Abstract

Fermentasi merupakan proses perubahan kimia pada suatu substrat organik melalui aksi enzim yang kemudian akan dihasilkan oleh mikroorganisme. Eco enzyme adalah cairan organik komplek yang berasal dari proses fermentasi sisa organik seperti sayur, buah, gula, dan air. Kulit jeruk keprok (Citrus reticulate) memiliki kandungan vitamin C yang dapat berperan sebagai antioksidan alami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kadar vitamin C, nilai IC50, aktivitas antiokisdan dan pengaruh fermentasi eco enzyme terhadap aktivitas antioksidan kulit jeruk keprok (Citrus reticulate). Penetapan kadar vitamin C dan uji aktivitas antioksidan eco enzyme kulit jeruk keprok dilakukan pada hasil fermentasi hari ke 1, 3, dan 5. Penetapan kadar vitamin C menggunakan spektrofotometeri UV-Vis dan Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode penangkapan radikal 2,2’-difenil-1 pikrilhidrazil (DPPH) dengan vitamin C sebagai pembanding. Data diolah menggunakan persamaan regresi linier untuk memperoleh nilai IC50. Data kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dengan  mentode one way ANOVA.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sampel eco enzime kulit jeruk keprok memiliki kandungan vitamin C, mulai dari 64,95±0,62 mg/g dalam sampel kontrol positif, 73,47±0,33 mg/g dalam sampel 1, 113,61±1,55 mg/g dalam sampel 2, dan 95,94±0,3 mg/g dalam sampel 3. sampel eco enzime kulit jeruk keprok memiliki nilai IC50 mulai dari 318,73±6,38 untuk sampel kontrol positif, 157,05±1,95 untuk sampel 1, 133,26±5,12 untuk sampel 2 dan 329,03±3,87 untuk sampel 3. Proses fermentasi pada sampel eco enzyme kulit jeruk keprok mempengaruhi aktivitas antioksidan dari sampel melalui perubahan kadar vitamin C pada sampel.

Abstract

The partner in this Community Service Program is SMK TUNAS NUSANTARA, Industrial Chemistry Department in Jaten, Karanganyar. Students in this department do not yet have knowledge about waste-based technopreneur. One of the opportunities that can be taken is to produce nanocalcium herbs from chicken eggshells. Partners face several obstacles, namely: 1) Lack of knowledge of Industrial Chemistry SMK students about calcium; 2) Limited knowledge and skills in making nanocalcium herbal capsules; and 3) Lack of knowledge and skills related to food safety, packaging, and marketing. To overcome these problems, the Community Service program is carried out through: 1) Making herbal nanocalcium from eggshell; 2) Training on making nanocalcium herbal capsules; 3) Marketing management training. As a result, the partners succeeded in producing nanocalcium herbal capsules that are beneficial for bone health and now have the provision to become technopreneurs.

