Abstract

Abstract: The advancement of educational technology has not been fully accompanied by the use of diverse learning media. This study aims to analyze findings on the development of culture-based interactive learning media. A systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, using articles from Crossref, Google Scholar, and Scopus. Of the 2,031 articles identified, 44 met the inclusion criteria for analysis. The findings show an increasing trend in culture-based media development up to 2022, particularly at the elementary level in IPAS, Mathematics, and Arts. Cultural integration enhances students’ motivation, learning outcomes, and cultural awareness. Future studies should expand implementation scales and integrate AR, VR, gamification, and artificial intelligence technologies. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Canva-assisted interactive learning media in elementary school mathematics through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review was conducted on 10 selected articles published between 2021 and 2026. The articles were selected based on the following criteria: relevance to elementary school mathematics learning, discussion of Canva-assisted media, open-access availability, and valid DOI registration. The article search and selection process followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The data were analyzed descriptively by examining the development models, media formats, mathematics topics, as well as the validity and practicality of the developed media. The findings indicate that Canva-based media were developed in various forms, including digital storybooks, student worksheets, interactive quizzes, e-booklets, and other digital learning media. The topics addressed included data processing, simple fractions, geometry, solid figures, and numbers. In general, all studies reported that the developed media fell into the valid to highly valid category and were practical for use by both teachers and students. These findings confirm that Canva functions not only as a design tool but also as a pedagogical medium with the potential to help students understand mathematical concepts in a more concrete, engaging, and meaningful way.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren pengembangan buku saku IPAS di sekolah dasar pada periode 2020–2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui Publish or Perish yang terhubung dengan indeksasi Google Scholar. Pencarian artikel yang kemudian diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi hingga diperoleh 21 artikel yang dianalisis lebih lanjut. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review.  Hasil kajian menunjukkan penelitian yang paling banyak dilakukan pada tahun 2023 dengan jenjang kelas V paling banyak dijadikan sebagai subjek pengembangan media pembelajaran buku saku dengan variasi bentuk media pembelajaran buku saku didominasi bentuk cetak dengan variasi karakteristik yang paling populer adalah mind mapping. Hasil tersebut memberikan gambaran terhadap kecenderungan para penelitian dalam memilih subjek penelitian, variasi bentuk dan karakteristik media buku saku yang dikembangankan di sekolah dasar. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah menjadi referensi dalam buku saku yang inovatif dan efektif untuk mendukung pendidikan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model assisted by audio-visual media on elementary school students' reading comprehension ability. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental desian with a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, each consisting of 15 students Data were collected through tests in the form of pretest and posttest to measure students' reading comprehension ability. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. This is indicated by the axerage posttest score of the experimental class, which was 76.00, higher than that of the control class, which was 64.67. In addition, the result of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, indicating that the application of the CIRC model assisted by audio-visual media has a significant effect on students' reading comprehension ability. Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyze the effectiveness of a ruler learning media for converting units of length, called "Line Converter" in improving mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at Gedangdowo 2 Public Elementary School, especially on the topic of relationships between units of length. The background of this study is the existence of problems related to the lack of interactive mathematics learning media, teachers' learning strategies that are still conventional, low levels of student activity and enthusiasm in learning, and suboptimal mathematics learning outcomes. This study aims to present a comprehensive analysis through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to 38 scientific articles published in 2023–2026. The results of the analysis show that approximately 82% of studies reported a significant increase in students' understanding and learning outcomes about converting units of length. The results of this study are expected to produce valid, practical, and effective Line Converter media to improve student learning outcomes. In addition, this study is also expected to contribute to the development of innovative and interactive mathematics learning media, as well as improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study was conducted to address the low level of students’ conceptual understanding and science literacy in learning the Solar System at SDN 1 Brumbung. The research aimed to examine the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by interactive digital media Educaplay and to analyze its effect on improving students’ conceptual understanding and science literacy. This study employed a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The participants were 19 sixth-grade students. Quantitative data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments measuring conceptual understanding and science literacy, while qualitative data were obtained through classroom observations and field notes. Quantitative data were analyzed using regression analysis, and qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed that the implementation of Discovery Learning assisted by Educaplay was carried out effectively and significantly improved students’ conceptual understanding and science literacy. In addition, students demonstrated higher engagement and active participation during the learning process. These findings indicate that integrating Discovery Learning with interactive digital media can provide meaningful learning experiences and enhance students’ higher-order thinking skills in elementary science education.