Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi informasi penjualan isi ulang air galon berbasis desktop di Desa Gunung Gijul, dengan menerapkan metode Extreme Programming (XP). Latar belakang kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah proses pencatatan penjualan yang masih dilakukan secara manual, termasuk pengelolaan data pelanggan, produk, dan laporan transaksi harian. Proses manual tersebut menyebabkan berbagai permasalahan seperti keterlambatan pencatatan, risiko kehilangan data, kesalahan penghitungan, dan rendahnya efisiensi usaha. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan untuk mempercepat, mempermudah, dan merapikan proses penjualan secara sistematis. Fitur utama meliputi manajemen data pelanggan, pencatatan transaksi penjualan, pengelolaan produk, serta pembuatan laporan penjualan. Desain sistem dibuat dengan pendekatan Unified Modeling Language (UML) menggunakan Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, dan Class Diagram. Metode XP dipilih karena siklus pengembangannya yang cepat, adaptif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan, serta melibatkan pengguna secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan. Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, perancangan, pengkodean, dan pengujian, menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java di platform NetBeans dan database MySQL. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan penjualan, meminimalkan kesalahan, dan mendukung digitalisasi usaha isi ulang air galon secara modern dan efisien di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Program pendidikan profesi guru, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan matematika, masih menjadi sorotan yang menarik dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjelajahi lebih mendalam aspek tersebut dengan fokus pada pemetaan tren penelitian, kolaborasi ilmiah, dan tema-tema utama dalam publikasi terkait pengembangan profesi guru matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan wawasan mengenai data publikasi ilmiah terkait Program Pengembangan Profesi Guru dalam Pembelajaran Matematika, termasuk trennya dalam kurun waktu sepuluh tahun terakhir, disertai dengan visualisasi network, overlay, dan density, serta interpretasi dari ketiga visualisasi tersebut. Analisis bibliometrik menggunakan perangkat lunak VOS Viewer dilakukan terhadap penelitian yang telah dipublikasikan di jurnal yang terindeks Scopus di berbagai belahan dunia. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis literatur review dengan fokus pemetaan. Sebanyak 1.080 artikel dikumpulkan dari basis data Scopus dalam rentang waktu 2013-2023 dengan topik yang berkaitan dengan program pendidikan profesi guru matematika. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tema yang paling sering diangkat dalam pemetaan penelitian adalah pengembangan profesi dan keterkaitannya dengan perkembangan profesi guru, pendidikan guru, dan pengembangan pendidikan guru berkelanjutan. Sebaliknya, aspek pengembangan pendidikan, pengetahuan konten pedagogik, dan pengembangan pendidikan berkelanjutan masih jarang dibahas, dan penelitian di masa depan disarankan untuk lebih memfokuskan pada tema-tema tersebut

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran, yakni RPP dan LKS matematika berbasis open-ended untuk meningkatkan kemampuan HOTS matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP yang layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Sedayu. Instrumen penelitian meliputi: (1) lembar penilaian perangkat pembelajaran untuk mengukur aspek kevalidan, (2) angket penilaian guru dan siswa, serta lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mengukur aspek kepraktisan, (3) tes prestasi belajar dan HOTS matematis untuk mengukur aspek keefektifan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis open-ended yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, rata-rata skor untuk RPP yaitu 197 dari skor maksimum 235 dan rata-rata skor untuk LKS yaitu 139,5 dari skor maksimum 170, sehingga memenuhi kategori valid. Dari aspek kepraktisan, perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kategori praktis ditunjukkan oleh rata-rata skor angket penilaian guru yaitu 44,5 dari skor maksimum 50, rata-rata skor angket penilaian siswa yaitu 52,24 dari skor maksimum 65, dan persentase hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu 86,7%. Pada aspek keefektifan, nilai tes prestasi belajar 23 siswa tuntas dengan persentase ketuntasan 79,3%. Peningkatan tes kemampuan HOTS matematis siswa menggunakan N-gain sebesar 0,69 termasuk kategori sedang, sehingga memenuhi kategori efektif. Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran matematika, open-ended, kemampuan HOTS matematis.