Abstract

Free radicals such as cigarette smoke, ultraviolet radiation, radical triggers in food and pollution. To prevent these free radicals, antioxidants are needed. One of the plants that has antioxidant activity is Sacha Inchii seeds. Sacha inchi seeds contain polyunsaturated fatty acids such as omega-3 (α - linolenic acid), omega-6 (linoleic acid), monounsaturated fatty acids such as omega-9 (oleic acid), vitamin E (α-tocopherol and δ tocopherol), vitamin A (carotenoids), flavonoids, tannins, phenolic compounds and β-sitosterol. The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant activity of the extract and fraction of sacha inchi seed shells against DPPH radicals (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) with IC50 parameters and to determine the group of compounds that play a role in the antioxidant activity test. Sacha inchi seed shells were extracted by maceration method using 96% ethanol. The extract obtained was then suspended with water and then fractionated with n-hexane and ethyl acetate. The extract of sacha inchi seed shells and the fractions obtained were then tested for their antioxidant activity against DPPH radicals. The test was carried out in 5 concentration series by adding 4.0 ml of the test solution with 1.0 ml of 0.45 mM DPPH. Activity against free radicals was measured using a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 517 nm and the IC50 value was determined using probit analysis. The positive control used was Rutin. Identification of compound groups can be done using the Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) method, the results of which can be identified with a spray reagent or compared with a standard standard. The results showed that the sacha inchi seed shell has antioxidant activity with IC50 values ​​of ethanol extract, n-hexane fraction, ethyl acetate fraction, water fraction respectively having antioxidant activity with IC50 values ​​of 25.3 µg/ml, 52.63 µg/ml, 21.42 µg/ml, and 39.5 µg/ml. The ethyl acetate fraction has the strongest activity compared to the others with an IC50 value close to the Routine IC50 of 21.42 µg/ml as a positive control. The sacha inchi seed shell has compounds that have the potential as antioxidants, namely the flavonoid, saponin, tannin and triterpenoid compounds.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach which aims to determine Mathematical Reasoning Ability in terms of students' Self efficacy regarding Circle Equation Material at SMA Negeri 13 Bone class XII MIPA. The data processed is the result of interviews with 1 (one) student who has high self-efficacy, 1 (one) student who has moderate self-efficacy, 1 (one) student who has low self-efficacy. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and mathematical reasoning ability tests. The results of this study show that students' Self efficacy influences the Mathematical Reasoning ability of students at SMA Negeri 13 Bone. Based on the interview results, subjects who have high self-efficacy can complete five of the five indicators of mathematical reasoning ability, subjects who have moderate self-efficacy can complete three of the five indicators of mathematical reasoning ability, subjects who have low self-efficacy can complete two of the five indicators of reasoning ability mathematics, which means that the better the students' self-efficacy, the better their mathematical reasoning abilities will be.

Abstract

Flavonoid berasal dari daun tin (Ficus Carica L.) dapat berperan sebagai tabir surya dengan cara menyerap sinar UV dikarenakan memiliki antioksidan. Antioksidan mampu mengatasi stres oksidatif pada kulit, membantu mengurangi gejala penuaan kulit, dan dapat digunakan dalam pengobatan beberapa penyakit kulit yang rentan terhadap sinar UV. Penelitian ini dirancang dalam bentuk krim untuk memudahkan pengaplikasian, tidak lengket, dan dapat dengan mudah dibersihkan dengan menggunakan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan ekstrak daun Tin diformulasi dalam bnetuk krim dengan mengukur nilai SPF. Penyarian ekstrak secara maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96%. Variasi formulasi yang dilakukan meliputi tiga persentase, yaitu 1%, 2%, dan 3% dengan penambahan formula kontrol sebagai pembanding. Formulasi krim yang dibuat melalui penggabungan fase minyak dan fase berair, kemudian diikuti dengan homogenisasi. Pengujain mutu fisik sediaan krim ekstrak daun tin meliputi uji organoleptis, uji bebas etanol, penetapan kadar air, uji pH, uji daya sebar krim, uji daya lekat krim dan analisis bahan aktif, pengukuran SPF krim dilakukan dengan menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 290-320 nm interval 5nm. Hasil data dianalisis secara statistika dengan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil mutu fisik sediaan krim tabir surya ekstrak daun Tin memiliki hasil yang baik dan Sediaan krim Formula 1 memiliki nilai SPF 15,81 ± 0,01, Formula 2 ; 32,04 ± 0,01, dan Formula 3 ; 35,92 ± 0,01. Nilai SPF dan mutu fisik yang paling baik diantara ketiga formula adalah sediaan krim.

