Abstract

Writing skills plays an important role in supporting activities in learning Arabic. This study aims to reveal the writing skills learning process for class VIII students at MTs Ali Imron and compare it with the perspective.of Prof Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Fauzan’s theory. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with the research subjects being class VIII students at MTs Ali Imron. This data collection technique uses observation and interviews. The results of this study conclude that the writing skills learning process for class VIII students at MTs Ali Imron Medan is not in accordance with the perspective of Prof, Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Fauzan’s theory. The inconsistencies are as follows; don't know how to write letters in a word and how to write vowels. Even though most of them like writing skills, teachers have not been able to provide a good learning process for the writing skills and according to the correct writing rules. So students can only just write without knowing or following the correct writing process.

The research method employed was quantitative with an ex post facto approach, where all eighth-grade students totaling 39 were selected as the research sample. The instruments used comprised questionnaires and tests, while data analysis was conducted using correlation and regression method. Several key findings emerged from this research. Firstly, there was an influence from the Quranic literacy program on Quranic reading abilities, indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.459 and a determination coefficient of 0.211. The regression equation discovered was ŷ = 47.674 + 1.321X1. Secondly, there was observable influence from family support on Quranic reading abilities, with a coefficient of 0.618 and a determination coefficient of 0.382. The regression equation for this influence was ŷ = 21.222 + 0.637X2. Thirdly, it was found that there was a combined influence between Quranic literacy and family support on Quranic reading abilities, evidenced by a correlation coefficient of 0.635 and a determination coefficient of 0.403. The regression equation for this combined influence was ŷ = 21.093 + 0.491X1 + 0.540X2.

Abstract

Communication skills are also the skills of pronouncing articulation sounds or words to express, state thoughts, ideas, and feelings of learning Indonesian. The results of interviews at MIN 2 Southeast Aceh, students' communication skills vary, namely moderate, stuttering, and lacking. Lack of confidence in communicating, and teachers only use 1 learning model when teaching. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the influence of the role-playing learning model on the communication skills of class V students of MIN 2 Southeast Aceh. This study uses a quantitative research type with a posttest only control group design. Focus on the posttest only control group design. The research sample used was the experimental class, namely class VA using the role playing learning model and the control class, namely VB using the direct learning model. the results of the study and discussion can be concluded that there is an influence on students' communication skills between classes that are given treatment using the Role Playing learning model and classes that are given direct learning models in class V MIN 2 Southeast Aceh. Because the role-playing learning model assigns students to work together in groups in acting out a story so that it can improve students' communication skills. This is indicated by the sig.0.000 <0.05 value. The implication of this research is that the Role Playing learning model is able to provide an overview that this model can influence student communication, therefore it is hoped that the Role Playing learning model can be applied to other subjects. Abstract

This research describes the influence of the CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading, and Composition) learning model on reading comprehension skills. This research was carried out at MIN 4 Medan City, which was carried out in the even semester of 2023/2024. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental type. This study's population was all class IV MIN 4 Medan City students, totaling 120 students, using proactive random sampling. The research sample consisted of 41 students from classes IV-A and IV-B. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, namely through normality, homogeneity, and independent t-tests, to test hypotheses with the help of the SPSS 27.0 application. The research results showed a difference in the average score obtained in the control class from 51.05 to 64.47 and in the experimental class from 45.00 to 84.09. This shows that using the CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading, and Composition) learning model influences students' reading comprehension skills. This is proven by the results of the T-test calculation, which shows a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000<0.05 so that H_o is rejected and H_a is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between the control and experimental classes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perception of Islamic Religious Education students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra towards the use of Artificial Intelligence as a learning resource. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological type. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model combined with ATLAS.ti software. The results of this study indicate that; 1) The information provided by Artificial Intelligence is not completely accurate because there are deficiencies in the depth of explanation and the references listed are not completely valid; 2) AI provides ease of access and use in the learning process; 3) The use of AI is considered efficient in terms of time and cost; and 4) Student ethics in using Artificial Intelligence as a learning resource is not yet entirely good, although it shows a positive direction and growing ethical awareness. This study suggests that in the future, Artificial Intelligence developers need to connect Artificial Intelligence systems with scientific repositories, and that their use must be accompanied by strengthening digital literacy and critical attitudes from users.

Abstract

In some cases learning Nahwu was only stopped at the level of theory, yet its practice is still neglected. So many of the students mastered many nahwu theories but did not balance with the competence in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Arabic. It is true that learning Arabic is encouraged by nahwu, but the extent to which the model of Nahwu supports the language acquisition is questionable. Descriptive qualitative method was applied to deal with this research. The result showed that to master Arabic language through learning Nahwu, teachers should use al-Nahwu al-Wazhifi. Beside, they also can use this type of al-Nahwu al-'Ilmiy, giving examples of applicative and functional to complement existing examples in the book of al-Nahwu al-'Ilmi. In addition, because the books "al-Nahwu al-'Ilmy” had not been evaluated, teachers should develop aspects of evaluation by extending the exercise to hear, speak, read and write Arabic.DOI: 10.24865/ajas.v1i2.5