Abstract

Studi Kualitatif Pengetahuan Asupan Mikronutrien dan Pola Konsumsi terhadap Status Gizi Siswa SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda ini dibimbing oleh Bapak Dr. H. Akhmad, M.Kes untuk mengetahui pengetahuan asupan mikronutrien dan pola makan pada status gizi. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan atas dasar kekhawatiran peneliti mengenai asupan makan remaja awal pada saat ini, terkhususnya siswa SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda. Penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian kualitatif tak kenal jumlah sampel minimum. Biasanya penelitian kualitatif memakai jumlah sampel kecil. Jumlah informan penelitian kualitatif fleksibel menurut syarat kecukupan dan kesesuaian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument berupa angket kuesioner dengan jawaban naratif, pedoman wawancara dan peneliti sendiri. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini ialah analisis secara naratif akan ditampilkan dalam bentuk narasi dari hasil wawancara. Hasil analisa berdasarkan data yang didapatkan peneliti dilapangan ialah siswa SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda mengetahui asupan mikronutrien secara teori namun dalam pengaplikasiannya terhadap pola konsumsi setiap harinya masih sangat kurang, mereka memiliki pengetahuan namun tidak mengambil tindakan yang didasari oleh kebiasaan yang mereka lakukan sehari-hari peneliti dengan responden yang bersedia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model based on Wordwall type Gameshow Quiz in improving learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of class XI students at SMAN 14 Samarinda. This study used a Quasi-Experimental design with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. and Purposive Sampling techniques in sample selection, and T-Test and N-Gain tests to analyze the results. The results showed that the N-Gain of critical thinking skills in the experimental group was 0.53 (moderate category) and in the control group was 0.32 (moderate category). On the other hand, the N-Gain for learning outcomes in the experimental group was 0.56 (moderate category), while in the control group it was 0.25 (low category). The results of the hypothesis test analysis, critical thinking skills and learning outcomes each had significant values ​​of 0.002 and 0.000. Thus, the TGT model with Wordwall Gameshow Quiz media is effective in improving critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of class XI students at SMAN 14 Samarinda.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level and changes in motivation in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 11 Samarinda in science learning. The approach used in this study is quantitative descriptive with 34 students as samples determined through the Convenience Sampling method. The media used is a flipbook-based e-module. Three instruments were used in data collection, namely a questionnaire filled out by students, a student participation observation sheet filled out by the teacher, and multiple-choice questions assessed by the researcher. The results of the study showed that the average score of student learning motivation was 44.29 and student interest in learning was 40.47, both of which are included in the fairly high category. The results of data analysis from the three instruments showed an increase in student motivation and interest in learning, accompanied by significant positive changes. Based on these findings, the researcher concluded that the implementation of a flipbook-based e-module has a positive impact on student motivation and interest in learning.

Abstract

Active student participation is the direct involvement of students in the learning process which includes indicators, such as: giving opinions, giving responses, doing assignments, concluding, and presenting. Class X students at SMA Islam Samarinda have low active participation in learning activities. Therefore, the use of appropriate learning models and media is very necessary to attract students' attention so that students are more actively involved in learning activities. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by pop-up book media on students' active participation in ecosystem material for class X at SMA Islam Samarinda. The type of research used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method and uses a research design, namely pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study was class X-1 as an experiment and class X-2 as a control, where each class consisted of 25 students, so that the total sample was 50 students, with a sampling technique of simple random sampling. Data collection in this study used a student active participation questionnaire, with data analysis using a hypothesis test using an independent sample t-test with a significance level of 5%. Based on the research conducted, a 2-tailed significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, indicating that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model using pop-up books significantly influenced student active participation in ecosystems material for 10th grade students at SMA Islam Samarinda.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of variety in learning models implemented at SMPN 45 Samarinda, which causes students to tend to be passive and lack creative thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model with a Design Thinking approach on the creative thinking skills of seventh-grade students. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: VIIA as the experimental class and VIIB as the control class, each with 25 students. The research instrument was a pre-test and post-test essay test based on creative thinking indicators. Data analysis used an Independent Sample t-Test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the calculated t value (20.545) > t table (1.677), so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, the implementation of the Design Thinking-based PjBL model had a significant effect on improving students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aimed at finding the values ​​of local wisdom as well as strategies for transformation and internalization of these values ​​in the curriculum for students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This was qualitative research, and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using in-depth interview techniques, documentation, and strengthened by focus group discussions (consisting of 5 experts). The validity of the data was confirmed by the triangulation technique. The data were analyzed using inductive techniques to reveal the implicit/explicit meaning of the information in the field. The results of the study indicated that the value of learning needed to be adjusted to the character of the community. Characteristics of the Acehnese people who have a strong, reactive, and exocentric character, are more effective in learning through the use of symbols of local values. One of these local values ​​is peumalèe. Peumalèe can be explicitly implemented in the curriculum and implicitly embedded in the school curriculum. The value of peumalèe not only has a strong foundation in student learning because it is related to their daily beliefs and worship but also has social and religious sanctions for those who violate it.

Abstract

Student success can be defined based on the period of study taken until graduation from college. Machine learning can be used to predict the factors that are thought to influence student success. To achieve optimal machine learning model performance, attention is needed on the sample size. This study aims to determine the effect of student sample size on the stability of model performance to predict student success. This research is quantitative. The data used is student data from a university in Yogyakarta from 2014 to 2019, totaling 19061 students. The target variable is the student study period in months, while the predictor variables are college entrance pathways, GPA from semester 1 to semester 6, and family socioeconomic conditions based on the father’s and mother’s income. This research uses the XGBoost model with the best hyperparameters and the bootstrap approach. Bootstrapping was performed on the original data by sampling twenty different sample sizes: 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1250, 1500, 1750, 2000, 2250, 2500, 2750, 3000, 3250, 3500, 3750, 4000, 4250, 4500, 4750, and 5000. The resulting bootstrap samples were replicated ten times. Model performance evaluation uses the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value. The result of this research is the XGBoost model with the best hyperparameters, obtained through the training data division scheme of 90% and testing data of 10%, which has the smallest RMSE value of 8.318. The model uses the best hyperparameters: n_estimators of 75, max_depth of 8, min_child_weight of 5, eta of 0.07, gamma of 0.2, subsample of 0.8, and colsample_bylevel of 1. The XGBoost model with optimal hyperparameters demonstrates peak performance stability at a sample size of 1750 students, as evidenced by consistent RMSE values across 10 bootstrap replications, confirming that this data quantity provides the ideal balance between prediction accuracy and stability for estimating study duration.