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology requires the education sector to continually innovate in designing interactive, contextual, and relevant learning that aligns with 21st-century demands. One approach that has received increasing attention is STEAM-integrated digital learning, which combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This approach is believed to enhance higher-order thinking skills, particularly critical thinking, while also strengthening creativity, collaboration, and communication (4C) among primary school students. This study aims to systematically review research trends on the development and implementation of STEAM-integrated digital learning media in primary schools from 2020 to 2025. Employing a Systematic Literature Review guided by PRISMA 2020, data were collected from five major databases: Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, and DOAJ. Through a structured selection process, 20 relevant journal articles published within the specified period were analyzed using basic bibliometric and thematic analysis techniques. The findings reveal a notable increase in publications in 2022. Dominant keywords include STEAM, Augmented Reality, Critical Thinking, and Elementary School. The most frequently examined learning media were Augmented Reality and interactive or mobile learning applications, commonly implemented through Project-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning models. Most studies (85%) primarily focused on critical thinking, with creativity and cognitive learning outcomes also receiving considerable attention. Research and Development (60%) and quasi-experimental methods (30%) were the most commonly employed research designs. Overall, the integration of digital technology in STEAM learning demonstrates positive effects on the development of primary school students’ 4C competencies; however, this review contributes novel insights by systematically mapping the limited exploration of collaboration and communication skills within STEAM-based digital learning research at the primary education level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji secara sistematis literatur mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) yang dipadukan dengan media Monopoli Digital dalam meningkatkan interaksi sosial dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang kajian ini adalah semakin mendesaknya kebutuhan pembelajaran abad 21 yang menuntut kecakapan sosial, sementara karakteristik Generasi Alpha yang akrab dengan teknologi justru menunjukkan kecenderungan individualistis dan minim interaksi tatap muka. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengacu pada pedoman PRISMA. Artikel yang dianalisis berasal dari basis data terindeks seperti Scopus, Google Scholar, dan Crossref, diterbitkan dalam rentang tahun 2020 hingga 2026. Dari 142 artikel awal yang teridentifikasi, setelah melalui proses penyaringan berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, diperoleh 18 artikel yang relevan untuk dianalisis secara mendalam.Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi model TGT dengan Monopoli Digital terbukti mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan kompetitif sekaligus kolaboratif. Mekanisme turnamen dalam tim mendorong siswa berdiskusi, saling membantu memahami materi, serta mengelola konflik secara konstruktif. Sementara itu, media Monopoli Digital yang interaktif memfasilitasi negosiasi, pengambilan keputusan bersama, dan komunikasi multiarah, baik secara daring maupun luring. Temuan-temuan studi mengonfirmasi peningkatan signifikan pada indikator keterampilan kolaborasi seperti kerja sama, tanggung jawab bersama, dan kepedulian terhadap keberhasilan tim. Interaksi sosial siswa juga meningkat, tercermin dari frekuensi komunikasi yang lebih intens dan menurunnya perilaku menyendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an android-based game learning media by applying the steps of the ADDIE model RnD research method. The data collection technique was in the form of a validated questionnaire for media experts, linguists, materials, teachers, and student responses. The results of media, material, and language validation were 0.917; 0.898, and 0.791 with very feasible criteria for media and material validation, while for language validation it shows feasible criteria. The classical mastery of student learning outcomes reached 94% and the N percent gain of 59.34 indicated that the criteria were quite effective. Student responses were seen from the usefulness, convenience, and satisfaction indicators each of 0.82; 0.9; and 0.92 indicating very good response criteria. The teacher's response questionnaire, seen from the indicators of presentation and use of language, was 0.9 and 0.875 respectively, indicating very good response criteria, while in the indicators of instructions for use, the suitability of the material and suitability for student needs were each 0.75; 0.8; and 0.79 indicates good response criteria. The results of the application of android-based science learning media with an inquiry approach can improve the critical thinking skills of class IV students on style material.
