Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Child-Friendly School Movement program, analyze its effectiveness in preventing bullying between students, and identify obstacles encountered in its implementation. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects consisted of the principal, homeroom teachers, and students in grades IV, V, and VI at SDN 1 Kelayu Selatan. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data collection, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the child-friendly school program at SDN 1 Kelayu Selatan was implemented well and had a positive impact on changing student behavior. Students became more caring, appreciated differences, and were able to control their emotions when interacting with peers. The school environment also becomes safer, more inclusive, and more comfortable for all students. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program gerakan sekolah ramaha anak (SRA), menganalisis efektivitasnya dalam mencegah perundungan antar siswa, serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru wali kelas serta siswa-siswi kelas IV, V dan VI di SD Negeri 1 Kelayu Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program sekolah ramah anak di SD Negeri 1 Kelayu Selatan terlaksana dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap perubahan perilaku peserta didik. Peserta didik menjadi lebih peduli, menghargai perbedaan, serta mampu mengendalikan emosi dalam berinteraksi dengan teman sebaya. Lingkungan sekolah juga menjadi lebih aman, inklusif, dan nyaman bagi seluruh peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model affects fifth-grade students’ critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education at SDN 1 Leming. The research employed a quantitative pre-experimental approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 33 fifth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using tests and observations. Data normality was tested using the Shapiro–Wilk test at a significance level of ? = 0.05, indicating that the data were normally distributed. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 55.97 (pretest) to 76.79 (posttest). Hypothesis testing using the paired samples t-test (SPSS version 25) indicated that tcalculated > ttable (?8.132 > ?1.694) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate that the Problem-Based Learning model has a significant effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills. In conclusion, the PBL model is effective in enhancing critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education among fifth-grade elementary students.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Civics (PPKn) at SDN 2 Banjarsari, caused by less interactive learning processes. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning model assisted by Truth or Dare cards on students’ learning outcomes. The research employed an experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 fourth-grade students. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test measuring learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using a paired samples t-test. The results showed an improvement in the mean score from 72.50 (pretest) to 86.00 (posttest). Hypothesis testing indicated a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the rejection of H? and acceptance of H?. In conclusion, the TPS learning model assisted by Truth or Dare cards has a positive and significant effect on improving students’ cognitive learning outcomes. It also contributes to the development of social skills, such as cooperation and confidence in expressing opinions in Civics learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model on students’ learning activeness and understanding in Social Studies (IPS) in fourth grade at SDN 4 Santong. This research employed an experimental method using a pretest–posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population consisted of all 27 fourth-grade students. Data were analyzed using a t-test. The hypothesis testing results showed that the pretest significance value was 0.315 > 0.05, indicating no significant difference between the experimental and control groups before treatment. However, the posttest results showed a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups after the implementation of the learning model. These findings demonstrate that the use of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model has a significant effect on improving students’ learning activeness and understanding in Social Studies. In conclusion, the IOC learning model is effective in enhancing both student engagement and comprehension in elementary school Social Studies learning.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the implications of the ideas of Zamaksyari Dhofier and Nurcholish Madjid on reforming pesantren education in Indonesian society. To this end, a critical document analysis is conducted using a qualitative approach, evaluating the ideas presented in Tradisi Pesantren and Bilik-bilik Pesantren, supplemented by secondary literature on pesantren modernization. From the findings, it is apparent that the ideas of the reform-minded thinkers present a comprehensive framework for the five main aspects of pesantren (dormitory, mosque, classical texts, students, and kyai leader); the learning of classical texts through "sorogan and bandongan disciplines"; and that the kyai is a quasi-absolute authority, molding the community's moral and social orientation. On the contrary, the ideas of the modernizers center on the futility of the explicitly formulated educational aims and goals; the limitation and weaknesses of the dualistic notions on the religious and "general" sciences; and the need for fundamental reforms in pesantren education in the curriculum, method, organizational, and socio-economic terms. The integration of the ideas on a conceptual framework presents a leadership and curriculum construct that is socially adaptive. This paper offers a new insight into the area of Islamic education as it attempts to reconcile the romance of tradition, as described by Zamakhshari's ideas, with the reformist ideas of Nurcholish.   Keywords: Curriculum, Kyai, Pesantren

