolaborasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas Liliefors dan uji-t berpasangan (paired sample t-test) untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 47,27 meningkat menjadi 86,36 pada post-test, dengan selisih 39,09 poin. Uji-t menghasilkan t hitung = 10,52 lebih besar dari t tabel = 2,08 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan p-value 7,94 × 10⁻¹⁰ < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerapan metode Small Group Discussion terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik. Secara kualitatif, peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif berbagi peran, menghargai pendapat, serta menyelesaikan konflik secara musyawarah. Dengan demikian, metode Small Group Discussion dapat dijadikan strategi alternatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dalam pembelajaran IPAS maupun mata pelajaran lain.
