Abstract

The purpose of community service between PGRI Silampari University, in collaboration with the Lubuklinggau City Manpower Service and the Lubuklinggau City Class II.A Narcotics Correctional Institution is to improve apparel garment vocational skills in the assisted community in Lubuklinggau Class II.A Narcotics Correctional Institution. Methods of community service activities include socialization, discussion, practice and evaluation of participants' responses to activities. Based on the results of community service activities, it is known: 1) There is collaboration between the PGRI Silampari Lubuklinggau university and the Lubuklinggau City Manpower Office and the Lubuklinggau City Narcotics Penitentiary. 2) Good and effective implementation of apparel garment vocational skills socialization activities. 3) Effective discussion activities increase the motivation of participants towards training activities. 4) The assisted community is able to practice the skills that have been provided by the resource persons, and 5) The activities are going well and effectively as seen from the results of the responses stating that the activities are very effective. Based on the results of the PKM activities that the team has carried out, it can be concluded that the PKM activities are going well and effectively in accordance with the needs of the assisted community of the Lubuklinggau City Narcotics Correctional Institution

Abstract

Dragon fruit is one type of plant that is quite popular in Indonesia because of its sweet taste and high selling price. Dragon fruit has various types, including dragon fruit with red flesh, white flesh with yellow skin color and red skin with white flesh. Dragon fruit contains high betacharotene and antioxidants to prevent cancer and ward off free radicals. The fiber content in it can facilitate digestion, prevent colon cancer, and cope with diabetes. The objectives of this study were to determine effect of length stem cuttings on the growth of red dragon fruit cuttings, effect of different methods of giving between immersion and watering coconut water on the growth of dragon fruit cuttings, and interaction lengths cuttings and how to give coconut water to the growth of dragon fruit cuttings. The results showed that red dragon fruit stem lengths of 25 cm and 30 cm give better results than 15 cm and 20 cm. Dragon fruit stem lengths of 25 cm and 30 cm had a significant effect on bud emergence variables, number of shoots, average shoot length per cuttings and number of roots, but the root length variables, root wet weight and root shoot ratio were not significantly different. The method of giving coconut water shows that watering is better than soaking. but on the variable number of shoots per cuttings, the average length of shoots per cuttings, root wet weight and root crown ratio had no significant effect. There is no interaction between rod length and means giving coconut water to the growth of red dragon fruit cuttings on all observed variables.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of the number of plants per hole on the growth and yield of hydroponic pakcoy plants. The study was carried out in the STIPER Dharma Wacana Metro greenhouse from May to June 2018. The treatments tested were one plant, two plants, three plants, and four plants per hole. The hydroponic system used is the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, widest leaves, stem diameter, total plant weight, and root weight. The results showed that the treatment of one plant per hole produced better growth than other treatments with plant height of 23.65 cm, number of leaves 12.1 strands, crop diameter 5.59 cm, and longest root 38.25 cm.

Abstract

Sunflower seeds are the second largest producer of vegetable oil in the world. Sunflower seeds production ranks third in the world after peanuts and soybeans. Efforts to increase sunflower growth are through cultivation techniques including fertilization with the right dosage and treatment in the form of defoliation. Defoliation aims to increase the intensity of sunlight that can be received by plants, so that it will increase crop yields. Decreasing the intensity of sunlight can reduce yields by 40%. This research was conducted using the experimental method which was arranged in a factorial manner in a Completely Randomized Block Design. The first factor was the Professional NPK dose which consisted of two levels including the recommended dose (P1) and half the suggested dose (P2). The second factor is defoliation time which consists of three levels including phase R1, phase R2, and phase R3. The number of leaves removed is 30% of the number of leaves. The results showed that (1) the half recommended dose of NPK Professional in phase R3 had an effect on the variables of plant height and number of leaves and the recommended dose of Professional NPK had an effect on stem fresh weight; (2) The recommended dose of Professional NPK effects the variables of stem diameter and flower diameter in R2 phase, the recommended dose of Professional NPK affects root dry weight in R2 phase, and the weight of 100 seeds in R1 phase. (3) There is an interaction between the dosage of NPK Professional and defoliation time of sunflower plants. Keywords : Sunflower, NPK, Defoliation