Abstract

This article aims to formulate a pesantren epistemological framework as a model for knowledge integration in contemporary Islam. The study is motivated by the fragmentation of modern knowledge, which separates revelation, scientific rationality, and spirituality, resulting in a dichotomy between religious knowledge and modern science. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature-based method in the form of a critical literature review. The data consist of scientific journal articles indexed in SINTA and Scopus published between 2020 and 2025, focusing on pesantren epistemology, Islamic epistemology, knowledge integration, and spirituality in Islamic education. Data analysis was conducted through thematic and comparative-conceptual analysis to identify dominant patterns, conceptual strengths, and epistemological gaps in previous studies. The research results indicate that Islamic boarding school epistemology has strong epistemological potential to be developed as an integrative knowledge system. It places revelation and Islamic scientific tradition as the primary normative sources, rationality as a methodological instrument, and spirituality as the ethical and epistemic foundation in the process of knowledge production and validation. However, previous studies tend to be fragmentary and emphasize implementation aspects. This article presents a conceptual synthesis that positions Islamic boarding schools as an integrative Islamic epistemological paradigm, capable of bridging the Islamic scientific tradition, modern science, and spirituality holistically and coherently. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kinerja auditor yang rendah sering dikaitkan dengan tekanan waktu dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Penggunaan teknologi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas kerja auditor, namun dalam praktiknya belum semua auditor dapat memanfaatkannya secara maksimal.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh penggunaan teknologi informasi terhadap time budget pressure dan kinerja auditor, serta peran moderasi time budget pressure dalam hubungan tersebut.Metode Penelitian: Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei terhadap 125 auditor pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di wilayah Sulawesi, Maluku, dan Papua. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS).Hasil Penelitian: Penggunaan teknologi informasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja auditor. Time budget pressure berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja, serta memperlemah hubungan antara penggunaan teknologi dan kinerja auditor.Keaslian/Kebaruan Penelitian: Penelitian ini menyoroti peran moderasi time budget pressure dalam efektivitas teknologi audit di wilayah Indonesia Timur, yang masih jarang dikaji.

Abstract

Public speaking is an essential communication skill for students in Islamic boarding schools, particularly for supporting religious learning, public preaching, and social participation. However, many students still experience anxiety, limited confidence, and difficulty organizing ideas when speaking before an audience. This study examines the use of role-playing as a holistic learning method to support students’ public speaking development at Riyadlotul Athfal Al-Ghozali Islamic Boarding School. This study employed a qualitative case study design involving 18 students and 3 teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation during public speaking and pesantren learning activities. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with source and technique triangulation applied to enhance credibility. The findings indicate that role-playing provided students with repeated opportunities to practice realistic communication situations. Students showed improvement in confidence, speech organization, audience engagement, eye contact, vocal variation, and body language. Teachers also observed greater student participation, spontaneity, and willingness to speak in front of peers. Role-playing supports public speaking development by integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions of learning. In the pesantren context, this method is relevant because scenarios can be aligned with Islamic values and daily communication practices, such as religious speeches and group discussions. The study suggests that role-playing can be systematically integrated into pesantren-based public speaking instruction, although broader studies are needed to examine its application across different Islamic educational settings.

Abstract

Membentuk karakter siswa merupakan salah satu tujuan pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh demokratis orang tua dan kepribadian guru terhadap karakter siswa kelas III SD se-Gugus Kartini Kecamatan Purworejo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 191 siswa dengan sampel 129 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji prasyarat, analisis regresi dan perhitungan koefisien korelasi dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian: (1) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis orang tua terhadap karakter siswa dengan persamaan regresi Y = 25,572 + 0,760X. Pengaruh pola asuh demokratis orang tua terhadap karakter siswa sebesar 44,8%. (2) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kepribadian guru terhadap karakter siswa dengan persamaan regresi Y = 27,150 + 0,708X. Pengaruh kepribadian guru terhadap karakter siswa sebesar 53,1%.  (3) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis orang tua dan kepribadian guru terhadap karakter siswa dengan persamaan regresi Y = 16,816 + 0,327X1+0,501X2. Pengaruh pola asuh demokratis orang tua dan kepribadian guru secara bersama-sama terhadap karakter siswa sebesar 56,9%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari ketiga variabel penelitian yaitu pola asuh demokratis orang tua, kepribadian guru, dan karakter siswa.