Abstract

This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis which has the title "Mapping Areas of Forest and Land Fire Vulnerability in the Saniang Bakar Area, X Koto District, Solok Regency." This research aims to determine the distribution of forest and land fire vulnerability based on the influence of each parameter: land cover, Rain intensity, soil type, height in the Saniang Baka area, research results based on each parameter of land cover which is quite large, fires are dominated by forests covering an area of ​​4946.5 ha and shrubs covering an area of ​​3810.2 ha, the rain intensity parameter is dominated by the very low category. around 200 mm/year, the majority of soil type parameters are Andisols, the height parameters are generally dominated by the sloping category. Understanding the distribution of land surface temperatures using the Land Surface Temperature (LST) algorithm in the Saniang Baka area shows a minimum temperature value of 14.8OC, a maximum temperature of 45.6OC and an average temperature of 30.6OC. The results of the analysis used in the Saniang Bakar area have a general level of vulnerability to forest and land fires in the high category with an area of ​​around 2358.64 Ha.

Abstract

This study explores the co-pyrolysis of plastic grocery bags and palm kernel shells (PKS) as a sustainable solution for addressing plastic waste and producing renewable energy. A stainless-steel batch reactor operating at 500oC produced pyrolytic oil, char, and non-condensable gases, with a product yield of 48.3%, 26.7%, and 25.0%, respectively. Pyrolytic oil was characterized by higher viscosity, density, and oxygen content but a lower heating value compared to gasoline (pertalite). Various blends of pyrolytic oil (0–30%) with pertalite were tested in a 108 cc motorcycle engine. While pure pertalite offered better torque and power at low speeds, pertalite with 10% and 20% pyrolytic oil showed comparable engine performance at low to medium rotational speeds and better performance at high rotational speeds. In addition, blends with higher pyrolytic oil concentrations improved fuel efficiency, with the 30% blend achieving the best fuel economy at 33.3 km/L. The study concludes that pyrolytic oil can be a viable alternative fuel for motorcycles, particularly in carburetor systems, but requires further refinement to address particulate content and enhance compatibility with fuel injection systems.

Abstract

Ruas Jalan Makam Teuku Nyak Arief Kabupaten Aceh Besar merupakan jalan inspeksi BWS Sumatera Wilayah I, ruas jalan tersebut menghubungkan antara Jalan Blang Bintang Lama ke Jalan Teuku Nyak Arief Panjang jalan ini 4,3 km dengan lebar 6 m. Kondisi ruas jalan saat ini memiliki beberapa kerusakan ini tentunya sangat menganggu pengguna ruas jalan yang melewati ruas jalan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menilai kondisi perkerasan ruas jalan Makam Teuku Nyak Arief Kabupaten Aceh Besar menggunakan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kerusakan dominan yang terjadi pada ruas jalan tersebut yaitu pelepasan butir 41 % dengan total luas kerusakan 2315 m2. Dari beberapa segmen jalan mengalami kerusakan yang cukup parah sehingga memerlukan penanganan rekonstruksi, rehabilitasi dan pemeliharaan rutin, Kerusakan terparah terjadi pada segmen 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 dan 11 dengan kondisi sangat buruk yang memerlukan penanganan rekonstruksi. Nilai PCI rerata pada Ruas Jalan Makam Teuku Nyak Arief Kabupaten Aceh Besar adalah 41 yang dikategorikan dalam kondisi sedang (fair), sehingga perlu penanganan serius dari instansi terkait untuk segera melakukan perbaikan agar daya dukung perkerasan jalan dan penurunan kondisi kemantapan tersebut dapat dikembalikan pada kondisi kemantapan sesuai dengan rencana.

Abstract

Because student data can be used to examine student academic accomplishment, or student achievement index data, student data is a very valuable database. Data on student performance is available at Muhammadiyah University of Bangka Belitung's Faculty of Engineering and Science, which houses study programs in computer science, civil engineering, and natural resource conservation. The data are analyzed using them. The C4.5 Algorithm is used in conjunction with a classification data mining technique on student data to forecast academic progress. A decision tree is constructed using algorithm C4.5. Decision trees are helpful for investigating data and uncovering undiscovered connections between numerous input factors and one goal variable. Performance outcomes are derived from the analysis results by categorizing student data. This serves as a resource for lecturers and students to enhance classroom learning and discipline among students.