Abstract

Di Indonesia guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting karena mereka merupakan sesorang yang memiliki peranan dalam membimbing generasi penerus bangsa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, dalam hal tersebut diperlukan pembinaan guru yang di Indonesia dengan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia membutuhkan dukungan dan inventasi yang kuat. Dalam upaya menciptakan generasi penerus bangsa yang cerdas dan berdaya saing tinggi dan mengikuti perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju dan semakin canggih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru professional dalam mengoptimalkan dalam kelas sehingga siswa dapat mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dmiliki serta dapat pula untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Sumer data diperoleh melalui data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of differences in the thickness of sago starch on the water content in the drying process. The research method used is an experimental method with a drying temperature treatment of 55oC, 65oC and 75oC for 10 hours. The results showed that the drying time required to reach the SNI standard water content of 13% was at 55°C at 7.5 hours, at 65°C at 7th hour, and at 75°C at 7.5 hours. 5.5th. The moisture content of sago flour after drying for 10 hours at 55°C with a thickness of 5mm, 10m, 15mm was 2.8%, 3.35% and 3.95%, respectively. At 65°C with 5mm, 10m, 15mm resistance respectively 3.78%, 3.89% and 4.73%. Whereas at 75°C with a thickness of 5mm, 10mm, 15mm each of 2.68%, 3.83% and 3.99%.

Abstract

Gembili tuber is one of the local foods of the Papuan people and has the potential to be developed into derivative products. Gembili tubers need to be made into flour before being processed further. Drying in the flouring process is a crucial stage because it determines the quality of the gembili flour produced. The drying temperature of gembili chips that is less than optimal will result in low flour quality. The purpose of this study was to obtain the optimal temperature and drying time for gembili chips. The method used in this research is the experimental method. Gembili chips were dried at 60oC, 70oC, and 80oC. Each drying temperature was 6, 8, and 10 hours with three replications. Gembili chips were milled using a blender at 1800 rpm. Drying is done mechanically using an electric oven. Sifting using tyler size 70 mesh. Testing the quality of gembili flour fineness modulus, yield, whiteness degree, and water content. Study results, namely the temperature and drying time of gembili chips affect the quality of gembili flour produced. The best gembili flour based on the perangkingan method was obtained from variations in the drying treatment at 60oC with a drying time of 10 hours for gembili chips. The characteristics of gembili flour in the best treatment were as follows: water content of 1,29%, whiteness degree of 87,10%, fineness modulus of 0,35, and yield of 20,20%.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memperkenalkan usaha Sotang (Sosis Kentang) , memberikan pelatihan, gambaran ide strategi, serta memberikan motivasi agar pemuda-pemudi Karang Taruna Kp. Barat dapat meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi keluarga dan mengurangi pengangguran di Desa Daru. Metode yang digunakan ada beberapa tahap diantaranya tahap persiapan, yang meliputi survey awal, pemantapan dan penentuan lokasi dan sasaran. Setelah survey maka ditentukan lokasi pelaksanaan dan sasaran peserta kegiatan. Tahap berikutnya yaitu tahap pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Tahap ini akan diberikan penjelasan mengenai Pentingnya Peran Pemuda-Pemudi Karang Taruna Kp. Barat dalam membantu masyarakat agar dapat meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi keluarga dan mengurangi pengangguran di Desa Daru. Dan yang terakhir merupakan tahap pemberian saran-saran untuk mengedukasikan dan memperkenalkan kepada Pemuda-Pemudi Karang Taruna Kp. Barat serta masyarakat sekitar tentang UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah) jajanan zaman now salah satunya yaitu Sotang (Sosis Kentang) dan metode diantaranya pemberian materi dan sesi tanya jawab. Hasil dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yaitu para peserta khususnya Pemuda-Pemudi Karang Taruna Kp. Barat menjadi lebih mengerti, mengenal dan memahami serta mendapatkan ide, saran, dan strategi mengenai cara pemasaran usaha dan cara membuat Laporan Keuangannya serta menumbuhkan motivasi bagi para pemuda-pemudi agar bisa bergerak di bidang UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah).Kata kunci: UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah), peran pemuda-pemudi; karang taruna

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to identify a level of a building damage caused by an earthquake early and in detail by utilizing an information system. Early identification of the building damage will be categorized based on three categories, namely minor damage, moderate damage and major damage. Each classification has standards and calculations set up by the government. To find out the damage categories, a current study was carried out on how to develop an information system that could be used by evaluators in determining conclusions according to observation results. Related to the research and development method, and adapting the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model, researchers collaborate between the ADDIE model and the standard building damage values decided by the government in a real time. The design of the early damage assessment tool for buildings is still under development and is still a prototype system.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the digital gap in the world of education today and in the future. This research method is to use a qualitative method with an observational study approach. The result of this research show that in the school that was used at the research site, there still a digital divide where there are still many students who still have limitations in owning electronic goods due to economic limitations and the distance from home to school whis is quite far. In conclusion, the school has tried as much as possible to equalize digital use for students who do not have electronic devices to use computers provided by the school.
